It was bad enough that nosy Lois Lane was annoying her. But she could feel the eyes peering through the walls. She was being whacked. As if she were being babysat. As if she were made of glass and would break any moment.

How do you get someone like him to stop watching you?

Easy.

Go to the toilet or get changed. Do something that he would not want to see. Something that would be unseemly or embarrass him for looking. Make him look like a pervert, or even worse. The thought of Kaitou Kid having certain abilities would be terrifying and would likely get him murdered by either himself or another detective.

If only she could see his face right now.

The sudden urge of sadness hit her as she realised she had missed KID. Even though she thought she hated the guy, she was starting to realise he was almost a friend to her. Even though she knew that he was using her to try and get closer to find out where 'Christie' was,

The possibility of telling him the truth had crossed her mind. It had crossed her mind several times over the past couple of months. But she knew that was just guilt, and he was manipulating her into a confession. She knew a good few tactics for getting people to tell the truth. She was a professional at it, after all.

But if Kuroba was as smart as he thought he was, then he would definitely be out of town and well on his way back to Japan, where he was safe. But then again. He was a complete idiot. An idiot would likely want to have a word with her again, and that means that he would be stalking her at any point. Soon. He probably had a bird watching her or some tracking device on her or someone or somewhere else eavesdropping on her.

The thief was either worried about her or was up to something else.

The thief could not be stupid enough to want to go up against Batman.

She could not believe he would be that stupid. Then again, he always made stupid decisions but somehow always came up on top or got out of a situation by the skin of his teeth. The guy was goddamn lucky and barely ever faced the consequences of his actions.

She laughed at the thought and memory of when she put that stupid sign on his back, and he was chased for several hours and miles. He should have learned his lesson from tasing her and trying to use her as a way to get the treasure out. She was not going to let him kidnap her for a freaking gain. If he got in her way another time, then she just might have to come out of retirement for a certain amount of time.
