Miwa stood on a water tower above the busy streets of New York, she saw all the hustle and bustle of his home with a smile before she turned her head and looked down and saw Splinter standing on another roof with his back turned.

"Father!" Miwa jumped down and tried to run toward him only to phase through his body, being reminded she was merely a hologram and not the real Master Splinter.

"Miwa?" The door opened to reveal Robyn as she turned toward her and the entire simulation deactivated to reveal the training room. "I'm sorry to bother you, but the Professor wants us all on the bridge." She noticed the look on his face. "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine Robyn. I'm on my way up." Miwa said as she walked out, "It's just… It's been a while since we left Earth."

Robyn held her shoulder, "Hey, I miss them all too," She said to her with a small smile. "But when we get the Black Hole pieces and destroy them, we can go home."

"Yeah, I sure hope so." Miwa said with a small smile as they walked out of the simulator and to the bridge.

Mozar turned to one of his soldiers. "Where is it?! The Triceraton who finds the fragment first will be promoted one full rank!" He stated.

One of the officers on the bridge spoke up as he worked at the console. "There is a strange interference blanketing the planet sir. But I believe the fragment is located somewhere on this continent."

The main screen zoomed in on the planet Mozar's ship was orbiting and the targeting system pinpointed the continent the officer was referring to.

"Assemble an away team!" Mozar ordered. "Do not alert Central Command to our location! It will be my team who finds the fragment."

The planet appeared to be covered in a dark grayish cloud with patches of a dark red color seen through the cloud. It didn't seem like a very friendly planet at first glance, but it was the planet where the first piece to the Heart of Darkness was located. Both the Triceratons and the heroes would do what it takes to get it first. As Mozar's ship orbited the planet, the Ulixies hid behind an asteroid, far outside Mozar's radar as the heroes prepared.

"They can't see us on radar, right Fugitoid and Zog?" Raph asked.

"Yeah, are you two sure this is gonna work?" Jenny asked.

"Relax. The Empire is convinced that the first piece of the Heart of Darkness is on that planet." Zog said to them.

"We just need to reach it first." Fugitoid said while on the controls.

April and Robyn felt their heads. "I'm just going to say it now: something doesn't feel right about this mission." April said to them.

"Yeah, it's a bit off." Robyn added in concern.

In just a short amount of time, the entire group of heroes had donned their space suits and entered a smaller ship. The Fugitoid stood in the middle as his entire robotic body was covered in machinery up to his head. While Leo, Miwa, Raph, Donnie, Mikey, and April all sat on six hovering chairs around the pod as Casey, Robyn, the islander turtles, Zog, Alopex, and Keno crouched on the floor around the pod.

"A little cramped in here." Keno commented with a grunt.

"And a tight squeeze." Casey groaned from feeling Zog's weight.

"Beep-beep, apologies my friends. I'm not used to having so many passengers," Fugitoid apologized.

"Why do you even have a scout ship?" Tal asked in wonder. "Let alone one?"

"It was originally meant for scouting new planets and retrieving samples, but never a stealth mission." Fugitoid said with a sheepish look.

As the pod launched from the ship and made a direct line towards the planet.

"Activating cloak." Donnie pressed a few buttons on a holographic pad before the entire pod turned invisible and continued its approach.

Casey looked extremely excited as usual. "Finally, a little excitement! It's been like a whole week since something awesome happened!"

"Casey, can't you take this seriously?" Keno questioned in annoyance. "This is important."

"He is correct." Alopex said. "We are on a mission to save our home."

"That word. It's radiating a strange power." Robyn said in concern while April feels the same thing.

"Yeah. like…. Pure evil." April said in agreement. "We're flying into danger, Professor."

"Evil, you say?" Professor Honeycutt questioned as the pod entered the atmosphere and flew through the clouds. "Nonsense. This is Xaava-Dal: the oldest, most beautiful paradise planet in the universe! It is gorgeous down there!"

The pod had landed on the ground quickly enough as everyone stepped outside and got a good look at it. It wasn't beautiful at all. The sky was blood-red, the ground was rock-hard and barren, with all the plants and floral looking like something of a mix between rotten fungus and decayed trees.

"Ugh! Fugi-dude!" Casey exclaimed.

"Uh… on Xaava-Dal, does 'beautiful' mean 'terrifying'?" Ames questioned nervously.

"Well… I have been… occasionally wrong…" Honeycutt said nervously as the group walked and were being watched by strange creatures hiding admits the trees.

"That's odd." Zog said in concern while rubbing his chin. "I've heard of Xaava-Dal being a glorious paradise, untouched by technology where life runs free but this,"

"Well, this place is like…" Olly said with a serious look.

"Pure evil, maybe?" April finished. "Like how we warned earlier? Yeah, no one listens to the psychic?"

"Take a chill, O'Neil." Tal snarked with a look, pulling out her scanner. "We have to chance it to get the first piece of the black hole device."

"Well all the flora and fauna here are very strange." Donnie said while looking at his own scanner. "I don't understand these readings at all."

"We're here to find a weapon of mass destruction, not go sight-seeing," Miwa said in a grumble. "So let's find it and get out of here, and maybe kill a few Triceratons while we're at it."

"Wow, Miwa, easy on that word." Keno said to her.

"He's right. Because we have a Triceraton present here." Alopex added as she gestured to Zog ahead.

"Right. Sorry." Miwa quickly said while shaking her head. "That's weird." She muttered.

Mikey looked around and spotted some sort of black-furred, yellow-eyed, creature in front of him. "Awe, little monkey-cat-space-rat thing." He observed, as it did look kind of cute. "Aren't you cute…" He was about to pet it, only for the creature to bite his hand. Mikey screamed before he threw it away as the creature hissed before jumping into the bushes.

"Nice going Mikey, now your probably have space rabies," Raph commented, walking past him.

"Space rabies?!" Mikey looked terrified as he imagined himself foaming at the mouth.

"I'm sure he were just joking, Mikey." Ames told him to try and reassure him before glaring at Raph. "Even though it wasn't funny." They both rolled their eyes as the group continued.

"This world…" Honeycutt observed in disbelief. "It was once a vast, beautiful garden… it held ancient repositories of all the sacred knowledge of the cosmos. Not a single piece of technology was ever built here. The Aeons must have fled." He guessed. "Without their divine power…. Look at this world!"

"What are Aeons?" Naomi asked in curiosity.

"They are a powerful ancient alien race. They are the first beings to evolve in the universe." Zog explained.

"Now they're all…. gone away." Fugitoid finished as they looked in silence before they continued on.

As the group continued to walk, Donnie looked at his staff-scanner and only looked in frustration at the results. "This energy is really screwing up my readings!" He said.

Casey purposely bumped into Donnie. "So fix it, genius. I thought you were supposed to be the smart one."

Donnie glared at Jones. "That's right, I am! Which clearly makes you the stupid one!"

"At least Donnie's doing something useful, unlike you, Jones." Tal told Casey.

Mikey actually laughed at this. "That definitely makes Raph the angry one."

"I'm clearly the handsome one." Raph argued. "Here, check it out. I've got something for you." He said as he gave a fist to Mikey. Mikey responded with a vertical fist-bump, but Raph ended up twirling his fist and smacking Mikey down on his helmet and laughed. "You're the gullible one!"

That really got to Mikey as he actually pushed Raph back. "I'm tired of you picking on me! Ever since we were little you've been giving me shell-wedgies, wet-willies, and reptile rug-burns…" He listen.

Leo heard this as he turned to them. "MIKEY! RAPH! ENOUGH!" He yelled at them as the others turned to him. "We're on a serious mission here! So stop it!" He snapped.

Raph and Mikey glared at each other in warning before suddenly a series of animalistic noises caught everyone's attention as they looked upward to see a large group of tall humanoid-bat-like creatures flying down toward them.

"Everyone, take cover!" Leo ordered as the group split up to find cover behind trees, bushes, or any other large object that was nearby.

The demonic-like creatures landed on the ground, one looked around the rock that Mikey and Ames were hiding behind. They tried to keep as silent as possible as the creature sniffed the rock around them.

After a few moments, the creatures flew off as the heroes got out of their hiding spots as Ames and Mikey came out last. "Phew. Very strange. These creatures are definitely not native to this planet." Fugitoid said.

"Not even close. In fact there are no records of any creatures like them before," Zog added.

Raph jumped down. "Let's just move. Now we have Demon Bats and Triceratons to deal with." He stated. "I hate outer space, so, so much." He added with his arms crossed.

Elsewhere; a team of five Triceratons had landed on the ground via their star fighters. The last one to land was the personal fighter of Mozar. The moment he stepped out of his fighter, he growled. "We should have just beamed down."

"The planet's energy blocks off the outside world." One Triceraton soldier told Mozar as he looked at his scanner.

"No matter!" Mozar stated. "Find the fragment! Or by the Horn of Hadoleer, I will leave you behind on this nightmarish world." he warned.

"I have a reading." Another soldier caught Mozar's attention as he looked at his device. "This way sir." He led the group of soldiers in the same direction that the heroes were heading toward as well.

Back with the heroes, they were still chomping their way through the evil forest with Olly and Leo slicing their way with their weapons while Tal took over looking at the scanner. Honeycutt's robotic eyes did a quick scan. "Well, this isn't good. We're going around in circles." He noted as

"Oh come on! Are you kidding me?!" Miwa exclaimed as Tal growled and her eye twitched in frustration.

"Come on you stupid thing! Work!" Tal demanded, shaking her scanner to get a better reading only for it to short out.

April stomped over to Tal, "Ugh forget it, Tal! That scanner is as useless as that ponytail of yours," She said, gesturing to Tal's bandanas.

Tal glared at April. "Oh, let's not go there, April. You know that my ponytail is way more stylish than your ponytail." She retorted.

"At least mine is actual hair, Baldy," April insulted as Tal gasped in insult.

Both Tal and April growled as they glared at each other intensity before Ames broke them apart.

"Would you knock it off!" Ames told them with a look, "Your worse than the yellow terror over there!" She said, jerking a thumb at Jenny before getting grabbed by the shell.

"What did you just say?!" Jenny questioned angrily as Mikey stepped in.

"Hey, step away from my girl, Raph Chick-edition!" Mikey yelled as he pushed Jenny aside.

"That's it!" Raph snapped as he tackled Mikey, and then they all started fighting against each other.

"Get off of him, man!" Leo called as he tried to pull Raph off Mikey, but it got even worse as they kept fighting.

Olly saw this as he growled and brought out his axe as his powers activated and he sent a firewave over them, which hit the trees, causing them to tilt down as the others stopped fighting as they look at Olly in shock as he glared angrily at them. "YOU GUYS ALL STOP! DON'T MAKE ME ROAST YOU!" He warned while waving his axe. "YOU SEE THIS?! MY AXE IS SET TO BLAZE! AND I'M NOT AFRAID TO USE IT!"

"Olivier!" Naomi called as Olly turned to her as she gave a firm glare.

Olly's angry snarl faded as he saw the fearful expressions on the others faces as he saw his axe on fire and realized what he was doing as his powers faded and his axe went out as he gave a regrettable look at his family. "G-Guys, I-I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean to…" He said while clutching his head. "I'm just… so angry for some reason."

"It's not just you, I'm feeling it too," Vee said, rubbing her head, feeling tense.

"Guys, what the heck is wrong with us?" Mikey asked in concern.

"We have more important stuff to deal with." Robyn said to them while showing a symbol from behind the trees. "Like this."

"Must be from some sort of ancient civilization." Leo guessed.

"Duh." Jenny said with her arms crossed.

"Don't be rude, Jennika." Alopex said with her hands on her hips. "What does it say?"

Professor Honeycutt was able to translate what was written. "A mountain… at the summit of its peak… carved into the shape of a gemstone. What could it mean?" He wondered while rubbing his chin.

"It could be anything." Zog said while scratching his head. "These things are always a mystery to solve.

The group gave a sudden gasp as they heard the familiar sounds of the Space Demons as they saw a larger group coming down toward them from the sky. Everyone quickly hid in the nearest spots they could find as the Demons landed and began to sniff around.

"Those guys are like the pinnacle of extreme metal," Casey whispered frighteningly.

Keno glared, "I will kicked to be eaten by those things if you keep saying our lives are in danger is metal," He whispered with a glare as Casey gave him a look in return before the Space Demon flew off.

"Too close," Leo said in relief. "Thank goodness they're…" He trailed off when he heard growling. "They're not gone, are they?" He asked fearfully.

"Nope," Vee squeaked as a bat landed behind them.

"Everyone attack!" Olly called as they all drew their weapons and they started fighting the Space Demons, but they kept bumping into each other.

"Mikey! You're in my anger zone!" Raph growled before a bat tried to hit him, but he ducked and punched it away.

"When isn't he in your anger zone?" Ames commented before getting knocked back by Jenny.

"I know you're in mine!" Jenny retorted as she blocked one Demon.

Tal tried to aim her laser blow but Leo was blocking her, "Your blocking my shot, Leo!" She called with a look.

"You think I want to block you!?" Leo questioned before he was tackled down and was flown away with a yell.

"Leo!" Vee cried out as she took out her blaster. "Hang on!" She called as she shot the space demon, which let go of Leo as he fell to the ground before she got bonked on the head by Donnie's staff, "Ow! Watch where you swing that thing!" She called to the purple clad turtle, while holding her head.

"Well watch where you're going!" Donnie returned.

Raph was cornered by two Demons as he tried to beat them back. "Booyakasha!" Mikey tried to come in from above, only for the Demons to fly away and Mikey to accidentally hit Raph.

"I could have handled it, Mikey!" Raph said angrily as he pushed Mikey back, causing the Turtle to trip and land helmet-first on a rock. Unfortunately this resulted in his helmet shattering. "Oh no… Mikey!" Raph immediately regretted his actions as he pulled the youngest Ninja Turtle up and saw him apparently suffocating.

However, after a few seconds of dramatic over-reaction, Mikey's face returned to normal. "Whoa…wait…dudes! We can breathe air here! Sweet!" Mikey cheered.

"Wait, really?" Ames asked taking off her helmet.

Zog facepalmed himself, "Curses, of course the air is habitable, with all this plant life its obvious," He cursed himself.

Everyone else began to take off his or her helmets, but Raph angrily threw his at Donnie. "Donnie, are you telling me we could breathe the entire time?!" He demanded.

"Back off my shell man!" Donnie retorted before Raph shoved his helmet in his gut.

"Finally, yes!" Olly could fight freely now without worrying about cracking his own helmet as he took out both axe and lashed out at Demon coming his way. Alopex then sped around and fought off many Space Demons as she could.

Donnie shocked one Demon with his staff but got smacked in the back by another Demon that sent him crashing onto a tree before falling backwards onto a nest of thorns, causing him to comically fall up and down, landing in the thorns repeatedly.

Casey laughed at Donnie's expense only for Keno to back into him as a Demon forced her back. "Stay out of my way, Jones!" He told him as he attacked the Demon.

"No way, you stay out of Casey Jones' way!" Casey shot back as he went after him and they both ended up running past Robyn, knocking her over into a tree.

"Robyn!" Miwa said in concern before she was knocked down by Jenny.

Olly stood up as Mikey was about to hit him but Leo bumped into them, which is causing for the others to bump into each other as they bump into each other and being knocked down.

Mikey then stepped on one of the demons. "Cowabunga!" He cheered but saw no demons left as he put his weapons away, but Leo tackled him as the others are then fighting each other in a bit of rage.

"Everyone stop!" Naomi called as they turned to her, "You have to calm down. It's not you that wants to harm yourselves, it's the world that's causing you all this anger,"

Olly stood up while clenching his fists. "The rage! It's so hard to control!" He exclaimed, trying to control his anger.

"Then focus it on them!" Zog pointed toward the sky to see many more Space Demons flying toward them. Olly was about to shoot his laser gun at them, but Honeycutt stopped him.

"There's too many! Run for your very lives!" Fugitoid yelled.

And that was exactly what they did. They all ran as fast as they could with the Space Demons right at their heels. They ducked and rolled under the tree branches and foliage as they continued to run.

"They're gaining on us!" Zog called as they kept running while ducking through some trees.

The group had made it to a clearing, but the Demons stopped in their tracks when the group came before a large stone totem pole. The Demons roared and snarled at them before turning around and flying away.

"They… why would they run away?" Alopex asked.

April turned around and saw the stone totem pole. "That statue…"

Ames and Mikey then rushed to the statue, hugging it tightly, "Yes! Thank you statue!" Mikey cheered.

"You saved our lives!" Ames cheered next as Zog and Fugitoid looked at the statue.

"What is it?" Alopex asked.

"It's a depiction of the Aeons. The beings that fled this world." Honeycutt answered.

"It appears these demons drove them off long before we arrived," Zog said with a serious look. "Which explains why this planet has been reduced to this nightmare."

"Well that's a total bummer." Casey commented.

"Bummer?!" Olly questioned. "Look what happened to their world?!" The green-clad Turtle gestured to the environment around them. "You have about as much sensitivity as a rabid dog!"

"Hey, just because you're the leader doesn't mean you have to get into everyone's-" Leo was cut off when Olly punched him in the face, which shocked him and the others.

"Enough of that leader stuff, Leo! You never had what it takes to be leader!" Olly yelled out in anger. "You're self-righteous! Base all your decision off a cartoon and most of all: I'm better than you."

This shocked the others as Leo gave a hurtful chuckle. "Oh, you know something, Turtle Prince, I have to disagree with you on that one!" He yelled as he tried to attack Olly, but the others held him back as he drew his swords and gave a yell as he charged at Olly, but the green-clad turtle quickly grab Leo in a brotherly hug, which shocked him frozen.

"Leo, I love you, bro." Olly said softly as Leo realized what he tried to do as he calmed down.

"Olly. I-I'm sorry. I…" Leo started as he dropped his swords. "I don't know where they were from."

"It's this planet," Olly told him. "For some reason, it keeps messing with our heads. Drawing in our negative impulses. We gotta remember that, we have to focus on what's important."

Ames then saw something above the statue. "Guys, look at the statue." She pointed up as they looked up and saw the gem part of the statue glowed and pointed the way. "It's glowing and pointing the way."

"Well, let's see where it takes us." Olly declared.

Elsewhere; Mozar and his Triceraton soldiers continued to look through the forest, but their captain was becoming greatly annoyed.

"Fools!" Mozar exclaimed. "I should throw you all in the games for such incompetence! Where is the fragment?!" He back-slapped one of his soldiers to knock him down before crushing the scanner previously in the soldier's hands with his foot. "Bah! Your technology is worthless here!"

"Captain Mozar sir, it is the planet that is infuriating you! Not our tech…" His scanner was shot out of his hands by Mozar's blaster.

"Next time it will be you Zaras!" Mozar warned as he took a quick breath to calm himself.

Another soldier spoke up as he looked at his own device. "I'm getting a signal sir. It appears to be… a cyborg?" He said in surprise.

Mozar realized what he was talking about. "The Fugitoid. He must be after the fragment as well! Track him, Lieutenant Zolvax, and pray he will lead us to our prize," He ordered.

The heroes had followed the beam of light that shinned toward the top of an ancient pyramid. Once the group saw it, they gazed up in awe and surprise.

"Whoa… That's some temple…" Keno breathed.

"It's… amazing!" Naomi exclaimed with a smile.

"Did the Aeons make this?" Tal asked.

"I would think so." Donnie nodded.

"Why did we come here though?" Miwa asked. "Why here of all places?"

"If I had to guess, the black hole piece." Leo said seriously.

"It might be loaded with traps. So stay alert guys." Olly advised.

Jenny shrugged, "Come on, how bad could it be?" She asked as they walked into the temple before the door slammed shut, trapping them in darkness, "I just pulled a Mikames didn't I?" She asked dully.

"Can we just drop that name please?" Ames questioned as Fugitoid used his eyes to give them some light.

"Wow, amazing," Robyn said in awed.

"It's definitely alien," Donnie observed the hieroglyphics on the walls around them.

Zog looked at a set of hieroglyphics as well. "What does it say, Professor?"

Honeycutt began to translate it. "It's in ancient Aeonian. Ahem. 'When the Soul-Star… reaches the mountain peek… eh… the light of the Aeons… shall illuminate all." He translated.

"What does that mean?" Vee questioned as Casey eyed a panel on the wall.

"Yo, what do you think this does?" He wondered as he was about to press it.

"Casey no!" Olly tried to stop him, but he already pressed it, resulting in a saw-blade coming out of the wall to cut off one of Fugitoid's arms.

"Oh dear." Honeycutt commented, seeing where his arm was cut.

"It sets off a trap you idiot!" Alopex exclaimed with a glare as more saws appeared.

"Run!" Olly called as they all ran down the hallway while avoiding the saw-blades as they made it through the closing door as Olly gave Casey a glare. "Casey! Why… did you… press a button… in an… unknown… TEMPLE!?" He yelled with a glare. "Haven't you learned that in any ancient temples, they would have booby traps and something to trigger them?!"

"I-I Just thought…" Casey stammered, twiddling his fingers.

"He hasn't been paying attention in school has he?" Robyn questioned with a brow to her sister.

"Not even to lift a book or flip a single page." April said with her arms crossed.

"Here's a tip. If you see something that is pressable or pull levers and you don't know what they do, don't touch them!" Olly snapped.

"And if you can't, then no more important missions for you, Jones," Miwa told him sternly.

"Okay, I get it. That was completely my bad." Casey apologized with a guilty look.

"I hate to interrupt this scolding, but can we focus on the mission now?" Zog questioned as he sniffed the air. "The piece of the Heart of Darkness is just beyond this hallway."

As they kept walking April turned to Casey with a look, "We're talking about this when we get back. With our planet at risk we can't have any room for mistakes," She told him.

"Y-Yeah. Yeah. I get it." Casey nodded as he looked down in guilt as they continued on.

After a few moments of walking through the frozen hallway, the group entered a massive chamber. Once they did, they saw a large pyramid-shaped altar in the center, and at the top of it, was the thing they were looking for.

Honeycutt gave an astonished gasp. "There it is."

"The first piece of the Black Hole generator!" April gasped.

"A piece of the Heart of Darkness, right before us." Zog said with a glare, still having issues with it having destroyed his home planet.

"Let's grab it and go!" Jenny called.

"Wait, wait a minute," Naomi spoke up, stopping them from rushing towards. "Aren't you wondering why it's on an alter? A piece of technology in a temple built by a raise who never had any form of technology, does no one find that suspicious?"

"Who cares!" Raph called. "We found it first! We rule!" He cheered as he rushed past her as they all cheered as well as they ran up to the Black Hole piece.

"By the luck of the great Zanmoran." The group turned around and many of them gave audible gasp at the sight of Mozar and his troops walking into the chamber. "It is not Mozar who finds the fugitive android and collects the first fragment of the Empire's prize but our honorary Sargent, Zog." Mozar said, gesturing to Zog.

"Captain Mozar!" Zog called in shock. "You're… You're here."

"Soldier you have done well revealing the location of the last Kraang outpost and for locating the Heart of Darkness," Mozar complimented, "Now, retrieve the fragment and return with us to the empire as a hero," He instructed, holding out his hand.

Zog gave a nervous expression as he turned to his friends who gave him confident looks which he mirrored and turned back to captain, "I'm sorry sir, but I cannot comply. I will not allow another world to suffer the fate we did just in the name of defeating the Kraang," Zog said as Mozar gave an unreadable expression, "I have seen first hand the abilities of these warriors and they have stopped the Kraang's invasion not just once but twice. Perhaps together we can defeat the Kraang once and for all without the cost of others."

Mozar and his men looked at each other, "You speak with an honorable heart, Sargent," One soldier said.

"But we have our orders and we are honor bound to survive the empire to our last breath," Mozar told them, "So I plead to you, choose to stand with your brethren or dare to choose the alternative," He warned.

"I already stand with my brethren," Zog rebutted as he and the Hamato Teens armed themselves, "If you want the Heart of Darkness Captain, you will have to strike us down first,"

Mozar saw they would not back down and nodded with a serious look. "Then this will be an honorable execution." He said before ordering his men without turning to them, "Obliterate them!"

The Triceratons then started firing lasers at them as Zog gave a roar as he charged at them. "Booyakasha!" Mikey yelled as he jumped from the altar and landed on the back of another Triceraton to knock him down. He tried to smack around the mutant Turtle, only for Raph, Ames, and Jenny to come in and lash his sais at the soldier to knock him back.

"Wretched Terrapin!" The Triceraton cursed as the four turtles charged at him.

Zog charged up at Mozar as the two then clashed horns before Mozar managed to pin him to the wall as he backed away from the soldier and nodded as Zog got up and rushed back into battle.

The others are then using their powers, skills, and weapons to fight off the Triceratons as best they could. "Oh my Clod!" Honeycutt ran for his life from the fifth soldier before he found himself in the corner. The Fugitoid fell out of the way as the Triceraton rammed into the wall. It loomed over Honeycutt, who shifted his entire body using his four appendages like a tripod and exposing his fusion core for just a brief second…

BOOM!

The others turned where boom was only to see the professor standing next to burnt spot where the Triceraton was and giving an innocent wave, "Wow," Miwa commented with wide eyes.

"You, you totally disintegrated him!" Keno exclaimed in shock.

"Only in self-defense I assured you!" Fugitoid quickly said. "It was my fusion core after all!"

"Okay… back to the battle!" Keno called as they kept fighting the Triceratons.

However, Mozar managed to escape Zog as he rushed up the stairs and was in front of the black hole piece. "At last." He said as he was about to grab it, but he felt someone pulling on his tail as he turned in confusion as he saw Donnie grabbing his tail. "What?" Mozar simply flicked his tail to send Donnie flying off the altar and onto the ground.

"Donnie!" Tal called as Mozar took the fragment and put it over his shoulder and leapt down onto the ground.

"The first fragment belongs to the Triceraton Empire!" He and the three surviving Triceratons opened fire with their guns to keep the heroes at bay as they made their way to the exit where two of the soldiers placed bombs near the doorway. "It has been sent in stone." He pressed a trigger, causing the bombs to blow up and block the only exit, trapping everyone inside.

"And now it is sealed in stone. Triceratons, back to the ships!" Mozar ordered as he and his soldiers began to take their leave.

"MOZAR!" Zog yelled as he was slamming on the blocked tunnel as the room shook.

"Zog! Stop! You'll only make this place go down faster!" Olly called out as Zog calmed down and took a breather.

"I'm sorry." Zog apologized. "We have lost the first piece."

"It's okay, soldier. We'll get it back." Raph assured him while patting Zog on the hand. "Yo, Fug, think you can move this cave in?!"

"I can try." Honeycutt said as he used some form of gravity beam to try and move some more debris out of the way, but stumbled a bit. "Apologies, low on power… Must find another way out."

"Leo, think you can open one of your portals out of here?" Olly asked the blue-clad ninja.

"After what we've experienced and been angry on the way here, I don't wanna risk using my powers." Leo said to him. "Who knows what effects they could have here."

"Alright, Raph start digging," Olly told the Red-clad turtles.

"Okay." Raph said as he ready his powers. "When I get my hands on those horn-headed freaks…"

"You dig, we'll search a back door to this place." Leo said as they searched around as Robyn and April looked at the spire in wonder.

The Triceratons had made it outside the pyramid, with the intent on carrying the fragment back to their ships. "It is mine to possess!" Mozar said proudly. "The Emperor will make me an admiral for this!"

One soldier heard some strange noises from behind and turned around to see something that made him a bit nervous. "Captain Mozar, look!"

More than a hundred Space Demons swarmed the skies and shot down towards the Triceratons, who glared in response and armed themselves with their weapons.

Back inside, the group looked all around as best they could for some other form of exit, but they couldn't.

"Come on!" Leo feels his hands along the wall. "Trap door… secret passage…"

"We're losing time!" Tal said. "They're getting away!"

Robyn and April walked up to the top of the spire as they felt a sensation on their heads as they moved their hands to a big blue button on the wall as they pressed it. Which caused the entire chamber to begin to shake, which startled the girls as they fell down and the pillar came down.

The others saw this. "Girls!" Alopex called as they rushed up to the O'Neil sisters to where the pyramid once stood. They looked downward to find the structure hadn't actually collapsed, but rather came down inward, revealing some other chamber underneath the floor.

"We're okay!" April waved her hand in assurance while Robyn gave a thumbs up, much to everyone's relief as they all climbed or jumped down to help them up.

Miwa however noticed something. "What's that?" The group looked at something that was embedded in the stone. It looked like a large gemstone shaped like a four-long-pointed star with a stone ring around in the middle of it

"Professor?" Keno asked Honeycutt who looked in amazement.

"It's the Soul Star! The symbol of the Aeons! Containing the power of life itself!" The Professor said.

"So it was hidden away and the entire world turned evil in the darkness." Alopex said while rubbing her chin.

"I think I get it now." Robyn said seriously. "''When the Soul Star reaches the mountain's peak, the light of the Aeons shall illuminate all!'" She recites while looking at the top of the tower.

"So what does that mean?" Mikey asked in confusion.

"It means we put it where it belongs, Mikey." Ames translated as Robyn and April pulled the star out, which created a passage on the side.

"Back on top of the temple, I suspect." Zog deduced.

"Let's move, gang!" Olly called as they rushed out of the temple.

Back outside, Mozar and two of his soldiers shot their laser guns at the Space Demons that began to swarm around them, while another soldier held the fragment. Mozar knew that this was a waste of time. The longer they waited here, the more likely the Fugitoid and his allies could escape and catch up with them.

"Back to the ships! We have the fragment!" Mozar ordered his men as they made a break for their landing zone with their prize.

The others then exit the temple. "If we can reach the top, we think it will drive off the demons." April said. "At least, we hope."

"You hope?!" Raph questioned as he and Jenny turned to the O'Neil sisters.

"You two could be totally wrong if it doesn't work!" Jenny snapped.

"It's better than nothing," Naomi said before they heard screeching and looked up to see the Bat Demons flying towards them, "Oh no, not them again,"

"Move soldiers! Move!" Zog called as they rushed up to the top of the temple before Olly and Leo turned and saw the Triceratons in the distance.

"No! The Triceratons are getting away!" Olly yelled out.

"Along with the fragment!" Leo added.

"We have to do this, guys." April said to them.

"It's not just about saving our world. It's about saving all worlds." Robyn said with seriousness as a Space Demon got in front of the sisters and roared at them.

"Girls! Toss it to me!" Alopex called as she raised her arms. April and Robyn tossed the crystal to Alopex as she rushed up.

"Hurry, Alopex!" The Fugitoid called before he screamed when he was grabbed and dropped down from the stairs of the temple.

Alopex zigzagged up the stairs, as the demons tried to dive down and stop her but she dodged and they crashed against the temple. "You go, girlfriend!" Jenny called out as she used her powers to speed around while she and the others did their best to fight off the Speed Demons.

"Alopex, hurry, we can't hold them off forever!" Keno called as he and Casey whacked the demons away.

"Hurrying!" Alopex called before a demon flew to the side and grabbed her right as April and Robyn are at the top. "Girls, catch!" She called as she tossed the star to the O'Neil sisters.

"Let's go, April!" Robyn declared.

"Right behind you, sister." April nodded before the Space Demons came up behind them as they rushed up to the spot where the star should be as they tried to blast the demons away, but they kept swarming them as they dived down straight towards them. "Robyn, hold them off! I'll place the star in!"

"On it!" Robyn called as she took out her blaster and started firing on the demons. April took the chance and put the star in the spot, which created a blue shockwave that sends the demons back as it spread across the planet, turning into a green beautiful forest.

The others made it to the top as they saw the space demons glowing. "It's working!" Olly called as they felt their negativity faded.

"Ugh, it felt like a huge weight off my brain." Leo commented while rubbing her head.

"Now this is more like it," Vee said with a smile towards the beautiful landscape.

They all gazed upwards at the Demons as they began to transform. Their black bodies began to fade away as their appearance evaporated into dust to reveal something else, something much more divine. Where once Hellish Demons stood were now creatures that looked like they were angels straight out of Heaven.

"The Aeons…" Zog muttered in awe.

"Wow, look at that." Ames said with sparkly eyes.

The angelic creatures that are known as the Aeons hovered over the group of heroes and looked upon them in gratitude. "Thank you. You have saved us, from ourselves."

"From 'yourselves'?" April voiced in confusion.

"The Demons were the Aeons the whole time?!" Miwa questioned in surprise.

"What happened here?" Naomi asked the Aeon

"The Utrom gave us the fragment to protect." One Aeon began to explain. "But it's immense power entranced us, we Aeons have never allowed technology on our world before. We desired to know its secrets. We began to worship its technological power, and hid away our beloved soul, thus corrupting our world and us with it. We became monstrous, horrible things."

"And when we hid away our Soul Star, the evil was complete." The lead Aeon held his hand up as he spread his fingers similar to the Vulcan signal for 'Live Long and Prosper'. "Thank you friends. For saving our world."

Then a piece of the Soul Star broke off and floated towards the O'Neil sisters, "Take this gift, it is a tiny fragment of our Soul Star. Alas, we can only offer one piece for only one of you two," The Aeon explained.

Robyn looked at the crystal before smiling and gesturing to her sister. "You take it, sis." She said with a smile. "You placed the Soul Star where it belonged. You've earned it."

"Thanks sis," April smiled as she took the crystal and looked at in wonder.

The Aeons began to fly away. "Goodbye, glowly dudes!" Casey waved to them.

The Ulixies had left the planet and made it back into outer space as they had to get back to their mission.

"Floor it Fugitoid!" Leo ordered. "There's still time to catch up to the Triceratons!"

"Gotta say team, that was some adventure," Keno said with a smile, "Demon Bats, trying to kill each other, Ancient temple and restoring an entire planet," He recounted.

"My kind of Adventure," Jenny added with a grin.

Olly crossed his arms and frowned in concern, "To think just that one fragment of the most dangerous machine in the universe could've turned that beautiful planet into that horror show," He said.

"Those Ultrom made a big mistake when they trusted the fragment with those guys." Raph commented.

"Yeah. If ancient cosmic beings were transformed like that, I guess that goes to show that anyone can be corrupted by power." Donnie said in worry.

"And if the first Fragment did that to the Aeons," Naomi started in concern.

"Who knows what's happened to the other fragments' protectors," Miwa said forebodingly.

"All the more reason we must recapture that fragment and find the other two, for Earth and all planets," Zog declared as they all nodded in agreement.

"Then we best prepare ourselves. Who knows what lies ahead in our quest for the pieces other than the Triceratons." Olly said seriously.

April wasn't listening however as she was looking at the aeon crystal with a smile. Robyn turned when she heard the others said that and had a concerned look. They may have lost the first piece of the Black Hole Generator, but they saved an entire race and planet from corruption and gained a gift that would help April in the future…if she didn't let it get to her head that is.

In case you didn't notice, I've made Mozar a tad more mentally stable and honorable than his canon version, more or less like his version in the 2003 series.

Will this effect the story going forward, stay tuned.
