With the tools of wonder and limitless imagination, a wizard built a world for the forgotten, the unloved. A once joyous land, until on a very peculiar day, his mischievous (or malicious) mirror lured someone out of his bed and into the wizard's workshop. A once joyous land was ruined by a mischievous mouse. With the mouse's creation of a monster known as the Blot, the world the wizard had created was ravaged, a wasteland. Several years later, the mouse was pulled into the Wasteland by the Blot. He faced many challenges and choices, but his redemption came through his unparalleled bravery, long lost friends, and the limitless power of the Brush. But more danger was just around the corner. With the resurgence of an old foe known as the Mad Doctor, Wasteland was in danger once again. But, with the aid of the Wasteland's leader, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, the mouse was able to triumph over evil once again, and the Wasteland remained safe. Only through these was the mischievous mouse able to become an epic hero. This mouse is named Mickey, and the Wasteland is where our story begins.
EPIC MICKEY: HEROES OF WASTELAND
Mickey Mouse was asleep in his bed when a glow awoke him.
"Mickey." a voice said.
Mickey looked and saw a wizard in his mirror. This is Yen Sid, the one who created the Cartoon Wasteland.
"Yen Sid? What are you doing here?" Mickey asked.
"I have a gift for you." Yen Sid before leading Mickey to his workshop.
"What is it?" Mickey asked.
Yen Sid led him to the model of the Cartoon Wasteland, "I am aware you have friends in the Cartoon Wasteland and I am sure that you would like to visit them." he said.
"Well, sure I would." Mickey said.
"In that case, take this." Yen Sid said as he handed Mickey a Heart-shaped crystal.
"What is this?" Mickey asked.
"That is the Wishing Heart. It allows you to go anywhere you wish, as long as you imagine it. This will allow you to visit Wasteland without having to come through my workshop. In addition…" Yen Sid said as he handed Mickey a long case. Inside was a paintbrush.
"The Brush?" Mickey asked.
"I have decided to entrust the Brush to you, Mickey. You have shown how you can be responsible with it. I trust you won't make me regret it." Yen Sid said.
"I won't. Thank you, Yen Sid." Mickey said before he held the Wishing Heart close and imagined Mean Street. Before he knew it, he was there.
"Wow, it worked!" Mickey said before he heard someone.
"Mickey!" called a rabbit with blue shorts and a green gremlin in an orange suit.
