Lincoln was exploring the lab when he saw a new status chamber
he looked inside and was horrified to see Lily in there
"No no no!" Lincoln said before trying to get Lily out
then he heard a whirling sound
he was too late...
he turned and saw an orange robotic fox with red arms with spikes on the hands beginning to move
it let a sound which Lincoln's mechanical ears translated to crying
"Lily..." Lincoln said "everything is gonna be alright."
Lily turned to him
"linky?" Lily questioned
she tried to walk over but fell down not used to her new body
"hey be careful. Don't worry you'll get used to it." Lincoln said helping her up
despite being in entirely different form Lily could tell this was her brother
suddenly they heard an electrical sound
Lincoln turned around ready to tear whatever it was apart
then a rift opened and dropped two things
a magenta gem with black lines through it and a massive robot suit with a moustache and spikes for hands
(author's note: this is the phantom ruby and the death egg robot.)
"huh... didn't see that coming." Lincoln said
Lily tried her best to walk to the gem eventually picking it up
"pretty..." Lily said
suddenly they heard Lisa coming
"Quick hide it!" Lincoln said
Lily's body opened up and took the gem
"I'm not sure if i should be impressed or horrified." Lincoln said
then Lisa noticed them
"hello siblings. Lincoln good job on making sure lily adapted well!" Lisa said before noticing the giant robot "where did this come from?"
she examined it
"a bit damaged but I can repair it." Lisa said "a good find."
Lincoln slowly walked towards her
"brother unit what are you doing?" Lisa asked
Lincoln grabbed her by the throat and slammed her against the wall making her drop the remote needed to shock him
"what are you doing?!" Lisa asked gasping for air
Lincoln's eyes changed to words
"snapping your neck like a twig." Is what it read
however Lily grabbed his leg
"No!" Lily said
Lincoln looked at the robotic Lily for a few seconds before turning back to Lisa
Lincoln dropped Lisa and crushed the remote under his foot
his eyes now read "you're lucky she cares."
he then picked up Lily and walked away
"good thing a contingency was handed to me on silver platter." Lisa said looking at the giant robot
later
the loud house was tearing the house apart looking for Lily
then there was a knock at the door
Leni answered it
"hello?" Leni said
"excuse me I am general ray. I'm looking for Lisa loud." General ray said
"right here general." Lisa said coming from upstairs
"lisa who is this?" Lynn sr asked
"this is general ray he has taken interest in some research I've been doing." Lisa said "Would you like to see?"
"we can't we're looking for Lily!" Rita said "two of our children are missing!"
"I put Lily in my lab for safekeeping." Lisa said " I forgot to tell you because I was working on something."
(not technically a lie.) lisa thought to herself
"well then take us to her!" Lynn sr said
"right." Lisa said " general I take it you brought my opponents."
"that we did." General ray said "bring them out."
a scientist brought out 5 multi coloured robots
"follow me." Lisa said
they followed her to her laboratory the scientist took the robot's to the battle room while everyone else went to the spectator rooms
"I'm getting really impatient Lisa." Rita said "where is Lily?"
"she will be there soon." Lisa said
then lincoln and Lily entered the field
"and there she is now." Lisa said
"where?" Leni asked
"the robotic fox Leni." Lisa said
"WHAT?!?" The louds (and general ray) yelled
"you turned your sister into a robot?!" Lynn sr yelled
"of course not I put her conscious." Lisa said "I didn't take her brain out and put in one that would be stupid."
"that's not much better!" Lynn sr said
"you're sending a baby to a death zone loud!" General ray said
"what? I put Lincoln in the other one and he turned out fine." Lisa said
"WHAT?!?" The louds yelled
then the colour robots were ready to fight
"they're going to get crushed!" Luna said
"get them out of there!" Rita yelled
"this for the better of humanity!" Lisa said angry that her family was understanding her thought process
suddenly lily's mechanical body began to glow magenta ...
before releasing a massive shock wave that made a large dust cloud
Lincoln for a moment thought he had woken up from a bad dream
he looked at his hands... they were still metal
but he had both of them no fish hand in sight
he then noticed his body was more modern bulky and well put together
he hands hand sharp claws at the fingertips and he had retractable wings on his back
he had both legs no more buzzsaw foot
his face was pretty much the same from what he could feel
he then looked at Lily and what he saw shocked him
she was fully organic but she was an orange fox with two tails and spiked knuckles
she was wearing a black nightgown and white gloves
his robotic scanner filled in the rest
species: fox mobian
gender: female
age physically: 4
age mentally: 2
other notes: the phantom ruby is embedded in her chest
"what's the phantom ruby?" Lincoln asked himself
the phantom ruby is a reality altering gem with more power than the chaos emeralds possibly even the master emerald
if it is more powerful than the super emeralds is a fact that remains unknown at this time
regardless of this change in form the robots they were up against still were ready to fight
so he decided to send a message to everyone there
"I'LL CRUSH YOU!!!" Lincoln yelled now being able to be heard by everyone
"oh no." Lisa said
Lincoln immediately began to fight the 5 robots while Lily messed with her two tails
with this new body the robots never stood a chance
"YOU'RE DOOMED!" Lincoln yelled throwing all 5 to the ground
he looked through his data base of techniques he could copy and found one he liked
"TIMES 100 BIG BANG KAMEHAMEHA!" Lincoln yelled firing a massive blast
4 of the 5 robots got hit
luckily he had a technique to deal with that straggler
the raging demon a move that obliterates the victim's soul
immediately he rushed forward and landed a flurry of attacks tearing the machine apart before throwing them to the ground
"I've let you live long enough!" Lincoln yelled finding another technique "GALICK GUN!"
he charged the attack
"FIRE!" Lincoln yelled firing the blast reducing the final robot to atoms
he then picked up lily he was playing with her tails and put her on his shoulders
it would look adorable with he wasn't a killing machine
he then turned to the spectators
lisa gulped and ran
"hey stop her!" Lori yelled before the louds gave chase
Lincoln would follow them but he had other things to do
he went to where his and lily's bodies were being held and he opened up the pods
soon his body eyes and lily's eyes opened
"where?" The being piloting his body questioned "where is the doctor?"
the being in Lily's body couldn't speak on account of being a baby
"no clue sorry." Lincoln said
"why am I organic?" The being asked "and why are you in my body?!"
"body swap shenanigans." Lincoln said
"give it back." The being said
"I would love to but I don't know how." Lincoln said
"I am metal sonic the ultimate machine." Metal sonic in Lincoln's body said "you will find out and change us back."
"not anymore." Lincoln said "you're organic now."
the he heard a rumble
then the giant robot that came with the ruby showed up being piloted by someone
death egg robot his database responded
"what's with the eggs?" Lincoln asked
the top of the machine opened revealing Lisa
"you!" Lisa said
"me." Lincoln said crossing his arms
"you ruined everything!" Lisa yelled "this was the next step for humanity!"
"more like it was the next step for your ego." Lincoln said fed up with Lisa's talking about humanity when this was for her ego
"you won't be talking when I'm done with you!" Lisa yelled
Lincoln got ready to fight
then he felt a huge surge of power flowing through his mechanical body
it was Lily was giving him some of the ruby's power to fight
even though he didn't need it to crush this machine
he let out a yell as he powered up
his blue metal body turned a bright pink colour
"I'll show you." Lincoln said before cutting off the robot's legs with a spin dash
Lisa tried to punch Lincoln with the robot's spiked fist but he he teleported the hand to the robot's power supply causing it to power down
Lisa pulled out a repaired shock remote and tried to shock Lincoln
but the remote did nothing
"what!!?" Lisa yelled
"did you honestly think that would work." Lincoln said powering down from his phantom ruby power
Lisa got out of the robot clearly having lost as the other louds approached
"well young lady clearly we're going to have to have a talk about morals." Lynn sr said
Lisa looked livid
"are you going to have a tantrum?" Lincoln asked still feeling petty "like the four year old you are?"
Lisa in a fit of rage pulled out a laser gun and tried to shoot at Lincoln
Lincoln dodged out of the way
but the blast hit lily's arm
Lily let out a cry of pain feeling her burnt fur and the phantom ruby reacting to this pain created a portal behind her
immediately Lincoln grabbed lily and the two robots inhabiting their human bodies and tried to fly out of the lab as everyone else left
but Lincoln was too close to the portal and was getting pulled in
Lincoln reached the exit door but he was still getting pulled in so he couldn't go through
"linky grab my hand!" Leni said risking herself to save her siblings
Lincoln seeing no other way out threw the robots in human bodies to Leni and was about to throw Lily
but Lily held on
"Lily please." Lincoln said "let go."
"no!" Lily said
"we don't know where that thing goes." Lincoln said "I'm the one who didn't do anything to Lisa when this whole thing began I did nothing instead of standing my ground. So please let me pay for my mistakes."
"No alone!" Lily said hugging him even tighter
Lincoln sighed
"fine." Lincoln said "see you on the other side."
he deactivated his thrusters and let them fall through the portal into the unknown as the louds let out cries of their names

I like to think of sonic were to go super using the power of the phantom ruby it would be pink kinda like super saiyan Rosè
also I feel like I should mention that Lincoln's body can still access the eggman empire's database
so there a three paths that branch off of this ending which I will do in order
path 1 Scrapnik island (Idw comics)
path 2 the village (sonic boom)
path 3 green hills (movie verse)
