After rushing for about 30 minutes, we eventually reached the location and saw that Radditz was, indeed, expecting us. And when he saw us, he gawked and then simply stood his ground.
"Hmph! So, what are you plotting by coming up to me right away? I thought I told you to kill everyone before speaking to me again," Radditz frowned, me doing the same.
"We're not going anywhere until you give Gohan back," I frowned at him angrily. And Radditz chortled at that. Almost as if it were the best joke ever.
"Oh, that is RICH coming from you! I heard what happened with why you left while you came here! You left because you refuse to fight anyone! So tell me how you could EVER hope to match me!" Radditz laughed, me frowning as I zoomed forward while he was laughing his ass off and grabbed the Scouter off of his head, him then gasping after and trying to grab onto me, but I got out of grasp in an instant. "HEY! Give that back right now!" he shouted at me.
"On one condition," I frowned at him.
"Peh! And what condition is that, bitch?"
"You will enter a fight with Goku and myself. And we will NOT hold back. But in exchange, you will not check our power levels. Because, as you said, we are still weaker than you. But for me? I'm about even in power with you. And if we win, you give back Gohan and never, ever, EVER come back! Got it?" I growled, him smirking at that.
"Is that all, now? Peh! Fine with me. But if you lose? Your entire planet will be wiped clean of all life. And Lord Frieza will turn it into his personal condo," Radditz smirked.
"Deal," all of our group said, getting to the point as fast as possible as I then handed Radditz his Scouter back. And I saw he was, indeed, holding his end of the bargain and turned off the settings to search power levels. Now it was just a recording and that was it.
"Now, then, mister big shot. Let's dance. We'll lead," I frowned, him then rushing after me first, me blocking each of Radditz's attacks as he connected blow for blow with me before I saw a mistake, me then connecting a knee into his stomach and sending him flying back to Goku. And after realizing that my strength was enough to knock the wind out of him, Radditz switched gears to Goku.
"Piccolo, time for the charging," I said with but a whisper, as Piccolo could hear even the faintest of sounds.
"Got it," he grumbled as he then started to charge. After Goku got beat up a bit by Radditz, as it was how the story was supposed to progress, I then rushed in and zapped Radditz with a lesser variant of my paralysis attack, which would keep him downed for about 5 seconds. After he got hit with it, Goku rushed in, with a bunch of bruises on his body, and grabbed his brother's tail, getting him to stay still and be unable to resist.
"Gagh! No!... Let go of my tail!" Radditz shouted, which Piccolo was nearing completion.
"Oh yeah? Why should I?" Goku asked with a tired breath.
"I-I promise to leave your planet alone! I-I'll walk the straight and narrow from now on... if you only let me live!" Radditz pleaded. And as for me, I frowned.
"Don't listen to him, Goku. Be smart," I frowned. But Radditz then brought on the fake tears... and then, Radditz gasped as Goku let go of his tail... and instantly, Radditz capitalized and, right as Piccolo sent forth his Special Beam Cannon, Radditz lept from the ground, grabbed Goku, and slammed his fist into Goku's rib, which I heard a crack after! And then, after that? He sent a Destructo Disc at Piccolo that completely ripped off his left arm!
"HAHAHA! You fell for the oldest trick in the book! I can't believe how stupid you are!" Radditz smirked.
"GAGH! STOP IT!" Goku shouted as Radditz kept slamming his foot on his brother's chest. And then? Radditz gasped as he heard a ton of glass shattering. And I knew why. Gohan was getting mad. And he was overwhelming with power! his power output at this moment was about 4000! He used this fit of rage to rush forward and slam his entire head into Radditz's armor, cracking it apart and making Gohan knocked out immediately after the burst of energy.
"Dammit! What is this kid?!" Radditz asked in shock, me frowning at him angrily.
"You may want to check your Scouter at this point, Radditz. Not at the kid, but at me," I smiled as I then raised my power up to its maximum it could attain in my weakest form. And when I did, Radditz gasped at what he saw on his Scouter.
"N-No! I-Impossible! But you're a female mutant! You can't have that kind of strength!" Radditz gawked.
"But I do. I've been holding back this whole time. This is the real me," I smirked, Radditz then being distracted for just long enough for Goku to get Radditz into a full nelson, which made the Saiyan warrior gasp as I saw Piccolo was almost finished with another Special Beam Cannon.
"ACK! Let me go! Right now!" Radditz shouted.
"Yeah! Like I'm going to fall for that again! PICCOLO! DO IT NOW!" Goku shouted.
"HAHAHA! Two birds with one stone! Are you ready to die?!" Piccolo shouted.
"NO! PLEASE! MERCY!" Radditz shouted.
"Why should I give you mercy?! I gave you mercy once and you tried to kill me! SHOOT US! NOOOOWWWW!" Goku yelled... and after that yell? I felt something. Another Saiyan coming in hot. And it was a relative to the duo.
"SPECIAL BEAM CANNON!" Piccolo shouted as he sent a cannon right at the duo of brothers, it going right through Radditz's torso and Goku's not long after! And after this, the duo fell to the ground, their power levels nearing zero. They were at death's door.
"Gugh... there, it's done," Piccolo smirked as he walked up to Radditz and smirked at him.
"How could I lose... to... lower class warriors... and a low-class mutant..." Radditz growled.
"Heh, it's because you weren't strong enough, plain and simple. But it doesn't really matter. All we have to do is make a wish on the Dragonballs and Goku will be alive again, as much as I hate it," Piccolo frowned. And when he said that? I growled at him.
"You idiot! Why would you tell him that?!" I asked angrily.
"Why wouldn't I? He's going to die anyways," Piccolo frowned.
"No... she's right to be angry... hehe..." Radditz smirked as he then pushed a button on his Scouter. It just got sent the whole way across the galaxy. All the details of the fight. "You just sealed your fate... I just sent the details of this fight... all of it... to my two Saiyan comrades... both of them far stronger... than I am... rest assured, they'll come here... and they'll kill every last one of you..." Radditz smirked.
"Wh-What?! What are you talking about?!" Piccolo asked.
"Once they hear about those Dragonballs... they'll be here like flies to a trash can... they'll use them to wish for whatever they choose... but only when all of you are dead..." Radditz growled.
"How long... How long do we have... until they get here?" Goku gagged.
"One year. One short year... and then, all of you will die..." Radditz smirked. And then, finally, Gine appeared and went right up to Radditz, which, when he saw his own mother, he gasped at her.
"Radditz... I should've known it was you who tried to kill Kakarot... you're a disgrace to our family name," Gine said, which made Radditz gasp.
"W-What do you mean?... I wanted to... to make you and father proud..." he growled.
"The only thing you did is kill your own flesh and blood. And try to kill your own nephew, too! You of all Saiyans should know that doing so is a disgrace to the Saiyan's code of honor! Never harm your family, no matter who they are. And since you clearly did not understand, I'll tell you this much. Your father tried to save our entire planet. And all you did was murder anyone who stood in your way. And now, you will pay for those sins in hell. You're a fool of a man," Gine said as she then pointed her finger at Radditz.
"N-No... mother... mommy... don't!" he shouted as Gine then sent forth a paralysis attack at him. Just long enough for Piccolo to deal the finishing blow while he couldn't feel a thing.
"There... finally shut up. It's done now," Piccolo frowned as Gine then went to Goku and Gohan, her sensing both of them and being in tears as she knew what was happening. Goku wasn't going to survive.
"K-Kak... Goku... you can't die on me now... I only just got to know you!" Gine cried as the rest of the cavalry then showed up, which included Roshi, Oolong, Krillin, Launch, and Bulma. And when they appeared, I saw that Launch was in her blonde form and she looked at the scene in shock.
"So, this is what I come to after I wake up late? Ugh... I don't do well with this things..." blonde Launch said as I saw she was trying to keep the tears back.
"Gohan's going to be okay. He just got knocked for a loop," Bulma said. Piccolo and I then explained everything as Krillin went to his best friend and held his hand during his last moments.
"Goku... p-please, don't die on us... we need you!" Krillin said with tears in his eyes.
"D-Don't worry about... me... I'll train hard... in the afterlife... and you guys... do so... as well..." Goku said, Gine sniffing as she wiped her nose with her tail.
"I promise, Goku. I'll train like I've never trained before! All of us will! We'll protect this beautiful planet from the wrath of Nappa and Vegeta. We will!" she cried.
"Those are they're names?... Heh... apples... and... vegetables... ahhh..." Goku said before his life finally expired.
"GOOOKUUUUUUUUUU! ! !" Krillin and Gine shouted with absolute grief as we then looked at Radditz and frowned at him.
"What do we do now, then? We know we only have 1 year until those two Saiyans show up, and we need to know how strong we need to get before they show up," Oolong asked, me frowning at them.
"I can say this much to you all. Nappa will have a power level of about 7 thousand and Vegeta is upwards of 10 to 11 thousand, pending on which it is, since he's constantly training. And the most of our group right now is myself, it being 2 thousand in this current form. But as for the others? Not a one of us is even cracking into the thousand range without Goku around. We need to toughen up and toughen up fast. One year is a very short timeframe to get that tough, and our paralysis attacks will only get us so far against foes that tough," I frowned. We then saw Goku's body just vanish, which made everyone shocked, but Gine the most.
"Wha! W-What happened to him?! He just vanished!" she gawked.
"Hmm... it looks like Kami's already setting him up for afterlife training. My best guess, he's going to go to train with the King Kai on Snakeway," Piccolo frowned.
"Um... okay? So if he's training in the afterlife, that sounds kind of cool, not going to lie," Launch said with a small smirk. Then, Piccolo shouted out loud as he then regrew his entire limb that had been cut off by Radditz, freaking out pretty much everyone, even Launch! "WHAT?! Y-You can just do that?! You're a freak!" Launch shouted in shock.
"Hmph, I'm not going to respond to you," Piccolo frowned before looking at Gohan. "This kid, though. When he broke out of that spaceship, he got a power that was at least 4 times greater than Radditz had. And you said Radditz was at, what, a thousand?" Piccolo asked.
"At full power, a little over that, yes," I frowned.
"I think I can train the kid. He seems to be our best bet against those Saiyan freaks," Piccolo frowned, me then frowning at him.
"Just know this, Piccolo. I'll be keeping close tabs on you while you train him. I don't want the kid to die before the Saiyans show up," I frowned.
"Don't interfere with my training, miss zap," he frowned at me.
"Sal! Ly! Say it with me now, or I'm blowing you up!"
"Fine. Sal-ly. I don't want you interfering. If I find out you snuck him out of my training session, we're all dead," he frowned.
"I'm not going to do that. I'm just going to train on my own and keep an eye out for him at all times. I'm a multitasker, so I will make sure he stays alive. If he dies, you're going to be paralyzed at the bottom of the ocean. Got it?" I pouted, him frowning and nodding.
"So you know, then."
"About how you're tied to Kami and that if either of you dies, then the other one does as well as the Dragonballs? Yes, yes I do," I frowned.
"Peh, very well. You guys better get to training too. We have 1 year starting now, so don't waste any time!" Piccolo shouted as he then took Gohan off into the wilderness, which made Bulma look at me in anger.
"Why'd you let him do that?! Chi-Chi's going to be pissed if she finds out you let him do that!" Bulma shouted.
"I'm well aware of this. But someone also needs to break the news to her about Goku's passing at the same time. But until then, I need to have a meeting with my Battle Brigade. Katie! Send message to all Battle Brigade members. Meet up at West City's Capsule Corporation building for the mission briefing," I said, the others looking at my Scouter and gasping when it suddenly gained eyes, all except for Bulma and Gine, as they'd seen her before.
"Understood, mistress Sawyers. Sending message... message sent," she said, Gine getting a message in her Scouter and her sighing at that.
"She does know I'm right here, right?" Gine said with a sigh, her tears now gone and replaced with the telltale fighting spirit of all Saiyans.
"Sorry, I forgot," Katie admitted.
"Let's get going. We have a lot of work to do," I said, everyone nodding as I then rushed to West City with Gine. We simply left Radditz there at the crash site, but only after I cut his tail off and threw it out into the nearest wolf den. He wouldn't need it here or in the afterlife.
