Chapter: Eight

Note: I'm really sorry it took so long to get this chapter out!

I had a really bad case of writers block and I've been trying to write this next chapter for a long time but nothing came to mind and I really hope this chapter is good but I can say I wrote a lot for the next chapter...

Orion's POV

I took a deep breath before taking a sip of my fire whiskey while looking over some new documents I got earlier today on my desk hoping I can find something, anything I could use to get that... Vile disgusting woman... Far away from my children and so far I still haven't found anything useful I can use to separate her from my family without leaving an evidence trail right back to me... I definitely don't want a bunch of useless Ministry worker's getting involved in my business and if things don't go the way I want them to, and they end up taking Regulus and Hermione away from me I don't trust that they won't go to the right people. Regulus would probably go to a family that would force him to take the dark mark and Hermione would be forced into a marriage contract with some low life pure blood that I know will never deserve her...

I was starting to get another one of my daily migraines in the middle of my head and I knew I wouldn't be able to fully concentrate on what I have in front of me for much longer. So I made the decision to turn in early for the night and as I was closing the book I suddenly spotted a very old spell that I didn't know or remember existing before this moment. The more I'm looking at this spell the more this spell could be very useful for what I need to get rid of my problem.

" This could work " I whisper to myself but I know I need to do more research about this spell before I could put it into action. So without another thought I fully closed the book and placed it safely in my desk with a locking charm, just to make sure no one but me can get to this book.

Sirius POV

As we made our way out of the Transfiguration class room I made my way down to Dumbledore's office so I can pick up Hermione's things and to also pass her over to Regulus since it is his turn to pick her up after our lesson's today. As I was turning the last corner that leads to Dumbledore's office I noticed Regulus was almost to the gargoyle

" REGULUS " I softly yelled to get his attention and when he turned around I noticed he looked extremely confused when he saw I holding Hermione

" I thought today was my turn to pick Mia up? " Regulus asked with his normal blank face but I noticed the confusion and hurt in his eyes

" It's your turn "

" Then why is Mia with you then? "

" Mia said Dumbledore had something to do out of his office and they were walking through the halls when Mia here saw something shinny and decided to investigate what it was but then she got lost and was wondering around the hall's by herself... James noticed her first when she was walking slowly past Minnie's room and when I turned around I saw her crying and she looked extremely scared I ran out of the room, to make sure she was okay... When I got her to calm down enough she told me what happened " I say while also rubbing small circles on Hermione's back to help keep her calm and to let her know she did nothing wrong while I told Regulus everything I know and after a couple of minutes to let all that sink it I added " Long story short Minnie said she could stay with me since we were only taking notes and it the last lesson of the day... But I think she only allowed it because of how scared Mia looked "

" How are you feeling Mia? " Regulus gently asks after a couple of seconds

" I okay " Hermione mumbles while hugging her teddy bear a little bit closer to herself

" Would you like to come with me or do you want to stay with Sirius? " Regulus asks with a small smile

" C-Can I stay with b-both please? " Hermione nervously said as she was hugging her teddy bear even tighter to herself

" I don't mind having some family time... Do you Reggie? " I say/ ask while I was bouncing Hermione up and down a little causing her to giggle

" I don't mind either... What would our little Mia like to do? " Regulus says with a small smile

" Umm can we go outside and read Reggie? " Hermione softly says/ asks with that little pout she always uses when ever she thinks we'll say no to her even though we normally never say no to anything she asks

" Of course we can little one! " Regulus softly says as he tucked some loose hair behind her little ear " Now we can either go up and get one of the books from your bag or we can take a small trip to the library and find a new book their... What do you want to do? " Regulus adds with a bigger smile when Hermione gasped when he mentioned the library and I couldn't help but lightly laugh at her reaction and I already knew what her answer is going to be

" The library please! " Hermione says with the biggest smile on her little face

" The library sounds perfect " Regulus says making Hermione smile even bigger if that was even possible

" Why don't you two head to the library and pick something out while I head up and grab Mia's stuff and I'll meet you down there " I say before handing Hermione over to Regulus

" But... Bu-But Siri " Hermione starts saying with some small sniffles

" Hey don't worry I wont be gone long... I just need to grab your things and I'll meet you over there "

" Promise " Hermione says while she snuggled a little more into Regulus

" I promise Mia " I say with a big smile and after a couple of minutes Regulus and I made a solid plan on where to meet back up and then we went our separate ways with Regulus and Hermione to the library and I made my way up to Dumbledore's office to get Hermione's things.
