CHAPTER 3
I stood on the bridge watching the lights of lightspeed pass by "General Skywalker?" I turned to look at the voice and smiled at my good friend "What can I do for you Rex?" I saw him look around "I just wanted to check on you sir." I frowned Rex never called me sir in our private and casual talks. I looked around the bridge and noticed that we were in fact alone on the bridge. "Rex what's going on you never call me sir when it's just us?" I asked him. I heard him sigh. "Anakin, I was checking the data we recovered and I found something you ought to see." I turned and looked at him and he walked over and showed holorecordings of Anita tied to a table while Adien and a hooded figure stood over her. "Master I regret to inform you that this girl is able to resit the mind probes, whatever she is hiding I can not use probes." Adien said "Well i suppose we'll have to find other ways to break her mind my young apprentice." The hooded figure said and then started to use force lighting on Anita. I clenced my fists as I heard her screams. "Now young one we will discuss what I want." Anita screamed and the Shockwave that came from her ripped the hood off the figure's head "No it can't be Rex you're sure nothing was tampered with right?" I asked. He looked at me "Positive Anakin why?" I paused the holorecording as it showed the hooded figures's face "Chancellor Palpatine is a sith Rex." I told him he took off his helmet to reveal his face had went pale. I bet that my face was just as pale if not more pale. I had trusted Palpatine I looked at him as a mentor. "I can't bring Anita to the temple Rex. He'll sense her." I told him "Remember Anakin we're to go to Naboo for a while." I looked at him and nodded. "You're right Rex I need to tell Padmé about this and figure out what I'm gonna do."
