The Emperor Strikes Back
Note: We've made it to the final battle. I plan on making this epic and I will allude to a few different movies and shows.
Witch's Duel
The sun started to rise as the RATs were all assembled in front of the Owl House with Luz and her friends standing in front of Hooty. Luz stood at the front of the group as she looked at them, double checking to make sure that everything was ready.
Luz looked at her friends as she asked, "Is everything ready?"
Amity smiled with determination as she said, "Oh yeah! All our forces are armed and ready for battle!"
Luz turned to the Collector and curiously asked, "Collector, did you do that think I asked you?"
The Collector smiled and nodded as he happily said, "Uh huh. That toy you got from that island is ready to play."
Camila smiled as she placed a hand on Luz's shoulder and said, "Mija, before we go I think you should give a speech to everyone."
Eda agreed as she said, "Your mom's right kid. Inspire the troops."
Luz nodded as she turned and smiled proudly at their army as they all awaited her orders while she took a few steps toward them.
Luz smiled sincerely as she held her staff and said, "Everyone, I want to thank for standing by me today. Now we can stop Belos and save the demon realm together! Now let's go!"
Everyone cheered until Hooty stretched himself out of the front door and happily exclaimed, "Hoot hoot! Hold your snorses! The Collector and I have planned a little surprise for Belos' army! Ready?"
The Collector was in Eda's room in the Owl House as he smiled and said, "Ready!"
Hooty pulled himself back into the door and everyone watched with curiosity, while the Collector focuses his power and held his hands out. The entire Owl House started shaking as Hooty smiled excitedly and everyone watched in awe as a big shadow was cast over them.
Lilith was almost speechless as she stared in amazement and said, "Hootsifer…"
Eda smiled in delight as she said, "Oh, this is gonna be good!"
Later in the chest of the Titan
Belos, Zul and their forces had already arrived and established themselves as the had constructed an enormous tower where the castle once stood. The tower was as tall as Belos' old castle and was thick and sturdy, it also had a large spiral staircase in the interior that led all the way to the top. Many Coven Scouts and Guards had secured the perimeter of the chasm surrounding the tower, while Abamatons were guarding the base of the tower. The bridge was retracted and they had constructed a large outer wall near the edges of the island, protecting the tower. There were more Abomatons standing on towers holding the walls together, staring out as they watched for invaders. More witches and demons stood in between as they kept watchful eyes for any signs of trouble or threats to their plans. There were also dozens of airships flying around the airspace of the fortress and tower as they patrolled for aerial attacks. At the top of the tower was a round base and the Galdorstones were set up on pillars arranged in a circle around it. There were also nine circles in the base that had different colors and a pedestal was in the middle, which King was strapped two using Terra's vines. Terra, Odalia, and Graye stood around the pedestal as they looked down at him with twisted smiles while Vitimir stood with them and stared down at King too.
King tried to break free but couldn't as he desperately struggled and demanded, "Let me go! Let me go!"
Terra had a twisted smile on her face as she said, "I'm sorry seed, but we can't have you running off until the moon rises."
They all looked at Bill, who stood behind them and pointed at King as he evilly said, "Yes, but don't worry, it will be over soon. Once the Amplifying Spell is complete we'll finally slay you and the Collector will bestow glory upon us."
King looked nervous and then Bill left as he proceeded down the tower, then Terra caressed King and said, "Don't worry seed, I won't let him harm you."
Belos and Zul came as Belos seriously said, "Do not celebrate yet. I want you all to help the others fortify our defenses. Luz and her allies will undoubtedly try to stop us. We must hold them off until nightfall. When the moon rises you will all return and we will activate the Amplifying Spell, enhancing all of our powers so that we may reign over all of the demon realm."
Odalia smiled evilly as she said, "Of course Belos. It will be done."
They all left and proceeded down the staircase to join the others, and when they were gone Belos smiled evilly and so did Zul.
Zul smiled at Belos as she arrogantly said, "Nice going dad. You're a way better scammer than Eda ever was."
Belos smiled proudly as he shamelessly said, "The trick is to say everything they want to hear and flatter them. They are pathetically easy to fool."
King glared at them both as he defiantly exclaimed, "You'll never get away with this! Luz and Eda will stop you, just like last time!"
Belos smiled at King as he deviously said, "Your faith in them is cute, but misplaced. We're counting on them trying to stop us, they'll bring us exactly what we need."
Zul also smiled evilly as she arrogantly said, "And besides, last time dad didn't have me, so things will be different this time."
Suddenly Zul turned her head with a curious expression as she heard something and said, "Hey do you hear something?"
They all heard the noise, it sounded like a stomping sound and everyone in Belos' army turned to the forest in front of the chasm. They saw trees move as Luz's army arrived with many different surprises and impressive weapons and beasts. The army consisted of the Titan Protectors, the students, teachers, and guards from Hexside along with Bump, and many other witches and demons. Bump was sitting on his staff as he floated over everyone from Hexside and glared at Belos' army with bravery. Kikimora sat in her chair on her hand dragons back as it flew down and landed before the dragon roared ferociously. Gwendolyn and Dell were riding on the Stonesleeper as it roared, and the Bat Queen flew in the air and hovered in place. Boscha and her Grudgby team had flaming balls while the Emerald Entrails had their staffs, though Viney was riding Puddles and Skara also had a harp. The basilisks slithered onto the field as they shrieked and roared, ready to fight, and Wrath joined them as he roared and breathed fire. Osran, Mason, and Hettie stood at the front of the army as they banded together and glared at the army protecting the tower. The most noticeable thing was at the back of the army; the Owl House came stomping forward with two giant bird legs, like when Luz, Willow, and Gus animated it with their conjuring.
Hooty smiled happily as he exclaimed, "Look at me! I'm a mobile home!"
Luz and her friends and family were in Eda's room as they looked out the stained glass window with eager expressions. With Luz were Eda, Raine, Camilla, Hunter, Vee, Lilith, Darius, Eberwolf, Edric, Emeria, Amity, Willow, Gus, and all of their fathers. The Collector was also in the room as he floated over them with his arms out as a glowing blue aura surrounded his body.
He was using his power to make Hooty walk as he happily said, "I'm taking the Owl House for a joyride!"
Luz smiled with joy as she said, "Yeah, just like old times."
Belos smiled arrogantly as he said, "So this is Luz's big plan. Valiant but in vain."
He then created a giant illusion of himself over the tower and looked at the army as he smiled and said, "Hello Luz. I'm so glad you could make it. It wouldn't be the same without you here to witness my moment of triumph."
In the Owl House, Luz glared with hatred while Belos held his hand out and continued, "I must admit I am impressed that you managed to amass such an army within a night, but I'm afraid it will do you no good. Attack!"
Belos' forces on the other side of the chasm yelled in fury as they prepared to battle and Luz yelled, "Alright everyone, let's do this thing!"
Hooty excitedly yelled, "Hooooot!"
The armies ran at each other and started fighting while Hooty ran, the ground shaking with every step he took. He ran at the front of their army and took the lead as he started fighting some Coven Scouts and Guards easily. He kicked a few and sent them flying, then he stomped on some Abominations that a few Scouts made and splattered them. Hooty stretched his body out of the front door and lashed himself at some Coven Scouts and knocked them away.
He then vomited up a huge owl pellet that fell on top of a Coven Guard, then he happily yelled, "This is so great! I can jump for joy!"
He then jumped high in the air and when he landed on his feet he caused a small earthquake that knocked a bunch of other guys off their feet.
Inside Eda's room, Luz smiled as she yelled, "Nice job Hooty! Keep it up! Everyone else, fight!"
The rest of their army ran past Hooty and started fighting Belos other forces with their magic, skills, and ferocity.
Belos and Zul watched the battle from the top of the tower as Zul showed doubt while turning to Belos as she said, "That army is actually pretty cool. Should we get down there and stop them?"
Belos had his eyes narrowed with a serious expression as she said, "No! That's what Luz wants us to do! We must stay here and be ready for their arrival."
Zul nodded and looked back at the battle while King showed fear and softly said, "Come on Luz. You can do it."
Hooty kept walking while some Coven Guards shot blasts of magic at him, but he lashed his body out and knocked them aside. The eight Demon Hunters showed up and glared at Hooty as they prepared to attack the Owl House, but Gwendolyn and Del came in front of them on the Stonesleeper. Gwendolyn's eyes glowed orange as she held her staff out and made the Stonesleeper attack them as it charged forward while roaring. Kikimora rode her hand dragon as it flew over the army and swung its tail and knocked around several Coven Scouts and Guards. Her hand dragon landed and roared when it was muzzled by some Abomination slime, controlled by a Coven Scout. Kikimora then raised the finger covering her eye and shot a beam of magic and blasted the Coven Scout away.
She lowered her finger and smiled as she proudly said, "Maybe now I'll get more respect!"
The Hexside students fought a bunch of Coven Scouts as Boscha and her team nailed them with flaming Grudgby balls. Boscha then pulled out a potion and threw it at a Coven Guard, and the potion exploded and blasted him away. Viney was riding Puddles as she attacked a Coven Guard and mauled him, then Jerbo used his Plant-Abomination to attack two Coven Guards. Barcus ran on all fours as he threw a potion from his mouth that released spirits that attacked several Coven Scouts. Skara flew on her staff and crashed into one Coven Scout, knocking him out, then she played her harp and sent a sonic wave out that blasted a Coven Guard down. Matt used Construction Magic to make large rocks rise out of the ground and hit a Coven Guard, knocking him out. Another Coven Guard came at Matt from behind but Steve blasted him with magic and knocked him away before joining his younger brother. Bria, Gavin, and Angmar joined the battle as they used their magics to defeat several Coven Guards together before cheering. Wrath transformed his arms into tentacles and used them to ensnare several Scouts and threw them away as he roared. Tinella Nosa yelled in fury as she shot a powerful ray of magic that blasted three Coven Guards away. Everyone kept fighting valiantly as they all started to defeat the Coven Scouts and Guards while Hooty walked through the crowd. Two airships flew down in front of the Owl House and the Scouts aboard started firing magical blasts at the house. Hooty moved his body around to dodge some of the blasts but they were starting to overwhelm him as he looked nervous.
Eda glared daggers as she fiercely yelled, "Hooty, yard work!"
Hooty obeyed as he made spikey plants rise out of the chunk of ground connected to the Owl House and he swung those plants at the airships, popping them and sending them crashing down. The Scouts on board those airships got up and made rings of light with their fingers and aimed at Hooty.
Lilith then urgently yelled, "Hootsifer, empty yourself!"
Hooty then made a large pipe come out of the earth under the house and aimed it at the Coven Scouts before spewing out a vast amount of filth.
Hooty washed the Coven Scouts away smiled as he happily said, "Yeah! I've been holding that in for months!"
Camila looked disgusted as she said, "I'm not gonna ask what he just shot."
They started shaking inside the house as Hooty happily danced and said, "Hoo-hoo-hoot! I'm a secret weapon!"
One Coven Guard pointed at Hooty and fiercely yelled, "That fowl creature must be destroyed!"
Hooty was not bothered as he smiled and said, "Yeah I get that a lot."
He then started walking again as he approached the platform where the bridge would connect to but some of Belos forces moved to stop him. Four Coven Guards combined construction magic to crate a giant golem as big as the walking Owl House as it clinched its fists. It punched the Owl House and made it slide back before Hooty regained his footing and glared at the stone golem.
In Eda's room, Luz urgently yelled, "Hooty, take it down!"
Hooty then ran at the stone golem and dodged its fists as it tried to punch him, and then he kicked it with each leg. He then jumped in the air and landed on top of the stone golem and smashed it to pieces, prompting the Coven Guards to run away in fear.
Hooty stretched his head out as he happily exclaimed, "Hoot hoot! I'm a fortress of impregnable power!"
On top of the tower, Zul watched with an annoyed expression as she shut her eyes and complained, "Hooty's always finds a way to be annoying."
Belos also showed an annoyed expression as he watched and said, "That bird-tube will not stop us from completing our mission."
Hooty walked over to where the bridge would connect to before he stopped and Luz urgently yelled, "Okay everyone this is it!"
She held her staff and then Lilith, Amity, Willow, Gus, Eda, and Raine got their staffs ready with eager expressions.
Hunter looked at Waffle and smiled as he asked, "You ready?"
Waffle happily chirped before changing to her staff form and then Hooty opened the stained glass window and they all flew out. Camila and the others stayed behind and watched them fly as Luz led the way across the chasm and they approached the retractable bridge. Some Abomatons aimed cannons at them and blasted Abomination slime at them but they dodged the blasts and fearlessly kept flying. Luz swung her staff and sent out a purple wave of magic that knocked them back before she flew over to the lever. She pulled the lever and made the bridge extend all the way out to the other side, allowing Hooty and the others to cross the chasm.
Luz then excitedly waved her hand for them to come and said, "Come on everybody!"
Hooty was the first to cross before the rest of their army ran across the bridge while Luz and the others used their staffs to fend off Abomatons and protect the lever. Before long the entire army made it over and Hooty stomped on a couple of Abomatons and crushed them under his feet. Belos' forces across the chasm pursued the army to try and stop them but they managed to fend them off before they started attacking the outer walls.
Zul started to get nervous as she looked at Belos and said, "Dad…"
Belos looked vexed but remained calm as he said, "A minor annoyance. Our forces will deal with them and we will have our victory."
They kept watching and noticed Alador, Darius, Eberwolf, Edric, Emira, Vee, and Camila jumped out of the front door of the Owl House. They all immediately joined the battle with their magics while Camila held a baseball bat and swung it at one Coven Scout, knocking him out.
Zul was surprised as she said, "I'm not so sure."
The Collector stayed in the Owl House as he kept using his power to help Hooty walk as he crushed more Abomatons under his feet. Darius created a large Abomination of his design and made it fight two Coven Guards as it grabbed them and slammed them together. Eberwolf made orange circles of light as he summoned a manticore and crab spider, which started attacking the Coven Guards. His eyes glowed orange as he snarled and summoned some fire bees that started chasing Coven Scouts as they screamed in fear. Mason ran at an Abomaton and smashed it with his mallet, Hettie telekinetically moved two saws and chopped another Abomaton, and Osran held his crystal ball and made purple arms of energy smash two more Abomatons. Alador put his goggles on and made Abomination slime come out of the tank on his back and made them form arms that smashed several other Abomatons. Vee led the basilisks as they drained some Coven Guards of their magic before growing bigger and sprouting sharp claws and teeth. They roared ferociously as they attacked some more Abomatons and destroyed them as Abomination goo went everywhere. Eda changed into her harpy form as she flew in the air and swung her staff at some Coven Scouts, then she kicked one Coven Guard away.
Luz and her friends landed and looked at the others as she smiled and said, "Great job everyone! So far so good! Now we just need to get in there and save King!"
The Abomatons on top of the outer wall started firing their cannons down at the army and they all had to take cover to avoid being hit.
Darius expressed frustration as he yelled, "We'll never get over that wall!"
Lilith smiled as she looked at the Owl House and said, "We don't have to. Hootsifer, would you be a dear and make us a door?"
Hooty smiled excitedly as he ran as fast as he could while exclaiming, "Anything for you Lulu! Hooooooot!"
Everyone cleared him a path as Hooty ran toward the wall as fast as he could and smashed a hole through it. The hole was huge and as he stood in it everyone in Luz's army flooded the interior of the fortress and saw the rest of Belos' forces. There were many more Coven Scouts, Guards, and Abomatons, as well as Bill and his Titan Trappers and many other witches and demons.
Luz held her staff out as she yelled, "Charge!"
Everyone charged into battle while Belos watched on top of the tower and angrily yelled, "Destroy them!"
Belos' army charged into battle as they prepared to fend off the invaders while Belos and Zul both looked vexed. Belos then looked up at the sun and noticed that it was already noon and though they still had a long time until sundown the day was going by fast.
Belos smiled as he put his arm around Zul and happily said, "Time flies when you're having fun."
Zul smiled in agreement as she glanced at King before looking down at the battle and focusing on Luz as she flew through the air.
She floated in front of the Owl House as she smiled at Hooty and said, "Hooty, Collector, release King's present!"
Hooty smiled eagerly as he opened the front door and out of the Owl House came Jean-Luc, the creature that guarded King in the ruins where he hatched. He jumped down and joined the battle as he morphed his hand into an axe blade and cut up two Abomatons. A couple of Coven Scouts shot magical blasts at him but he swiftly moved on the ground like a spider and hurried to them before hitting them and knocking them out.
Belos was surprised as he asked, "What is that thing?"
Zul was vexed as she glared and said, "That's Jean-Luc. This thing that King's dad made to protect him in the ruins where he was born."
King overheard them and happily exclaimed, "Yeah! That's my minion!"
Zul glared at him out of the corner of her eye while Belos smiled arrogantly and said, "No matter, even that won't change anything."
Luz smiled as she watched Jean-Luc fight many enemies and she showed a determined expression as she and her friends joined the fight. She landed and fought beside her friends as they faced Abomatons, Coven Scouts, and Coven Guards. Hunter held his staff out as he shot magical blasts that knocked down three Coven Guards while Amity magically lashed Abomination goo like a whip at another Coven Guard. Willow's eyes glowed green as she held both her hands out and made roots destroy an Abomaton, then Gus used an illusion to trick a Coven Scout before hitting him with his staff and knocking him out. Vee stood on her hands as she snarled and then drained a Coven Guard of his magic, then her eyes glowed orange as she used Beast Keeping Magic to summon some flying beast demons that attacked some Coven Scouts. Luz fired a purple magical blast from her staff that destroyed one Abomaton, then she reached into her bag and pulled out a few potions.
She threw them at Coven Guards and they exploded and blasted them back, then she held the magic amplifier and created two illusions of herself and used them to trick two Coven Scouts. They destroyed the illusions before Luz swung her staff and sent a purple wave of magic that blasted them both back. She held her amulet with two fingers and made a giant purple hand of energy come out and punch one Titan Trapper. Luz reached into her bag and pulled out some trash slug eggs and threw them in front of a couple Coven Guards. The eggs hatched and the trash slugs looked at the guards, who laughed as they pointed at the trash slugs until Luz gave them a bunch of treats. The trash slugs ate the treats and grew much larger while Luz smiled and concentrated her power as her eyes glowed orange and she used Beast Keeping Magic.
She pointed at the Coven Guards and yelled, "Sick em!"
The trash slugs obeyed Luz as they attacked the guards while roaring and the Coven Guards screamed in fear before running away.
At the top of the tower, Zul watched with hatred as she said, "So Luz does have magic after all."
Belos was vexed but remained calm as he said, "It does not matter."
Raine flew on their staff as they approached a few Titan Trappers and then whistled, sending out a sonic blast that knocked them down. Bill showed up with a bunch of other Titan Trappers, but Tarak got in their way with his Titan Protectors.
Bill glared at him as he hatefully said, "Tarak! You traitor!"
Tarak pointed at Bill as he angrily said, "You deceived us Bill! You lied to us to serve your own selfish needs! Now we will bring you to justice and save the last Titan!"
Bill held a spear a he fiercely said, "We'll see about that!"
He and his Titan Trappers charged forward while Tarak and his Titan Protectors did the same as they all yelled in fury and battled. Principal Bump fought with the Teachers and guards from Hexside as they fought off Coven Scouts and Guards when suddenly Faust magically appeared in a huge flame.
He glared at Bump as he said, "Bump! I see you learned nothing from me when I was principal of Hexside!"
Bump held his staff out toward Faust as he spitefully said, "That's because you were a terrible teacher!"
Faust then angrily threw fireballs at Bump, but he dodged the and swung his staff out as he shot a magical blast, but Faust blocked it with a force-field. While they kept fighting Emira used Healing Magic to heal some injured students while Edric threw some potions at Coven Scouts, then Batric flew at one Coven Scout and attacked him. He knocked him down before flying and landing on Edric's shoulder as he smiled proudly, then they all ran to keep fighting. The Bat Queen flew over the crowd as she spit webs from her mouth that trapped over a dozen Coven Scouts and Guards as they were pinned to the ground. Suddenly four Abomatons stretched their arms out and grabbed the Bat Queen, restraining her as they slammed her on the ground, but Hunter teleported in front of her and Lilith landed in front of her. Lilith swung her staff and broke the Abomatons' arms while Hunter swung his staff and sent out a wave of magic that destroyed the Abomatons. The Bat Queen gratefully at them before Hunter flew off on his staff while Lilith watched with pride in her eyes. He was flying when Flora flew in front of him on a griffin and lashed her whip out; she lassoed Hunter's waist and yanked him off his staff as he screamed in terror. Lilith and Darius saw this as they watched in fear as Flora held Hunter while Waffle changed to her bird form and flew to try and help him.
Flora smiled wickedly as she said, "You, Lilith, and Kiki all have one thing in common, you were all too weak for the Emperor's Coven!"
She prepared to finish him while Lilith watched and gritted her teeth as her eyes started changing color and Darius started changing too. Flora kept riding on her griffin as she prepared to kill Hunter when her griffin was hit from the side and knocked into the outer wall. Flora dropped Hunter and he fell as he screamed in distress until something flew by and caught him. He was being carried by his upper arms as he looked up and was amazed to see Lilith flying as a harpy like Eda. Her harpy form looked almost identical to Eda's but her body was darker and she looked to be wearing a long black dress that resembled the one she wore in the Emperor's Coven. She had a black kite-shaped gem on her chest and her arms and legs were dark red while her thighs were grey. Her wings were also raven-like with the edges black and feathers dark red and her hair was the same length and color that it normally was and she smiled with pride as she flew.
Hunter kept staring at her in awe as he said, "Lilith?"
She gently set him down on the ground as she proudly said, "Sharing my sister's curse does have some benefits."
Flora was sitting on her griffin as it landed in front of Hunter and Lilith and Flora smiled arrogantly and said, "An exciting trick my little bookworm, but it won't help you."
She prepared to lash her whip when she was hit by Abomination goo and knocked off of the griffin, which flew away now free. Flora fell to the ground and looked to see Darius in his Abomination form as he moved over and joined Hunter and Lilith.
Darius smiled at Lilith as he said, "That's a good look for you Lilith."
She showed a flattered smile as she graciously said, "I owe it all to Hootsifer."
Waffle returned to Hunter and changed back to her staff form as he held her with a smile on his face before glancing at Lilith and Darius.
Darius glared fiercely at Flora as he said, "If you want Hunter you'll have to go through us first!"
Lilith glared at Flora, who lashed her whip with a vexed expression, then Darius formed a sword of Abomination goo in his hand. Lilith took flight while Darius moved beside her at highspeed and they both attacked Flora and fought her while Hunter watched with a warm smile. He watched them both clobber Flora together and then Hunter turned and swung his staff through the air as he sent four yellow blasts of magic out. He hit two Coven Scouts and two Coven Guards and knocked them down before flying off, at the top of the tower Belos and Zul watched with vexed expressions.
Zul kept watching as she said, "So Lilith has a harpy form too and Hunter has a new Palisman."
Belos showed disappointment as he said, "Such a shame."
Back on the ground, Camila fought a few witches and demons with her bat when an Abomaton came behind her. Eda flew down and landed on top of it, crushing it, then she smiled at Camila who showed gratitude, then they were joined by Luz, Hunter, Vee, Willow, Amity, and Gus. Together they easily fended off a bunch of Coven Scouts and Guards and smiled proudly until they heard a noise. They turned and watched a bunch of roots rise out of the ground with something within them, then they unwrapped to reveal Terra, Graye, Vitimir, and Odalia.
Odalia pointed at Luz as she angrily said, "You! Human! You have something that belongs to me!"
Luz was ready to defend herself but Amity immediately stepped in front of her, glaring daggers as she said, "Stay away from my girlfriend!"
Odalia was very annoyed as she said, "Mittens, are you trying to disappoint me?"
Everyone stood their ground and then they were joined by Raine as they glared at Odalia and the three bad Coven Heads.
Terra smiled with interest as she said, "I think they're serious."
Odalia gritted her teeth and then pointed at them as she yelled, "Fine! Take them down!"
Graye made illusions of himself while Terra made thorned roots grow out of the ground and Vitimir released magical gas. Odalia then pulled out a remote and summoned six Abomatons and made them attack the group as they fired cannons. Willow raised a wall of roots to block the blast, then she lowered them and the two groups charged at each other yelling in fury.
At the top of the tower, Zul smiled sinisterly as she said, "This should be good."
Belos smiled in agreement as he looked up at the sky and said, "Yes and it should make time go by much faster."
He saw the position of the sun and noticed it was already in the afternoon and smiled as they were getting closer to night. Willow made two rings of green light with her hands as she made leafy tendrils rise out of the ground and attacked Terra. Terra made a small ring of green light with her finger and stopped them before moving her other finger and making a large tree rise up in front of Willow. It swung its branches at her and knocked her to the ground, Terra stood over Willow with a triumphant smile until Eda flew at her and knocked her away.
Eda hovered in the air as she glared at Terra, who stood up with an evil grin and said, "You certainly are a rebellious one."
Eda clinched her fist as she impatiently said, "Cut the small talk! Where's King?! If you hurt him in any way…"
Terra smiled sadistically as she said, "My child is perfectly fine. He's up there, awaiting the return of his dear mother."
Eda angrily pointed her thumb at herself as she said, "He's MY kid! I raised him and he's a Clawthorne!"
Terra remained sadistic as she taunted, "The young Titan deserves a better caretaker, one who can teach him and raise him to be strong and powerful. And King Snapdragon does sound much better."
Eda kept hovering as she glared at Terra before smiling snidely as she pointed at her while saying, "I'm King's mother and I'll never let anyone take him! Besides, you look more like someone's grandmother."
Terra was insulted as she glared at Eda then held both her hands out as she made a large Venus flytrap rise out of the ground as she stood in its mouth. Then she made long powerful leaves stretch toward Eda, but she slashed her talons and cut them to pieces before flying toward Terra. Meanwhile, Gus faced Graye on his own as Graye's illusions surrounded Gus to try and confuse him, but Gus made a big blue ring of light and made the illusions vanish, revealing the real Graye.
Graye was not deterred as he smiled arrogantly and said, "This makes for a good climax, but do you really think you have what it takes to play with the big boys."
Gus smiled as he stood on his staff and then made two blue rings appear in front of his hands as he said, "Oh, I've got some tricks up my sleeves."
He then made four illusions of himself and they all flew around Graye while he stayed in place with an unamused expression.
He had his hands behind his back as he boredly said, "Your cheap tricks won't work on me."
Suddenly all five of them flew straight toward Graye and slammed into him from every direction as he cried in pain.
He fell to his knees and looked up as he asked, "How did you do that?! No illusionist can do that!"
Gus smiled as he showed him his medallion and said, "I'm combining Illusion Magic with Oracle Magic, they may not be real but they do hurt."
Two of the other Guses flew at Graye and slammed into him one at a time as he let out cries of pain before glaring.
He then threw his arms out and made the other Guses disappear before glaring at Gus and said, "They may feel real but they're still illusions, which means I can remove them."
Gus showed a serious expression as he held his medallion and created a magical illusion of Vee and made it attack Graye and pin him down. Graye's eyes glowed blue as he made the fake Vee disappear, and then he stood up just when they were joined by a bunch of Coven Guards. Gus used Oracle Magic to create giant arms of purple energy and swung them at the guards, but they disappeared as they were only illusions. Gus was shocked when suddenly Darius came and punched him to the ground with a smug grin on his face. Gus got up and held his staff as he kept fighting while Graye smiled arrogantly and made rings of blue light. Meanwhile Luz, Hunter, and Vee faced Vitimir together as he snarled at them before opening his mouth and spewing a potion at them. They dodged it, except Vee as she drank it and absorbed the magic from it, then she was able to spew more of the potion at Vitimir.
He dodged it and showed a vexed expression while Luz happily cheered, "Vee, way to spray it not say it!"
Vitimir then reached up his sleeves and pulled out some vials, he mixed together several different ingredients before shaking a bottle around. He threw the bottle at them and Hunter teleported in a yellow flash and got Luz and Vee out of the way. The potion hit the ground and caused a huge explosion that knocked Luz, Hunter, and Gus to the ground. They got up and saw Vitimir standing in front of them as he threw another potion at them, but Luz waved her finger and made it stop in midair. A red aura surrounded the potion as Luz smiled deviously and telekinetically made it fly back at Vitimir, but he ducked. The potion hit a wall behind him and melted a huge hole in it, but Vitimir snarled angrily before he used his Potion Magic to make glowing yellow liquid fly at them. Luz slammed the bottom of her staff on the ground and made a purple force-field around herself, Hunter, and Vee. The force-field protected them and she dropped it as she smiled proudly while Hunter and Vee stood beside her with similar expressions. They kept fighting Vitimir while Amity faced her mother as Odalia used her remote to control the Abomatons. She made two of them attack Amity as they morphed their hands into axe blades and swung them at her, but she protected herself with a shield of Abomination goo. She then made the goo form two swords of and she stabbed the Abomatons through their chests, deactivating them. Odalia grunted in anger before making another Abomaton attack Amity, but she covered her hand with Abomination slime and made it form a mallet. She jumped and yelled in fury as she smashed the Abomaton's head with her hand-mallet before the Abomination goo flowed back into her bottle. She held her staff in her hands and waved it as she made a bunch of Abomination goo fly through the air and knock three Abomatons down.
Amity then glared at her mother as she said, "You are the worst mother ever! You wanted me to be just like you but I'm better than you because I have friends who help make me better! I'm stronger than you because I make my own choices and fight my own battles!"
Odalia became enraged as she reached into her pocket and said, "Is that so?"
She then pulled out a small bead and clinched it in her fist as it glowed with purple magic, then Amity was startled as she was lifted in the air and trapped in a force-field.
Odalia smiled evilly as she said, "Your girlfriend did not take away all of my power. Now it's time for you to learn a little respect for mama."
The force-field holding Amity started getting smaller and she looked nervous as it threatened to crush her. Odalia kept smiling when suddenly Camila jumped behind her and swung her bat at her and knocked her down. Amity was freed from the force-field as she landed on her feet and watched as Camila pointed her bat at Odalia on the ground.
She glared at her as she hatefully said, "You know, when Amity told me about you I hoped she was mostly talking out of hurt, but she's right! You are a monster!"
Odalia glared at her angrily as she made an Abomaton grab Camila from behind and hold her in place as Camila dropped her bat.
Odalia got back up and glared daggers at Camila as she hatefully said, "You are definitely Luz's mother! Your daughter has been a thorn in my side and you are just as annoying!"
Before she could do anything else Odalia was hit by an Abomination fist and knocked away from Camila and she looked to see Amity in front of her. Amity's entire body was completely covered in Abomination goo as she almost looked like she had turned into one, like Darius could do.
Amity stood protectively in front of Camila as she hatefully said, "In my time in the human realm, Camila was a better mother to me in one month than you were my entire life!"
Odalia stared at Amity with a stunned and intimidated expression as she said, "Mittens?"
Amity smiled with pride and triumph as she said, "Something I learned with a little help from my friends!"
Amity then threw a big glob of Abomination goo at Odalia and the glob hit her and smacked her into the wall as it stuck her to it with her head, arms, and legs sticking out of it. She was trapped and could not get off the wall as she glared at Amity with a vexed expression before Amity left to fight some Abomatons.
Luz looked at Amity and blushed as she happily shouted, "I love that look hermosa!"
Luz then turned her attention back to Vitimir as he waved his hands and made magical liquid fly out of a large bottle he had. The potion hit Hunter and Vee and trapped them both in ice as it covered their bodies as their eyes glanced around in fear. Vitimir smiled evilly until Luz slid in front of Vee and Hunter and pulled a special potion out of her bag and held it in her hand.
She stared at Vitimir with a fierce expression as she said, "Here's a nice little recipe I learned from Eda and Ed!"
She threw the potion at Vitimir and it hit him and transformed him into a monster while Luz held her staff out and shot a magical purple blast that freed Vee and Hunter. They all watched as Vitimir grew and became a terrifying monster with buff arms and razor-sharp claws and teeth while his shoes ripped to reveal his clawed toes. He roared viciously as he started attacking everything insight while exhaling gas everywhere, and he destroyed a few Abomatons.
Vee was amazed as she watched and asked, "What was that?"
Luz smiled proudly as she said, "Horrifying transformation serum."
Vitimir roared before glaring at Luz, Vee, and Hunter as he prepared to attack them as Hunter nervously asked, "Any chance you thought this through?"
Luz had a sly grin on her face as she reached in her bag and said, "Oh yeah. Watch this."
She pulled out a blue potion and threw it at Vitimir, and it exploded and covered him in a huge mound of snow. He climbed out of the snow with a dizzy expression before looking nauseous as he got on his knees and puked.
Luz smiled at Vee and Hunter as she said, "Side affect of the serum. He'll be fine. Come on let's go."
She ran off as Hunter and Vee followed her and they started fighting some more of Belos' army with their skills and abilities. Gus continued to fight Graye by himself as he combined Illusion and Oracle Magic to make a sword appear and fly at Graye. However the sword made Graye vanish, as it was only an illusion and then Graye came behind Gus and grabbed him.
He restrained Gus as he tried to take his medallion away while impatiently saying, "You chose good tracks to study, but you're still just a scared little boy."
Gus then stomped on Graye's tail and made him cry in pain before swinging his staff and knocking Graye away.
Gus held his staff firmly as he said, "I may be young, but I've got a lot of talent!"
He then held his medallion while his eyes glowed blue and he read Graye's mind and then made an illusion of an older man who looked like Graye.
Graye became somewhat frightened as he said, "Dad?!"
The illusion of Graye's father looked at him as he pointed his finger and strictly said, "Why don't you learn some REAL magic! It's not like illusions can do anything useful!"
Graye backed away as he pointed at the illusion and said, "You never understood my creative mind! You always shunned my artistic talent!"
He then ran off while the illusion of his father chased him and Gus smiled triumphantly and said, "I have a way of getting inside people's heads."
Meanwhile, Eda was still fighting Terra as she made several carnivorous plants sprout up and attack her, but Eda slashed her talons and cut the to pieces. Terra then made a giant cactus grow and made it attack Eda, but she flapped her wings and created a powerful blast of wind that knocked it over. Terra was annoyed but then smiled deviously as she made a special tree rise out of the ground and threw fruit at Eda.
Eda recognized the fruit as she gasped in horror and said, "Boom fruit!"
One of the boom fruit hit her and exploded as it sent her crashing to the ground before she cried in pain and cringed.
Terra lowered herself down over Eda as she stood on a root and gloated, "And you once called yourself the most powerful witch on the Boiling Isles."
Eda got up and smiled slyly as she said, "I may not be the MOST powerful anymore, but I've still got some skill!"
She held her finger out and made a yellow ring of light before firing a yellow blast of magic at Terra, knocking her off the root and flat on her back.
Terra sat up as Eda hovered in the air and she stared at her in shock as she asked, "How did you do that?! The curse!"
Eda smiled proudly as she said, "The Collector taught me a new way to do magic. I'm not as powerful as I used to be but I'm pretty sure I can take an old crone like you."
Terra glared daggers as she held her hands out with glowing green rings in front of them as she grew several thorned roots and lashed them at Eda.
Eda dodged them and yelled, "Spicy toss!"
She launched a fireball that burned the roots to a crisp and then Terra angrily grew some plants that shot spores at her. Eda flapped her wings and created a powerful gust of wind that blew the spores away before flying at Terra and punching her. Terra fell on the ground but angrily got up and made trees sprout out of the ground and threw huge pinecones at her. Eda created a yellow force-field around herself that protected her as the pinecones broke against it and fell to pieces. She dropped her force-field and then flew at Terra and tried to kick her, but Terra dodged her and made a root Eda. She smiled evilly when suddenly Raine flew in front of Terra on their staff and whistled, creating a sonic blast that hit Terra and knocked her out. Eda cut herself from the roots and hovered next to Raine as she smiled at them and they smiled back at her lovingly.
Raine smiled happily as they said, "I've wanted to do that since she put us through H.E.C.K.!"
Eda smiled in delight as she said, "Me too!"
The two of them then flew off together as they used their magic to fight more of Belos' army and joined their friends. Lilith and Darius had defeated Flora together as Darius stuck her to a wall with Abomination slime and then he rushed off while Lilith flew. Darius took out some Abomatons while Lilith punched a couple of Coven Guards in the face and knocked them out.
Eda joined Lilith and smiled happily as she said, "Hey Lilly look! We're the harpy sisters!"
Lilith smiled with joy as she and Eda flew as harpies and started beating every enemy that came their way. Bill and his Titan Trappers continued to fight Tarak and his Titan Protectors when Bill managed to knock Tarak down. He prepared to finish him until the basilisks came and defended Tarak and his Titan Protectors as they shrieked and roared. Some of them breathed fire while others shot blasts of magic and soon defeated Bill and his Titan Trappers. Tarak got back up and charged with the basilisks as they battled the rest of Belos army with bravery and honor. Hooty kept stomping through the army as he crushed a few Abomatons and then stretched himself out of the front door and ate a bunch of fire bees that someone summoned.
The Collector kept floating in Eda's room as he happily said, "This is so much fun!"
The battle kept going on as Zul and Belos watched from the top of the tower and Zul grew impatient while Belos looked at the sky. It was late in the day as he smiled at the position of the sun before grinning at King on the podium.
Zul glared impatiently down at Luz before looking at Belos as she said, "Dad, this is getting out of hand! I'm going down there and ending this!"
Belos spoke seriously as he looked at Zul and said, "Be patient Zul, time is ticking and when the moment is right their efforts will be all for naught."
Zul was still impatient as she moved her hand to refer to the battle as she said, "Dad, they're starting get the upper hand! Our army's losing, we can't just stand by and do nothing!"
Belos glanced down before looking at Zul as he sternly said, "Very well Zul. Go have fun. But remember our plan."
Zul smiled as she bowed respectfully to him and said, "Yes dad."
She then pulled out her staff and smiled evilly as she flew down to the battle and landed on the field and swung her staff as it glowed red. She sent out red blasts of magic that hit some Titan Protectors and knocked them down, then she waved her hand and telekinetically disarmed Tarak. She swung her staff at him and knocked him to the ground before flying off with a mischievous grin on her face.
She flew toward Boscha and her Grudgby team and landed in front of them as she grinned and said, "Hey Boscha, you play rough?"
She swung her staff through the air and sent a wave of red energy that hit Boscha and her friends and knocked them down to the ground. Zul then waved her hand as it glowed red and she made sharp slabs of rock rise out of the ground and hit a few Hexside students. She smiled triumphantly before turning and noticing Luz fighting alongside Amity, Willow, Gus, Hunter, Vee, and Camila. Zul glared with hatred before running to attack them, while they did not see her coming and fought off some Coven Scouts and Guards. Willow ensnared some with thorned roots while Amity was still covered in Abomination goo and turned her hands into maces. She swung them at two Coven Guards and knocked them out before smiling at her friends victoriously.
Luz smiled at Amity as she pointed at her and said, "I'm really digging that slimy look on you."
Amity showed a flattered smile as she said, "Thanks Luz."
Their eyes widened as they all suddenly heard Zul say, "Yeah, now you're a REAL Abomination!"
They all turned to see Zul standing in front of them as she glared at them as she held her staff in her right hand.
Luz glared at her as she hatefully said, "Zul!"
Camila was shocked as she pointed at her and said, "That's Zul?!"
Zul smiled sadistically as she held her left hand out and said, "Si mama. Don't you recognize your own daughter?"
Camila glared as she pointed at Zul and said, "You are NOT my daughter!"
Zul smiled as she pointed at Camila and taunted, "You're right, I'm better. Probably because I have a better parent. One who actually stands up for me and teaches me. Say what you will about Belos, but he's done way more for me than you've done for Luz."
Camila showed a bit of guilt and regret when Amity glared at Zul and said, "Shut up Zul! You can't beat us all by yourself!"
Zul smiled deviously as she pointed her staff at Luz and said, "Actually I had something more fun in mind. King's at the top of the tower with dad, you want to get to them you have to go through me. Luz, fight me by yourself. If you beat me, I'll stay out of your way."
The others were shocked as Gus said, "Huh?"
They looked at Luz while she kept glaring at Zul, who smiled evilly as she said, "I've been watching you. You've got magic now, and you're pretty tough. Well dad taught me a few more spells too. You probably think you're really tough now. Well let's test it. You beat me, one on one, you can keep going, but if I win your army has to surrender."
Hunter looked at Luz as he urgently said, "Don't do it Luz! It's a trick! Even if you beat her she'll never just let you go save King!"
Vee agreed as she said, "Hunter's right! She's just trying to bait you! Don't listen!"
Luz kept glaring at Zul as she seriously said, "I know what she's doing, but I have to do it. I can't just stand by and let her and Belos threaten the people I care about. If I don't do anything she'll just keep trying to beat me. I have to do this."
They all realized they couldn't stop her and then Camila put her hand on Luz's shoulder and kindly said, "Then show her what you're made of!"
Luz smiled at her before stepping forward as she seriously said, "Okay Zul, I accept your challenge!"
Zul smiled evilly as she held her staff out and said, "Just like Azura Book 4."
Luz whirled her staff around as she said, "And it will end the same way!"
She then swung her staff and fired a purple blast of magic at Zul but she teleported out of the way in a red flash and came behind Luz. She swung her staff at Luz as the end glowed red, but Luz dodged it and held her hand out as made some Abomination goo fly out of her bottle and hit Zul in the face. Zul stumbled back before the goo went back into the bottle and then Zul waved her hand and made a slab of land rise out of the ground and launch Luz in the air. Luz recovered as she flew on her staff and then landed as she held her amulet and shot a powerful blast of purple energy. Zul waved her hand and raised a wall of rock out of the ground that shielded her from the magical blast before lowering it. She waved her hand again as it glowed red and she telekinetically lifted Luz in the air and threw her at a wall behind her. Luz let out a small cry of pain as the others watched in distress, but then Luz put her fingers in her mouth and whistled, using Bard Magic to send out a sonic blast that hit Zul when she came close. She knocked Zul on her back but they both got up and glared at each other before Luz reached into her bag and pulled out a couple of seeds. She threw them to the ground and held her hand out as her eyes glowed green and she made roots and flowers sprout from the seeds and attack Zul. She waved her staff and sent out a red wave of magic that cut the roots and stopped them, then she teleported next to Luz in a red flash.
She kicked Luz to the ground and made her drop her staff, then Stringbean changed to her natural form and took flight.
Zul grabbed her then pointed the end of her staff at her as she arrogantly said, "You're tough, but I'm still better!"
Luz's left eye glowed pinkish purple while her right eye glowed brownish yellow; she used both Construction and Abomination magic. The Abomination goo flew out of her bottle and formed a glove over her left hand while rock came out of the ground and constructed a glove over her right hand. She kicked Zul back and then punched her in the stomach with her rock glove and then punched her in the face with her Abomination glove. She made her stumble back as she released Stringbean, who flew back to Luz while her rock glove crumbled and her Abomination goo went back into the bottle.
Stringbean landed on Luz's shoulder and chirped as she smiled at her, then she glared at Zul and said, "Never mess with Stringbean!"
Zul glared at them both before holding her staff out as the end of it glowed red, then ropes appeared and ensnared Luz. They restrained her arms as she grunted while Zul smiled evilly as she started walking to her to finish her. Then Stringbean flew and sprouted sharp spines along her back and then curled up and spun like a living buzzsaw as she cut the ropes off of Luz. Luz smiled as Stringbean changed back to her staff form and then she held her hand out and fired a yellow blast of magic at Zul. Zul dodged it and yelled in fury as she flew at Luz and tried to ram her, only for Luz to dodge it, smiling as she spun around on her tiptoe like a ballerina. Zul landed and turned around fired a red blast of magic that hit Luz and knocked her down, the others were worried while Zul let out a small laugh of triumph. Luz got up and had a few scratches on her, but she made a blue ring of light around herself and used Healing Magic on herself and made the scratches disappear. Zul was shocked and angry as she grunted in fury before flying at she ran at Luz and swung her staff at her as it glowed red. Luz dodged it and reached into her bag and pulled out a blue potion, she threw it to the ground and made a huge cloud of blue smoke appear.
Zul angrily looked around and demanded, "Come out old Luz! If you're so good, why do you need to hide!"
Suddenly the cloud of blue smoke was cleared as Zul looked to see Luz holding her hand out with a serious expression. Zul then moved her hand and telekinetically lifted a large rock out of the ground and hurled it at Luz, who did not move at all. When the rock hit Luz she disappeared, as it was nothing more than an illusion; Zul was shocked and then suddenly Luz jumped at her from behind and swung her staff at her as it glowed purple.
She sent Zul tumbling on the ground before she got up and glared at Luz, who smiled proudly and said, "I know how to bring the dazzle."
Amity, Willow, and Gus happily cheered as they through confetti in the air while Zul kept glaring at Luz in rage.
She held her hands out and angrily said, "Okay, try and top this!"
She then summoned a monster worm out of the ground behind her as it roared and it tried to attack Luz, who flew on her staff to avoid being eaten.
Zul smiled evilly until Luz floated in the air and pulled out Eda's cittern while she said, "Good thing we stopped to pick up a friend."
Luz's eyes glowed orange while she played a song on the cittern and combined both Bard and Beast Keeping magic. She kept playing while they all heard a loud roar and then the Slitherbeast came out of the forest and crossed the bridge. It joined the battle as it roared and attacked Zul's worm monster, destroying it as it slashed its claws and cut it to bits.
Zul was shocked as she desperately yelled, "No!"
The slitherbeast looked at Zul and snarled while Luz kept playing the cittern and then the slitherbeast spit purple sticky goo at her. The goo trapped Zul as her lower body was covered in it and so was her staff as she desperately struggled to break free while grunting angrily.
At the top of the tower, Belos had an impressed smile on his face as he said, "Well played Luz."
The slitherbeast snarled at her before Luz walked up to it and patted the side of its head, prompting it to smile at her.
Luz had a friendly smile as she said, "Thanks for the help girl. Now go have some fun."
The slitherbeat then roared as it ran off and then ate an Abomaton before chasing some Coven Guards as they ran away screaming in terror. Luz was joined by her mom and all her friends before Eda flew and landed by them as she said, "Way to go kid! That's my girl!"
Camila was so proud as she happily said, "Mine too!"
Luz smiled happily at all of them before they all turned looked down at Zul, who glared at them with hatred.
Luz smiled proudly as she said, "Sorry Zul, but you got nothing on the OG."
Hunter looked at Luz as he curiously asked, "What should we do with her?"
Luz showed a serious expression as she said, "Just leave her. I won and she can't do anything now. You guys help the RATs against these guys. I'm going to save King."
Eda looked a bit worried as she said, "Okay, be careful kid. Belos is gonna be a lot harder to beat than your evil clone."
Luz showed a serious expression as she nodded and said, "Don't worry, I've beat him before and I'll do it again."
She then sat on her staff and flew straight up toward the top of the tower while they watched, then they all left to fight in the battle. When they were gone, Zul looked up at the sky and smiled as she noticed the sun was starting to go down and she knew it wouldn't be too long until nighttime.
She had an evil grin as she chuckled and said, "You always underestimate yourself."
At the top of the tower, Belos looked down at King struggling on the podium before looking at the sun as it slowly started going down. He smiled evilly while Luz flew up to the edge of the tower behind him and glared at him as she held her staff in her left hand.
Without turning to face her, Belos smiled evilly as he said, "Hello Luz."
King then looked at her as he frantically said, "Luz? Luz!"
Luz stared at King with concern as she said, "King! Are you okay?!"
King showed an uncomfortable expression as he said, "Well these vines are kind of tight and I'm hungry, but other than that I'm fine."
Roselle and Dottie stood on the other end of the tower's roof as Roselle said, "Don't worry little Titan, we'll feed you when we're all super-powerful."
Luz then stood in a fighting stance as she pointed her staff at Belos and said, "It's over Belos! Give me King!"
Belos then pulled out his scepter and turned to Luz with a smile as he said, "I must admit Luz, you're quite predictable, yet still full of surprises. You go to incredible lengths to accomplish your goals. You remind me of myself."
Luz kept glaring at him as she hatefully said, "I'm not like you! I'm here to save the demon realm from an evil monster, you're just fighting for yourself!"
Belos frowned at her as he examined her outfit and said, "It is a disappointment, this realm has warped your humanity. Now you have embraced their evil and let it shape you. I pity your mother for having to see you like this. Fortunately Zul will redeem your legacy."
Luz held her staff firmly as she kept glaring at Belos and firmly said, "I stopped Zul and I'll stop you too."
Belos had a twisted smile on his face as he said, "Do you really think? Your new powers are impressive but do you really think you have a chance against me?"
Luz was not deterred as she seriously said, "It's time to find out! I challenge you to a witch's duel!"
Belos smiled sinisterly as he said, "Very well, I accept your challenge"
Luz then swung her staff sideways through the air and sent a purple magical wave at Belos, but he swung his staff down and cut the wave in two. The two waves hit Roselle and Dottie and sent them falling off the top of the tower as they screamed while King watched. King kept watching the fight as Belos fired a red magical beam at Belos, but she blocked it with a purple force-field. She then waved her hand as it glowed red and telekinetically lifted a large brick off the edge of the tower and hurled it at Belos.
He easily destroyed it with a red beam from his staff and Luz smiled as she proudly said, "The Collector taught me a few spells and I found ways to combine them with the other magic."
Belos frowned as he was mildly annoyed but not deterred as he said, "Well done, but you're still years away from doing magic at my level."
His left arm became green and slimy as his hand became a scythe blade that he swung at Luz, but she dodged it and flew up with her staff. She then used both Illusion and Oracle Magic to make three energy duplicates of herself, then she and her duplicates fired yellow blasts of magic at him from different directions. Belos teleported out of the way and when he reappeared he sent out a blast of red magic from his staff in every direction. He destroyed the fake Luzes and knocked the real Luz down as she fell down on the edge of the tower while he walked to her. She smiled slyly as she pulled out the cittern and strummed it, sending out a sonic wave that blasted Belos back and made him slide across the tower. He stopped and regained his footing as he shot a small glare at her before waving his finger as he telekinetically lifted her in the air. He tried to slam her down but she used her own telekinesis to stop herself just before hitting the top of the tower. She gently lowered herself down and held her staff out as she put the cittern back in her bag and pulled out a few potions. She threw them at Belos but he waved his hands and made them fly off the tower before they exploded, then he aimed his scepter at Luz as it glowed red. Meanwhile the RATs kept fighting Belos army while Zul looked around and watched everyone fight around her. Scab the All Knowing rose out of a shadow on the ground as he held his crystal ball and fired a blast of purple energy at a basilisk and knocked him down. He prepared to do it again when Tibbles came and held his spray bottle as he shrunk Scab down, then Scab ran away scared. The BATS used their Bard Magic to defeat some witches and demons as they played their instruments and were joined by Raine. Bump was still fighting Faust when he flew on his staff and then swung it and shot a blast of magic that hit Faust and knocked him down.
Faust looked up at Bump, who smugly looked down at him and said, "Class dismissed."
Moton threw a few potions that exploded and knocked down some Titan Trappers while Viney and Emira healed a few of their allies. The Bat Queen flew down and knocked away several Coven Scouts before spitting webs and trapping some other witches and demons. Kikimora rode her hand dragon as it charged through the crowd and knocked several Coven Scouts and Guards aside. One of them tried to shoot a magical blast from his finger but the hand dragon grabbed him in its mouth and threw him away. Hooty happily stomped through the army as he kicked witches and demons and stretched himself out of the door and lashed himself like a whip and knocked some others away. He then coughed and gagged before vomiting up several huge owl pellets on Coven Guards before he happily walked away. Seeing everyone occupied, Zul looked up at the sky and noticed the sun was almost set and the moon was rising and would soon be overhead. Zul smiled deviously as she let out a small chuckle and then her body was surrounded by a red aura as she teleported out of the sticky slime. She rose up out of the ground with her staff and smiled evilly as she flew on her staff and rounded up a few of her allies. First she freed Odalia from the Abomination slime trapping her, then she gathered Graye, Terra, and Vitimir.
She smiled at them as she said, "Come on everyone, it's time for the surprise!"
They smiled evilly as they followed her, meanwhile Eda was with her parents as they rode their Stonesleeper, Lilith, Raine, and Camila.
Lilith happily flew in her harpy form as she said, "I feel so alive!"
They were fighting alongside Amity, Hunter, Willow, Vee, and Gus as they made short work of every enemy they faced.
Then Hooty stopped behind them and stretched his head down toward them as he happily said, "This is the best day ever!"
Eda looked up and pointed at the moon as she urgently said, "It's not over yet. The moons' coming up and it's getting dark. The Amplifying Spell will activate soon."
Amity was still covered in Abomination goo as she clinched her fist and said, "Then let's get up there and give Luz a hand!"
The others happily agreed as they exclaimed, "Yeah!"
Eda and Lilith flew up while Eda took Camila's hand and carried her and Vee turned her arms into wings and flew up. Everyone else flew on their staffs as Raine led Willow, Gus, Hunter, and Amity, who had changed back to her normal form. Hooty stretched his head up and followed them while the Owl House stayed at the base of the tower and the Collector waited inside. They all moved up the side of the tower as they approached the top where Luz was still fighting Belos. Del and Gwendolyn watched them as Gwendolyn showed a worried expression as she held her staff.
Del put his hand on her shoulder as he kindly said, "Go help them Gwendolyn, I'll help the others down here."
She smiled as she planted a kiss on his cheek and said, "Thank you fire honey."
She then flew on her staff and followed the others toward the top of the tower while Del rode away on the Stonesleeper and kept fighting. Unbeknownst to them, Zul was watching them with an evil smile as Terra, Graye, Odalia, and Vitimir stood behind her with similar expressions.
Zul kept smiling evilly as she said, "We're almost ready, we just need three more things."
At the top of the tower, Luz kept fighting Belos as she telekinetically lifted chunks of stone in the air and her eyes glowed brown as she used construction magic. She magically made the chunks of stone change shape to look like birds, which she sent flying straight toward Belos. He was not amused as he used his staff to destroy them all with a red blast of magic, but then Luz threw seeds at him and her eyes glowed green as she held out her hands. She made thorned roots sprout from the seeds and ensnare Belos as he let out a small cry of pain while he was restrained, but his eyes glowed blue as he busted out with great strength. Belos then created a red orb in his hand and threw it at Luz, but she dodged it as it exploded behind her. Luz held her staff out and started swinging it around as she made Abomination goo fly out of her bottle while a green potion flew out of her bag. She made the Abomination slime and green potion fly around her while she spun around with and waved her staff before swinging it out. She made the slime form an Abomination before the green potion hit it, and it transformed, growing bigger and sprouting extra arms with sharp claws and teeth. She held her hand out and made it attack Belos, who was startled but shot a red blast of magic that made it splatter. Luz made some of her Abomination goo fly back into her bottle before her eyes glowed orange and she swung her staff around. Some strange flying beast demons flew and attacked Belos but he hit one with his scepter before punching one away, then he telekinetically threw one away.
Belos then stared at Luz as he said, "Come now Luz, you can do better than that."
He then shot a red blast from his scepter at Luz but it was intercepted by a yellow blast of energy and Luz looked to see Hunter standing on the edge of the tower with his staff. Hunter was joined by Willow, Guys, Amity, and Vee, then Eda and Lilith flew up as harpies and hovered in the air. Gwendolyn and Raine flew on their staffs and floated above the top of the tower while Hooty stretched himself up as he smiled.
King happily looked at Eda as he exclaimed, "Eda!"
Eda showed a serious expression as she pointed at Belos and said, "Wittebane, you're a sly one but you made one big mistake! You mess with her you messed with my kids!"
Camila glared at Belos as she fiercely agreed, "Yeah! You mess with them you mess with all of us!"
Luz smiled at all of them with appreciation before confidently looking at Belos as she said, "Thanks everyone. You see Belos?! With my friends by my side I can do anything! Now watch this trick Eda taught me!"
She whirled her staff around before slamming the bottom of it on the roof of the tower and she made three tubes rise out of it. The tubes looked like Hooty with glowing white eyes as they ensnared Belos' upper body and restrained him as he grunted.
Hooty smiled in delight as he said, "I'm so happy I could…"
He then gagged a large owl pellet that hit Belos and got him filthy as he complained, "That bird tube is the vilest creature I've ever encountered, which is saying something coming from me."
King looked up at the sky and noticed the moon almost directly overhead as he happily said, "The moon's almost past! We did it!"
Everyone glared at Belos as Luz seriously said, "It's over Belos!"
Belos smiled deviously at all of them as he said, "Well played Luz, I see your friends have taught you well, but I'm afraid you've come this far for nothing."
Eda smiled overconfidently as she pointed at the colored spaces and said, "Ha! You're in denial! How can you complete the Amplifying Spell without the nine types of magic?!"
Belos smiled as he said, "That won't be an issue!"
Suddenly a red blast destroyed the Hooty-like tubes restraining Belos and they all looked to see Zul fly down and land beside him with an evil smile.
She smiled at them before looking at Belos out of the corner of her eye as she said, "Hey dad, hope I'm not too late."
He smiled deviously as he said, "No you're right on time. All of you."
Terra, Odalia, Vitimir, and Graye suddenly came out from behind them and stepped on the spaces on the tower for their respective magics. The spaces started glowing as they smiled evilly, except Vitimir who still felt sick but was able to continue.
Luz and her friends were all shocked and concerned when Belos said, "Get them!"
Terra then made several plant roots and tendrils come up and had them ensnare Eda, Lilith, Raine, and Gwendolyn. Odalia revealed a new purple ring on her finger, which glowed purple as she used Oracle Magic to make a giant arm of purple energy appear and grab Amity as she grunted in pain. Odalia then held up her remote and made some Abomatons come and had them grab Willow, Gus, Hunter and lifted them off the ground. Vitimir then spewed sticky goo from his mouth that hit Luz and Camila and knocked them down, trapping them. An Abomaton then trapped Vee in a force-field floating above the tower and Hooty was restrained as by a red aura around his body and the Owl House on the ground, trapping him. Zul had created that red aura with her staff and she smiled as she held her staff out with the end glowing red and she telekinetically brought up Bria and Cat as they looked like they'd been roughed up a bit. Luz gasped while Zul moved her staff and lowered them onto the spaces for Construction and Healing magic, then she made ropes appear around them restraining their arms and legs.
Belos smiled evilly as he pointed his finger and said, "Now put the others where they belong."
Terra moved her finger and had her roots and tendrils place Raine and Gwendolyn on the spaces for Bard and Beast Keeping Magic.
Eda became terrified as she said, "Raine! Mom!"
They struggled but could not break free while Odalia moved her energy hand and put Amity on the Abomination space before imprisoning her in a purple force-field.
Luz watched in fear as she cried, "Amity!"
The spaces they stood on started glowing and so did the Galdorstones as the preparations for the Amplifying Spell had been completed.
Belos smiled evilly at them before smiling pleasantly at Zul as he said, "I thank you all for your assistance in completing my noble quest. Brilliant thinking Zul."
Zul smiled modestly as she said, "Thanks, I knew they couldn't resist helping Luz, with them Bria and Cat we now have all of the nine types of magic for the Amplifying Spell."
Lilith was horrified as she yelled, "NO!"
Belos smiled gloatingly at them as he said, "Yes, and I have to say I couldn't have picked better candidates for my spell, no need for sigils, just witches are skilled in the nine types of magic."
Amity desperately banged on the force-field with her Abomination arms but could not break free as the moon came into position. The spaces and Galdorstones shined brightly as the moonlight shined on them and everyone on the battlefield looked up at the tower. A dome of white magic appeared over King as the spell started using his dormant Titan magic to enhance the other magics. A yellow wave of magic erupted from the tower and spread across the battlefield and then around the world as it effected every magical creature in the demon realm.
Luz desperately tried to get up but the goo still had her stuck as she said, "No! This can't be!"
Odalia smiled sadistically at Luz as she said, "It can and it is brat! Soon we'll all be more powerful than ever and we'll all rule the demon realm!"
Belos and Zul smiled deviously at Odalia as Belos said, "About that…"
Odalia, Terra, Vitimir, and Graye were shocked when a bunch of fleshy monstrous hands rose out of the tower and grabbed parts of their bodies. Theys struggled but couldn't break free as the clawed hands had them in a tight grip and made them stay on their spaces.
Belos smiled evilly as he gloated, "I'm afraid no one will be ruling anything."
Luz glared hatefully as she said, "I KNEW you weren't going through with this!"
He snidely looked at Luz as he said, "You know me too well."
Zul smiled evilly at everyone as she said, "Time for the big reveal!"
Belos walked over toward the pedestal where King was strapped to and started drawing a symbol near it with the bottom of his scepter.
Belos smiled evilly as he looked at Luz and her friends and explained, "The Amplifying Spell does indeed enhance all magic in the demon realm, but with one extra ingredient the Amplifying Spell can be changed into an Eradication Spell that will wipe out all life in the demon realm, except for humans. And Luz, you've brought the only thing I needed to make that change a reality."
Luz became very worried as she asked, "What are you talking about?!"
Belos and Zul smiled evilly as they walked over to Eda and Belos said, "The Owl Lady."
Eda was confused and skeptical as she said, "Huh? I knew you were crazy but now you're not making any sense. How can I change the Amplifying Spell?"
Belos smiled evilly as he said, "The same way you hoped to stop my Draining Spell."
Eda's eyes widened in shock and realization, and so did everyone else's as they realized where this was going.
Eda desperately tried to resist as she struggled and said, "No! No, no, no!"
She tried to break free to escape but it was in vain as Belos telekinetically moved her over to the symbol he had drawn near the pedestal where King was. He then used his scepter to restrain Eda with glowing red ropes of magical energy that kept her from getting up.
Her gem glowed black and made a noise as she nervously looked at it while Lilith yelled, "Edalyn!"
Luz cried in despair, "No!"
Eda's body started changing as she was covered in black with smoke coming from her body as she cried in pain.
King was also in pain as he looked at her and cried, "Eda!"
The Eradication Spell then started spreading the effect to everyone else as all the witches and demons turned black and started crying in pain. Smoke and little black bubbles started coming from their bodies as Eda's curse was affecting all of them, including the others on the tower. Even the animals were hurt by the spell as Kikimora's hand dragon and the slitherbeast roared in pain as they recoiled. Even the Collector became weak as his body turned black and started smoking, as did Hooty's as he pulled himself back into the front door and sat the Owl House down. The only ones not effected by this were unaffected by the spell were Luz, Camila, Hunter, Zul, and Belos as they looked around. Fortunately the Bat Queen was unaffected and so were all of the other Palismen, but their owners were too weak to use them.
Belos smiled evilly as he said, "Finally! My moment of triumph has come! My destiny will be fulfilled!"
Zul smiled sadistically at Eda as she joked, "Maybe I should play Eda's Requiem."
Luz looked around at all her friends and noticed their pain as they were all black and groaning in pain with smoke coming from them. She looked back at Belos in fear and terror while the Eradication Spell continued and everyone was getting weaker by the minute.
Author's note: So that's the end of the first part of the climax. The real final battle will be in the next chapter. I didn't want to make this chapter too long so I thought this would be the best place to stop. You now know what Belos' real plan was all along and now Luz is the only one who can stop him. The only ones not affected are the Palismen and the humans. The battle in the next chapter will be epic and we'll see Luz do it again! Please review.
