A drabble for Barricade Week.

The barricade was built. At the front and center were set two coffins, a large red one, and a smaller blue one. Their prominent positions foretold the fate of the revolutionaries who took their stand there. As if the students wished to solidify their own doom. A fitting portent. They seemed to be placed specifically for two of the group—-the impressive leader and the plucky gamin. The curly-haired student who wore the distinguished crimson jacket, and the youthful boy who wore the bright ultramarine vest.

After the battle, the red coffin was found with eight bullet holes in it.

A/N: The eight bullet holes represent how many times Enjolras was shot (in the Brick).
