Xianzhou luofu.

A grey-haired boy carried a lot of shopping bags. Besides him, a black-haired foxian girl was humming happily as they walked down the street. Linking her arm with his, her tail swished back and forth in contentment.

"Qingni, didn't you go overboard with shopping today?" the boy said as he adjusted the bags on his arm and smiled at her. "You bought a lot of baby clothes and toys, but our little one isn't born yet."

Qingni just giggled and replied, "I can't help it; I'm just so excited to become a mother!" she said, her eyes shining with anticipation. "I'm glad mom approved our relationship, and thanks to your dad talking to her, mom finally approved of you marrying me after our little one is born."

He chuckled nervously. "Yeah, she almost hit the arrow on my face again when I stepped foot inside the palace, thanks to my father catching it just in time," he sighed. "Your mother really was going to kill me when she saw the pregnancy kit on the table; thankfully, I managed to escape by jumping out the window."

Qingni sighed, "Yeah, she really trashed out my apartment when you jumped out on the window, and she did the same to chase you down the street." She said, "It took a few days to clean and repair everything."

He scratched his head. "I'm sorry, it's my fault," he said.

She smiled and replied, "It's okay; it's not your fault at all." patting his cheeks, "It's my fault too, because I shouldn't have locked both my legs when we..." Her voice trailed off her cheeks, starting to blush as she remembered that night.

He started to blush as well, realising that they were both equally responsible for what had happened.

He laughed awkwardly. "Guess it's our fault this happened," he said, scratching his cheek. "But I take full responsibility for getting you pregnant, and I promise to be there for you every step of the way."

She smiled warmly and kissed his cheek. "Thank you, Caelus, " she said, as both of them continued walking on the street arm in arm.

While a drone is following them from above, capturing every moment of their happiness together. On the monitor, the mysterious figure watched closely.

"It should've been me!, not her!" The figure shouted and slammed her fist on the table again and again.

While she continued slamming her fist on the table, two figures watched her from behind. The man said, "We should keep Firefly tied on a leash, Kafka, when she does something stupid on the boy's girlfriend, " he said.

The woman drank her wine and smirked. "Don't worry, Bladie, she won't because Wolfie made a device that wrapped around her wrist and she can't take it off," she said, pouring herself another glass. "And she did something stupid on my son's girlfriend, and the device automatically activated, and a powerful electric shock was sent through her body, knocking her unconscious. While unconscious, the device will automatically teleport her back to us," she finished, taking a sip of her drink. While watching her son and his girlfriend,

The man grunted with satisfaction, knowing that the girl wouldn't do something stupid, and continued watching the boy and his girlfriend from the monitor. While Silverwolf was playing video games in her room,.

While in the Palace of Astrum.

Inside the private room, a monitor showed Caelus and Qingni enjoying their shopping. A cycrane above them was flying, following Caelus and Qingni as they walked through the markets.

"It seems like they are having a great time together," the blond man said, smiling.

In front of him, the Foxian woman hummed while her eyes fixed on the screen. Looking at her daughter smiling so brightly, the woman felt a little happy to see her daughter smile happily.

"Are you still thinking about their relationship?" the blond man said, not tearing away his gaze from the monitor.

The Foxian woman shook her head and said, "No, I'm just happy to see my daughter so happy." She sighed, "I'm just worried about her. Many men were courting her in the past. But I saw their eyes, and I knew they were only after her body, money, or my status ."

The man threw his gaze away from the monitor. "My son is not one of those men, Yukong; he truly loves your daughter, and I taught him to value relationships based on trust and respect, not superficial things like wealth or social standing," he said, turning back his gaze at the monitor. "He is a little bit obsessed with trashcans like his sister , but other than that, he is a wonderful man who will treat your daughter with love and respect."

Yukong looked at him for a bit before looking back at the monitor with a small smile forming on her lips. "I hope he doesn't become a womaniser like you, Aether," she slowly chuckled.

Aether looked at her, shocked. "Im not though," he said.

Yukong turned her gaze and looked at him with raised eyebrows . "Oh, really, I'm sure how many women you have charmed with that charm of yours ," she said with a smirk. Before her face turned serious, she said, "liked that you took advantage of me when I was drunk and vulnerable."

Aether raised both hands. "For the record , I did not take advantage of you. You were the one who grabbed me and straddled me on the bed," he said , trying to explain himself further.

Yukong's face blushed bright red. She crossed her arms and turned away. "It's still your fault. You should have pushed me away instead of letting it happen," she said, embarrassed.

"I can't move both of my hands because you were holding them pretty tightly," he said. "And you said if I don't stop squirming, you'll bite my throat out, and your teeth are already in my throat, so I stop squirming," he said, looking away from her and scratching his cheek.

When he looked back at her, both of her hands covered her face, blushing embarrassedly. After a few minutes , she slowly removed her hands from her face, still blushing.

She coughed to clear her throat before speaking again. "Ok, it's my fault then. I should apologise for my actions," she said.

Aether waved his hand in dismissal. "There's no need for you to apologise. That's all the past now," he said, looking back on the monitor. "Let's focus on your daughter and my son 's future instead. Let's make sure they have a bright and happy future ahead of them."

She nodded her head in agreement. She sighed and looked back at the monitor, watching her daughter feed her boyfriend the food they bought. Both of his hands are full of bags from the shopping trip. Yukong smiled to herself, grateful that her daughter had found someone so caring and thoughtful. She knew she had raised her well. If Caiyi and Guangyuan were here, seeing their daughter all grown up and happy, they would be so proud.

"I'm sure Caiyi and Guangyuan would be proud of her, Yukong," Aether said with a smile.

Yukong smiled. "Heh, I was thinking about that too. It's nice to imagine their reactions," she said, turning her gaze towards him. "By the way, when are you going back to the world? Called Teyvat, right ?" she asked.

Aether chuckled and replied, "Yes, that's right. It should have been last week, but I have to extend my stay for a few more days." He said , "I still have to talk to Caelus about some important matters before I leave."

She hummed, "But are you sure? Your adventure guild, it'll go crazy if you're gone for too long," she said.

He waved his hand dismissively and replied, "I'm sure they'll manage just fine without me for a few extra days. Besides, they should stop relying on me so much," he said with a blank face.

Yukong chuckled at his response and shook her head. Before she turned off the monitor, she stood up, stretching her body.

"Ok, let's stop spying on them now, and I still have a lot of work to do," she said as she walked towards the door. "What about you? Since you have extended your vacation, what are your plans for the rest of the day?"

Aether stretched his arms above her head and let out a yawn before replying. "I'm thinking of roaming around the city or going back to the hotel and taking a nap."

Yukong shook her head and sighed. "You're such a lazy bum sometimes."

"Hey, I didn't sleep much for the past few days. because we were talking about your daughter and my son's relationship and getting her pregnant," he sighed . "I just need some rest now."

"Alright, alright , go take your nap. I'll message you later at 5:00 PM. The four of us are having dinner at 7:00 PM. at my home," she said. She closed the door behind them and escorted him to the exit of the palace, walking side by side. All the workers stopped working a bit to look at them . and whispered amongst themselves. They reached the exit and said their goodbyes.

"Don't be late ," she said with a smile.

He nodded at her. "Don't worry, I won't," he said, waving his hand while walking away. The cloud knights opened the door for him; he thanked them and stepped out into the bright sunlight.

When the door closed, Yukong sighed and opened her mouth to speak.

"Ok, all of you stopped staring and got back to work," she said, trying to regain control of the room. Turning around and walking towards her terminal, all the workers immediately went back to their tasks.

Outside the palace, Aether stretched his body and let out a loud yawn. He started to walk around the street.

"Hmm, where should I go?" he wondered to himself. He looked up at the sky and saw the drone looking back at him. He smirked and waved at it before continuing on his way.

"She always has a way of finding me, no matter where I am," he thought, chuckling to himself. "Though, why didn't she send a drone on Teyvat to watch me?" he shook his head and dismissed the thought as he walked away.

The woman on the monitor watched him walk away, a sly smile playing on her lips. She drank her wine, not letting her eyes leave the screen. While behind her, a squirming firefly struggled to escape. She's wearing a strait jacket. Her mouth was taped shut, and her eyes were filled with rage and defiance. Besides her was the man standing cross-armed, his face full of scratches and bruises from her, when he was trying to restrain her. The man sighed and shook his head in exhaustion. While Firefly continues to struggle against her restraints, desperate to break free.
