Chapter 4: Rhino:
Nancy's POV:
Tyler was talking to the police. "This is ridiculous," says Tyler, "the rhino got out after I left! Wait... what I mean is, I locked the door. Someone else must've unlocked it!"
"Nancy, did you see anyone," asks Det. Tamura.
"Well, we followed him to the rhino, but then we walked away," I said.
"Wait, you were following me," says Tyler.
"You said you were at the cobra exhibit, but your shoes said differently," I said.
"Someone gave me these shoes," says Tyler, "someone get me a lawyer!"
"We'll try to sort this out," says Det. Tamura, "and Animal Control's getting that rhino!"
. . .
Maybe someone was trying to make Tyler look like the culprit. I then stopped and I saw Chuck with his family. I then started to think... but I gotta get back to the mystery!
. . .
We were back at the cage. "Well, we're going nowhere," says Shaun.
"Hey, why does everyone think it was Owen," asks Ned.
"Good question," I said, "we should talk to him."
. . .
We then spoke with Owen. "They think it was me because I have the only key to the Wild Cats' cage," says Owen, "but I think someone managed to pick the lock!"
"Do you know anyone that could've done it," I asked.
"Only two people I can think of," says Owen, "Tyler and Zoe, but you probably saw proof they were innocent!"
"We didn't find proof they were guilty," I said.
"So, it could still be one of them," says Owen.
"It's possible," I said, "we'll see what we can find."
To Be Continued
In the next chapter, someone shoots Owen.
