Chapter 2: I'm in Heaven:

Nancy's POV:

So, Zauriel took me to Heaven.

"Wow, it's beautiful here," I said.

"It is the reason for the Heaven based metaphors," says Zauriel, "this way."

. . .

We spoke with Adam. "I swear, I just woke up and found the body," says Adam. Before that, he said a lot of misogynistic stuff, but I think he might be telling the truth.

"Do you know anyone who could've done it," I asked.

"I don't know," says Adam, "I thought everyone liked Exousia!"

"Okay... but do you know anyone who could've done it to frame you," I asked.

"Oh... hey, remember what you said to the Avenger," says Adam.

"I used his own logic against him," says Zauriel.

"Adam was being secretive," says the Avenger, "I wanted to see what it was about."

"That does sound strange," I said.

"Why did you not report it to the Archangels," asks Zauriel.

"I feared they would not believe me," says the Avenger.

"You should've said something," I said, "this only keeps you on the list."

"I understand," says the Avenger.

. . .

"Can you think of anyone else," I asked, "maybe a demon snuck in and did it."

"That... wouldn't be the first time," says Zauriel. I looked at him. "We've been having security problems lately."

"Okay, is there a way we can go to... the other place," I asked.

"There is an elevator we can use," says Zauriel, "and I can think of one demon we can talk to."

"Then let's go," I said.

Baxter's POV:

I was filling up my magic basket. Then there was a knock on the door. "Can I help you," I asked, "wait, what are you doing with that ba-"
