"Whaddaya say, Clyde; fair and square. May the best team win?"

Yeah, right. I'm gonna gladly screw over this McBozo so I can get that massage chair. He may not be as annoying as Lincoln Lame, but he's still a weirdo who's BFFs with him, so he's an enemy of mine. But he doesn't need to know that. I extend a hand to him, putting on a friendly facade.

"Hmm…" Clyde ponders staring at my hand to make sure I didn't hide anything in it(I left my buzzer at home anyways; dang it). He grasps my hand and says with a smile, "Deal."

I smile back. But something felt off about it. It wasn't a smirk type of a smile; more like I'm…touched kinda smile? This is weird.

But it wasn't as weird as what I heard next from him.

"By the way, there's something nice I kinda want to tell you, but I'm afraid of your reaction."

Huh. He's blushing. And his 2 fingers from each hand are touching each other like Hinata does in Naruto.

"Let's go somewhere private," I responded. We left my "Gran" and his Nana to a secluded area, telling them we'll be back in a bit.

"So McBride, we're alone. What do you have to say to me that's so 'nice'? I expected some sarcastic remark about my tie being out of place or something, but he was blushing, and he still is.

"U-um, well Chandler, this is between us. But…"

""But'"?

"...You...look beautiful." He slaps both hands across his mouth, red as a tomato.

"..." I was taken aback. No one, not even my parents praised me for my looks. I mean, I know I look like a prince and I figured girls were into me at school even if they never said it, but hearing it from another guy, Clyde McBride no less, was kinda surprising. And the word "beautiful" at that.

"I'm…I look beautiful? You…really mean that?" I asked.

He looked flabbergasted; he'd probably thought I was gonna make a snide remark(heck I still might). "...Yeah, I do," he answered. "Sorry, I know I'm out of step with this. it's just that with that suit you're wearing you look more than handsome. N-not to say that you aren't handsome, 'cause you are; it's just more than usual, heheh." He grins sheepishly.

Woah. My enemy just admitted this to me. How do I respond to this? I could go the jerk route and tease him. Or make a sarcastic comment about his glasses being clean. But after looking at him, why bother being mean?

I sighed. I then walked over to him and placed a hand on his shoulder, which caught him by surprise. "Thanks, Clyde," I said with a genuine smile. "It wasn't out of step at all. I think you look beautiful too."

"R-really?!"

"Okay, well, you look good." I'm blushing now. Get it together, Chandler. "Maybe with a little tweak here and there, you can look as beautiful as the ChanMan," I say with confidence, pointing at myself with my thumb.

Clyde laughs. "Thanks."

"Don't mention it." But don't think I'm gonna go easy on ya." Me and Gran are gonna wipe the floor with you two."

"Bring it on!" Clyde responded with confidence. Nana Gayle and I are so ready to win."

We both shared a fistbump, heading back to "Gran" and Gayle. Now that I think about it, maybe we're gonna need a new game plan to beat them. Do we really have to cheat? I dunno; but I know this: Clyde McBride is not an enemy of mine.
