Dark grey clouds covered the sky above the small trading village of Wave County, where the beginning of a Legend was born. One that will be passed down as the strong man known as...

Rage. Pure unadulterated rage was all anyone could see if they saw his eyes, watching as Momochi Zabuza's body laid there with his eyes closed and a smile on his face being dirtied by a pathetic midget man who caused all this. "So much for the Demon of the Mist! More like Disappointment of the Mist! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Gato laughed with his men coping his actions. "At least the girl he kept around is still alive. She'll feach a good deal of money, even if she gets used before we sell her! Ha! Ha! Ha!" Several of the thugs clapped and howled in excitement, already imagining what they would do to the fake hunter-nin that was so loyal to Zabuza.

Naruto tightened his fist at hearing their conversation, he had never felt this angry before in his entire life and it kept rising with every second. Zabuza, regardless if he was an enemy Shinobi, was someone who held onto his ideals and protected the one person he loved till the very end. He would honour the man's last wishes. "How much?" Was what brought Naruto back to reality, staring into the uncaring eyes of the man. When no one said anything, Gato let out a scoff. "How much would it take for you to work for me? I can guarantee that I can provide more than your village!"

There was so much confidence in the Midget's man voice, but he frowned when there was once again silence. "Guess not… Kill them!" Gato shouted to his men who released a war cry as they ran towards the group. Besides Haku and Uchiha Sasuke being unconscious, and Sakura protecting Tazuna, it was only Naruto and their sensei, Hatake Kakashi, to fight. "Naruto, stand back and I'll-" but the Jonin sensei was cut off when he saw his blonde hair genin walk forward and grab the very same sword Zabuza fought him with. Kubikiribōchō, also known as the Executioner Blade, and one of the Seven Swords of The Mist.

Kakashi had never seen Naruto act like this and after having felt the Kyuubi chakra earlier, he was worried before he heard his student speak. "I now understand what it means to be a shinobi, Kakashi-sensei." His voice was low but loud enough for the Jonin to hear as the small army of thugs and nukenin grew closer. "Even if it means to kill, to kill to protect your loved ones doesn't make you a monster… it makes you a shinobi." Gripping the handle with both hands he placed his left foot back and reeled the giant sword to his right. Channelling chakra to his feet he darted forward right into the approaching army, seconds before screaming and shouting was heard as bodies were scattered in the air, some in pieces and some worse than others.

He had never seen this before, not from some fresh genin on his first mission outside the village but even more so he didn't expect it from his student. For as long as he knew Uzumaki Naruto, the blonde had never shown such anger and aggression ever, it actually frightened him a little at what he was seeing. The way he was wielding Kubikiribōchō showed he had never wielded a sword that big or in general, using his unnatural strength and stamina to overwhelm the difference in numbers. It reminded him of someone he used to know, who used to use her anger and abnormal physical powers combined with deadly beautiful sword skills in battle.

Gato for his part watched in horror as his men were slaughtered and overpowered by one brat who probably hadn't seen the outside of his village for long. All the time and money he spent trying to take over this small Wave Village, only for it all to be for not by a bunch of tree hugging ninjas. For the first time in years since he became a business tycoon, he saw someone who didn't care about money or benefits, someone who couldn't be bought or persuaded from what he believed in. 'It can't be!' He took a step back, scared as he now only saw a handful of his small army left who were trying their best to run away from the blonde monster.

Sakura watched as the boy she used to mock and tease and hit was covered in blood with dozens of bodies surrounding him, and even though she couldn't see his face the way he was standing made him look like a predator looking for its next kill. She had seen him annoyed and angry a few times but he was always easy to calm down and get him to act his goofy and happy self, but now she saw a glimpse of the ture anger of Uzumaki Naruto and it scared her.

Naruto stood standing in the middle of bodies covered in blood and small wounds that were quickly healing, the tip part of the blade in the bridge. His eyes scanned in front of him to see the last of the thugs run away scared for their lives before they locked onto his actual target, the whole reason why he and his team was here in the first place. "Gato!" He growled out and the man flinched before trying to turn around and run but had only tripped himself. The business man knew he needed to run but his legs refused to stand so he opted to do the next best thing and crawl as fast as he could.

He didn't want everything he built to be wasted with his death, this wasn't how he was supposed to die! He needed to escape and get as far away from his place as possible. He would be fine with losing money if it meant living but as he got five feet away from his initial spot, a terrifying presence made its appearance right behind him and locked him in place. He couldn't move or lift his head, even breathing was becoming difficult. He saw a large sword stab into the ground right next to his head and he let out a loud scream before feeling himself be grabbed and lifted up.

What he came face to face with would forever haunt his mind till his dying breath. Red slit eyes that showed him infinite ways of torture this boy would show him and a look that told him this was no boy, not any more at least. No. What he saw was a monster in human skin and it held no mercy for the short man. "P-pl-please… Have me-mercy…" Gato pleaded as he begged for his life, having never been more scared then he was right now. Naruto looked deep into this man's eyes and could practically see all the evil and inhuman acts he had done.

"There is no mercy for scum like you and no redemption. You will pay for your crimes by losing everything you hold dear or I'll show you why you should wish for death." Punching the man in the face and effectively knocking him unconscious, he dropped the man before placing a hand over his eyes. He had taken his first kill and he didn't feel any sort of emotion either, was this normal or was he actually a monster like the villagers always told him he was? "Am I a monster, Kakashi-sensei?" That soft and desperate tone shook the silver haired Jonin out of his daze and walked over to Naruto, placing his hand on his shoulder.

"If there's one thing you should learn is that sometimes it's better to kill than have someone take revenge or not learn their lesson." Glancing at all the dead thugs and Gato's unmoving form, he was honestly surprised that Naruto hadn't killed him but it was better that way in the long one. "For people like Gato, losing everything he built and earned is almost a fate worse than death. To answer your question, no. You are not a monster, Naruto." Kakashi hoped that made his blonde student better.

"Why don't you have a clone and take back Sasuke and Haku back with Sakura. I'll wrap things up here." Naruto said nothing but nodded his head before summoning a clone and walked over to the ice user, but as he walked past Zabuza he once again repeated the promise he made with the man. 'I'll protect your daughter, I promise Zabuza of the Mist!' Grabbing Haku and while his clone grabbed his Uchiha teammate, he slowly made his way off the bridge and back to Tazuna house. Sakura and Tazuna didn't say anything as they followed the silent blonde, both worried about how he was doing. It wasn't every day you see a happy and goofy person get so mad he kills almost thirty enemy shinobi like a dangerous animal.

When they returned, clone Naruto placed Sasuke on the couch while the original took Haku upstairs and into his room, laying her down in the bed and tucking her in. She looked so peaceful, he wondered how she would react when finding out Zabuza is dead, but that was something he would cross when the time came. Quietly closing the door he made his way down stairs where he saw Sakura and Tazuna standing in the living room looking at him worriedly. "Are you okay, Naruto?" His pink hair teammates asked him, concern evident in her voice. Naruto said nothing, more so in shock but also because he didn't know what to say. Everything felt numb and he knew something died within him on that bridge, something he would never get back.

"I'm gonna step out for a little bit." Walking towards the door he heard Sakura call his name but it was already too late as he closed the door behind him and walked towards the spot he first met her. It had taken him a several minutes but he found it, a small clearing with many different flowers and herbs encircled by the trees. It was here that he finally felt an emotion. "AAAAAAGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!" Anger. He shouted, unconsciously releasing chakra that flowed out around him and through the forest. 'If only I was stronger…!' That was his one thought. If only he was stronger then maybe things would have been different, he would have been able to stop Zabuza from pushing Haku out of the way.

If only he was fast enough then he would have been able to stop Kakashi from using his Chidori, effectively stopping Haku from disappearing to reappear in front of her master, and stop Zabuza from pushing her away. Everything happened in seconds and before he knew it everything was over, Zabuza telling him to take and protect Haku who he saw as a daughter and his sword. Those were his final words before he was gone. Naruto promised him he would do that even if he had to fight everyone to do so, cause Uzumaki Naruto never went back on his word!

Now after everything on the bridge was done, it was all coming back to him. After the anger then came the sadness, falling to his knees and slamming his head into the ground. "Why do I have to be weak!" Tears fell from his eyes and they felt like acid to him, he couldn't remember the last time he actually let his tears out. "Damn it! Damn it! DAMN IT!!" He shouted one last time looking up at the sky, furious and disappointed in himself. "I swear on my very soul to become the strongest! You hear me! I'm becoming so strong that no one I love and cherish will ever die as long as they are by my side! If I break my promise, strike me where I stand!"

Naruto's promise echoed through the air as if fully accepting his words! While something may have died on that bridge, there was a new found strength created within this small field! Deep within Naruto a golden red eye with a black slit for a pupil could feel a shift within the boy he was sealed in, unknown to both that this was the day both their lives changed.

Blue cerulean eyes opened to see what looked to be similar to a sewer with grey walls and shallow water that barely went up to his toes. Naruto had a guess where he was because the last thing he remembered was closing his eyes in the clearing and then opening them up here. Walking forward with the only sound being the splashing of his feet, Naruto wondered how the Kyuubi would react to actually meeting him. The blonde didn't have any real feelings of hatred for the fox since from what records he was able to find, the fox had just appeared in the middle of the village without anyone noticing. Like that wasn't just suspicious.

"Wonder how long this path is?" It had been a few minutes and he still hadn't seen any other path or indication of an opening. Just as he said that there was a slightly brighter light coming out of a large archway just up ahead. 'Would you look at that.' Quickly making his way he walked right into a dome shaped area that had a ceiling he could see and large black metal bars on the opposite side. "Man, is it fucken depressing here!" With the minimal amount of light and the bland grey colours, who wouldn't be pissed if they had to live in a place like this all alone.

"Imagine living in this depressing place for years longer than I would like." The voice was rough with a slight growl behind it coming from the other side of the bars, but it was too dark to see anything behind a few inches from the bars. The blonde genin, half surprised, took a few steps closer until he was just five feet away and tried to peek in to see a large blackened body just on the other side. Before he could get a good look at it a sharp claw stopped centimetres from his face, not flinching or fully surprised it had stopped before hitting him. "If you plan on scaring me, it would be when you actually have the ability to hurt me."

A deep chuckle echoed before the darkness started to fade away and the figure of a very large animal was seen. Standing roughly two hundred meters with scarlet red fur with black around its eyes and going into its ear. Nine long tails swirled behind looking ever dangerous and ready to attack and sharp claws as big as his entire body. What really caught his attention was Kyuubi's eyes, they were a mix of gold and red with a black slit for a pupil and they scream power and respect. No story or legend could actively give justice to how the strongest Bijū looked… It was absolutely amazing.

"Guess you aren't as dumb as you look, human child. What brings you to my humble prison cell?" It was clear from the mockery and irritation from being inside this place, but Naruto could only chuckle at it nonetheless. "I didn't come in here on purpose, believe it or not, I just woke up here." The fox Bijū could tell the human wasn't lying so the only reason he was here is that he must have been in an overwhelming emotional state, it was how his last warden got here. Besides not feeling him lying he also didn't feel any hatred or fear coming from the boy, which was surprising since he had killed thousands and destroyed a good portion of his village even. "You're definitely a weird one, human."

Naruto responded with a slight shrug of his shoulders. It was silent after that as the two just stared at each other, before he broke it. "I need your help." That was definitely a first to Kyuubi as no one really ever asked for his 'help'. Before agreeing to be sealed into that red headed woman, he was constantly bothered and annoyed by people who were after his power or himself entirely, which was why Kyuubi didn't like humans. Humans were greedy and never shared what they gained… but here was this human boy, a descendant of his first red head holder and son of his second. Their whole clan never demanded him for anything and for the first time that very same clan member was asking for his help.

"I'm willing to do almost anything and everything if you agree!" This is definitely a first but the real question was how trustworthy could this human be. He may have agreed to get sealed away but that doesn't mean he stopped disliking humans, just that this specific clan was more tolerable than anyone else. "Come forward." If this blonde human child wanted his help then he would need to prove it, here and now or he'll just shut him out. Naruto didn't wait a second before walking forward and passed the jail bars, stopping a few feet away from the strongest Bijū in the Elemental Nations. "Know this human, I could kill you right now and make sure it's impossible for you to ever come back here."

Of course Naruto knew this but if he wanted to live up to his promise he would need to take the risk, and he would take as many if he needed to. "I'll only train you if you can prove yourself by awakening your true heritage." He was confused, what did the fox mean by awakening his true heritage? What did this fox know that he didn't, and if he knew then who else knew and wasn't telling him anything? "What are you talking about? What heritage are you talking about?" Even if he did awaken his so-called heritage, how was that supposed to prove himself exactly?

"Very few people know who you are, and those who do keep it secret to protect you. None of this is important unless you awaken heritage and latent power, which I will then tell you what I know and accept training you." Even if he wanted to ask more, the fox was right. None of it would matter if he wasn't able to awaken his heritage/power, so he would just need to wait and get this done. "Okay, how do I go about this awakening?" Kyuubi grinned because this was gonna be painful to the human, and it would entirely depend on if he was strong enough or not. If Naruto died then it'll take a year or two before he reforms on the outside, but he would rather not have to deal with humans bothering him again if he was out.

"When you were born, besides the seal that is holding me behind these irritating bars, there was another seal quickly placed above your heart. I am able to break the seal and in doing so will release your true power, but it will be excruciating painful." While he was accustomed to both physical and mental pain, the fact that even the fox was saying it'll be pain surprised him but did not stop him. What was some pain to protect those you love more than your own life? "It'll feel like your bones are breaking and healing and your skin will feel like fire, because it will. The seal has been absorbing an absonumical amount of chakra from you since you were born and it will all be released instantly. There is no idea how it'll change you physically or how strong you will get, just that you'll be stronger."

Naruto listened to every word and of course he was scared but not because of the pain but because he refused to accept that he'll die. "Even if I am brought to the brink of death, as long as I survive then that is all that matters. Let's do this!" Gutsy and not afraid of death, Kyuubi could get behind this. "All you need to do is sit down and brace yourself, because this will be worse than death." Worse than death, huh. No, death was a piece of cake, losing his loved ones because he was too weak was worse than death. Following as he was told, Naruto sat down and crossed his legs before a claw was placed on his chest. "Release!"

It was instantaneous and just as Kyuubi said it would be. The moment the seal was released Naruto's body was covered in chakra and it felt like his body was on fire and his bones were being crushed into dust before healing, over and over again. Outside the seal, Naruto's physical body was in the same position. "AAAAAAAHHHHH!!" As his body was covered in chakra it shot straight up into the sky and spread out throughout the entire forest, reaching not only Tazune's house but also the village. Everyone was able to feel the overwhelming force and they quickly took shelter. The rest of Team Seven, which was just Kakashi and Sakura since Sasuke was still unconscious, quickly moved the family into the basement before Kakashi quickly left to find the source.

Kakashi was quickly moving as he had never felt this amount of chakra from any person before, not even the Hokage or his Sensei and his wife were able to release such amounts. It wasn't too hard to tell where it was coming from since there was literally a pillar of chakra in the sky, and even from this distance he could hear a scream full of pain he had never nor wished to experience. It had taken him ten minutes of running and listening to that painful scream and what he witnessed made him go pale. In the centre of what was a clearing, curled in a ball screaming as if his soul was being burned by Kaguysuchi himself, was his genin that had been gone for almost two hours.

"Naruto!" Kakashi shouted as he ran toward his down student only to get pushed back by an invisible source, keeping him just outside the clearing area. 'The chakra is keeping me out of the area!?' This was certainly his first time seeing this happen but that was pushed quickly from his mind as he once again heard his genin scream in pain. There was nothing he could do but listen and watch and pray to whatever god out there to let Uzumaki Naruto get out of this alive. He wouldn't know what to do if something either killed or crippled the boy, no way could he face his sensei after that. "Come on Naruto, whatever is happening… you gotta live! The world has yet to know your name! Keep fighting Naruto!"

Inside the chakra filled area, as he was fighting to keep consciousness from the worst physical pain he ever felt, Naruto heard a voice call out to him. He didn't know who had called him but there was someone telling him to fight, someone that sounded like they believed in him and so he wouldn't let them down. "AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH" he didn't know how long it's been but he could feel it inside him, he was changing. Even as his bones felt like they were shattering like glass they felt stronger every time. His body which felt like it was melting felt tighter and his muscles felt denser. Even though he wanted the pain to stop he couldn't afford to, he needed to get stronger so he would go through any amount of physical pain if need be!

Finally after what felt like centuries to both the blonde Genin and silver haired Jonin, the chakra pillar slowly started to thin out and become less concentrated. Kakashi didn't make any rash moves forward since he didn't want to risk something happening to Naruto if he did, but he was glad the screaming had stopped and it looked like it was almost over. With that his eyes widened as he was finally able to get a better look at him now and he couldn't believe what he was seeing! This was Naruto, he was a hundred percent sure of that but the boy he was looking at wasn't the same Naruto he knew.

Once the chakra pillar was only a thin stream it let out one last strong chakra pulse before completely disappearing, and Kakashi quickly made his way forward to check his pulse and breathing. 'He's alive and his breathing is a bit faster than normal, but he's alive!' Releasing sighting in relief he fell on his ass and just sat there waiting for his student to wake up so he could get some answers. Whatever he did for him to release such an abnormal amount of chakra and for him to physically change, he needed to make sure everything was fine. It had only taken a couple of minutes before the former blonde groaned, sitting up and feeling his clothes feel really tight on him.

Naruto walked with his Jonin sensei back to Tazuna's house in silence, which he was grateful for since it allowed him time to look at himself. After seeing that he had grown several inches, his clothes had quite literally ripped at the seams against his new lean muscular body. He could also feel this chakra had increased by mountains and rivers (leaps and bounds) and he could strangely hear the Kyuubi's voice inside his head. "That is me you, brat!" Correction, he can hear Kyuubi's voice inside his head. "Now listen up! There are a few things you need to know since you were able to survive. First, you need to get your chakra under control, you're unconsciously leaking out chakra."

That was not good. Taking a deep breath Naruto focused on how his chakra was leaking out into the area and started to unconsciously absorb it back into his body without him knowing and stopping it from leaking out. Kyuubi was surprised that he was able to absorb the chakra that had already left his body back in and effectively stop it from leaking out almost perfectly. It took years for Shinobi with many hours of training to suppress chakra that overflowed from a person's body, and no one just re-absorbs the chakra back in. 'I need to look into that.' There was no telling how strong the human got after the seal was released, this could all be his natural talent that had been suppressed until now.

"We'll need to next work on chakra control, since you'll probably need to relearn the Tree Climbing Exercises along with your Kage Bunshine. There's no telling how many clones you can make now." While the idea of creating more clones intrigued the blonde, he wasn't all happy that he would need to relearn the Tree Climbing Technique again since it already took him an entire day to do it but he was determined to get it done faster now that he knew how to do it. "Next is we need to see how much your physical abilities have improved, since your body was constantly breaking and healing for quite some time. You probably already feel it, don't you?"

That was an understatement. Every movement he could feel his muscles tense and release, and every muscle felt dense and stronger than ever before. 'I can't wait to start training!' Naruto and Kyuubi talked the entire way, while Kakashi was in his own mind about what happened. He was taking in Naruto's new appearance and the fact that moments ago he was leaking out more chakra than ever before it all but vanished. Whatever bad happened had to do with the events on the bridge, it was the only answer as Naruto had been gone for two hours after he left the house according to Sakura. But if there was something for him to smile about, it was the fact that he resembled more like his parents than ever before.

Arriving at the house they had been staying at for nearly a week Sakura was the only one in the living room, the rest of the family still down in the basement. The first to walk in was Kakashi, which she was happy hadn't engaged in any more fights. The next person took her a minute to realize who it was. Instead of the bright blonde hair boy who was just a little bit shorter than her, in walked in a male with a mix of blonde and red hair standing taller than her sensei and a lean muscular body. He was undoubtedly handsome and the only reason she recognized him was by this cerulean blue eyes and orange jumpsuit that was in tatters on his body.

"N-NARUTO?!" Sakura all but shouted, a light blush at seeing his abs and well muscled chest. No way it was the baka but everything was telling her it was indeed him. Naruto responded with a small chuckle before telling her it was indeed him, but he couldn't blame her since he looked vastly different physically. Even his face had changed slightly, with his whisker marks being a bit bolder and his face having more roughness but a defined look to it. Unknown to him, when he chuckled his front two canines were exposed and only added to his charms. "Sakura, you can get everyone out of the basement now."

Sakura sat down on the couch while Kakashi leaned against the closest wall, Naruto sat down in a dining room chair and sat facing the two. "Let's start with the obvious question, why do I look so different?" That earned him two nods. "I don't exactly understand it either but after I left, I went to the clearing where I first met Haku after I stormed out the other night. I was just so angry that I was shouting and unleashing chakra in the process. Before I knew it, it had gotten out of control and I was covered in it and felt like my body was constantly breaking and healing." On the way back Naruto and Kyuubi had discussed what they were gonna tell people since there would be questions he wouldn't be able to avoid.

"In the process I think I may have awakened a bloodline or something, not only because I look different but also because I feel stronger." That part was true because not even Kyuubi could tell just how strong he got or what he may have unlocked in the aftermath, so they would need to train to see exactly where they were before they could do anything. Kakashi nodded his head because he could tell Naruto was telling him the trust, at least for the most part. There was that gut instinct that told him there was more to his story then he was willing to tell but that would come later. Sakura was practically flabbergasted as she listened, unable to fully believe what was absolutely in front of her, not because of any petty feelings just because it was something straight out of fiction.

"We can discuss this more with the Hokage once we get back and have you run some tests, so for the meantime don't do anything that could injure you and don't do anything reckless." Kakashi needed to actually get started on a report that he would need to put in more effort than he necessarily did on most. "Once Sasuke wakes up we'll have him stay here while you and Sakura take shifts watching the bridge. Just because Gato is taken care of, doesn't mean it is completely safe." Giving their sensei a 'Hai!' The two decided to forgo dinner and head up stairs to get some sleep, it's been a long day for everyone. As Sakura made her way up Naruto stopped before asking one final question.

"What happened to Zabuza's body, Kakashi-sensei?" Said Sensei told him he had taken care of burying the former enemy Shinobi after burning Gato's army corpses. With that said the mixed haired boy headed up stairs and opened his door, completely forgetting that he had placed another occupant inside the room a few hours ago. Said occupant was dressed in just her undergarments as the two locked eyes surprised and wondered why they were in the same room. In the two seconds it took for Naruto to look into her eyes he had looked at her body from the ground up and was surprised to see just how sexy she was.

She now stood up to his chest with pale skin, her long black hair reaching the middle of her back and it looked wet. She was sprouting C-cup breasts that were wrapped tightly to her chest and an ass that looked big and soft at just a glance. She was slim but he could tell that there was a lot of muscle behind her feminine build. Her underwear covered her private region just enough but he would always remember the colour she wore… it was red. Her hazel brown eyes looked at him confused and not at all angry that he had walked in on her with barely anything on. "Naruto-san?" All Naruto could do was nod his head as he felt his face heat up and try to keep looking into her eyes, no matter how he needed to force himself to not keep looking at the girl's breasts that were only a few feet from him.

"Sorry about his Haku! I didn't mean to barge in while you were changing since I forgot that I had placed you in the room I was staying in, not that I forgot about you just that I forgot you were in this exact room is all! If you-" but his ranting was cut off as he heard her chuckle at his flustered self and he couldn't stop himself from saying how cute it sounded, not being aware he had said that out loud. Haku's cheeks tinted at the compliment but didn't say anything about it, seeing as the boy himself wasn't aware about what he just said. "It's okay, Naruto-san. I know it was an accident." Naruto let out a sigh of relief at that, he didn't want to find out how strong she got if she was angry.

"You look different, are you okay?" There was that soft tone of her's that felt so comfortable to him, how just hours ago they were enemies now they were something he didn't really know. "Yeah, I just awakened a hidden bloodline is all." Even though he made it sound like it wasn't serious, the fact that he had gotten a bloodline was definitely something to be serious about. Haku nodded her head before turning around and bent over to grab her a pair of pants that Tazuna's daughter, Tsunami, had given her before getting in the shower. Naruto wasn't able to look away as he watched her beautiful pale white ass, and realized that something else had apparently gotten bigger and stronger too.

Whether it was intentional or not, it looked like Haku was slowly and teasley putting on her pants and there was something inside him that made him want to ravish her right this minute. "He's gone." That cut Naruto from his inner thoughts and focused on what she said. "Zabuza-sama. He was able to push me out of the way and died protecting me, didn't he?" Even though she had said that all casually, Naruto knew she was hurting by asking what she already knew. He didn't say anything because he didn't need to, walking up he carefully wrapped his arms around her. She felt so soft and smooth, not to mention smelling really good, but that wasn't why he was doing this. She needed support right now and he would be here for her.

Haku felt cold at that moment, knowing that the one person who thought she was useful was gone from this world and her life. Forever. But seconds later she felt warm and protected as a pair of arms wrapped themselves around her shirtless body, but she could feel that it was to comfort her instead of take advantage of her weakened state. "You're not alone. Zabuza's last words were for me to take you with us, he cared in his own way and to know he couldn't let you die speaks volumes of how much he loved you." Tears started to fall down her cheeks in a silent cry, thankful she wasn't alone in this moment. "I plan on honouring his last words. I'll talk to the Hokage and have him accept you in the village."

"Thank you, Naruto-san… Thank you." She cried. While she would miss Zabuza and would continue to grieve a bit longer, at least she had Naruto by her side now and his words alone made her feel safe and protected. They stayed like this for a bit longer before Naruto pulled away and turned around. "You can have the room, I'll sleep on the couch." Reaching for the doorknob he was surprised when the door was encased in ice. "I don't mind sharing if it's you, Naruto…kun." Said blonde/red hair eyes widened and his face tinted red. Slowly turning around he saw that Haku was still shirtless with the wrapping around her breast but with the way the moonlight reflected off her, it only highlighted her natural beauty.

"Okay." That night while the two held each other in their arms, there was an unspoken promise that they would always be together. Naruto's extremely high body heat felt heavenly against Haku's natural cold body temperature, the two finding that it was exactly what they needed and quickly feel asleep.

Hiruzen looked with wide eyes, tears starting to form in his eyes and a smile slowly taking over his face. The reason was because the sole patient whose hair was a red scarlet and eyes like amethyst was sitting up and looking at her surroundings before looking at him. "Old Man, you've gotten older."
