And we are back with another chapter. First of all. HOLY CRAP this story blew up beyond my expectations of the amount of people that favourite and follow this story. It tells me that you all wish for me to continue, yes?
So yea, this is just the story so far. I used the Wings of Liberty version instead of the Legacy of the Void as I find it to better explain what happened before the events of StarCraft 2. Though they skipped the UED for some reason but I'll turn a blind eye towards it. Any mention of the UED would have QAI to explain it to them. Oh yeah and Fenix… right can't forget about him.
Anyways, I hope you enjoyed this chapter on the story so far. I know that probably a bunch of ya would just want me to get into the action but I feel it was necessary to do the story so far. Enough jabbering, it's time to move on to the comments. And we have a whole bunch of them. Way more than what I was expecting.

Story so Far
"Sooo… any idea what we are going to watch?" Ruby asked with curiosity in her voice.
"Well... RGQC earlier did say that what we are going to watch was called StarCraft." Jaune pointed out.
"That sounds like a sci-fi genre to me." Blake said.
"Of course you would know it, Blakey." Yang said as Blake glared at her.
"Oh oh! Do you think we would see the green men like in the movies!? Do they have their laser guns that go pew! Pew! Pew!" Nora questions feverishly as Ren tries to calm her down successfully.
"I believe our friend here would tell us, am I correct QAI?" Ozpin said as QAI finally responded after a period of silence setting up the projector.
[Affirmative. We are 96.5351% ready. We are watching a futuristic world where humanity has developed the technology to travel through space. Other than that, what we are going to watch will explain most of the information. Questions may be asked during the show and I will give an appropriate answer for it. Artworks of this universe will be shown as you listen by it.] QAI explained.
"Well that's our answer. By the way, where did you master go?" Qrow nodded before asking.
[He as of yet is trying to figure out what brought you here. There is a 23.6453% chance that the instability of the portal would be resolved and that it should be ready to send you back home once you have fully watched everything instructed by the master to watch.]
"23.6%? That's not much is it?" Glynda was next to speak.
[affirmative. It is more unstable than usual. It would take time and effort to resolve it fully. In the meantime, more people from Remnant may be brought to this room the longer the portal remains unstable. Enough of that, we are ready to begin.] QAI said the ending part as the theatre turns dark.
The screen lit up to show some ships with a planet in the background as a robotic narrator could be heard as she began to talk.
"Centuries ago, four prison ships from earth veered off-course and journeyed deep into the remote Koprulu sector. There they crash-landed on the planets of Tarsonis, Moria and Umoja." The scene then changes to another planet and it shows three explosions on the planet itself.
Ha! They called their world earth? As in dirt in the ground?" Yang can't help but snigger about earth's name as several others of the less mature ones also snigger at the name.
"Wait a minute, what do they mean prison ships?" Ironwood was confused when he heard that they are using criminals to colonise worlds.
[At the time, humanity fell under the control of the United Powers League in 2229. The new government believed in the "divinity of mankind" and worked to eliminate anyone who had undergone genetic engineering or used non-essential cybernetic equipment. Government forces also cracked down on criminals, religious people, political activists and other "dissidents".] QAI explained much to the disgust of pretty much everyone.
"Seems like no matter where you go, racism exists…" Weiss responded at what QAI had explained.
"Guess not even humanity is excused from racism." Blake muttered to herself.
"Really? Political activists and other dissidents? How repulsive." Glynda says her disgust as Ironwood was next to speak.
"Wait, how many were put into each ship?"
[Thousands of such prisoners onto four supercarriers as part of a colonization project. The prisoners were cryogenically frozen and supplied with materials needed to found colonies]
"Thousands? Why?" Ruby could only ask as to why they would arrest so many people.
[The UPL was to what my master would say, an anti-theistic authoritarian police state. Such radicalism would make people commit heinous crimes and justify it.] QAI explained as the screen resumed.
It then changed to show a city that had ships flying and buildings that touch the skies. "Cut off from earth, the survivors established colonies throughout the sector. The largest, Tarsonis, was founded by a powerful yet increasingly oppressive government called the Confederacy. It then moved on to show multiple pictures of Arcturus Mengsk.
"Heh, guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree…" Qrow snarked as he took a drink
"Uhh... uncle Qrow what do you mean?" Ruby then asks as her partner, Weiss sighs as QAI explains.
[What your uncle meant Miss Rose, is that the Confederacy became similar to the United Powers League and became increasingly authoritarian, similar to where their originate from when they were sent out all those years ago.]
This received a oh from Ruby as the screen resumes.
"Spurred by the terrible acts of this government, Arcturus Mengsk phoned the sons of Korhal, this rebel army fought to overthrow the Confederacy and liberate the Koprulu sector. Even as Mengsk and his resistance fighters fought to overthrow the corrupt Confederacy, a much greater threat confronted the Terrans."
Ozpin could only hum as he remembered in the past in which revolution would occur when the monarchy was getting oppressive against the populous and they had enough. Come to think of it, he did lead a revolution before in the past. What was he called again?
"Greater threat? What is it?" Weiss then asked as the screen resumed.
The scene then changes to show multiple alien ships that are golden in colour, blasting the planet of Chua Sara with a blue laser that incinerated everything on the planet's surface. "Without warning, massive alien warships appeared and surrounded the Confederate planet of Chua Sara, calling themselves Protoss, the aliens incinerated the planet's surface and then mysteriously withdrew."
"Aliens!" A couple of the students yelled out as all of them saw the golden blue Protoss ships in space. However all of them were caught off guard when the narrator said that the Protoss incinerated the planet of life before leaving.
"Incinerated the planet's surface?!" All of them could not help but yell.
"Why would they do that!?" "Why?!" A couple more responses appeared asking as to why do the Protoss burn everything on the surface.
[More will be explained in the next scene.] QAI said as the screen resumed.
The scene then changed to show the Zerg's range fighter, the hydralisk as the narrator continues. "The planet had been infested by another type of alien, the Zerg. These monstrous creatures threatened to overwhelm the Terran space and the Protoss sought to eradicate them before they spread."
"What is that thing?!" Yang yelled out and it summarized how all of them feel about that thing.
[The Zerg, more accurately this is a hydralisk. A ranged attacker of the Zerg. It fires armour piercing spines laced with poison at their target. Effective at eliminating targets at range.] QAI said as Ironwood and Winter silently nod.'
"Is that the reason why the Protoss seek to eradicate them?" Ironwood then said.
[Yes] QAI said as the screen resumes.
It then changed to show Jim Raynor in his vulture bike, blasting a hydralisk in the head as numerous Zerg could be seen trying to get to Jim. "The Zerg had already reached the neighbouring planet Mar Sara and marshal Jim Raynor fought to save the terrified colonists as the confederate government abandoned them to the alien menace."
"Just who is Jim Raynor?" Ren then asked.
[Jim Raynor was born a farm boy on Shiloh. In his youth, he was taught outdoor skills such as hunting and shooting by his grandfather, skills which would later prove useful as a marshal. He joined the local military, but do to some unfortunate related events. He left the military and became outlaws. He and his buddies conducted a series of heists over the years all across the Koprulu sector.] QAI explained as the everyone frowned at what they just heard about Raynor.
"He is a disgrace to the army." Ironwood scowled when he learned on how Jim was part of a military but became an outlaw."
[Then allow me to quote what he said about it. "I was a dumb kid with nowhere else to turn. A hellblazer pissed off at a system that left my parents sick and poor, and disillusioned from a war that was rigged from the start. A game for those on Tarsonis to get richer and for people like me to break our backs over. Good men died for nothin'. Was I a rebel and a scoundrel? Yes, I was indeed. Am I proud of it? No. I am not." He was not proud of the path that was laid before him.]
"So he became an outlaw because of the rich? No surprises there. The higher ups were always the corrupt bunch. Guess no matter we go things never changed." Qrow voiced his thoughts as both Winter and Ironwood silently glared at him.
"Then how did he became a marshal?" Blake then asked next.
[Raynor visited his friend on Mar Sara. Hammond, now the colony's magistrate, offered him the position of marshal in return for clemency, seeing Raynor's background as a useful commodity for a life in law enforcement. He took it and tried to return to the civilian life, to no avail.]
"What happened?" Ruby asked with sadness that a man tired to be good only to get kicked down.
[He met Liddy Elizabeth on Mar Sara. The two quickly warming to each other. They married soon afterwards and settled down as a couple and have a child. However when their son was born. He was considered "gifted" with psychic powers by the Tarsonis Institute of Health and Research and in 2498, requested the Raynors hand over their son, which in the end they did. In the end his son died from an accident and followed by his wife that died of grief. He lost his family.]
Everyone could only pity what Jim had been through as QAI resumes the screen.
It then moves on to show Jim leading an evacuation with the Sons of Korhal as numerous civilians could be seen walking towards the drop ship to be taken to somewhere safe. "The Sons of Korhal intervened, saving thousands of lives from the rampaging Zerg and enigmatic Protoss, disgusted by the Confederacy, Raynor joined the rebels and met Sarah Kerrigan."
It moves on to show Jim interacting with Kerrigan who was on her personal ride. "Kerrigan was a former ghost operative and she shared Raynor's desire for a liberated Koprulu sector; they grew close as the battle with the Confederacy escalated."
The next shot shows countless swarms of Overlords, Mutalisk and Guardian on approach towards a space station as explosions could be seen on it. "But Mengsk went too far in his hatred and ambition. He ordered devices placed on the Confederate capital world of Tarsonis to lure the Zerg and annihilate the population."
Everyone was outrage that Mengsk would so willingly have people killed and this earned the hatred of pretty much everyone. Ruby was really upset that possibly millions had died that day.
Blake started to compare Adam to Mengsk as Adam's hatred and ambition against humanity mirrors what Mengsk is doing as of yet to crush the Confederacy. All that makes her realise that should Adam not be stopped. Things are going to go badly for everyone.
Yang's eyes turned red as her hair flared up at the thought of this man and really really, wants to punch him in the face. Not that anyone could blame her.
Ozpin could only look down in sadness at the lives lost to the Zerg and him trying to figure out why he would do it in the first place.
The shot changes to showing Kerrigan shooting at Protoss Zealots with their psi-blades ignited as they approached her. "The Protoss, led by executor Tassadar, decided to help the Terrans defeat the Zerg instead of purging the planet of life. Mengsk sent Kerrigan to stop Tassadar's interference. With Kerrigan battling the Protoss, the Zerg overwhelmed Tarsonis and decimated the population."
"Whoa… Is that the Protoss?" Nora asked in awe which was shared by pretty much everyone watching. None of them had expected to see that the Protoss are grey skinned aliens that had glowing eyes and no mouth? Then how do they eat?
"Wait they have no mouths? Then how do they eat?" Weiss then asked.
[They don't, the Protoss derive sustenance from light, capable of living off moonlight (reflected sunlight), and can go without light for extended periods of time. Though the process of light absorption is similar to plants, Protoss are able to access energies over a wider range of the electromagnetic spectrum than most plants. What little water they need is absorbed through the skin.] QAI explained as everyone is at awe that they are similar to plants. Sort of.
The shot then moves on to show Kerrigan with her eyes closed as she accepts her fate to die. "Having achieved his goals, Mengsk left the planet and abandoned Kerrigan to the aliens."
"What! Why would he just leave her!" Ironwood yelled out in protest at the thought of abandoning soldiers.
"Why?!" The teenagers could only ask but however, QAI only kept quiet.
"Sickened by Mengsk treachery, Raynor quit the Sons of Korhal. He raced to the planet's surface to save Kerrigan but was too late. No trace of her remained." The scenes change to show a heavily damaged C-10 Mk. VI rifle that is bloodied at the same time. The screen then cuts to Black.
"No… he was too late…" Ruby said with tears in her eyes as she and others watched the badly damaged and bloodied rifle on screen.
The adults however, could only bow their heads in silence. Though none of them would be aware at Kerrigan's fate.
The theatre screen lights up again to show the city of Augustgrad and Mengsk's personal palace that touches the skies much to everyone's surprise at how big it is. "Having destroyed the Confederacy, Mengsk crowned himself emperor of the newly formed Terran Dominion, a government that proved to be just as corrupt as its predecessor, Raynor mourned the loss of Kerrigan and vowed revenge."
"Tch, of course it would as corrupted as the previous government." Qrow grumbled as he took a drink.
It then moves on to show a volcanic planet as the narrator drops the literal bomb on everyone watching. "Unbeknownst to him however, the Zerg hadn't killed Kerrigan, instead they took her to the volcanic planet of Char.
"Wait why would they need her?" Ren then asked as many others begin to voice their confusion as well as QAI continues to remain silent.
The next shot is what disturbs everyone except for QAI. It is obviously human but, having claws instead of hands, her hair turned to Zerg like dreadlocks, spikes and carapace seemed to cover her body. "On Char, Kerrigan was transformed to the alien Queen of Blades, she became a being of immense psionic power, loyal to the Overmind ruler of the Zerg Swarm."
"What did they do to her?" Ironwood was the first to speak as he snapped out of the horror of what had befallen Kerrigan.
[Infestation. They turned Kerrigan into a weapon of the Zerg.] QAI said as all of them could only look in horror again.
The scene then moved on to show a different type of Protoss everyone was used to. This one had green glowing eyes compared to the teal and wore less armour. The most defining thing that everyone can see is that this Protoss has a scarf that covers where a mouth should be. "Separated from Tassadar's forces, another Protoss faction emerged from the shadows. Zeratul and his dark templar sought to end the Zerg expansion through stealth and power of the void.
"Dark Templar?" Yang then asked.
[The Nerazim, or the Dark Templar as they are known to outsiders, are a number of Protoss tribes who shun the Khala]
"What is the Khala?" Ozpin asked as this got his attention.
[The Khala or known as the "Path of Ascension" was the main religion of the Khalai Protoss. It was based on a psionic philosophy that maintained a communal psionic link between all adherents. Followers were further subdivided into at least five levels of adepts. Once connected to the Khala, permanently disconnecting from it was impossible unless the adherents severed their nerve cords]
"Religion of the Protoss? So what? They are a bunch of fanatics?" Qrow snarked only to receive silence from QAI for a while.
[Yes. They branded the Nerazim as heretics for separating themselves from the Khala. Those who follow the Khala call themselves High Templars. The Dark Templars use the Void.] QAI said as the screen resumes
The scene then changes to show a beam of light that extends towards the skies from what could be guessed by the viewers as a biological structure. "The two Protoss forces joined together against the swarm but the Overmind was able to discover where their secret homeworld of Aiur. The Zerg quickly invaded, and the Overmind embedded itself in the planet's surface."
It then moved on to show Tassadar channelling his psionic powers inside his personal carrier. "Zeratul taught Tassadar how to combine his powers with those of the void, Tassadar fused those energies into his ship and crashed it into the gargantuan Overmind. Destroying it utterly."
"Wait, did he just crashed his ship to kill the Overmind?" Yang was confused as to why the need for Tassadar to sacrifice himself to kill the Overmind.
[Yes, the Overmind is massive and thus only a powerful explosion can kill it. Thus, Tassadar combined the powers of the Khala and the Void to kill it. Once and for all.]
"I hope it was worth it." Glynda then spoke as QAI resume the screen.
It then moves on to show an empty plain except for a massive structure that nobody had an idea of what its purpose, even the writer had no idea what it was. (If you know what it is, voice your comments in the review.). "Despite Tassadar's sacrifice, the Protoss on Aiur were forced to seek refuge on the dark templar homeworld of Shakuras. With the Overmind destroyed, Kerrigan assumed control of the Zerg."
Everyone were saddened that even with Tassadar's sacrifice to kill the Overmind, it wasn't enough and they have to flee their home world to the Zerg. They were also now worried now that Kerrigan now controls the Zerg and what she plans to do with it.
The next scene shows Raynor in his personal MC-400 Powered Combat Suit painted black with decors on it. At the same time, he was holding some dog tags in his hand as assault rifles could be seen all over the deserted fields as smoke could be seen in the background. "Raynor began a resistance movement against the oppressive Dominion."
Yea! Go Jimmy! Break that jerks legs!" Nora all of a sudden yelled out as Ren failed to control her.
"Yea!" The other teenagers also voiced their support for Jim to bring down Mengsk who at this point could be considered a dictatorship. The adults were however were not so sure. Would Jim become the same as Mengsk as did Mengsk did to the Confederacy?
Ironwood however, was only interested in the powered combat suit that Jim is wearing and instructed Winter to copy its designs.
"In retaliation, Mengsk deployed his greatest weapon. Propaganda, to marginalized Raynor's efforts and paint him as a terrorist."
"Oh… that's not good." Jaune said once he realised what it would meant for Jim.
"Do you think he can do it?" Ruby then asked her fellow friends..
"I do not know… propaganda is known to be very effective at swaying the population. Just as the White Fang did their own propaganda to garner support among disgruntled faunus." Blake said with uncertainty in her voice.
The scene changed to show a statue of Mengsk as Dominion Wraiths could be seen in the skies and red banners could be seen behind the statue. "It is now four years later, Kerrigan and the Zerg have remained ominously silent, meanwhile the Dominion has grown in power and extended its influence throughout the Koprulu sector."
"Hold up where did Kerrigan go?" Yang asked as QAI answered her.
[Somewhere.] QAI said ominously.
"That does not say much." Pyrrha then spoke.
…
[Resuming show. We are almost done.]
The last shot shows an antique revolver on a wooden table next to a glass cup of alcohol. Of course the viewers have no idea what the contents of it are. "Raynor and his forces plagued by low morale and lack of resources continue their struggle against the Dominion, victory against Mengsk however seemed more distant than ever." And with that the screen cuts to black.
QAI then could be heard as the theatre lights up. [As per protocol demands, I must know how you think about it so far before we continue with the first chapter of Wings of Liberty.]
"I got to know what happens next." Jaune then said as his fellow team agrees with him.
"I'm curious how it would end." Blake was next to say.
"This world is so cool with all its weapons! But will Jim win?" Ruby says with excitement before asking QAI.
[Only time will tell. Stick by and find out.] QAI spoke as Ozpin was next to say
"This world is fascinating. I and I think we could learn something from it."
"I have to agree with my friend here. We can learn much from this world." Ironwood was next to speak.
"You mean copy their designs, don't lie. I know that look of yours when we were watching it." Qrow pointed out as Winter glared at him and was about to retort only for Ironwood to stop her.
"He's not worth the trouble Winter." Ironwood said.

And we are done with this chapter. First of all, I want to know on how well I did the overall reactions of our wonderful RWBY characters. Did I do them justice or do I need to go into the pit for my crimes against them? Tell me in the reviews I need to know how well I did this.
Next, I want to thank all of you for your support in this story. I mean like I said earlier on. I did not expect to see this story explode beyond what I expected. Like holy hell, where did all of you come from?! But thank you anyways for reading it. It has been a blast for me replaying the ENTIRE StarCraft 2 trilogy so I could prepare on how I want the story to go my way.
