All was quiet in the house of the Robotnik family, it was in the late evening hour, and not a single creature seemed to be stirring. Nora Robotnik, mother to the madman Doctor Ivo "Eggman" Robotnik was sound asleep in her room, feeling at peace, with nothing to disturb her at this time of the night.
A low hum filled the halls, and a green light flashed across the floor as a dark hedgehog appeared. Shadow, a known troublemaker and the world's Ultimate Life Form. Shadow pulled out a large wand, which sported a lightning bolt insignia and crackled with energy.
Shadow's goal:
To blast Eggman's mother, and humiliate the mad doctor, because Shadow didn't like the villainous scientist and Eggman was that person who deserved to be embarrassed.
Eggman didn't visit his mother that much, but the villain still loved her, and they talked on the phone every week while chatting on Twitter... depending on how much time they had. Shadow crept his way down the hall, silently moving towards the bedroom, while holding the lightning rod gently in his hand.
It was fully-charged, primed and ready to be wielded, and Shadow knew how much he intended to hit Nora with. She wouldn't see it coming, but she would still be alive by the time Shadow was gone and finished with his task.
'That scrub never saw it coming.' Shadow thought.
He pushed open the half-ajar door, and tiptoed into the bedroom, seeing his target asleep on the bed in her nightdress as if she didn't seem to worry about what was coming. Shadow raised his lightning rod, smirked evilly, and flicked it without another word. The artifact glowed, and a flash filled the room as a torrent of lightning shot forth, blasting Nora in her bed.
A dozen volts of electricity coursed around Eggman's mother, electrocuting her, and causing the elderly woman's hair to frizz up. Shadow stifled a giggle, and he departed the room as fast as possible. Shadow snuck down the hall, and made his way out the backdoor without a sound.
"Chaos Control!" Shadow whispered.
The black hedgehog vanished in a flash of green, and all was silent in the household of Robotnik, all except for the crackling of electricity and the shriek of an electrocuted mother. Nora was awake, and she looked at the bed, seeing it was smoking. The fire alarm went off, and she leaped out of her sheets, shaking with shock, and shivering as her skin tingled.
Who would do such a thing, and why would they scorch the bed while giving her the shock, Nora rubbed her head, and lay back upon her comforters before going back into sleep as her consciousness slipped away for the rest of the night.
Bright and early the next morning, Doctor Eggman entered the computer room of his lair, laughing with glee before yawning. He was pressed and dressed, ready to plot something despicable, but the villain was more than eager to look at social media before he continued with his gleeful brand of evil.
"Let's log on to Twitter, shall we?" Eggman declared.
He breathed in fresh air flowing in from a window, and sat down at his super computer. Eggman tuned into the internet browser of his choice, and turned on Twitter, with his thoughts on his beloved mother.
Eggman clicked onto her Twitter account, and was puzzled as he saw one of her tweets. She seemed to be talking about getting struck by lightning in the middle of the night, which made no sense. It seemed Eggman's elderly mother was having strange dreams, but there was something that felt off.
The doctor noticed a security notification, which related to the security feed in his family home. Eggman clicked on it, and security footage of the house at night cropped up. He observed, and was shocked to see a black hedgehog with a lightning rod enter Nora's bedroom.
"WHAT THE HECK?!" Eggman yelled, "WHAT ARE YOU DOING, SHADOW?!"
And he watched with shock as Shadow blasted his mother with the power of the lightning rod. Rage welled within the mad doctor, and Eggman stood up, his fists shaking with anger. How could Shadow do such a thing like that, did he think he could get away with bringing harm to the mother of a genius?
Just then, a text message popped up, with the notification indicating it was from Shadow. Eggman read the message, his fist clenched harder, and Shadow's notice said; "I blasted your mother, Eggman!"
"GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH! I HATE THAT HEDGEHOG!" Eggman raged, he was going to make that black hedgehog regret his actions, and his retaliation would be all the more satisfying. Eggman shut down his computer, and thought about his evil space station. It was time to unleash a new weapon...
