Everything was shaking, the facility, planet, the weapon. It was all falling apart.

They needed to escape, that was obvious, and of course B.T had already found a solution. In BT's own words "I HAVE DONE THE MATH"

And as the Vanguard-Class Titan was currently climbing (or more accurately staggering) into the railgun, Cooper groaned as he felt another violent tug from everywhere and nowhere at once, with the rapidly destabilizing ARK being the most likely cause of this uncomfortable sensation.

"Don't worry BT, I'm not going anywhere." Promised Cooper, in an attempt to reassure the Titan.

Bluntly, BT responded "COPY THAT, PILOT."

And so both flew. Cooper felt an immense weight crushing his chest and body caused from the ensuing G-Forces of a violent release, BT wasn't faring well either as from inside the cockpit BT was shaking hard as well while ever getting closer to the end of the railgun's barrel.

WHOOSH

And finally, both were released from the railgun, into the spinning rings of the ARK core, threatening to swat them both, yet Cooper had something else to worry about. For a searing bright light struck his helmet covered eyes as BT's cockpit filter's was no longer protecting them.

BT opened the cockpit!?

Futilely raising his hand to block out the light, Cooper felt something tight and hard around his waist.

"BT!? What are you doing?!"

"Protocol 3. Protect the Pilot."

BT reared their hand backwards, BT was going to throw him.

"Trust me."

"BT!!!!!!!"

BT angled their body, shifting weights, tensing before!

Nothing. Nothing but only the blinding white light of the ARK.

Cooper felt nothing, BT's hand on his waist, the violent tugs from the ARK core, all gone.

What the hell just happened?

Cooper tried to look around, he tried anything really, closing his eyes to snuff out the light, moving his arms, neck and still nothing happened. In fact, his body was gone, gear and helmet included, he couldn't feel anything.

What's happening to me?

As a surge of panic flowed throughout his non-existent body, Cooper Fell into a breathing rhythm to steady himself and focus.

Calm Down… I'm not dead, at least I don't think I am, with the fact I can still think clearly. Alright I need to recall on what happened… BT pulled me out of the cockpit, they were going to throw me out of the ARK… damn it BT, we were supposed to stick together. I was gonna stay with you.

If he were still physical, a frown would've etched on to Cooper's helmeted face at BT's well meaning betrayal.

And then something changed.

What the?

The light was dissipating and getting darker and were those-

Stars?

Yes it was, and they were getting smaller and smaller, Cooper also felt wind and something heavy hitting his back.

I'm falling?

To confirm Cooper turned around.

I can move!

Shouting after discovering that, Cooper then shouted again after also finding out that yes, indeed, he was falling, facing down grey clouds which were becoming bigger with each passing second.

Dammit!

If he was going to survive this he needed BT, but where could BT be? Looking around, Cooper searched.

Where the hell are you BT?

It didn't help BT's chassis was painted black and orange. Then again he should've seen the bright blue lights across said chassis. Wait! He could contact BT! Why didn't he think of that sooner.

Pressing a finger to the side of his helmet, Cooper opened a link to BT!

"BT! WHERE THE HELL ARE YOU?!"

No response, damn, trying again Cooper looked around again, before noticing he was incredibly close to the grey clouds.

OH!-

They consumed him, thunder traveled throughout the clouds, dangerously close to hitting Cooper. Cooper quickly curled up fetal style to minimize his chances of getting hit.

Swiftly and luckily it was as Cooper was out of the clouds though he was not out of the clear yet for below him into a cold, cold mountain welcoming him.

Cooper's eyes widened, the height of this fall was to much for even his jump kit to handle, he seriously needed to find BT now.

Turning his body left and right Cooper looked for anything large falling next to him.

There they are!

Offline and without the blue lights accompanying their chassis, BT was limp as they free-falled.

Turns out BT was never that far, being roughly 100M from him to his left, and now easier to spot with a the paler lighting, quickly raising his wrist Cooper fired his grapple and with a whirl his world blurred as he rapidly zoomed towards BT landing on them with a hard metallic thud.

Cooper smacked on BT's chassis.

"BT! WAKE UP BUDDY I NEED YOU!"

Cooper smacked again.

"WAKE UP!"

Cooper smacked again while looking past BT, they were both dangerously close to the mountain to the peak of the mountain now.

"BT!"

"Y-yeah!... What took you?"

"PROTOCOL 3, PROTECT THE PILOT."

BT spoke again, warning Cooper.

"COOPER BRACE FOR IMPACT."

"I KNOW BT! GET READY!"

And so Titan fell, metal meeting snow covered rock, a landing so violent that an equally loud BOOM accompanied it followed by the mountain avalanching from the energy of the drop.

Cooper groaned at the landing and energy he felt transferring across BT. The kinetic energy transfer stopped, Cooper sighing and slouching with heavy breaths.

Standing up, the Vanguard-Class Titan then asked a question.

"COOPER ARE YOU OKAY?"

"Y-yeah!... What took you?"
