Chapter 1 - The Recovery And The Next 4 Years...
Death immediately came to his mistress' side when he heard her pain filled cry for help. His fury grew to unimaginable levels, at seeing her barely alive he picked, he picked her up gently and teleported directly to Stormheart's office. "Stormheart! We need your help!"
Stormheart looked up, to see Death but what caught his attention was the bloody child in his arms, he quickly got up from his desk and headed out the door, "Follow me, quickly." He led the way to healer's wing. "Hurry inform the King and Queen!" He shouted at a quard.
Death placed her on a bed and removed her bindings, then stepped back to allow the healers to help her. The King and Queen raced into the room with the queen taking control of the situation. While the king directed Death and Stormheart to table out of the way.
"Death, what happened to her?" Ragnarok asked him.
Death sat down with a heavy heart, "When I had to return her that place, I couldn't have contact her or Fate would have interfered. Hoshiko ordered Hydra to leave two weeks ago, she wasn't told why but she didn't have to. Each of us that have bond with her felt her being in constant pain for the two weeks. Today all of us were waiting for her, but the last 3 hours she was in so much pain and then came the disowning. We all could feel it but it was like an itch to us, even though she was in great pain, she shielded us to preventing us from fully feeling her pain."
"Even when she's is so much pain, she wouldn't let her bonded take some of her pain away. She's a very strong for one so young," Ragnarok's respect for her increasing, Stormheart nodded with his king his respect for the child also increased. They then fell into an uneasy silence all praying for the little one.
As they waited Stormheart gave Death the rest of the paperwork regarding her nine family estates and the nine bank cards, which were already active as they used the soiled bandages last time to prevent any hassles or trouble from happening. Including her immigration status of moving from England to the United States, her green card and passport. Plus her papers declaring her status as a US citizen.
It was four hours later that the queen walked over to them and practically collapsing into the chair next to her husband covered in the little girl's blood.
"She's stable, but her injures are horrific. The wounds to her throat... her collars protected the neck veins but left the front her neck vulnerable. That filth slashed it twice both cuts deep completely destroying her vocal cords. Lady Black will never speak again." Diamonddust whispered as tears fell from her eyes, getting sharp gasps from the men. "The rest of her injuries were worse then last time. Many broken bones, several concussions, lacerations, whip marks, mores scars, and another word carved onto her flesh, the word "Abomination" was a carved from her hip to her shoulder parallel the other one and just as deep." She reported, her eyes never leaving her bloodstained hands.
Death held his head down in shame, silently cursed Fate. The king held her being mindful of the blood on her, Stormheart was completely numb unable to even speak.
Five Hours Later
Hoshiko slowly awoke, her ancestors visited her within her mind, they taught her everything knew from martial arts, weapons, guns, magic, mage arts, healing both magic and mundane, and most importantly how to sign and to read it. They said they'll come back to continue with their lessons.
She couldn't help but cry again, she'd kept her promise to her dogfather, Sirius, despite everything. Yes, she hated the Potters yet she wouldn't let her bonded feel the entirety of the to protect them. Her body is cover in scars That James and Lily Potter inflicted upon her. The bruising and broken bones were sometimes made by the twins but their parents can have the full credit. Hoshiko is truly free from them.
A healer came to check on her, "Lady Black how are you feeling?" she asked her.
Hoshiko test her arms which thankfully didn't hurt anymore, and signed "I'm alright, the wound on my back hurts slightly but it's going away. Can I leave soon? I want to go home."
The healer was able to read and understand sign language, "I'm not sure little one, the queen wanted to be informed when you awoke. Can I do that, then I'll be right back."
Hoshiko nodded as she picked up the glass of water by her bed.
The healer named, Rosethorn, left. She walked down the hall to the table where the others were talking, when she walked up they saw her.
"What is it, Rosethorn?" Her queen asked.
"Mi 'lady she has woken up. She's also has become quite skilled at sign language," She informed them.
Everyone got up from their seats and walked back to Hoshiko's side, when she saw them she smiled at them, very pleased to see them.
Diamonddust examined her and removed the bandages, to see once again that they had healed completely leaving no new scars thankfully, all of her injuries were healed, while the one on her back had turned into a scar. "You are healed as much as I can do it. Do you want to go home now?"
Hoshiko nodded then brought her hands up to sign, "Plese, I want my pets and out of this country. I don't mind being here in the bank, but I don't want to be here anymore." She whined for once acting her age.
Everyone couldn't help but laugh, each grateful that her spirit and will hadn't been broken at all.
"Mistress, I can take you home now." Death to told her, she nodded as she slowly got off the bed and walked to his side. He took the care package from Diamonddust and placed within his pocket.
"Make sure she takes all her potions, it'll finish healing her insides, fixing the malnourishment, making sure that her growth won't be affected, making her blood healthy, etc. The cream is for skin, it'll heal the underlying inflation and muscles healed up. The scars won't completely heal nor disappear, but the cream can restore nerves allowing her to feel again," Diamonddust instructed them.
"I understand and I'll make sure to take them on time," Hoshiko signed.
"Good, I want to see you again when we have the meeting with the Seiya family manager in a few months."
Hoshiko nodded leaning against Death.
"Thank you," Death thanked them, held Hoshiko close to him and teleports them away.
Seiya-Black House : Shooting Star Castle/Manor
Death appeared in the castle/manor, "The elves and I renovated the mansion into something more suitable to your Japanese heritage as you want to acknowledge your heritage. I wanted to give you more closure and far away from that place. We even made you a Japanese garden, We named it Shooting Star castle. I had them painted the house like the night sky in your honor." He explained, as he showed her the house.
The mansion look exactly like a home out of th feudal era of Japan, Kyoto in design. The wook was varnished black, the walls a midnight blue, the sliding doors got images of animals, night sky, forests, the ocean, and the weather. Although they may look flimsy and weak but they were strong as metal. The main trim around the whole manor isn't red like the authentic structures in Kyoto, were instead a royal purple. Overall it was absolutely breathtaking and beautiful.
'You did all this for me?' She mentally asked him, her eyes wide with awe.
"Yes, mi'lady. We did, I have some other surprises but a few will have wait until you've recovered enough. So let me show what we've decided to call "Kneazle Heaven" because we turned this entire wing (a seventh of the house/an acre) for the Kneazle pride."
They paused momentarily to take off their shoes, the walked to left side of the castle which had multiple openings in the walls for the cats to leave and enter as they wish.
"We also made it so they have access to the upper five floors but not the two lower levels. They're entirely kneazle-proof, this is for their safety but mainly for the kittens. There's a barrier as preventing the kittens from venturing out of that floor until they're around 3 months old. Cloudpelt had her kittens three days ago, there was 5." Death told her as they entered the wing. The kittens and the adults swarmed Hoshiko as she willingly fell in the sea of fluffy fur.
Death smiled as her body shook with her silent laughter, though his eyes were filled with sorrow and rage. Sorrow because none of them will hear her voice again for a few years, until she can unlock her phoenix animagus form, son if she handle it; he knew her ancestors will be visiting while she sleeps teaching and giving her their memories on how to do them. Her beloved father, will visit her a lot to teach her everything he knew. The Resurrection Stone was doing this because the Hollows felt guilty for being unable to protect her from all the abuse. Which her mind being so advance at such a young age, plus her natural ability in the mind magic the intergation of these skills are becoming second nature. While the rage is of course directed art the Potters he couldn't wait till they enter his realm, then can finally have his own retribution upon them.
Two hours later
Hoshiko had fallen asleep on the Alpha male, Fireclaw, and his mate, Kotoha, with their 6 four month old cubs, with many of other cubs surrounding and on top of her, all purring with happiness and love. Making her feel safe for the first time in her entire life. Being surrounded by all the Kneazles, the eggs that haven't hatched yet, the snowy owls, the foxes, the other creatures on the property, and the powerful wards being impowered by Sirius' bloodwards, goblin magic, and Death's powers as well.
That night Hoshiko Bara Peverell-Black-Gryffindor-Slytherin-Hufflepuff-Ravenclaw-Emrys-Le Fey-Seiya, slept without having to be on guard 24/7, was completely at peace.
The Next Day
Hoshiko awoke to see fur all around her, being careful she was able to slip out from her "fur bed and blanket" without waking any of the cats, stretched and picked the basket of eggs then headed for the the master bedroom, her new room.
Admiring the beauty of the room for few moments, then walked over to her new bed, she set them on her new king sized bed, which she could see that it would be extremely comfy. She undessed from ratty bloodstained clothes, once all of the clothes were removed she entered the large bathroom which had a large tub and a large shower, a large counter and sink. They were made with marble, on the far wall there was a full length mirror.
Her hair still in a braid, she turned her body slowly, examining her body. She was able to see all the scars on the front of her body, sadly they weren't none were severe, except there's so many of them. When she turned around to she her back, stray tears fell from her eyes, her back was horrific, like the front it was covered in countless scars, burns, whip marks, and the two large words carved into her flesh. (Freak and Abomination) Disgusted, she walked to the sink to undue her hair and turned the shower on. She entered the shower and bathed herself. Hoshiko liked the smells they had gotten for her, the body wash smelled like freshly fallen rain, the shampoo and conditioner smelled like roses. Once she finished, she pulled on the long wolf designed towel, drying herself off then brushed her hair out, and pulling it into a high braid. She took her potions for the day.
Leaving the bathroom, she entered her walkin closet to find one side full of kimonos and training uniforms. While the other side, held a lot of american clothing, the dresser at end of the closet held her underwear and socks. Since she would be going outside she pulled out a shirt and a pair of shorts. Then got dressed.
Hoshiko climbed on the bed and pulled the eggs into her lap. "I think's time for all four of you to hatch," she placed her hands on them letting her magic merge with theirs. Once again she felt 4 new bonds connected her, the eggs cracked opened revealing four newborn phoenixes.
The first phoenix was electric blue and yellow, he had small lightning bolts wrap around his body, proving that he is a lightning phoenix. The second bird was bright frost blue with some black and white markings, proving she was an ice phoenix. The third and fourth birds looked to be siblings, war phoenixes, the female was black w/white markings with a Yin mark on her head, while the male was white w/black markings and a Yang mark on his head.
The their magic and hers reached a crescendo a bright flash blinded them for a few minutes. Hoshiko blinked her eyes to regain her vision and when she could see again all four phoenixes were fully grown!
"Wow! That was so cool! Look each of us are fully grown!" The lightning phoenix squawked excitedly.
"Will you just calm DOWN, WE JUST HATCHED!" the ice phoenix scolded him.
"OK! OK! I was just excited." He sulked, causing the siblings to laugh at their antics.
Hoshiko silently laughed, her body shaking the bed, but in their heads they could hear her. They turned towards their new mistress.
'Good morning guys, I'm your new bonded, Hoshiko.' She spoke to them mentally.
"Nice to meet you, Hoshiko. Can you give us names?" The twins asked.
'Sure. You will be known as Articuno,' She said to the Ice phoenix. 'You will be called Zapdos(lightning phoenix). Your name will be Yin (the female twin) and your name will be Yang (the male twin). I think they suit you, don't you think?' She asked them after she named them.
The phoenixes looked at each other, then back at her nodding excitedly.
'I'm glad, all of you may explore the property but no hunting the kneazle cubs or any of the foxes,' She informed them as she got off the bed and placing the basket containing their eggshells on a her bedside table. Walking out of her room, with a pair of socks in her pocket.
As she walked to the dining room, she can see some food already on the table under heating charms. However, her elves had made too much. Getting an idea, she used her magic to summon all 8 elves. 8 pops sounded throughout the room, each of them happy to see her, they ran to give her a hug.
'Good morning everyone, it is good to see all of you as well. The food looks great but you made too much for me. So I want all of you to join me in having breakfast.'
They nodded happily and joined her to eat. Everyone finished eating after 30 minutes. Hoshiko signed thank you to them the left the room, to the back door. She pulled on her socks so she can put on her tennis shoes. Closing the back door behind her, she walked through the garden, towards the stables.
Walking into the building, she was amazed on how big they were. She walked to five occupied stables. In one stable was a pure black mustang named Midnight, the second has a white mare named Star, because she had a black star on her head. The third was a dark gray mustang, called Thunderstorm. The fourth contained a chesnut colored mare, named Willow, and finally the fifth horse was a deep chocolate color mustang called Rapidrun. Their names were above their stables, while a large board on the wall contained their names, medical information, breed name, and if they've been feed and watered or not. They've been taken care of this morning but it said that they are ment to be let out for their exercises.
Since the elves were busy, Hoshiko thought she help them out. Walking to Rapidrun's stable for he was the closest to the enterence. 'Hello guys, my name is Hoshiko, the owner of this land. I noticed that all of you were scheduled to be let out into the pasture. So I came to let you out.' She greeted the five of them as she opened Rapidrun's door letting him out, then did the same with the other four.
"You are just a youngling, to be in charge of this land," Willow said as the six of them walked out of the stables.
'I'm seven years old but my mind is that of an adult's. So yeah, I'm a youngling.'
"I can smell much pain coming from you, little one. Were you harmed by others like we were?" Midnight asked her, as he nuzzled her side with his head.
Hoshiko flinched harshly, her head down in shame, 'Yeah, I was. I was abused and tortured my whole life. Just yesterday I got free from my abusers.'
Star walked up to her and wrapped her head and neck around her, "We're so sorry, Hoshiko. We did not mean to bring up bad memories, you're safe here I promise." She soothed as the little girl hugged her accepting the comfort she was offering. The other four nuzzling her back offering their comfort too.
Hoshiko pulled back wiping her tears away, 'Thank you. I know none of you meant to do that, so it's alright. You guys better get your running in, I'm going to continue exploring and look for the two herds I feel on different sides of my land."
"One of us should go with you, as it would take you too long on foot." Rapidrun spoke up. His herd agreeing with him.
Thunderstorm lowered himself to the ground, "Hop on little one, I'll take you."
Hoshiko hopped onto his back, 'Thank you, Thunderstorm."
Thunderstorm got off the ground, "No problem. See you later guys," He walked out of their grassy plain pasture and into the forest. He headed in the direction of the Shadow forest. He then picked up his speed to a light gallop, "Hang on young filly." He warned her as he changed his speed. She hung onto some of his mane but not enough to pull on it.
'This is amazing, Thunder!' She shouted, leaning into his neck.
Thunderstorm laughed, "I'm glad little one, we'll be there in an hour. So hang on," He warned her, he really wanted to run full sprint but he'll do that on his way back after he knew the correct path to take.
1 Hour later
Thunderstorm slowed his gallop, to a canter, then down to a trot, "This is where the herd of thestrals live in this section, for there are more shadows here, to protect their skins. Normally, the only way for anyone to see them is those that have seen death, but with Lord Death's magic powering the wards everyone here can see them." He explained as he walked into the clearing. She was amazed to see them, they were incredible beings.
The lead mare walked towards them, being careful of her pregnant belly. "Hello Mistress of Death, it good to see you finally home. My name is Appalonia, the leader of this herd."
'Hello Appalonia, my name is Hoshiko. Is your herd doing well here?' She asked her.
Her wings stretched then refolded, "My herd is doing very well. We all really love our new home, for now we don't have to worry about our young dying to the extreme cold anymore nor are we just used by the wizarding world as their slaves either."
'I'm glad that Death brought all of you here. I can't wait to see the little ones, when they come. I just wanted to check in on you.'
"It's alright, you are always welcome here Lady Hoshiko."
'Thank you, we should head back Thunderstorm.'
"Yes, we should. I say you have to go with Willow or Star to visit the other herd. Good day Appalonia. Hang on, I'm going full sprint," Thunderstorm warned as he turned around and took off, running to his heart's content.
It only took him 20 minutes this time to return, but he had to race around the field as he slowed his pace, to prevent hurting himself.
"Welcome back you two." Rapidrun greeted, as Thunderstorm finally stopped, breathing heavily.
'Hi everyone. Thunderstorm told me that either Star or Willow should be the ones to take me to the other herd.' Hoshiko greeted as Thunderstorm regained his breath.
"He's right, I can take you if you want to go now." Star told her, she walked next to Thunderstorm so Hoshiko can slide from his back to her's.
'Take a breather Thunderstorm. You're still healing, you should take it easy for the rest of the day.'
"I will, I promise. I was just hoping I was healed enough to run full out but I guess not. Anyway have fun you two," Thunderstorm replied.
Star did the same as Thunderstorm did until she was too was galloping through the forest in the opposite direction. Star was having a grand time as she galloped throughout the forest listening to Hoshiko laughing on her back.
1 1/2 hours later
Star slowed till she was walking, when she came to a grove she stopped right at the edge. Waiting for the war unicorn's permission to come in further. Hoshiko remained on Star's back, knowing better than enter a unicorn herd's territory without leader's approval.
Spirit walked out from behind the waterfall, seeing that they had visitors. He walked up to Star, "Hello Star, what are you doing... Oh hello little one."
Star bowed her head to him, "Greetings Spirit, I brought Lady Hoshiko Seiya-Black, owner of the land we live on."
'Hello Lord Spirit,' She bowed to him, from Star's back. Her speaking to him mentally surprised him, his mate as well.
A beautiful pearl white unicorn came up beside her mate, "How come you can't physically speak, little one?" She asked her.
Hoshiko looked at her with remorseful eyes, 'I can't speak anymore, my abusers got tired of me screaming out in pain, so they slashed my vocal cords. They were damaged to the point I can't talk anymore.' She explained leaning her head back so they can see the damage done to her throat.
Spirit and his mate, Rain, walked closer to see the wounds. 'Rain, do you think our magic can help her?' Spirit thought over their mating bond.
'I think so but we need some of our blood on her throat, for it to be effective,' Rain thought back.
'Hmm, then take some of my blood, I don't want you to lose any blood because you're pregnant.' Spirit turned he head to the side, allowing her access to his neck.
Rain used the tip of her horn to pierce his skin near a minor vein, once there was enough blood on her horn, "Hold still young one." She reached her head forward, her blood covered horn tip carefully rubbing along Hoshiko's neck. Rain didn't stop untill all the blood was on her neck, she then healed Spirit's neck watching his blood flow back into the wound then the wound healed itself, leaving no mark.
Spirit and Rain both placed their horns on her neck, glowing with their magic. 'Please give back her voice.' They thought as one, their magic answering their prayer healed her throat, Spirit's blood entering her, making one of her magical animagus become a unicorn.
Hoshiko didn't know what to say as she watched Spirit's mate pierce his neck with her horn until the tip was covered in his blood. When she was told not to move she didn't, as she rubbed the bloodied horn along her throat, until all the blood was on her throat. She saw them both move their horns forward till both touched her neck, she felt their magic focus on her neck. A warmth surrounded her throat and she could feel the blood enter her body, becoming one with her.
Spirit and Rain pulled black, the scars on her neck were still there but they knew her throat was healed, she could speak again. "Try speaking, Hoshiko." Spirit told her softly.
She stared at them in disbelief but did as she was told, "H-how did you do that?" she asked them aloud, her voice rough from disuse.
The mates looked at her with smiles on their muzzles, "Because Hoshiko, you're a child. You never deserved any the abuse you suffered; we can sense your spirit and soul is still pure. We never want to see a youngling in pain, we did what we could to repair your throat while we're unable to heal the scars but we were able to repair your ability to speak." Rain explained.
Hoshiko hugged their faces, "Thank you, for giving my voice back to me." she whispered.
They nuzzled her back, "You're welcome, Hoshiko. You are welcome amongst us any time." Spirit invited, earning another face hug from the child.
Star watched the whole thing, awestruck. They were able to give her voice back, making her feel honored to witness this feat. "I need to get you back home, Hoshiko." She reminded her.
Hoshiko pulled back, "Thank you again." she thanked them as she rearranged her spot on Star's back. Both she and Star bowed to them, then took off for home.
1 1/2 hours later - Noon
Star walked back into the pasture, she stopped near the shed filled with hay bales. Hoshiko slipped onto on a stack that was close to Star's height so she can get down safely without having to jump very far. Once she was on the ground, she faced the five horses.
"Thank you, for taking me to the two herds of thestrals and the Unicorns. The rides were amazing, we have to do again sometime," She thanked them by petting their noses.
"Any time, little one. I'm glad you can speak again," Midnight nuzzled her back.
"Bye guys!" She waved as she entered through the back door.
Hydra popped in, "Hoshiko, go wash up and get ready to go afterwards, Death will be taking you to Gringotts Bank."
Hoshiko nodded as she took off her shoes and headed back to her room to clean up. Entering her closet, she pulled out a green kimono with light green ivy vines all over it. Taking off her dirty clothes, she she use a wet wash cloth to clean off the dirt on her skin. Fixing her hair into a bun then placed two bird hair pins to hold the bun in place. Rubbing her Japanese Cherry Blossom lotion into her skin, making her smell good, she added some eye shadow that matched the kimono. Placing a new clean pair of socks on, then the green kimono, and tied on the forest green obi. Making sure nothing was out of place, she walked back into the dining room and sat down.
Hydra reappeared with her lunch, she looked over her over, and approved. Her lessons on how to be a proper lady, allowed Hoshiko to clean and dress up perfectly. She may be only 7 but she was the Lady to nine Houses. She placed her lunch on the table, then got the shock of her life.
"Thanks, Hydra," Hoshiko thanked her, taking a sip of her milk.
Hydra looked at her in shock, "You can talk again?" She asked with hope in her voice.
"When I visited the unicorn herd earlier, they healed my throat, not the scars but they repaired my vocal cords, allowing me to speak again," She explained to her caretaker.
Hydra bursted into tears as she hugged her charge, extremely grateful of the unicorns being able to cure her ability to speak. Her charge hugged her back. "I'm so happy for you, Hoshiko."
Death stepped out of the shadows having heard his mistress explain, he too was very happy for her and thankful for the unicorns for giving her voice back. "I too am very grateful, mistress."
She smiled back at him, "Can we explore the alley when we're done at the bank?"
He smiled back, "Sure but do remember we are retrieving your service dog today, and the objects your ancestors found."
Hydra pulled back wiping away her tears, "Do you want some lunch, Lord Death?"
He tilted his head, ever sense he was bonded with her, he was able to eat and drink human food, which he was finding that he's enjoying it. "Sure, why not. Thank you, Hydra."
She disappeared with a pop then returned with lunch for him. She went back to work with more energy than before.
Death sat down to eat, "I have a question for you, do you want to go to school like a normal kid? Because with your ancestors and I teaching you, you won't have to go to magic school, for you would already to take the exams needed to graduate when you turn 11. But we will take you to get your wand as tradition."
Hoshiko tilted her head to the side as she finished her sandwich. "Actually, yes I do. I really don't want to go to a magic school, I don't want to hear so many questions about my scars, plus I don't want people swarming me because I'm the head of nine families and the richest witch in the world. I'm not sure why but I have a feeling like I have to go there, like it's my destiny. I can't shake this feeling." She told him.
Death was silent as he too finished his food, he drained his milk before answering, "I think it's the Deathly Hollows allowing you to feel this feeling, as normally individuals can't feel it or even detect it. And to be perfectly honest with you that was why I was asking you that question, for the school you'll be attending will also be three kids that you share a destiny with. I can't tell you their names nor can I describe them to you, all can say is this, it's two boys and a girl. So you'll have to find out for yourself."
"Cool, I don't mind having a challenge. Won't my intelligence make it difficult for me to remain in the same grade?" Hoshiko asks as she gets up from the table, heading to her room real quick to grab her purse. She swung it around her shoulder, putting it on. Then she met Death at the doorway, she chose her mockasins that had several comforting charms in them.
"Hmm, I would say yes but I'm sorry to say that you'll have to hold back a lot to do so but when you enter high school, you can reveal more if you want to. Think of it like this, you get to go to school killing 7-8 hours of the day doing something instead of being bored to death, so to speak. Yes, the homework will be annoying at times but if you can get it done the first thing you do when you return home, then you have more free time to yourself without having to worry about it. Thankfully, your photographic memory and the ability in the mind magics will be the ultimate hack for tests." Death chuckled as he teleported them away.
Nebrathka* Alley
They reappeared in front of the Gringotts Bank, they walked up the steps bowed to the guards at the entrance, both guards returned the bow. They walked up to a free teller and waited for him to finish.
Steelarrow finished writing down the amount he counted and looked up to see customers. "Greetings, may your enemies fall before you. How can I help you?"
"Greetings, may your enemies tremble before you. We have a meeting with Dragonheart. This is Lady Seiya-Black." Death told him.
Steelarrow looked into his appointment book, "Yes, here we are. I'll lead you to him." He places a "closed" sign on his desk, then jumped down. "Follow me, please."
He lead them through the halls to the managers' hall, right up to Dragonheart's office He knocked on the door, hearing an "enter" he opened the door. "Manager Dragonheart, your appointment is here."
Dragonheart looked up from his coffee, "Let them in."
"You can go in now."
"Thank you, may your gold ever flow." Both thanked him.
"May your gold ever flow." Steelarrow returned as he left.
"Greetings, Master Dragonheart, may your enemies tremble before you." They greeted together, as they sat down.
"May your enemies fall by your blade," He returned. "Lord Death, Lady Seiya-Black. It's nice to meet you, although I was told you had became mute?" He asked her.
"I was until I met a war unicorn and his mate, they were able to give me back my voice." She explained again.
Dragonheart smiled, "I'm glad to hear that, mi'lady. Now onto business, my clansman Stormheart, was able to get the transference of the contents of all the vaults here. Each house has a massive vault each, but as he explained to you the Seiya family vault is in Japan. Unfortunately, we haven't been able to get in touch with the manager yet but we promise to alert you when we do. The three horcruxes have been dealt with, we were able to save the artifacts they were placed in. All the artifacts from Hogwarts have also been retrieved as well, which is how we are able to the destroy the third one. We able to do this without the headmaster's inference because he's at the International Conference of Wizards for the next three weeks. However, we encountered a basilisk when we retrieved everything from Slytherin's Chamber of Secrets, it didn't fight us when we told it that we were doing it on your orders. She demanded that we bring her with us so she can speak with you, so if you can visit the Slytherin vault before you leave we would be grateful. Anyway, the money that was taken from your families have been recovered with interest." He reported, as he took a breather.
"That's good news. I'm not sure about the basilisk, but we'll deal with that later. We came here for the vault containing her presents from Sirius, her father." Death asked him.
Dragonheart looked through his papers for that paper, he made a quiet "ah ha" when he found it. "Vault number 909, is the vault stated in his will, which contains what he said. So when you collect the items the vault will be empty and we'll take it back sense it won't be needed anymore."
"That's fine. I think that's all we really needed. So can we go to the vaults?" Hoshiko asked.
Dragonheart laughed, "Yes, you can I'll lead you to the carts. A couple more things, here's your information needed to enter school if you wish it. Your copy of your medical records, there is also a small list of trusted healers/doctors that we trust and work with. Please see one of them, as you need a doctor to continue looking after you. There is also a letter for the school nurse and principal regarding your scars, not everything, but enough for them not to go looking for answers they won't be able to find. It also gives them a reason for you having a service dog."
Death took the files, "Thank you, I've been trying to figure out a way to explain to the school. This saves us, the trouble. Do you have any, biography on the list of medics?"
"Yes, here." Dragonheart handed him another file.
"Thank you."
"Do you want us to buy any investments?"
"Yes, please. It'll come in handy in the future, and the goblins may keep 17% of the profits." Hoshiko confirmed.
"Thanks. I'll take care of it. If you have any questions, send me a letter." Dragonheart said as he lead them out of his office. He walked up to the cart driver, "They need to go to vault 909 and the new Slytherin Vault."
Sharpspear nodded his head, "Yes, sir."
"May your gold ever flow." He bowed to them, then he left.
"May your gold ever flow," They returned, as the two of them got onto the cart.
"Keep everything in the cart at all times." Sharpspear warned them as he set the cart in motion.
The ride to the vault was exhilarating to Hoshiko, so much that she laughed. Her first experience of a roller coaster ride. While Death was just happy to hear her being happy.
They slowly came to a stop, "Vault 909. To access it, use your family ring to open the door." Sharpspear told her.
Hoshiko walked up to the door, she willed the Black ring to appear on her finger. She pressed the ring against the lock, immediately the door's locks became unlocked. The vault door swung open, revealing its contents.
A cage with her new dog in stasis and a blanket containing three green plates with a letter M on them, she felt the need to touch them.
Death unlocked the cage and carried the dog to the blanket, as the stasis charm broke. Hoshiko grabbed the vest, papers, and the certificate then walked over just as the dog was coming around.
Nanook shook his head, he felt extremely groggy, like he's been sleeping for days. He rubbed at his eyes with his paw, as he slowly came around. His nose picking up a familiar scent, but it was female. After a few minutes he was finally feeling back to normal, he raised his head focusing on the scent. "Are you Sirius' pup?" He barked.
Hoshiko smiled leaning down allowing him to smell her neck, letting him smell her scent. "I am, I'm his daughter, Hoshiko." Surprising him with her ability to understand him.
Nanook took a deep breath, inhaling her scent. He smiled, this little girl is his charge and new owner. "Yup, you smell like him. He's gone isn't he?"
"Yes, he's gone. He died saving my life when I was a baby, I got this scar that night," She showed him the scar on the left side of her face.
Nanook looked down in sadness for his friend. He brought his left paw to his mouth, then bit hard enough to draw blood. Death cut her left hand. She took his injured paw with her hurt hand, allowing their blood to merge bonding them as familiars to each other.
"My name is Nanook, your new service dog, protector, and friend."
Hoshiko pulled out the collar and leash Hydra had stuffed into her purse at some point. She hooked the collar around his neck, with his name and her personal information on his tags. She clipped the service dog license and vaccination license to his tags. She then helped him get into his service vest on. He stood up ready to work. Looking at the plates, they will have to wait until they get home. "Hydra!" she called.
Hydra popped in, "Yes?"
"Please take these the living room and place a barrier around them to prevent anyone from touching them until we get home."
"Yes, Hoshiko." Hydra popped away with the blanket, plates and cage.
"Come Hoshiko, Nanook, we have another vault to visit." Death lead them out of the empty vault, "Sharpspear, we return the vault to the goblins."
Sharpspear nodded, "I recommend that both of you hang onto Nanook while we move onto the next vault."
Hoshiko sat down, Nanook jumped up next to her, then Death sat down. She wrapped her arms around him then Death did the same to both of them. They nodded to Sharpspear when they were ready, he started the cart. While they were moving Death took Sirius' essense that he left within Hoshiko, then placed them within Nanook which truly complete the bond between them, and giving him the ability of a grimm, with the abilities as well. Both of them turned to him, with questionable look on their faces, he shook his head with a smile.
The cart stopped at the Slytherin vault, Hoshiko switched the Black with the Slytherin ring. "The same way right?" She asked the goblin, he nodded. She pressed the ring to the door, "Everyone keep yours closed until I say so!" She ordered.
The door swung opened to reveal the basilisk, "Hello great serpent, I am Hoshiko Bara Seiya-Black-Slytherin, I'm the one who took up the lordship to the house." She kept her eyes closed as she raised her hand to the snake to smell.
Meria tasted her scent, she can tell she was telling the truth. She opened her mouth to bite the child's arm forming a bond between them. "I, Meria the appointed guardian of the Slytherin family, add the blood of Slytherin to it's conquested lady, making her a true Slytherin! So mote it be!"
Hoshiko didn't know what to do when she felt teeth on her arm, after hearing the spell she opened her eyes in shock, then the teeth bit into her arm, causing her to scream. For she felt the venom and something else enter her bloodstream.
Nanook was weary when he heard loud hissing but when he heard her scream, he threw caution to wind and raced to protect her but was caught by Death, "Stop you can't prevent this." He soothed him. Nanook whined wanting to protect her but knew he couldn't against that huge snake.
Hoshiko collapsed onto Meria, the bite healed itself leaving no trace except for a small snake-like scar. It took a few minutes, till she was able to get back onto her feet, "Why did you do that?"
"To make you a full blooded Slytherin. To make sure that you have the blood of Slytherin running through your veins and my way of saying thank you for freeing me from my prison. I will be there whenever you need me, we are now bonded and I choose you to be my new mistress. I have a secondary nest at Slytherin castle, so I like to return to my real home. Can you call a Slytherin house elf?"
Hoshiko concentrated on the family ring, asking for a house elf name, it gave her one. "Venom?" She called.
A pop sounded, with it a house elf in a green uniform with the Slytherin coat of arms on his right breast. "Yes, Lady Slytherin?" He looked around, his eyes widened, "Ms. Meria? You're finally free."
"Can you take her take her back to real nest, and make sure she's kept warm, well-fed, and cared for." She ordered him.
"Of course Lady Slytherin, it'll be great to have Ms. Meria back home again." Venom agreed he placed his hands on Meria, and with a loud pop they were gone.
Hoshiko walked back to them, but stumbles slightly her balance still off. Nanook rushed forward, catching her from falling to the ground. "Thanks Nanook I'm still dizzy from the forced blood adoption." She explained as she leaned against him for support as they walked back to the cart.
When they were reseated Death handed her a vial of a sparkly clear fluid, "Drink this it'll contract the venom and complete the merging," Death explained as he watched her drink the vial of phoenix tears. He used a second vial to place magically into her blood, she leaned into Nanook as she held him, Death both of them as they made the ride back to the surface.
As the disembarked he can see the tears working, she was walking under her own power and excited energy from earlier returning.
"Thank you, Sharpspear. May your gold ever flow." They thanked him.
"May your gold ever flow." He returned as he went on break.
The three of them walked out of the bank and back into the alley.
"Come on, I know where the pet shop is," Death led them to a blue colored building, named "Alexander's Pet Emporium".
They entered to find it way larger on the inside. A Native American man came out of a back room with supplies in his arms, "Oh hello," he set his load on the counter. "My name is Alexander "Alex" Lynx, the owner of this store. Do you need any help?" He asked.
"Not yet, we just moved here. So we'll explore a little first." Hoshiko declined.
"Alright, then. If you need any help let me know, I'll be around restocking shelves." Alex smiled at her then went back to restocking the shelves.
Hoshiko looked to Nanook, "We need to get some stuff for you as well, so don't stay quiet. If you want something let us know ok?" She told him while Death got a cart.
Nanook nodded, "I will."
She led them down the aills, they first came to the dog section. They looked through the different types of dry food, they had decided on Canine's Best - for it having real protein and all the essential vitamins and nutrients he would need. They got some dog shampoo and dog rake(dog comb used for the breeds that have thick and long fur), various treats, food and water bowl. Nanook saw a twilight color, large fluffy bed, that is the right size for him. He looked at her with puppy eyes, she smiled and placed it in the cart. She then told him to look for a few toys that caught his interest while she got some bones. Nanook looked at the various toys, he grabbed a package of normal sized tennis balls, a chew ring, and a toy that would give him treats if he worked with it. He carries them to Hoshiko, who then placed them in the cart.
They walked on passing various animals, no kneazles here. However, when they passed the small section of incubators, the sign above them stating that each of them are rescued eggs.
A red, orange, and black egg as well as a rainbow colored egg were glowing, Hoshiko smiled she found what she was looking for, opening the door, she picked up the eggs up and immediately her magic and the eggs merged bonding them together, the eggs hatched revealing phoenixes. Their ambient magic that resided in the air swirled around the chicks then flowed into them they vanished in flash of light. When the light vanished, the chicks had become fully grown! The first phoenix was a red-orange fire phoenix (similar to Fawkes) but he had ruby red wings, tail feathers, and a flame symbol on his head. The second phoenix was a very rare one, a rainbow phoenix with the capabilities of using every element possible as they get older with age. Her feathers were of a rainbow, her talons black, feet white, and a white and black beak.
"We've been waiting for you for quite some time," The male fire phoenix, amusingly trills.
"Indeed, we felt everything that happened to you since you were a baby as did the other four phoenixes, we six were meant to be with you." The female rainbow phoenix, cooed. They flew to her shoulders, rubbing their heads against hers.
Hoshiko smiled, petting their feathers, "Your name will be Moltres," She said the male then focused on the female, "and your name will be Nijika(rainbow summer)." Both birds nodded, cooing happily.
Alex was silent the whole time as he watched in awe, he never seen a Rainbow Phoenix before nor have he met anyone who had six phoenixes bonded with her, and she's only a child. "May I ask your name, little one?" He asked her.
Hoshiko looked to Death, 'Is he trustworthy?'
Death looked at his soul, 'Alex Lynx, you really do care for the animals under your care.' He thought to himself, he nods to her letting her know he's trustworthy, but discretely forces a Fidelius charm on him with himself and Hoshiko as the secret keepers.
"My name is Lady Hoshiko Bara Seiya-Peverell-Black-Slytherin-Gryffindor-Ravenclaw-Hufflepuff-Emrys-Le Fey and I'm seven years old." She introduce herself.
Alex's eyes were so wide it was a wonder that they hadn't fallen out of head yet. He shook his head to clear his awe. "Alex Lynx, of the Omaha tribe. I swear I will keep your full identity to myself and no one else."
She bowed her head to him, "Thank you, Alex. Do order any Kneazle and horse supplies, by any chance?" As they placed their items on the counter.
Alex ranged them up then place them in an expanded bag, "In this state there were only 2 owners of Kneazles, now there's 3, but I do order their supplies for them, and when they arrive here I send them to the owners." He reached down to pull out a catalog, "This is the other things I do or order because my store can't hold everything." He placed it in the bag too.
"I ask because I have a pride of 153 kneazles with more on the way, as several females are pregnant and I have 5 rescued horses." She informed him.
"Wow, I'm in contact with the main supplier for the kneazles supplies so it shouldn't be hard to tell them I have another kneazle owner, as for horses my tribe in the normal world has a large store that specializes in horse, cattle, or any other farm animal, but they do have a large section for horses. I can tell them I have a customer that owns horses, if you need anything. Here's there catalog as well, it contains their address as well." He answered while placing a second catalog in the bag. Alex looked at the phoenixes then ranged them up at an owl's price.
"Why did you do that?"
"I didn't know I had phoenix eggs in my shop, so it isn't right that I should overcharge you because of it. Also the two of you should flame to your new home, it could potentially be very bad if anyone sees you." Alex explained then warned the phoenixes.
Hoshiko nodded, "He's right, I don't want either of you harmed. Please go home, I know the others what to know who just joined our flock."
Nijika and Moltres looked at each other, then hung their heads, "Alright we'll go, stay safe, Hoshiko." Nijika cooed, Moltres copying her.
"I will," She promised, she watched them take flight then vanish in a burst of flames. She hand over one of her cards to pay for the items.
Alex took it then swiped it on the rune on his register, seeing it read "accepted" he handed her card back. "Have a good day, Lady Seiya. See you next time." He pushed the shrunken box to her.
"You too, Lynx-san. And yes we will." Hoshiko placed the box in her pocket, then took Nanook's Leash from Death. "Where are we going, now?" She asked him as she held his hand with her unoccupied one.
"To your new school to get you registered as school starts next week," Death answered. "Now that we have all the papers needed, we should so. When we're done there, we'll head to Walmart to get your school supplies anything else that is needed or catches your eye.
"Ok, you good Nanook?" She asked him while taking out a large bone treat, called Milk-bone.
Nanook's tail wagged at seeing the treat, "No, I'm good till dinner. Bone please." He did a quick spin trick.
"Good boy," She gave him the treat for his trick.
Death smiled at them, then wrapped his arms around them and transported them to the school.
High Desert Middle School
Death teleported them near an abandoned about two blocks away from the school, making their arrival hidden from bystanders.
They walked out of a collapsed wall that led into an alley, then walked the two blocks to High Desert Middle School, walking through the entrance and into the office.
A woman was working at the front desk, hearing footsteps she looked up seeing an asian man with long black, Japanese judging by his daughter's kimono, he was around 6' 1". His daughter had beautiful starlight white hair with indigo eyes, around 3' 10" and she had a service dog with her, a pure black mixed breed with German Shephard and Husky, he was a big dog around 89-98 lbs, and 1-2 year old. "Hello I'm Cera Thistle, how can I help you?" She asked the man.
"Hello I'm Shinigami Seiya, this is my daughter Hoshiko Seiya, and her service dog Nanook. We just moved here and I need to get her signed up for school and need to speak with principal to explain about her needing a service dog with her at all times." Death greeted.
Cera looked at the time, "She should be back from her lunch break, if you please wait a few minutes, I'll see if she's available." When nodded, she got up from her desk and walked down the little hallway to the principal's office. Seeing the door open, she popped her head in to see Victoria Pappu working. "Hey, Vic?"
Victoria looked up from her computer, "Hey Cera, what is it?"
"We have a new student that needs to be signed up and she has a service dog with her. So are you free to meet with them?"
Victoria raised an eyebrow at the service dog comment but nodded, "Yeah, I'm free. Send them in."
Cera walked back to her desk to see the family waiting for her, "Follow me please." She led them to the office, and closed the office behind her as she left.
Victoria stood from her chair to greet the father and daughter, she held her hand out, "Hello my name is Victoria Pappu, the principal of this school. Please sit." She said after shaking the man's hand, as she too returned to her seat.
Death and Hoshiko sat down in the chairs while Nanook sat down next to her laying his head in her lap. "Hello I'm Shinigami Seiya, this is my daughter Hoshiko Seiya, and her service dog Nanook." He introduced. "I like to get her signed up for school."
"Of course," Victoria pulled out some papers, "If you can fill these out, then she'll be ready for school next week." She handed the papers only to receive a folder from the man.
Death took the paperwork and handed her all the paperwork Dragonheart had given them earlier including Nanook's paperwork. "In the folder is Nanook's paperwork and certificate as a her service dog. While the rest of the paperwork is her doctor's note regarding him. Including the reason why, what you're about to read needs to be kept between us. I don't want any rumors to harm my daughter that could place her in danger, nor do I want her bullied because of her scars." Death warned her.
Hearing his warning concerned her, she opened the folder. As he said the dog's papers were right on top, quickly confirming that they were authentic she placed them aside for the moment. Reading the doctor's papers she felt horrified, his daughter was kidnapped as a baby, her mother was killed while he was away on business in another country. Her kidnappers held her for nearly seven years! They abused her the whole time physically, emotionally, and mentally but not sexually thankfully, to her relief. The authorities in Canada, were able to rescue her and nine other children from being sold to into a ring as sex slaves. They were able to return every kid back to their families four months ago, however, to keep the children safe the authorities are keeping what happened to them secret, for there is still other human trafficking rings out there and being hunted down currently and taken out of business.
Victoria was horrified that this little girl went through all that! The other paperwork was on her mental evaluation which was surprisingly good but she still has triggers, sadly that's to be expected. Her IQ was off the charts, he said that she could enter Fourth grade even though she was only seven, because she was raised in an abusive environment he wanted her to have a service dog with her at all times to make sure she feels safe and protected at all times, and be there for comfort if something triggers her horrible memories.
She had to take several minutes to keep her emotions in check, watching Hoshiko petting her dog with a smile on her face. "Mr. Seiya, our school nurse will need to know of this, if Hoshiko needs any medical assistance."
Death sighed as handed her the paperwork he just finished filling out. "I figured as much, can you call her in so we can explain to her now while I'm here."
Victoria nodded reaching for the phone, typing in the number needed, "Astrid? Can you come to my office, please. Thanks."
They only had to wait a few minutes until a knock was heard then door opened to reveal Astrid Ashton, the school nurse. She let herself in and sat down in the final chair. "Hello my name is Astrid Ashton, the school's nurse." She introduced herself to the small family.
"This is Hoshiko Seiya, her father, and her service dog Nanook. is our new student, there is some things that you need to be aware of in case she needs medical attention." Victoria handed the Doctor's papers to her, "Please read through these thoroughly and you must keep this information to yourself."
Astrid took the papers and had the same reaction Victoria did as she read them. 'How could anyone do this to child?!' She thought to herself, rubbing her tears away. She turned her gaze to , "You have my word and patient to nurse confidentiality, I will keep what I have learned to myself, , and your family." She swore to them.
Death looked at each of them studying their souls, he can sense and see that these two women truly cared about all children, neither would endanger his Mistress. "Thank you." He and Hoshiko bowed to them in gratitude.
Victoria gathered all the papers, went to her printer to scan all the papers to make two copies. One copy to keep in her records and another for Astrid to keep in her records. She placed the originals back in their folder, then returned the folder to , gave one copy to Astrid while taking new folder for her copy then placed it into her locked file cabinet and locked it. She grabbed another file that contained the school's grade supply lists, pulling a fourth grade list out, then handed it to Hoshiko, "This is the supply list you'll need for your classes."
Hoshiko took the list, "Thank you." She looked over the list.
"Then we'll see you next week," Victoria smiled.
Death, Hoshiko, and Nanook bowed to them sightly and took their leave.
When they left, both women broke down crying unable to kept their composer any longer. It took them half an hour to pull themselves together.
"I just can't believe someone could do that to a child! A child!" Victoria screamed.
"I don't understand how they carved not one but two words into her back! Or how they almost succeeded in taking her voice because of all the pain she was in," Astrid whispered in horror.
AN: I researched for 2 hours on finding the exact location and got nowhere, other than Lincoln, NE and the High Desert (which isn't a city or town, but for the sake of my story, High Desert is about a 100 miles away from NW of Lincoln, Hoshiko's home is about 17 miles away from High Desert. Using magical transportation can practically get you anywhere as long as you know the location, while using a portkey for long distances, etc.
Death, Hoshiko, and Nanook got everything she would need for school and more. They even got some stuff for Nanook when she's at school. They were at Walmart for over two hours. All of them were very grateful they had magic, because they had two whole carts completely full of stuff.
With the elves help they were able to get everything home.
Hoshiko removed her shoes and stepped onto the floor, she unbuckled Nanook's vest and unclipped his leash. She headed for the dinning room to for dinner, seeing Nanook's food on the table she placed it on the ground in front of him, Nanook digged right in. Death and Hoshiko dug into their food after a quick "Itadakimasu!"
"Death, do you think it be a good idea to awake the beings in the plates tonight or tomorrow?" Hoshiko asked after she finished her food.
Death thought as he finished his own food, "Tomorrow, would be better but no later. I can sense they want to wake up, thankfully they don't have the transponder signals that would be released after they awaken. They are called Minicons by the way. I also want you to have the plane book with you when awaken them, they'll need to scan the jets on pages 26 & 27 for their alt modes."
"Alright, well I want to get all my school stuff together for Monday that way I don't have to worry about it over the weekend, so good night Death." Hoshiko bid him good night.
"Good night, Hoshiko." Death watched her go, then he returned back to his realm.
Hoshiko's room/Master bedroom
She walked into her room only to see the perch tree had all six phoenixes and both owls on its branches. On her bed and carpets had several kneazles on them, thankfully none were on her desk which held all her school supplies.
"Hey guys, I'm back," She greeted them, not long after she was pounced on and under a kneazle fur pile, causing her laugh happily as she gets kisses, nuzzles, and purring from all of them. "Ok, ok, I missed all of you too, please let me up!" She laughed. It took them several minutes for them to finally let her get up.
"Welcome home, Hoshiko." Hedwig greeted, the other 7 birds cooed in agreement.
"Thanks, Hedwig. Everyone I'd like you all to meet Nanook, he'll be with me when I go to school." She introduced him, rubbing his ears earning a happy tail from him.
Nanook looked at all of them, "Hello it's nice to meet you." The others said similar greetings as they all interacted with each other.
Hoshiko smiled watching all of her pets interacting with each other, she entered her bathroom to clean up. She removed her obi and kimono, untied her hair, removed her makeup then climbed into the shower. After 15 minutes she was cleaned, drying herself off ignoring her horrible scars, then pulled on the pjs that were on the counter. She then brushed through her hair, leaving it down for the night.
Walking out of the bathroom she saw all them talking with each other as the four cubs played with the adults tails, making her smile. She went to her desk and started to place her supplies into her backpack, it had multiple pockets. They had put runes on the back to make it feather-light no matter how full it'll get, unbreakable, endurable, and with expanisions on it for every pocket making it contain 4x times the amount previously. The designed on it was a galaxy one which perfectly concealed the runes from the mundanes.
She set up her desktop computer and her laptop, making them ready to go. She and Death had already add runes them, allowing them to work around magic, as for the electricity from the house to not be affected by the magic in the air or by the wards. As the electricity is collected by the solar panels at the top of the house. The internet they had got as well from T-moble is also set up too, her mp3 player as well. The TV in the family room and living rooms have also been set up. They also gotten fish tanks for several rooms of the house, her room too, they been set up and ready to go they just need fish, which she'll order this weekend. They purchased a huge tank for the library on the 5th floor, its location is right above a support pillar that's been reinforced with several charms, and all the supports were made of marble, granet, and titanium making them incredably strong. Not to mention they're about 2 1/2 feet wide. She also needs to get koi for her pond, in the garden.

Satisfied she let the note next to her laptop where she can find it. Looking at the time read 11:00pm she decided to go to sleep. Hoshiko climbed into her bed then got settled. Nanook laid in his bed which was at the foot of her's, the kneazles finding spots on the floor while some jumped onto the bed with her, when everyone was settled they fell asleep listening to the water filter. Hedwig and Bowen on the other hand flew out through her window to go hunting.
The Next Day - Saturday 7:00am September 4th
Feeling her internal clock going off, Hoshiko woke up from a good night's sleep. Looking around her she smiled, for apparently many of the younger kneazles that were in her room joined her on the bed. Once again she was surrounded by them, it made it seem like she in a large furry nest. Slipping out of bed was a challenge but she managed, without waking anyone up. Walking into her closet, she picked her clothes for the day, a thin long sleeve shirt, a pair of kapris, no-show socks, underware, and cami/bra. Carrying her clothers to the bathroom, she wasn't surprised to see the kimono she wore yesterday already back in her closet.
Feeling refreshed from her shower, she dressed, and pulled her hair into a high ponytail. Walking out of her bathroom, everyone were still asleep except for Nanook and Articuno. She placed a finger to her lips telling them to remain silent, she tiptoed to the perch tree, and held her arm out for her to climb onto, then the three of them left the room allowing the other to remain sleeping.
Entering the dining room her breakfast and potions for the day were on the table, including some meat and fruits for Articuno, and Nanook's food and water bowls were near the table. Hoshiko helped Articuno onto the table, and sat down. She took her potions first, then began to eat her meal, both Nanook and Articuno doing the same.
After about 20 minutes she and Nanook had finished eating, "Meet me in the living room, Nanook. I'll be there in 5 minutes."
"Alright, Hoshiko." Nanook answered and headed to the living room.
Hoshiko quietly walked back to her room to collect her laptop, notebook, and the plane book. Making sure that she stayed quiet, gathered the items, and quickly left.
Living room - 8:00am
Walking into the living room and settling her stuff onto the coffee table, she sat on the floor in front of the green plates. They were close together, allowing her to gently touch all three simultaneously. A full minute passed before they glowed, startling both her and Nanook to their feet.
The plates were changed into little robots about 6 feet tall, each different colors but they has wings and appear to be female.
"Hello, my name is Hoshiko Seiya and this is my dog, Nanook. Can I ask for your names?"
The minicon in front spoke first, "I'm Aurora."
"I'm Pearlstar," the left one said.
"I'm Starlight," the right one said.
Although she can understand them they beeped as they talked.
"Nice to meet you three, um... I have a book here that you can look through for your vehicles modes." Hoshiko, handed the book to Aurora so all three of them look at it simultaneously.
Aurora took the book and likedthe jets on the paged as did her trine mates. They activated their scanners and scanned the F-22 fighter jets. She handed the book back, then the three of them transformed into their alt-modes. Aurora's color sceme was teal, lilac, and blue. Starlight's was gold, silver, and black. While Pearlstar's was a metallic white with light blue accents. Each mini F-22 fighter jets, they transformed back into their biped forms.
"Thank you, Hoshiko. That saved us from having to worry about finding an alt mode. Are the others, awake?" Starlight asked her.
"Please come sit down, and I'll explain the best I can do." Hoshiko offered them to sit on her couch, Nanook jumped up and settled down on her left side. She rubbed his ears and began to explain what she knew, "My father, Sirius was the one who found your panels." She explained her entire story to them which took several hours to explain everything.
"Today, I was able to wake you three up." She finished explaining, her attention completely on Nanook, tears fell from her eyes.
The 3 Minicons were horrified hearing her life story and they knew she wasn't lying, they were able to see the scars despite the clothing as they scanned her body, seeing for themselves of how bad they were. They used the world wide web, to translate the two words carved on her back. They recorded her story, to prevent her from having to retell it when the Autobots find out about her scars.
"We're sorry Hoshiko, we didn't mean to make you relive those horrible memories," Pearlstar apologized.
Wiping her tears away, "It's alright the healers told me that I have to get used to talking about my life in order for me to move on, and the memories to be less severe." She sighed, Nanook licked her cheek.
"You have all of us are with you, Hoshiko. No matter what, WE chose you. You are our family, partner, friend, and bonded." Nanook told her, completely serious.
"He's right, we phoenixes chose you. You're are precious to us, you are a part of our flock." Articuno, trilled as she appeared in a flash of cool fire, on her shoulder.
Hoshiko felt the others bonded to her give the same or similar feelings. Even Meria gave the same feelings towards. "Thank you, minna(everyone). Thank you so much."
The trine of Minicons could see that her pets were more than just pets, they had become her new family. Maybe one day they will become a part of her family too.
"So according to Death, our kind won't officially awaken for four years?" Aurora asked her.
"Indeed, for one of the leader Minicons called Highwire is the one containing the beacons that'll alert the Autobots, Decepticons, and the other Minicons. It will not be me that awakens him it'll be a boy, when we were out and about yesterday, I seen someone that I felt has same connection to a Minicon which I think will be Highwire, his name is Rad White. He and his two friends will be the ones that will, on accident, restart the Cybertronian War."
"Do you think we can find any of them before then, especially the nine Minicons that for the Hydra Cannon, its subweapons - the Star Saber, Skyboom Shield, and AstroBlaster?" Starlight asked her.
Before Hoshiko could answer, Death appeared, "No Starlight, I'm afraid not. If we do then we could alter the timeline. Those nine are too important to collect early, no matter I wish we could. As for other Minicons, if we happened to find one then it should be fine. I've told the locations to Hoshiko incase we ever need them, but only if we have to. Now I personally have to ask that the 3 of you help to look after her when the war restarts." He bowed to them, silently pleading that they'll help.
The trinemates looked at each other then back to him, "We will." They said together.
"Thank you," Death bowed to them in gratitude.
Hoshiko couldn't help but laugh, "Just how many protectors do I need Death?" As she rubbed Nanook's ears and petted Artcuno's feathers, she had moved to her lap to have her feathers petted.
"Mi'lady your safety will always be my main priority," He bluntly stated.
She shook her head with a smile, "By the way, do we have a way to give them energon?"
"Actually, I just dropped one dispenser in the dining room, energon will be continuously produced thanks to the solar panels that provides the house with electricity. I love to stay and hang out this weekend but I cannot. I have things to do in my realm that needs my attention, as a few of my workers had screwed up. Uhg... blockheads." Death groaned, rubbing a temple with a hand.
And with a swirl of his robes he vanished.
They stayed in the living room watching a movie, well the femmes were, as was Nanook and Articuno. At one point they were joined by several kneazles, the rest of the flock phoenixes. While Hoshiko was shopping at a Fish Farm, so she can get some fish into her tanks and pond, the amount of fish needed was 750! For all 12 tanks and the pond.
This had become routine for the rest of the weekend, the trine enjoyed sleeping on their beds. All the animals thought they were peculiar but with Hoshiko's support they accepted them, the cubs especially loved playing with the Minicons. The flock consisting the phoenixes, Hedwig, and Bowen loved going flying with them even if the couldn't go as fast as the trine when they go all out but still enjoyed flying with them.
The femmes love the energon being produced by the sun's rays. They had the time of their lives living on the Seiya properties, they even met the herds of Unicorns and Thestrals. All three were enjoying the freedom of not worrying about the coming war but they also knew this peace will only last four years.
Monday, September 6th - The First Day of School
Getting up for the first day of school was kind of hectic, the kneazles in her room didn't want to let her get up, it took Nanook scolding them that they let her get dressed. She dressed in a light long sleeved shirt and capris, she stuffed a pair of socks on her feet, pulled her into a braid, she gathered her school supplies, stuffing her laptop into the back pocket, and grabbing the bag full of drinks and snacks, plus a portable bowl, treats, toys, and small bag of dog food. Hoshiko speed-walked into the dining room, seeing the trine there having their morning energon, she placed her stuff on the table then dug into her food, as did Nanook.
"Excited for school?" Pearlstar asked her, as she drank her energon.
"A little, I will see Rad today, I need to become friends with him, and yes I'm excited to go." Hoshiko said a bit hyperly. "Nanook, you done?"
"Yeah, I'm done. We should get going." He answered getting to his feet.
"Yep," She places her lunchbox in the bag, places her backpack on. "See you later!" She said as she left the room.
"Bye!" All three beeped.
The two of them went to the entrance she places her tennis shoes on, clipped Nanook's service dog vest on including his leash. Making sure they had everything they walked out the door until they were about 100 feet away from the house. She gabbled onto the handle attached to his vest tightly. And said the key word for the portkey and directing her magic into it, "Gakkō(school)." They vanished.
They reappeared in the deserted building. Walking through the hole in the wall they walked the two blocks to school.
Nanook got a lot of looks when they entered the school, but people kept their unwanted comments to themselves after seeing his Service Dog vest. They followed the signs to the 4th Grade locker room, finding her locker right away. She placed the supply bag in it than placed her combination lock on it. They went to a white board in the common room which has lists on it help the students of their homeroom is.
Her homeroom teacher was , they walked into his classroom. There was posters of all sorts of animals and much more on the walls, apparently he teaches science as one of the major subjects. They looked for her desk, and found it in the back row on the corner right next to Rad White's desk. They made it easy for her, thankfully.
They were early by 20 minutes, so she decided to place her supplies in her desk. Upon opening it she discover her schedule for the school year, she placed it on Rad's desk temporary, then finished placing everything into her desk. She slid the schedule back onto hers, then walked back to her locker to place her backpack inside. She then locked the combo, and returned to her desk.
School Schedule for Hoshiko Seiya - First Semester

"These are the classes for this semester, Nanook." She said after reading the schedule to him.
"Well it'll be interesting, I believe your homeroom teacher is coming, for I smell a man coming." Nanook told her as he laid down.
'We'll have to speak mentally while we're in school. Remember to listen to my commands, that way they can't say you're not trained.' She told him as she got her LA material out including her book that she was reading, "Gregor, the Overlander by Suzanne Collins."
"I remember, this will be fun. At least I get to stretch my legs at recess and P.E.," He sighed, causing Hoshiko to laugh.
When Donatello Domino walked back into his classroom was the very girl his boss/the principal had told him about. He had to admit she was very beautiful but as he got closer he could see some of her scars on her body, manly the ones on her face and neck. A inner anger came to form inside him, he has a daughter a couple years younger then the seven year old, he hated the people who scarred and harmed this little girl.
Being cautious, he walked to his desk to set the papers in his arms down, then slowly walked over to them. He sees her dog Nanook was partly under her desk, out of the way but still fully on alert judging on how he watched him like a wolf stalking prey.
"Hello, I'm Donatello Domino or for short, I'll be your homeroom, science, and advanced Language Arts teacher." He introduced himself, while holding his hand close enough to Nanook, for him to smell him and give his approval to be near his charge.
Nanook smelled his hand, liking what he smelled he licked his hand, showing his approval of the man being near his charge, he laid his head back down.
Seeing this Hoshiko relaxed a little, "Hello. Looks like Nanook approves of you. I'm guessing informed you about Nanook being with me all the time?" She asked.
Donatello smiled, he was glad that she wasn't afraid of him, he leaned against one of the desks. "Yes, she did. As well all the other staff members, so they know we have a service dog in the building. When class starts, I'll inform the class that they can't touch him for he is working and that he will only listen to you. She also gave me some background on you not everything but enough to know what to expect."
"Thank you. I'm actually looking forward to school, it'll give me something to do. What did you mean by Advanced Language Arts?" She asked, tilting her head.
"Well placed you in advanced LA, because of the IQ and evaluation tests. You are a prodigy, with an extremely high IQ, so it lets us know that your comprehensive knowledge and skills are far more advanced than other students. Not to mention you're a seven year old who jumped three grades. So I will continue to nourish your ability and help you understand it. For example, the book you're reading is a level 5 meaning that its a fifth grade book, however, I was told that you can understand at a college reading level." He explained.
"Ok, that makes sense. Is there an advanced math?"
"Yes, there is and you are in that as well. The other subjects you'll have to learn at the same levels as the others until you reach High school. So you'll continue to be in the advanced LA and Math throughout your middle school years, please note that being in these classes the material and homework will be harder." He informed her.
Hearing the students come into the common area trying to find out which class is their homeroom. "We'll have to continue this discussion later," He bowed his head to her in apology then went to stand outside his classroom door.
Hoshiko opened her book to read where she left off, as students started coming in, looking for their desks. She didn't get to read long when Rad White came into the room, coming to his desk.
Rad saw his desk by the girl he saw had a service dog with her. He placed his supplies in his desk and sat down. Now that he was close to her he could see that she had scars on her face, neck, hands, and her arms from what little he could see of them. He suspects that she had more scars on her body, 'What happened to her?' He thought sadly. He felt an overwhelming urge to be in this girl's life, like she has the same destiny he, Carlos, and Alexis is in.
"Hello my name is Rad White, what's your name?" He introduced himself.
"I'm Hoshiko Seiya and this is my service dog Nanook, please don't try to pet him during school, he won't accept anyone to distract him from his job." She warned him as Nanook poked his head out to smell him, once he did he licked his knee and laid back down.
Rad stared at him, turning back to Hoshiko, "What did he just do?"
Hoshiko giggled softly, "He just gave his approval of you. He's very protective of me, so you passed his test."
Rad smiled back, "Well sense he gave his approval, would you like to be friends?" He held out his hand to her.
Hoshiko smiled too, "I'd like that, Rad." She took his hand and shook it.
And just like that their fates were intertwined to the same destiny.
AN: These chapters took forever to write. I will not write the boring four years from here to the actual timeline as they're not really needed. Hopefully I explained Hoshiko's origin well enough, that she won't be seen as a random character being thrown into the show. I want her a part of this, as further on into the story the title will make sense. Please give any feedback on this, I'd appreciate it. There will be some Japanese words, I want to honor Hoshiko's heritage, but I will also have the translations right next to them
The third chapter is when the timeline in this story merges into Transformers : Armada's.
