Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: With this chapter it gives a surprise look at what happened after the trilogy, in the Mighty Ducks movies, as instead of them being destroyed. And falling apart, Bombay quits the offer here, at the Goodwill Games and trains the next generation. As the pre academy unit in Atlantic City, is none other then the Minneapolis Mighty Ducks. Movie 3, and both sides of the team combine together as one now here finally.
As Wesley Crusher becomes the best of friends with the team, and he and his unit join forces with them their entire team and give the Hawks, who are the Edina Hawks. From the movie trilogy, a real run for their money now, as the year goes by, as the teams at the academy are created in the added sports now, as the years go by here. Taking on the names of the Districts, the Atlantic City Knights and Edina Red Hawks.
But if anyone noticed here in the continued references to the movie script of Sphere, the story is going to follow some of it, but changes in other areas. And this story on Sphere, is going to be book 3 of the 6 part series I'm creating now. Basing it from now, to end of Season 5, and instead of dead, Daniel's going to be training to be a Q. And like season 6 showed, only 3 of the 22 episodes, has him with the trio, the others.
He's there at the SGA, Daniel's clone, turned twin brother ascended and Daniel is at the SGA, making his powers stronger. As the last episode unlocked his potential completely, though by doing that, everything that came with it. Starts coming out in visions, till they reach my other story, of the Past and Present series. Till the final shot results now here in the 5 years he spent, on board the enterprise, there in Antarctica.
With this series, there's going to be a severe amount of backlash brought on by the traumas of Hathor and Machello. But the connector here is going to be Need and Shyla's kingdom, so for Sam and Jack. The events of Hathor and Shyla have stuck, leaving them facing a backlash that has Daniel. And Teal'C, on one of the line, them on the other, in basing this solely on the book series on the movie, directly after it.
The events are altered to it being civilian ran with military help and the SGA is just that, as Jack and Makepeace get the entirety of the consequences. That resulted in Daniel becoming a pariah now in that book series, only now it's reversed here. So everything negative on Daniel is Jack now, in the SGA and everything Jack is Daniel. In the SGC ops, but it's because of the permanent effects of Hathor's pheromones.
This story and it's followers are going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 136: New Futures And Fresh Starts XXXIV: Time's Arrow and Recovery XXXIV
The Briefing, Unexpected Truths And Preparations:
"And that should do it, alright we seen enough right now, but this just made them out as everything you been saying since Hathor came into the picture. They'll do anything to keep you from leaving so crazy jealousy, if they can't have you, then no one can." Walker said and the trio went white in fear at the diagnosis sternly then. "Alright we seen enough and what happened last year still stands first they tried to kill you and then they emotionally destroyed you."
"And for their own sick decision, one betrayal you could take, the little bastard got 1/2 the team killed 2 years prior, but you were just beginning to let it go in my daughter's case. For her cruel words during Kenny, but there is no chance of that now, you just washed your hands of her." Jacob said and he nodded sternly. "Well I remember that appearance in Dustin right now, him looking over the records of the quartet and the girls right now on the moment at the time."
"Uh let me take a guess here right now, but the Kiersey temperament sorter?" Cam asked and Henderson nodded gently. "Psychiatrist baby, in truth here, this is like being trapped in the house, where you had only each other for company. But a case of fear and performance, that's my area, I specialize in phobias and deepsea diving, via subs and habitats. So before going in there, you need to deal with your fears, you pass the psyche exam you're in right now, kiddo."
"I'm actually what Dustin looked like on the movie, examining records, to determine eligibility." he said and they nodded. "Goodman been working one on one with all of them, but putting the team together in a confined space, the isolation was going to test their bonds to the limit." Carson said and he nodded. "Which is what the obstacle course will do, not the current one, but the Trial Of Moons, we have only each other, and that is going to test our relationship now."
"Like nothing ever could at the moment, the team I'm taking along here is the four of us, Andy, Jenny, you, Rodney, and Beth now, Johnny. We're doing each level by the numbers, and then input a tracking beacon, so we're putting that into the holodeck training for the cadets." he said and Hammond chuckled at that. "Train the kids like nothing ever could, this is for the real thing, instead of endless simulations, we train by doing it on the holodeck as it then turns."
"In 3/4's real right now, so at least Ra knows we still use his trial of moons, to prove our loyalty to him, Egeria, Cronus and Emperor Yu now, our loyalty to them is a given. We swore fealty to our Queen, Queen Egeria and here's the proof." Jacob said smiling and he nodded. "Agreed right now, as for this stint and the following strikes, this crossed the line so far down. That there is no escaping the psychosis here, not about making you a traitor, they're trying to break you."
"But clearly this was never about you're being traitor, but your refusal to turn against your principles right now, but the fact they traumatized you this much. There is no way in heck they're being allowed near you again right now, so splitting the team up. When we search the ship, she's with Dave, I have you and we keep it that way. She's being watched right now, but frankly she can argue all she wants but even after 11 months the effects are still showing."
"Eleven months later now, yeah even after 11 months you're still getting sick from those brats even thinking about it, but first them, and then Maybourne assaults you. You're beyond scared of these brats and can't control the reaction, so as far as I'm concerned here. They can argue all they want right now, you're not going back, as the little bastards are out of their minds. It's an inferiority complex, combined with erotomania now, something I will not tolerate right now."
"Your PTSD is something I can take care of here, but I'm keeping a tight eye on that, if you keep getting sick from the mere thought of ever being around them. It just says they traumatized you so severely you can't handle being around military interrogators anymore. And, therefore, I'm never letting you go back ever again right now." Henderson said, running his hand through the hair at the back of his head and he nodded, and Jack swallowed hard then at the response.
As he hugged him tightly and he buried his head into his neck and MacGregor nodded gently then. 'Yep little boy trapped in an adult body here, still needs papa bear and always will, well he's safe now, but these brats crossed the line and one none of us in their parental age group. Are letting them get away with right now.' he thought sternly then to this. "What they think is nothing to my opinion here, because they have to follow orders like every other patient does."
"As such, they are level yellow, we're black here now, they can't order us to return you, but the attitude will not be tolerated, but clearly here. Is they were ignoring the sweat all over your face at their insistence of your staying there." he said and they started shaking in fear, realizing they had been, they didn't care, that he was sick at being there on the base. But they only cared about their safety, as the man went on sternly and she swallowed hard, realizing he didn't care.
About their fears, being as Daniel was all that mattered to him, his emotional state, his recovery, that came first over their own safety and screw their opinion, he was a doctor first then. "We just saw the accident, but you little brats deserved to be locked up right now, but this ship is locked out to officers like yourself, or is this now. Pretending you need him, because he's of better use being denied his real job, when he's of better use in being a trade marketer."
"You said it yourself, you only need him for translations, that's all you need him for, he can do that here, and send the translations to you, via computer." he said and they all went white. "Just like you're ignoring his PTSD, because you need his knowledge of her courts. Well same thing, we're ignoring your safety for the sake of his emotional state. You can argue all you want, we know what you're trying to do, the answer is hell no." Henderson said and they started shaking.
"You know, this isn't about you, Henderson, it's a whole lot bigger than that." Jack said shaking, pretending it had to do with the Goa'uld and he crossed his arms. "Low blow there young man, trying to make this sound like it's about the safety of Earth here. Nice try you confessed you only need him for translations and to keep from making fools of yourselves." Hammond said and he went pale at his remark, realizing they caught his attempted blackmail.
"Agreed, that's very low blow right now young man, but Isn't that the argument you would use on Johnny Shepard right now, if he just found out, that he could use it fluently?" he asked and they all paled, realizing they got caught at that in fear. "Trying to make this sound like it's about the safety of earth, that's a new low on your part you loser." Daniel said and he went white, knowing he didn't buy it, he wasn't stupid and he gave them one to many chances in his eyes.
"To you this is about your safety, but you're convinced they're system lord planets, oh no, no you walked into an Ancient trap. But it was your idea to follow me into the unknown, 1) and 2) if you showed even the slightest interest in what we do. Then you'd still be fully earthling and 3), if you just dropped it about Hathor, none of this would have happened. But right now, at this very second, whether I decide to go back or not, is really about me, my choice to that now."
"But not the same thing gentlemen, Beth needed him, because he could operate it independently without gene therapy. You're just trying to hold me hostage, not the same thing here right now, but frankly I had enough of your crap, you only need me to protect yourselves." Daniel said and he started shaking in fear. "Trying to make it sound like it's about the fight with the renegades, nice try not going to happen, you crossed a line there is no turning back from."
"We're enemies now, so why bother, the you I thought I knew never existed at all, you're an hallucination now, the team an hallucination. My real unit is right here, in this room, in two ways, you're nothing, but a front for MIS. Trying to control the program for your own sick game now." he asked and he went white in fear then, now realizing he made up his mind then, he was never coming back and they were trapped, the real team was himself, Teal'C, Cam and Vala.
And at that remark as Shepard, who walked in, in time to hear this, crossed his arms, as he leaned against the door, knowing this was a guilt trip then firmly. And with him then as to himself it had to do with his ability to use it fluently, but for Daniel now. This was trying to trap him and neither of them were having it anymore. "Better life here, we prefer the safety of being deepsea divers and pilots, and if their ships are here, done." Shepard said and Daniel nodded.
"Agreed, you get to pilot still, but you're working my side of the program and you can travel the galaxy, and this is safer, as it never gets you killed. As you train till you encounter the enemy right now, learn diplomatic skills and are surrounded by children." he said and Shepard nodded in agreement to that. "Yeah I prefer this to the Abydos cartouche right now, that cartouche is a death trap, give me a good old diplomatic mission anyday." he said to him gently, smiling then.
"So technically is he's the total reversal of Darryl Curtis, you're Soda, wanting the best for us, and we're Ponyboy himself, ton of potential, but knowing soon enough you have to let us go." Cam added and he nodded gently. "Five years guys, only 5 years and you're ready for your promotion to full colonel and your own team, and command now. I have to let you go and train the next quartet on the team, but though separated, remember everything I taught you now."
"As this is your first mission into archeology and a diplomatic meeting now, in dealing with the system lords and the quintet, as you met Morgan and Yoda already." he said and they nodded, smiling then gently. "Though the job looks fairly easy, do not let your guard down, before you walk into a trap and have to use your intellectual wits. To get out of the situation you got into, remember Harrison walking into that booby trap, that happens all the time here right now."
"So stay calm and examine it from another angle, okay." he said and Cam nodded smiling in relief he told him that. "And whatever you do don't start pushing buttons till you understand what the language barrier is trying to say here." Dixon said, taking a guess and he nodded gently. "Exactly the last trap I walked into resulted into a case of understanding what Thor was trying to tell us, the code was cracked, geometric shapes and the sequence to pi so 3.14159."
"And you had to draw the radius on the circle, and that unlocked you seeing him, as a Roswell Grey here right now. Takes time, patience and a clear mind in figuring out what you're looking at now." he said and Henderson chuckled and nodded gently. "So some of these puzzles are basically Advanced Math, English and Chemistry." Vala said and he nodded. "Exactly as for said book reference now is 1965, he'd be 49 now." he said and the young full soldiers nodded.
And with a gentle smile. "You both got a lot of potential here, just needing a guiding hand to make you beyond good, so this is your first meet and greet." Lou said and they smiled. "That's the Asgard, this is the Ancients, and most people never get enough in logic. Just to realize what they're seeing could be a mirror image, or better, your remark of infinitely not useful. It's not supposed to be, if one whatever is gold, the other silver, so not it." he said and she chuckled.
"But you need me, us to train you, but you guys are my baby brothers and sisters, so just follow my lead when you meet the races, Omac and Garshaw." he said and they nodded smiling gently at the title, 6 to 7 years younger, he was a skilled gate traveler. And to them they were in training and for 5 years till they left to the Pegasus galaxy. "Vala you're the expert of some of the planets we come across, at times I need your input, if Ra owned that planet at the time."
"Your symbiote is the minor of our former primary." Daniel said and she nodded smiling in understanding. "While Teal'C has the battle tactics of our primary enemy, very well I can do that, I spent 5 to 6 years under you, and I changed faster then ever right now." she said and he nodded, as he gave her hand a squeeze then. "At times the 4 of us pair off, so you're working with me at times, at times Teal'C, others with Cam, okay." he said and she nodded, smiling.
"Or rather why let go completely, we been together for 7 years, after you completed their training, you completed mine and 7 years. You're a 1 star, I'm a commander myself now, we both are, you trained us well clearly." Cam said and he smiled. "I understand, want to stay at my side as long as possible, I understand that Cam, you're like Will. You gained a chance to have your own command, but you feel safer under Landry and me." he said and they nodded.
"Yeah we do, why leave the safety net, but enjoy this while it lasts, but getting up to their last movie that was 15 years, so time to let go at when you're 50 yourself." he said and Daniel nodded smiling gently, as he patted his shoulder. "Side effects, at times your subordinates grow too attached, and never want to leave the nest, so enjoy being a team or crew while it lasts." Daniel said and Sarah nodded with a smile of affection at Cam gently and Teal'C smiled gently.
"Will I think, if Deanna and Tasha's grandmothers arrive here, we got your entire team, if we find Worf next." he said and Will nodded. "Yeah that and Data just finished completing his construction with Lal next to him, they just assembled into their gear now. But we have 6 of the 9 members of our tv show, and I'm just waiting for McCoy or just Spock to drop in now." he said and Jordan started laughing and nodded to him opinion and Jack swallowed as he said it.
"Let me ask you something, why'd you become involved in the Navy?" Jack said and Daniel said it sternly to him at that. "I think people who don't want to go deep sea diving' 'flying' are crazy." he said and Shepard said it with him. 'Nice effect, the SGA are run by civilians and we're less of a threat then the full military types are now.' Cam thought to this as he heard Jack's remark then he said it, knowing this was enough to them to try and guilt trip them both.
Into accepting the job, or returning, but no matter what the bastard said, the answer was still no, as their way gained more revenue then the SGC. And as the program had gone live now, they could sell their findings. "And I think people who don't want to go through the Stargate are equally as whacked. Now, if you can't give me a yes by the time we reach the time the mission is over, I don't even want you." he said and they both smiled then.
And they all paled, realizing like Daniel, Shepard was going to choose the same thing. "Fair enough, and the answer is still no, I'm enjoying my job here way too much. And my kid brothers are enjoying the job too much, they need me here, so keep trying to trap me. To stay yeah okay, fine, I'm effectively resigning from the SGC." he said and they all went pale, realizing that idea backfired as well, they could go to hell for all he cared now, he was never coming back.
And they were on their own, it didn't matter now much they debated this, the answer would always be no, and as Jordan and MacGregor both crossed their arms sternly then at this. "Yeah that's right you little brats, we don't care about your fears, after what you did to him. As his mental and emotional, physical, comes first, you did exactly as dad said never to do. And turned yourself and halfway now, but not his job, or their jobs, you should have common sense here."
"To know better, but our job is a craft, you went in there so arrogantly, thinking you can do this and without getting smacked, and look at yourselves, not even a has been now. You're a never was, so leave this to a man and the expert, as you, young lady. Are more at risk then we are, remember the animal behaviorists thoughts on bringing a woman along. On research operations into Gorilla country was a bad idea, why is that?" MacGregor asked and she went white in fear.
Realizing it was for this reason exactly, if they walked into a nomad village, and got drugged, and this would be the result right now. "His suggestion on you acting like anthropologist, during Simarka was to deliver a point, you're more at risk then we are. Because they see us as an equal, you're a second class citizen right now, dress and act like a man. We just never see you that way, because of history, these planets never studied the last 100 years here now."
"To them, nothing's changed, men were hunters, soldiers, doctors and scientists, woman are teachers, nurses and home makers. If you bothered to show even the slightest interest in our job, how we also seem to know anything about hunting game or fishing. You would not be in this position, but the fact you hadn't resulted in this, so you broke the rules right now. So now, you have to live with this, but if living in fear for the rest of your life, is what it takes now."
"Well then so be it, you pushed us and pushed us and now you pushed us too far, attack your own team mate, and here's the consequences gentlemen, young lady." MacGregor said sternly, leaning into the camera then and they started shaking violently in fear. And at their parents decisions, realizing they were going to scare some humility into them, till they gained humility. "But our relationship here buddy, but more then a simple patient in my eyes here now."
"That you're the son of my best friend, we maybe 20 years older since then, but nothing's changed here between us. You still need me for emotional support and recovery, so this was too easy between us now. But just how stupid does she think I am, I'm a medical doctor for the mind, I know her desperation. But examining her files, in knowing she over dosed on the Nembutal, no." Henderson said and she paled then, realizing they had her psyche reports now.
"West may claim she's fine, but these notes tell me differently, as Danny said, new team, new loyalties, he's not honor bound to hide their secrets. But what does this say, does it say suicide attempt, does it say electro shock therapy, isn't that what it says. Didn't this seem important for you to tell to somebody, you're willing to jeopardize the lives of all these people. To have someone here, who, in fact, could be mentally unstable?" he said, swinging his hand sternly.
At to their team, and West started shaking violently in fear, realizing he was completely screwed with them. "First O'neill and now Carter, to you they're sane, but to us, is the more crazy you are, the extreme the situations you seem to get into. And your officers are a certifiable whack-job, gentlemen, but 170.4 fathoms down here. And now we have a nutbag on our hands who can flip out and crack up down here." he said and they swallowed hard at that recriminations.
"You selected the team, that why didn't you tell the medical spec ops in both cases exactly, Jared in the second case, Louis in the first?" he said sternly and he swallowed hard then. "Didn't think it was pertinent, well that wasn't your call to make here, but I'm keeping a tight eye. On your officer when she comes here, but there is no, I repeat no, chance he will ever return. After what your bastard officers did to my baby boy." he said and they swallowed hard in fear then.
"Yeah Rob sent you his notes on her, and Jim's with them, what else would you be looking at with Daniel sitting next to you and Karen him now exactly. But you exchanging knowing looks after Eric's remark right now, knowing this exactly. But between now and that book/episode movie now, we don't know exactly what the heck was going on over there. And because we cut all contact, that whatever is, is having me treat her with extreme caution and stern-ness here."
"Like any normal security officer at the moment here, as that's not going to go down well right now with either you or me at the moment. With 5 men and 4 women in the habitat and she's the newbie who thought this would be video surveillance, not going in person now at the time." Barnes said sternly and she swallowed hard then, realizing she may have recovered physically, but the mental side effects were something, that they were watching for carefully here now.
"Well I been following their cases for years, him especially right now in truth here, he's had a few screws loose ever since Iraq, but at times you have no choice. You want the entire team getting captured and getting subjected to what they're doing to you?" he asked and they both went white in fear at that, realizing there's why Daniel threw it back in their faces. He had to do this alone to protect the troops and Cromwell looked at her sternly at the response then.
"And holding a grudge, because he was following the example of another team leader is no excuse. But there are alot of things we do, that we wish we could change, and sure as heck can't forget, but the whole concept. And of chain of command underminds the idea of free will, so as soldiers, we have to do some very awful stuff. Or following orders as we were trained to, it doesn't make it any easier and certainly doesn't make it right, but it does put the responsibility."
"On the people giving the orders, he's me 10 years ago, there is no damned excuse for this Captain." he said and she swallowed hard. "And to repeat this now, somebody dropped a dime on the incursion, you got hit, you went down. And I made a judgement call, in order to save the rest of the team." he said to him sternly then. "And I saw you take off and then I saw 4 months of my life disappear in some stinking Iraqi prison." Jack snapped at him angrily.
"I thought you were dead!" he said firmly at that that and he shouted it at him. "You thought wrong! What do you want? You want me to forgive you, is that it?" he asked and Cromwell nodded. "Yeah, I guess I do." he said to him and he said it. "Well, that's tough. What happened to 'nobody gets left behind?'?" he said and he activated the frozen telemetry. "Well, what about him?" he asked him sternly and pointed at the image then.
"That is a totally different scenario." he said and he said it forcefully. "That is the same damn thing, Jack, the exact same thing, you did it twice, you have absolutely. I mean absolutely no room to talk, as you did it twice in 2 years, this is the hardest part. And of being a commander, if you waited just a bit longer, he'd have gone to Cimmeria. And alerted you he was there, before you nearly get yourself arrested, again." he said sternly and he swallowed.
"But I always knew you had a sadistic and competitive streak in you, but I never thought you could be so cruel, as to use your record, on a man 10 years younger then we are. Just because he resisted her where you can't, it maybe different techniques, but he did it. And you snap out of jealousy, well you losing half your genomes is a small price to pay now. For using your black ops training against your own men, get over it." he said and he went white in fear then.
"But I'll tell you this much, touch him like that again, and I'll cut it off, so keep your hands to yourself, you little bastard!" he snapped, and promptly switched off the radio, as they watched him shaking, now seeing everything he done. Over the last two years now, had even their non SGC peers absolutely disgusted with him. "On Earth or not, it's the exact same thing, exact same thing, and till he accepts this, he's trapped." Henderson said and he swallowed hard.
"Dillon, Adam, if he keeps getting sick at the mere thought of being around that little bastard and his accomplice, all it says is they traumatized him so severely. He can't take being around military interrogators anymore, therefore he's never going back ever again." he said and they both nodded. "Agreed and with that, the little shit needs to accept here, just because he's in military intelligence, it doesn't mean he can't do everything he wants, there are rules here."
"Danny, you did the right thing, by waiting till you're 3/4's healed, you knew this: to them your age group are teenagers, so best to wait and do this yourself. But you had orders by us, those orders, if they can't handle it, they can take it up with us." Dillon said, seeing the image, as he and Adam came in, knowing exactly what they just reviewed. And she and Jack started shaking violently in fear, he had orders, and they were trying to get him reported, but no in their eyes.
"He just showed us the accident, and having it matching the episode entirely, says it clearly, he found the pills after sorting through her bag, and preparing to destroy their GDO's. His being the master one, and 27 of 80 pills missing, before asking about attempted by over dose. Philippe said that it just puts it to deep REM sleep rather, then death." he said and Adam crossed his arms. "Yes indeed, that's a good reason to report her." Dillon said and he nodded gently.
"Issues in the side effects, I'm through looking through a sniper scope and back to looking in a microscope now again, forensic archeology, and to answer what a leper is. It's a disease infested person, a lot of people marginalize now, afraid to get infected by said disease. The darkside of Mycenae was a leper colony." he said and Teal'C nodded in understanding. "Had that exchange, after Melosha came down with it." Teal'C said and Hammond nodded in understanding then.
"Well did the little brats ever consider the possibility, you're forensic archeology, you're faster to spot it then they are?" Adam asked and Jack swallowed hard at that. "Between this, Kynthia and then the sole cause of why the linvris died, it became abundantly clear. That your skill in forensics was a life saver, hence you coming to the conclusion that fast. When Teal'C got infected with the damn thing." Hammond added and Vala looked at him in amazement then.
"Is that what the problem was, they wanted out as soon as possible, but you, as the medical team, told him to take his time and keep his head down?" Vala asked and he nodded sternly then. "With what we just saw the damage was so bad, it would take 4 months to recover from this right now, a simple meet and greet on the blue side.
