Quick Note: I've been wanting to do a Criminal Minds story for a very long time now, mostly a story based on Penelope Garcia and Derek Morgan. True they are just friends on the show. But in Fanfiction I totally ship them. So I hope everyone likes this one! This is totally an Au story. There's gonna be a lot of happiness, a few arguments, but a lot of loving between these two. So, sit back and just enjoy the ride. By the way, I don't own the characters. Just a few Characters of mine own!

Pulling in front of JJ's house, Penelope Garcia turned off the engine and unbuckles her seatbelt. She sat back against her seat as she closed her eyes and started to breathe in and out as she was calming herself down. Just an hour ago Penelope found her boyfriend of four years in bed with another woman. Penelope shuddered as she reaches into her purse and pulls out a small mirror. After she wiped her tears and fixed her make-up. She pulled her keys out of the ignition and grabs her purse as she got out of her car, walking up to JJ'S front door.

JJ had just put Henry down for bed when she heard a knock coming from her front door. She glances over at the time as she wasn't' really expecting any company tonight. Walking towards the door and once she pulls it open and saw Penelope standing outside her door at nine pm on a Friday night. JJ knew something wasn't right.

" Penelope, what are you doing here?" JJ asked with concern.

" Got anything strong to drink?" Penelope asks as she walked in and passed JJ and headed straight into her kitchen. Once Penelope found what she was looking for. She grabbed a glass from JJ'S cupboard and poured herself a glass of whiskey. Once she took a drink and slams the glass down Penelope heavily sighs as she started to speak." Kevin cheated on me." She blurted out.

" Oh, my God. Are you serious?" JJ asks as she sat down on the stool by the kitchen counter. " How did you find out?"

" Just an hour ago. I came over to his place to surprise him. I mean it's been a very busy three months. With the new cases and of course the long hours, Kevin and I barely had any time together. So, tonight I decided to go over to his place to spend some quality time with him. I was going to cook him dinner... and spend the night with him." Penelope says as she took a huge gulp of her drink. She then huffs as she set the glass down.

" Let me guess, the surprise ended to be on you," JJ says as she watches her best friend for a moment.

Penelope snorts as she pinches the bridge of her nose as she shakes her head." That's an understatement. When I walked into his little apartment. Some skinny blonde bitch walked out of his bathroom, with nothing but a towel on." Penelope says as she shudders and groans in disgust.

" So, what did you do?"

" Well, I shoved the bag of ingredients that I was gonna use for our dinner, hard against his chest. Told him to go to hell and I walked out of his place, before he could explain. Then I ended up here." Penelope says as she finishes her drink and then pours herself another drink.

" Well, if you want. You can crash here on my couch tonight." JJ offered.

" I... I don't know. I mean I really don't wanna be a burden. Besides are you sure Will won't mind?" Penelope asked as she didn't wanna be in the way or anything.

" Oh yeah, it will be fine. Besides Will is out of town. He had to go back to Louisiana to help out on a case. Just crash on the couch tonight and we can ride to Quantico together in the morning." JJ suggested.

Penelope nods her head as she pours another glass." Thanks, JJ." She said with a small smile.

After her quick shower and after she got dressed in extra PJs that JJ lends to her. Penelope got under the covers and got settled on the couch. She reaches for her cell to see if she got anything. When she noticed she got a few text messages and missed calls from Kevin. Penelope groans in irritation and just deleted the text messages without reading them. Once she shut her cell off and set it back on the coffee table. Penelope fell asleep.

Walking down the hall towards her technical analysis room. Penelope noticed Kevin walking up to her. Penelope huffs and rolled her eyes as she continues to walk right past him without stopping. Quickly opening and closing the door as she quickly stepped in. Walking straight to her desk. Penelope dropped her bag on her desk as she dropped down in her chair.

" Penelope, we need to talk about last night," Kevin says as soon as he burst into her office like he owns the place.

Penelope snorts shaking her head." No, we don't. I got absolutely nothing to say to you. Not now, not ever. Let me be very clear." Penelope says as she got up and jams her index finger hard against his chest." We are done, I never want to see you, talk to you, or hear from you ever again. If I catch you in here again or around my apartment again, I am gonna hack into you're computer and place a very huge virus." Penelope says as she jerked the door open and shoves Kevin out.

" Penelope I..." But before Kevin could at least finish that sentence. Penelope had already slammed the door in his face.

" Hey, man. Is everything alright with you?" Derek asked Kevin as he noticed Kevin seems down about something. Derek usually doesn't like to get into middle of things. But he can't help himself.

" Um... yeah, man everything is fine. Penelope is just a little upset with me. That's all." Kevin responded with a nervous laugh as he rubs the back of his neck.

" Want me to talk to her?"

" Nah, she'll calm down. We'll be fine." Kevin says as he nods his head and walked past Derek and headed towards his office. Kevin knows he screwed up big time especially after last night. But he can't let Derek know.

Derek opens the door and pokes his head in." Hey, baby girl. Can I come in?"

Penelope looked up as she smiles brightly and nods her head."You know you're always welcome to come in." What's up?" Penelope asked as she sat up straight and folded her fingers together. Penelope and Derek have a very special bond like no other. They have this connection that nobody can't break. But lately, Penelope has been developing these feelings for Derek and she's not sure what to do about it. Or even sure if they are real or not.

" I just saw Kevin out in the hallway and he seems pretty upset about something. Did, something happened between you two?" Derek asked as he walked in and closed the door behind him.

" I don't want to talk about it," Penelope says as she turned her head away from him as she closed her eyes as she kept the tears at bay.

" Penelope.." Derek gently grabs her chin and turns her face towards him." Baby girl, open your eyes and look at me." Derek says softly.

Penelope breathes in and out deeply as she slowly opens her eyes and looks up at him but still doesn't say anything. She just looks at him silently. So silently as she could hear her own heart beating fast.

" You know, you can tell me anything right?"

" Yeah, I know handsome." Penelope responded as she gave him a small smile." And, when I am ready to tell you, I will. I promise." Penelope says as she crossed her heart and giggles softly.

Derek was going to say something else when the door open and Reid popped his head in.

" Hey sorry to interrupt guys. But we got another case. Hotch is waiting for us."

" Well, I guess we shouldn't keep the boss waiting," Penelope says jokingly as she got up and walked out with Derek right behind her. Feeling her heart starting to beat faster as she felt him following closely behind her. Penelope took a deep breath as she ignored her heart.

" Good morning everyone, let's all get started," Hotch said as soon as the team sat around the table and JJ started to show images of their next case...
