Harley P.O.V.
Me, Bucky O'Hare and his crew were in the Blockbuster parking lot, watching the woman we'd encountered the night before as she somehow wiretapped a payphone to talk to intergalactic people from space. The setup was insane. This woman had disassembled parts of a Gameboy and reconfigured them into the mouthpiece of the payphone. We all saw a whole bunch of cars pull up into the plaza. An African-American guy came out of one of the cars. The face was strangely familiar to me. Almost as if I seen him before. That guy almost looked like Nick Fury, the director of S.H.E.I.L.D. But that was impossible. The Nick Fury that I knew of had a eye patch over one of his eyes and had bald hair.
This guy had short cropped hair and had no eye patch in sight. I've been dying to meet Nick Fury for ages. I've heard great things about Nick Fury. I walked over to Nick Fury and listened in on the conversation. Nick Fury and Vers were talking about the Skrull creatures. I saw somebody on a nearby rooftop. He fired a photon blast that was aimed toward Carol Danvers. Carol moved out of the way. The man on the rooftop had disappeared. Me, Bucky O'Hare and his crew followed Carol Danvers. She went through the city. We eventually ended up in a train station. There were a lot of people inside of the train station. They were all walking around. They didn't really seem to notice Captain Marvel or us. We followed the woman inside the train. Some people were sitting down in their seats. Other people were standing. Captain Marvel searched for someone. There was a nice old lady. Me, Bucky and his crew watched in horror as the blonde haired woman punched the old lady in the face for no particular reason.
The old lady was rightfully pissed. She attacked Captain Marvel. The old lady turned into somebody else. That somebody else left the train. Captain Marvel followed this person. We followed her. Captain Marvel fired her photon blasts at this person. Captain Marvel soon got off of the train. She looked for the Skrull. She couldn't find the Skrull. We followed Captain Marvel. We eventually followed her to an alleyway. She seemed to be looking at something holographically on her wrist. Before we could ask Vers anything else, we were suddenly teleported back to the engineering bay of the Righteous Indignation. Me, Bucky, Jenny, Deadeye, Emily, Bruiser and Blinky were all confused. One minute, we were in California in the mid 1990s, the next minute, we were back on the Righteous Indignation.
"What the h just happened?" I asked Bucky and his friends.
"I have no idea." Bucky said to me. "How did we end up back here again?"
"I have no idea." I said. I went back through the portal door. I saw my bedroom. My computer, TV, video game systems and everything else was still there. It meant that I was back in the year 2018. Half of everybody was still gone. I just watched TV for the time being.
A few days later, Bucky O'Hare and the crew of the Righteous Indignation. I outside at the park, doing some tricks on my skateboard. Jenny had given me this "memory stone" which acted like a walkie-talkie that she could use to contact the Righteous Indignation. I thought the memory stone was the stupidest thing in the world. I heard Jenny's voice inside of my head. I stopped my skateboard and looked at the memory stone. Jenny's white, catlike face appeared on the small screen of the memory stone.
"What the hell do you guys want? I'm busy doing tricks on my skateboard." I said to Jenny.
"Harley, we're under attack by toad motherships and we've lost communications. Please come quickly, we need you on board the Righteous Indignation!" Jenny said to me.
"I'll come as soon as possible." I said back to Jenny. I skateboarded back to my house. Emily was watching cartoons on Nickelodeon. I told my sister that I was needed aboard the Righteous Indignation. She wanted to come, but I told her to stay back home and continue watching Nickelodeon cartoons on TV. I headed upstairs to my bedroom. I walked over to my photon accelerator and activated it. The door appeared and I walked through the dootr and up the door. I could hear a dozen lasers firing at the ship as I went toward the captain's cabin.
"You got to be freaking kidding me!" I said. "The toads are attacking us again?"
"Yes. The toads are attacking us again, Harley. We weren't kidding when we said that the toads were our enemies." Jenny said to me.
"Where the hell is Bucky?" I asked Jenny.
"Bucky's on the planet Warren." The female cat told me. "He's consulting with his mentor."
"Bucky has a mentor?" I asked. "Some mysterious teacher, who taught him how to be a warrier. That's all Bucky would tell us, we've got to contact him. See if you can get that communications console working." Jenny told me. I went to work on fixing the communications console.
Regular P.O.V.
Meanwhile on the planet Warren, Bucky O'Hare flied a Croaker between several buildings and eventually landed it on what seems to be some kind of island, with a cave on it. Bucky gets off the croaker and talks to his mentor. The mentor tells Bucky that it is easier to take a fortress from the inside by stealth, than from the outside by force. Bucky then goes outside of the cave after talking to his master.
He went back inside the toad croaker vehicle. Suddenly, a Storm Toad appeared. Long ropes are fired, with grappling hooks on the ends. They catched the wings of the Croaker. The small craft tips forward and Bucky fell down. A boat emerges below him, with four toads standing on its deck, holding out a net. Bucky falls straight into it. They close the net around him. Momentarily disoriented, Bucky thrashes around in the net, trying to break free, then gives up as two double bubbles fly overhead. It was then that the green rabbit realized that he was captured by the enemies that he and his crew were so hell bent on defeating: the toads.
Harley P.O.V.
I replaced the repaired communications console in its slot.
"OK, all fixed. Try calling Bucky now." I said.
"Bucky, this is the Righteous Indignation, come in Bucky." Jenny says to no avail. "It's working but I still can't raise him. That means one thing, something has happened to him. Full power, Blinky, we're going back to Warren!"
"I'm going after him." I said to Jenny.
The white female cat presses several buttons and turns the ship around in the path to the planet Warren. I was determined to rescue Bucky.
