Slider sighed contently as he laid back onto the roof of his car, turned slightly to look at his friend Matt who was laying next to him. They'd spent the day saving Cyberspace once again, and the girls plus digit had already returned to their homes. When Slider felt hesitancy from the boy Earthlie about returning home he invited him to hang out, and to his enjoyment, Matt had said yes.
"it's kinda weird how you don't have stars and other planets here." Matt commented gesturing generally towards the sky, making Slider snort.
"Stars and planets...?" The Radster raised an eyebrow, not fully understanding what he was talking about.
Matt turned to him looking slightly exasperated but mostly gleeful at realizing he knew something that Slider didn't. "Back home on my farm, when it's dark out and you look up you can see millions of bright, twinkling stars and planets in the sky. They're all throughout space and pretty cool to look at during the night." He tried explaining.
Slider tilted his head and hummed in thought, a small smile on his face. Pointing to a glittering shape in the sky Slider laughed, "Gollywood is looking pretty twinkling tonight." He nudged Matt, grinning as the boy laughed and gave him a push back. Pointing to a strip of code floating through the sky Slider beamed, "That's the Coded Belt! It's the main fabric of Cyberspace, always moving as it continues to write itself as each day goes by." He pointed at a deep blue, pulsing light in the sky. "Control Central, no matter where you are in Cyberspace, you can always find it in the sky at night." He had a soft, sleepy smile on his face. "I don't know about stars and all that but we have some pretty cool stuff to see at night in our skies too!" Turning to look at his friend, they made eye contact with a grin.
Matt turned to look back up at the twinkling Cybersites and code. Cyberspace was always surprising him, but this was a nice surprise. Gently punching Slider in the arm Matt gave him a tired smile. "Thanks for showing me this Sly, I needed this after this long day." He quickly got an arm punch back as the Radster grinned at his younger companion.
"Anytime dude, and maybe one day you can show me those twinkling stars you're so fond of."
