The General was furious. He sent his men out to find the one who murdered Mr. Sunshine, and any Saints that were around the Southern parts of the city. Little did he know that would prove fruitless. Kyouki ordered all the Saints to abandon the signature purple until she was ready, well before the slow rise.

Now, along with that issue, it was much easier to keep a lookout for any suspicious behavior or persons.

It hadn't been twelve hours before a call from the islands came in.

"General, it's for you."

The General controlled his rage as he held the receiver to his ear. "Yes?"

"What happened to my brother?" The voice on the other end asked.

"As you saw, no doubt. I am searching for his murderer ask we speak." The General answered, walking through his camp. Entering his limo, he was ready to execute the woman who ruined his business.

Kyouki gave hugs to the kids when she and Tracey dropped them off at the daycare center.

"So- how'd it go yesterday?" Kyouki asked once they pulled off.

Tracey grimaced. "Bad news first. Dex called. Told him EJ is his. Good news. I might have a job at Ultor and will be set for life. Will see in a few weeks."

The gasp Kyouki let out startled Tracey. "What do you mean? Dex and you?"

Tracey tried not to laugh at her cousin's surprise. "It was a few times, not enough to call it a relationship. Shit happens." Tracey shrugged.

"Damn, where was I?" Thinking how it could have happened with all the running around they had done back then.

"Being a Saint."

Ky couldn't argue with that. She was busy. That much was true. Maybe she was waist-deep in keeping herself alive. She missed their flirting. It was cute to think about. "Damn, when?"

"I found out I was pregnant… when… we lost you. It was maybe a month or so later."

Kyouki drove in silence, in thought. "Dex, works for Ultor like I said… but umm, you aren't trying to get with him, are you?"

Tracey shook her head. She didn't want her son's father to not know of him. Much like her daughter, Nimani's father was lost to them shortly after he enlisted in a freak accident. "No. It was a fling. Just wanted him to know."

"Right. Glad I could help. But you know I got your back, yeah?"

"I know. Thank you."

Kyouki now sat in her office breathing a sigh of relief. She can get down to business. Taking down the General, as well as apologizing to Shaundi. But first, the thing that sat on her desk, the thing that was used to compel her to act out of character.

With several swipes on her cell, pressing the call button, she waited for the person on the other end to call.

"Hey Boss, Good afternoon."

"Where are you? I got the thing."

"You did? I'll be there in a few."

"See ya then."

When Ranja walked in, she saw Li sitting at her desk poking at the doll. Li looked up and had her shut the door.

"How do I get rid of this?" Pointing at the doll laying on her desk.

Ranja thought for a moment. She had called her mother to ask what to do in case of such an event. "Drown it."

Li looked up at her with her eyebrow raised as if she thought she heard her incorrectly. "You want me to drown it?"

With a nod, Ranja agreed. "It is the only way to break the curse. Oh. And once you have, you cannot face it again. You must keep your back to it."

"Why does that sound familiar?" Kyouki asked as she thought about it. "Does it have to be a specific type or what?"

Ranja shook her head. That would not work. There was another she could try that would break her from her curse. "Bury it. In a box, fresh soil and light a fire."

"Will that work?"

"Yes. I suggest you do so now that way I can sage the place."

Kyouki got up and headed to her room. She could place her hands on a shoebox once she had it. She walked back to her office and placed the doll inside. "Do you happen to know where Shaundi is?"

"No."

"Alrighty. I'll see you later, thanks."

"No problem Boss. Be safe." Ranja left to get bundles of sage. The whole of Purgatory needed to be cleaned.

Ky called Johnny telling him and Aisha where she would be. She called Shaundi and got no answer. Then called Pierce. After the second ring, he complained about what had happened the night before.

"I know. I want to apologize, but she didn't pick up. Do you know where she is? You two seem close."

"Not cute Boss. Last I heard, she said she was going to workout at the gym. Near her house, hey let me let you go."

"Ok. Thanks." Ky hung up. She continued her drive out of the city where Ranja had suggested. Once she was there, she had done as instructed. Once the flames died out, she hopped back in her car and headed to the Rec Center. That was where she knew Shaundi would be.

Shaundi spent part of the morning going over what she had done wrong. Kyouki was right V.C had snuck her. Her Boss also gave direction to train and workout… all the Saints, including her. Ky meant nothing by that kick. Hurt like shit. Especially her ass and back. Shaundi had pushed her a bit too far. She walked up to her after she was told to back up.

Shaundi knew her Boss was not well, and she now knows, never make that mistake again.

Running laps proved to be her thinking ground. With Sunshine dead, that left the General. Shaundi, after the first mile, she had the thought of how to find him. It was a processing thought. Progressing further to it would be a whole benefit to the Saints, not just for one man. The second mile, Shaundi was certain this is what she could do to prove herself, more of an apology, that she is just as capable. The third mile, Kyouki came in to trot beside the girl.

"Yo."

"Hey."

"Sorry."

"Hmm."

"I am. I shouldn't have kicked you like that."

"I understand. Hurt like hell. But it was partly my fault, too."

"How many laps?"

"Oh, not sure. I am on my fourth mile. Make that fifth."

"Girl, I didn't think you could do five minutes with all that shit you put in you."

"I am actually full of surprises."

Kyouki chuckled. It was good to laugh and not see freaky corpses walking with you. A few trots more, Kyouki broke the silence. "Then surprise me and tell me how we're gonna take out the General..."

This was what Shaundi went for her run for. "Well, that creep's always riding around in that limo of his, right?"

"Yeah..."

"So I figure the easiest way to find him is to tap into the traffic cameras at the police station." That was the solution she was sure would work. It helped them, and they can keep eyes on everything else as well.

A smirk found itself on Ky's lips. This was going to take a bit for her to wrap her bairn around. "I don't know if 'easiest' would be the word I'd use."

"Alright, so it's not the easiest way, but it's the quickest... besides now I get to tag along." Shaundi stated proudly.

Kyouki rolled her eyes. "Are you high? Or do you not remember the part where I told you I wasn't gonna babysit you?"

"You're gonna hack into the traffic cameras, then?" Hearing Kyouki sputter, she smiled in victory. "Yeah, that's what I thought... let's go, Boss."

"Wait… You're a hacker?"

Shaundi laughed, patting herself dry before heading to the showers. Kyouki waited out in the car. When Shaundi came out, she had made a few calls and was just hanging up as she entered the car. "Ok. so I got hands on a van and some equipment. We go into the station from there and hack the cams. There meeting us at HQ."

Driving to Purgatory, Kyouki had several questions, each Shaundi answered, much to Ky's astonishment. "So, your crew are what, tech geeks?"

"Some yeah."

"So, if you have a fucking brain, why are you killing it with shit?"

"Doesn't get you guys."

"Oh, my fucking god. Pierce was right."

"Ew. Ok. Boss let's not bring Pierce into this."

"Yeah, you two are an old married couple."

"Oh, hell no." Shaundi protested.

Ky snorted. "Just wait. You'll thank me later."

When they came to the first landing in Purgatory, Ky called a gathering. "Ayo! Shaundi here has done and pulled a genius idea out of her ass."

Shaundi looked offended, but then squashed it and let it ride out. Listening to Kyouki finish.

"Now. I know for damn certain the General is gonna be all up in our asses. Ok, maybe… Mostly me. But I need others to come with us to hack the cams in the police station. We have a truck coming to set up monitors and I need shifts to keep watch on the cams 24/7. I need to hit him before he hits us."

Just as Kyouki was dishing out orders, Ren walked in with Carlos. "Hey Aunty, I can help hack." Hearing the conversation as they walked in.

"Hidden talent?"

Ren smirked. "Sorta."

"Ok then. Carlos, stealing ya girlfriend for a while." Kyouki said. "Ok. Who else?" When the others came forwards they all left. It was going to be Kyouki's job to distract the police. "This should be fun."

"Why you say that?" Ren asked.

Kyouki sighed. "I get to sit with my ex."

Shaundi and Ren looked at each other.

It seemed as if Kyouki was spending more time in the Row now that it was no longer theirs. Outside of Precinct 31, Kyouki watched as the electronics repair pulled up to the back and park. Ky dialed Troy.

"Hey."

"Oh. Hey."

"I have a favor to ask."

"Depending. What is it?"

"Access to the traffic cams." Hearing Troy laugh, she knew it was farfetched to ask. She did smile at how obstinately she just casually asked the man. "Troy. I wasn't joking." She added when his laughter died a bit.

"I can't let you do that."

"Can't or won't?" Kyouki got out of the car and headed into the station. The group in the van were dressed and coming in with the equipment right behind her. "Cause either way. I need access, with or without your permission." She walked in and to the front desk. "Chief Bradshaw?" She asked the Clerk.

"Ma'am?" Her desk phone rang, and she asked the young woman before her to wait. The look that passed between the two women left the desk clerk confused. "Third floor, go to the end of the hall and make a left." She hung up, following Kyouki as she took the stairs.

"Thanks hun." Kyouki said, skipping two stairs at a time before she hung up the phone, stashing it in her pocket.

The glass wall that made up the front of this man's office was a clear sign she should be furious with him still. As he had helped her through a very weird snit, she still needed access for her personal use.

'Chief Troy R. Bradshaw. S. R. P. D.'

She could see him through the blinds, rubbing his face in frustration. Yeah, she was asking for much, and yeah it was a ludicrous request, but he should understand it's for reasons. "Knock, knock." Ky announced as she walked through the door.

"Where are they?" He said.

Kyouki's eyebrows rose. "Who?"

Troy smiled. He knew her, and knew her tricks. He knew something was going to hit the fan right after he was called in to see the headless corpse of Sunshine over at the slaughterhouse. "You know who. You are here to hack the traffic cams."

"Yes… But I asked first."

Troy rubbed his face. "Fine! I know why. But don't come here or call me for anything like this again."

Kyouki's turn to smile. She nodded. "Let me ask you something then." She walked over to the desk and sat on it in front of Troy. "What they said about you in the shows, true? Are you a cop, or had you been too deep with the Saints?"

He looked up at her and sat back, rubbing his chin. He was Canonized, and that made him a Saint. Though he was undercover for the force, he was and had been with the Saints longer than he was a part of the force. Kyouki's foot was on the armrest of his plush office chair, rocking him. His eyes raked over her body, he couldn't deny it. He would forever cover for her and them. Johnny may want to kill him for being a traitor, but it was one underlining fact. At heart, he is a Saint.

Troy stood up, towering over Kyouki, who now looked up at him. He leaned in close.

"Your biggest mistake… coming in here alone." He kissed her.

Kyouki expected it. She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. That meant they were done. She felt Troy's hands on her exposed skin, in her workout sweats still. His hands rubbed her back, kissing her deeper. She could stop him, should, because she's dating Dane. A small part of her missed him. 'Just once.' Her mind allowed. Her hands went to his neck, she rubbed her hands in his hair. His lips were on that spot on her neck. She sighed.

"Troy, I can't do this."

Pulling her closer. "Because you are here, in my office. Do you know how many times I have fantasised about bending you over, to fuck you on this very desk?" He was kneading her flesh, as he groaned in her ear.

A chill ran through Kyouki's body. She pushed Troy back, half-lidded eyes looking at the man who is her ex, rubbed his lips with her thumb. "Maybe, if you told me… It could have come true." Pushing him back, she hopped off of the desk.

Hard dick? Check. Foot in mouth? Check. Telling the very woman you still wish you had what you wanted to do to her when you covered it up for years on end? Priceless. Troy cursed himself.

Pulling her phone from her pocket, she called for the others. They were already out and on their way back to HQ with no problems. Ky hung up, she needed to take a long drive.

A few days have passed since they set up their very own security room. The cams had nothing, there was no activity, and it seemed really suspect that nothing turned up on this man. Kyouki checked in every so often, disappointed every time. Killing time is what Kyouki did best. It was one of those very days she heard the car crews were back ripping the streets up.

Brian and Bobby came to Purgatory after dropping the last load of the week off in Steelport to Rashad and Ivory.

"Hey. Everything good on that end?"

"Yeah, nothing but green." Both men did happy dances that made Kyouki chuckle. handing her the money. It shocked her the duffle bags were heavy.

"You two rob a few banks while you were there?"

"Nah, Cuz it's from the . The designer stuff ya'll created is a colossal hit. Here are the reports from what sells more." Bobby handed Ky the papers from Rashad and Ivory's inventory list.

Looking over the numbers, Kyouki smiled brighter. "This. This is what I like to see. I can't thank ya'll enough." She reached in the bag and handed four stacks of twenties to Bobby and Brian, then she called in Shaundi and Ranja. "Ladies… This is for you two." Handing them their own stacks.

"You don't need…"

"I do. We wouldn't have this without yous. But now we need to run further under the radar. Think.. Sweets ."

Shaundi gasped. "Edibles!" She nudged Ranja, and they were off calling Laura.

Tossing the money into the safe in her office, money spilled out onto the floor. The men helped her clean it up and when done; she turned to face Brian. "I will need a bigger safe. B, the crews are back. Is your car tuned?"

"Oh, shit ya'll running? I want in." Bobby offered.

"Damn, I would, but… you know." Brian looked disappointed that he couldn't race. "But what you just gave me will be enough to jet."

Ky thought about snatching the money from him, and Brian took the look in her eyes and turned, shoving the stacks in his pants.

"If you have to, we'll miss you. Ok, one race, and then I'll let you go."

"Alright. Yeah, one." He flashed a smile.

"Let go see about getting Bobby a ride." Kyouki hooked her arms with Brian and Booby as they headed to the garage to see if Carlos or Ramon knew any cars they could hook Bobby up with.

"No, no, you are not taking my work car. It's not even set for racing!" Kyouki was pushing her cousin away from the black car she takes out on business. It was a reason this car is low profile. You don't shit where you sleep. "Ok, you can use this one." She led him over to the one she had taken from the Ronin.

"Cuz… You know my style." He hopped in the car, rushing his waves down in the mirror.

Brian laughed. "You sound like my homeboy."

Kyouki nudged Brian. "When are you planning on leaving?"

"After the race. When is it?"

"You know. When we get the call. Well, it gives me time." Kyouki left out to check the cameras again.

Brian called after her. "Time for what?" It was too late. She was already gone.

"Knowing Jefa, something real nice." Ramon added. "Bobby, take it out for a spin. Carlos, go with him see what she needs."

Brian was confused. He may as well go out for a ride with the guys. His ride needed to be tuned up as well.

Two Saints sat watching the monitors, snacking on chips and popping open cans of soda. It wasn't hard to do, but it was tedious. There were a few instances they had the crew swoop in to keep the Samedi from doing whatever horrors they would to the crews they found. The two sitting at the desk in the room stood up to stretch, one went to the bathroom, the other spotted something.

"Holy shit!" Rubbing her eyes, she wasn't sure if she was hallucinating or not. "No shit!" Pulling her phone out, she took notice of where the modified limo stopped. "Nail, you and Rim still at the mall? Get the others there now!" Then she took off running up to Ky's office.

Kyouki just came down into the kitchens hearing her name being called, like the house was on fire. "Woah, what's up?"

"The cams, at the mall!"

"Serious? Let's go. Shaundi!" Kyouki pushed the girl to the stairs who went to go rally some others. Ky headed to her gun safe. "Shaundi!"

"Sup." Shaundi sat up from the couch.

"Get your ass up, we going Huntin!"

Shocked, she put on her sneakers. "You're seriously taking me along."

"I thought you wanted in on this? Now move your ass." She ran up the stairs. "Besides, I couldn't get a hold of Pierce."

Shaundi sighed. "Thanks.. I guess." She hurried after Ky.

Outside, she called Bobby and Brian. "Yo, I found that dickweed. You wanna help take his ass out? He's at the Rounds Square Mall."

"Bet." Booby said, hanging up.

"I got you. See you there." Brian hung up.

As three racers speed up the streets swerving in and out of traffic, they watched as the Hounfor drives off with one of the crew, Kyouki cackled. They all hopped out, their phones rang at different times. "Carlos, go with Shaundi." Who went to the second upper level as Kyouki with Bobby took to the elevator heading down.

"Bobby, I'll let you in on a secret. You can't tell anyone." When the doors let them out, Kyouki dropped the bomb. "I had a run in with them. Shit!" Seeing the General and some of his men walk by. She pressed Bobby up against the wall. "Run in. they fucked with my head. That's what really happened. Gat and Noel were covering for me."

"Cuz, why you ain't say nothing?" Bobby was mad, but not as mad as he should be.

"Because. I didn't know what was happening. I damn sure didn't want you involved. But since I figured this one time, you can help. As long as you don't say shit. I will deny it." Kyouki warned, twisting a silencer on her pistol.

Bobby nodded. Peering around the corner, he saw they were a suitable distance away. Saints waved locations, giving Kyouki the signal to slide out of cover. She took aim. Now. Robert Michael James, never in his life seen his cousin in a fight. When she slid out, it was all business. The shots went off clean and quick. Before the first body hit the ground, she ducked back behind the railing, out of sight. She peaked over the railing seeing the General looking back at her. She smiled and waved.

"Hey buddy. Had ya' heard what I did to your boy?" Kyouki came out into the open. "Oop, would you look at that? Your little entourage is no more." The other two he had surrounded him fell as well. "Now. I will give you a head start before I give you your well-deserved parting gift." Taking aim again, she shot at his feet. "One, you will get the fuck out of my city, or two, you will die in my city."

The General laughed. "All of your bravado. What makes you think I only had these fools with me?" The General clicked a button on his cell and several Samedi stood out from the shops in the mall.

Bobby could see a wicked smile as he looked around the corner again, and his eyes went wide. Kyouki's phone rang. She put it on speaker for the big bald guy to hear.

"Yeah?"

"Outside clear, Boss, heading in."

"Rodger that. See… I had planned to push you out nice and easy like." She placed the phone in her pocket. "You did me dirty, and ya boy suffered. Oh, did you get the selfies we took? I am sure someone in your camp had slipped them too you, yeah?"

"I want her dead!" The man angrily pointed at Kyouki. All the men he had stashed away in the shops took aim.

Kyouki laughed. "He fucked with my head, and I took his. I call it even." Kyouki turned her back and counted as she walked to the stairs to the lower level. "Six. When I get to twenty. Seven. I want a nice fight from you. Eight." One by one, silent shots fired at the men and woman who were poised to shoot the Saints' leader dead, as per instructed.

Ky made a gesture for Bobby to get to some place safe. Bobby looking around. He went back the way they came. When he saw the General coming from behind him, he had not expected the man and four others to leave the fight. He ran back into the mall, then heard the roar. It was loud. It shook the floor. Bobby shouted for Kyouki to take cover. Ky heard it. And she didn't want to believe it, but there it was, barreling right for her.

Up and over the railing, this turret army grade Bulldog was going to run her down. That was if the General who was strapped to the back didn't gun her down first.

"Shaundi, get in here and come help me take his men out… WOAH, SHIT!" In disbelief, it ran in slow motion. Kyouki was so astounded by what she was seeing, she narrowly dodged out of the way.

Shaundi pulled Carlos and Brian to the parking deck after she got the call. When they came to the scene unfold before them. Bobby was at the broken railing. Saints were on the same floor, disarming and incapacitating many Samedi. Kyouki was running from one end of the lower level to the other, taking cover. Bullets whizzing past her. Bobby swore he saw her hit, twice, as she had come from cover and again during a blind fire. Shaundi ran towards where Kyouki was shooting to see the Bulldog driving quickly in the direction it positioned Kyouki. Brian took aim to shoot out the tires.

The bullets bounced off; tires reinforced, as was the body. The only unarmored portion of the vehicle was the General and his cronies hanging out of the windows. Kyouki took out at least one. Brian took out the other. Shaundi took aim and caught the third. The driver was destroying the lower level. Kyouki had an idea.
Prayed it was going to work. She took off running around one side of the mall to hide behind a section with tall plants in the middle of the walk. The Bulldog came in like a bull in a China shop after her, firing, roaring and screeching. The driver was not paying attention hit a ramp that sent the Bulldog on its side, throwing the General out of the turret with a snap.

Bleeding, the man came crawled from the side turned truck, his driver groaning. Kyouki stood up, not believing that it actually worked. There was a very slim chance that it wouldn't have worked. Shaundi with the others came to see the once mighty General dragging his body.

"That thing was built like a tank." Shaundi admitted when she stood next to Ky.

"Yeah… No shit… I want it." Kyouki said as she walked over to the General. Kicking the man in his shoulder heard him cry out in pain.
"Aww. Sowwy… Did that hurt?" Kyouki mocked him. "Why couldn't you be a man and fight fair? I wanted to play a game of Hide and Seek. You wanted to play Search and Destroy."

Hearing the General groan some more, Ky rolled her eyes. Pulling out her phone, she held the phone up and smiled, posing with a 'V' and a wink. "Say… I should have stayed my stupid ass outta Stilwater!" Snapping the last picture the General will ever take.

Bobby was floored. This is what his cousin did when he was hearing rumors and denying them, cause no one talks about family. He wasn't running drugs for his cousin, but 'THE ' Saints Leader, his cousin. Her gun now replaced the phone in her hand. Ky stood, shooting the man in the head and then his heart. There was no way the man would come back from those fatal wounds.

Kyouki shot a text to Troy with the picture she had just taken.

"You all should get the hell out of dodge." Kyouki warned. She snatched the cigars from the dead man's pockets and handed them to Brian.

Shaundi watched the General's life blood spill onto the cold floor. It was over. Just like that, the Sons of Samedi were done with. Shaundi pointed at the man as they turned to leave. "Is he dead?"

"Yuppers." Kyouki nodded and patted Brian on his back. "My small going away present to you."

Shaundi was going over what had taken place in the past week. "That's it, huh?"

Kyouki shoved her phone in her pocket once more, dismantled her gun handing the pistol and silencer, to stow it away for one of the Saints to take back to HQ for cleaning. "Seeing as how we stole their drugs, cornered the Loa dust market, took their territory, and killed their leader, I'm pretty sure we fucked the Sons of Samedi."

Shaundi felt she had worried for nothing. If it was this easy, then they were unstoppable. "So...how'd I do?"

Ky looked back at him when they came to the first set of stairs leading up. "We'll he's dead and you're not, so I'd say pretty goddamn good."

"So you think I could take Gat?"

Kyouki asked Shaundi to repeat what she said. When the young woman did, Kyouki laughed so hard. Tears were coming out of her eyes and she was turning red from being unable to breathe. Ky doubled over, bent backwards, hanging on to Bobby, as he was laughing because Kyouki had cracked up. When Ky sobered, she dialed Gat. "Johnny, let me tell you what Shaundi said, cause you will not believe it, hold on. Shaundi, tell him what you asked me. Go on." She sniffed.

Ky had put Gat on speaker and Shaundi asked once more, finding neither one of them funny.

They heard Gat howling, followed by. "Not on your fuckin' life."

Shaundi threw her hands up. "Fine. What about Pierce?"

Ky wiped her nose and eyes. "Probably not." Gat said on the other end.

"Veteran Child?"

Kyouki chuckled, cause she couldn't contain the giggles now. "Seeing as he's dead, I'm pretty sure you'd kick his ass. Take on Gat . Oh man, that's one for the history books."

Shaundi folded her arms and pouted when they left the destroyed mall. "You're an asshole..."

Kyouki burst out laughing again.

Rounds Square Shopping Center has been closed for renovations.

The Rounds Square Shopping Center has been designated a crime scene after a brutal battle between the Saints and the Sons of Samedi. The fighting started when a limo carrying the Samedi leader was ambushed outside the shopping center by the Saints. The Samedi leader, known to many as The General, fled below ground but was pursued by the Saints leader and eventually killed. Officials are tight lipped on the possible repercussions of these events, but it's safe to assume the Sons of Samedi are effectively finished here in Stilwater.

It was just some days ago people who came disguised as camera repairmen and infiltrated the police station. We now assume it's The Saints who managed to make their way to the security room before the station was put on full alert. The casualties of civilians are said to be low. If this is exactly what the Saints wanted when they happened to be in the same place as the now dead leader of the Sons of Samedi.

Police Chief Troy Bradshaw declined to speak with us about the two coincidental incidences.
