Chapter 1: The Trial:
Zauriel's POV:
My name is Zauriel and I am an angel. The angel known as Adam; the first man is on trial.
"Adam, you stand accused of murdering Exousia, how do you plead," asks Saint Cassiel.
"I'm innocent," says Adam.
"Saint Cassiel," I said, "Adam may have his problems, and he has many, but there is one good trait, he is, at least, loyal to Heaven and would never kill a fellow angel unless they sided with the other."
"He was right there with the body, Zauriel," says the Avenger.
"You were there too," I said, "by your logic, you could've done it!"
"Enough," says Saint Cassiel, "Asmodel, read what would happen if he were found guilty."
"He would have to go to Hell," says Asmodel.
"I can't go there," says Adam, "I was framed, I tell you!"
"Also, your lunch, Saint Cassiel." Asmodel then summons Saint Cassiel's lunch, which is one piece of celery.
"Thank you," says Saint Cassiel. He is the Archangel of Temperance, so he doesn't like to eat much, "anyway, if you are sure about this, Zauriel, then I give you permission to find out if he is telling the truth!"
"Yes, Saint Cassiel," I said.
. . .
The question is... how?
"I would like to wish you good luck, Zauriel," says Asmodel.
"Thank you, Asmodel," I said, "I just wish I knew what to do."
"What about that detective from Riverdale," says Asmodel, "what was her name again? Ahh yes, Nancy Drew!"
"That could work," I said, "thank you."
Nancy's POV:
We were at Pop's. "Check out my new Easter menu," says Pop.
"It's just hamburgers," I said.
"But with actual ham," says Pop, "in the burgers!"
Then this strange man came in. He walked over to us. "I am looking for Nancy Drew."
"That's me," I said.
"That was easy. I am Zauriel and I am an Angel, and I came all the way from Heaven to ask for your help!"
"What do you need," I asked.
"An innocent man's eternal life could be in danger," says Zauriel, "unless you can prove he's innocent!"
