Hey guys, it's ya boi RGQC and we are back with another chapter of this story. A sudden WFH (Work From Home) project of mine popped up so I had to divert attention to it. As a result of this sudden project that I had to do entirely by myself (for some reason…) My intended upload schedule for this story was pushed back for a couple of days but it's done! So hooray!

Anyways, this is an intermission chapter that I intend to use to expand the world where RGQC resides and its inhabitants. (He or I, had quite the collection…) Before we resume with the story as a whole. I also intend to introduce more characters into this story and I got a few familiar faces joining us.

Anyways, we got a TON of comments that I'd like to address since I receive a lot of good reviews!

J-SECTION-L: I have to agree to a certain extent. Yes it is good to go simple again. Then I realise how much I missed siege tanks. Or Battlecruisers. Or Science Vessels.

Ayman El Kadouri: If I remember correctly, it appears in the mission where we get Battlecruisers as the outhouse could be seen flying in the background.

Snowballs FF: Thanks! I loved getting my creative juices working on how to make it unique in my way. What's next? Stick by and as for the research objectives, this chapter is to give me more time to think up on how to implement it. (I want it to be good and not half-assed! Or I will never be satisfied.) As for the Tal'darim… They kinda hand waved it so that they steal their Khalai brother's stuff and if they cannot retrofit it to how they liked it, they would just use it as it was intended. So I am not so sure as of yet.

Guest 1: I agree. But I just spammed planetary fortresses and a fuck ton of tanks to blast her to bits. Kinda works funnily enough.

Guest 2: That's good to take note, thanks for the info I will be sure to mention that detail when Marauders are introduced in the later chapters.

Sh4dowSt4lker: Thanks! And yea the tactics will still be important in the future. And yea poor them. The nightmare never ends but QAI or RGQC will be there to lessen the horror by a bit. If I'm correct, the first time I saw the Banelings was on the refugee evacuation mission.

Dooder765: Wow! It's that I actually inspire others! This means alot to me! Thanks! As for your other response. Yes I do read Yasei no Last Boss Arawareta. I want my chapter 40 please! Anyways, Thanks for the compliment on how I run each mission. It is also the reason it took a while as I want to make it as realistic as I could. Huh good point on the resoced soldiers. Now this is what I actually never even thought or noticed (How shameful of me!) But yea, they do have similarities. Though I will save it when Valerian officially enters the scene.

Revealing that Kerrigan was part of the assassination squad that murdered Mengsk father would bring some 'interesting' dialogues. As for the missile turrets, I always knew that there was a guy in there but I never really bothered with it. Though it is funny to think about it as if I'm right, the turret has an auto mode function.

Roy4: Who knows where the story will go, after all, this is based on my gameplay of the game itself and on my memories to a certain extent. How would they react to the Protoss? I think you would like it when it happens. Till then, keep watching.

x-x-TheBurnedMan-x-x: Yea, Ozpin does relate to it to a certain extent. But he can't show it due to his fellow comrades who would notice it. I would probably bring it up again in the future. Thank you for your compliments and also related to easter eggs. I planned to add as many as I could as long as it is somewhat logically possible for them to happen. So no Kerrigan just waiting there when she rescues Raynor.

Oh yea infested Terrans. Hope they are prepared for it. Because I'm gonna make it like a zombie horror film. I think… a bit too far to think about it. And yea Aries is one of the residents of the realm who serves as RGQC's sanity companion. Being alone for god knows how long would take its toll on anyone. Buy yea they better prepare their brown pants when the time comes!

Testarossacain: FOR THE ALLIANCE! But really, when I saw your comment, I couldn't help but burst out laughing at it. Well done.

Actionliker: Yea that's my objective to do the trilogy of StarCraft 2. As for OG StarCraft? Hmm… I think about it. And I'm glad to see people playing the campaign again.

As for Cat's warning, I admit, when I saw it, I went into overdrive and kind of panicked a bit on the inside but some of you readers had pointed out that many stories had received warnings from Cat and still lived to tell the tale years later. So yea, I will keep going and hope for the best.

Intermission 1

As everyone followed Aries out of the theatre room and through a rather large hallway, Ruby took the chance to learn more about Aries.

"So… Aries, how did you meet RGQC?"

"Master?" Aries said as he stopped walking and faced everyone with a rather childlike expression as he placed his hand on his chin.

"Mmmm. Master created me from another world that he saw. He was intrigued about that world? I think."

"You think?" Weiss then spoke with intrigue.

"Well master did say that I was to help him keep sane? I don't know, he never fully explained to me about it but he still treats me well."

"Keep him sane?" Blake was next to speak.

"Well yes, master did mention that he wanted someone else to talk to. Besides QAI."

Everyone took some time to process what Aries had said. If that's the case, RGQC's work must be straining on his sanity.

"So how old are you? Aries?" Jaune then asked.

"I'm over a thousand years old." Aries said cheerfully as everyone could only look at him with shock.

"A Thousand years old?!" Everyone yelled in shock as Aries just looked confused.

"Is that so hard to believe? Master told me that he is over two million years old."

This has come to the shock of pretty much everyone here, even Ozpin who was the oldest of the bunch here. He's pretty much ancient, even to the recorded history of Remnant. And the fact that he acted like a young adult hides his true age.

"That is quite a lot to take in." Torchwick then spoke as Aries just smiled.

"Well anyways, master wants me to show where you all will be staying and all the other stuff. So let's go!" He said as he continued walking off while everyone could only just absentmindedly follow Aries.

"Fluffy rainbow sheep! Is there anyone like you?" Nora then spoke.

"No, master did say that I was a unique sheep from where I was inspired from… But Master did give me some friends." Aries said.

"So you are not alone?"

"Mmm!" Aries hummed as he nodded his head in confirmation. "There's an entire sheep land where I go and play with my fellow people!"

"He really takes care of you huh?" Yang then spoke next.

"Yea! He gave me everything! Good food, a comfortable home, sheep to play with and many more!" Aries excitedly stated as they arrived at the main dorm room in which several androids could be seen cleaning the floors and most importantly, RGQC could be seen talking to one of the androids which no doubt had QAI controlling it.

"Master!" Aries yelled out as he charged towards RGQC who turned to face them with a smile as the android walked off somewhere.

"Ah there you are. And thank you Aries for your help." He said as he began to rub on Aries's head while he giggled.

"Your welcome master."

"That's all good and now, you can stay with me or you can go and do your stuff while I deal with our guests." RGQC said as Aries thought about it for a moment before smiling and giving a response."

"I'll stay with you master." He said as RGQC smiled.

"That nice of you Aries, here have a sweet corn." RGQC said as he summoned a corn for Aries who just had stars in his eyes.

"Thank you master!" Aries said as he took the corn and began eating it.

"Ah, my apologies everyone. I need to explain some details about your rooms before I let you off to spend the rest of today doing your things."

"RGQC? Aren't you supposed to be handling the portal?" Pyrrha then spoke.

"Yes. However I have managed to restabilize it and now I have full control over it." RGQC explained.

"That's good?" Yang then muttered.

"So technically if we want, you can send us back now?" Qrow then asked as several of the huntsmen and huntresses in training protested about the idea of going home.

"Yea so that means no longer we would have unwelcomed guest. Though I can now call more of your friends to come and join us if you want."

"But we are getting distracted, follow me all of you." RGQC said as he entered a rather bland and empty room.

"This is our room?" Weiss then asked.

"Well yes but allow me to explain. You may use the console here to modify the room to your specifics. For example..." RGQC said as he pressed some of the buttons on the console as numerous small drones could be seen exiting out of the hole in the middle of the room before it closed.

Said drone began to print out two modern bunk beds, a table, four chairs, drawers, and numerous other stuff that made the room look like a much more modern version of team RWBY's room. Pietro's eyes widened at such implication.

"Cool!" Ruby could only say as others could only watch with awe as the drones got to work.

"You can use the consoles in every room to modify it to your liking. For example, this room would belong to team RWBY for their stay here. I've already told QAI to give all of you instructions for where your rooms are located for your convenience. QAI has also sent you a map of this place in your scrolls. So you would know where to find all the items you are looking for."

"I can say for all here that we are thankful for your hospitality." Ozpin thanked as RGQC nodded in return.

"Take your time, come around… 6pm later for your dinner. Till then enjoy yourself and if you need anything, feel free to ask any of the androids as they are all linked to QAI. Or ask me since I'm here." RGQC said as Aries stood beside him while chewing on the corn his master gave to him.

"I must know, what sort of technology did we just see?" Pietro then spoke first.

"Ah, that is 3D printing, or three-dimensional printing which is its full name. It is the process of construction of a three-dimensional object. As you all saw, those drones basically printed out furniture. Quite helpful when accommodating different types of guests."

"Fascinating." Pietro could only say as he continued writing it down.

"In fact, large sections of my realm are literally printed out using that tech." RGQC said as he silently chuckled to himself.

"Anyways, next question?"

"Why is Aries dressed like a girl?" Ruby then asked.

"I like cute stuff. So I want to dress up cute." Aries then said as he continued munching on his corn.

"Though it confused us a whole lot…" Neo then whispered to Torchwick who agreed.

"Frankly, I'll probably forget that Aries was a guy in the future due to his dressing and how he acts."

"Well you got your answer Ruby, I never cared on how one dressed up here. Just as long as you don't act as an inconvenience to anyone here I won't act on you. Same for QAI. Besides, I developed a soft spot for Aries." RGQC said as he began to rub Aries's head while he giggled in response.

"Either way, I will see all of you later for dinner. See ya." RGQC said a portal appeared behind him as he and Aries walked through it before it closed. Leaving everyone there to sort themselves out.

"Hm. I suppose we should go to our designated rooms given in our scroll before meeting up at the dining room for dinner." Ozpin then spoke as he took out his scroll to look at where his room is located.

"I agree with Ozpin. Specialist, with me." Ironwood said as he walked off with Winter on his tail, though Winter smiled and waved at her younger sister before following her superior.

"Dunno about you guys but I'm excited to see what we are having for dinner." Yang said as everyone dispersed to their own rooms.

"Guess we will see in time." Blake then spoke.

Sometime later…

Everyone could be seen in a rather large stylish dining room and all of them were seated in groups. Ozpin, Glynda Ironwood, Winter and Qrow were seated close to each other, team RWBY and JNPR were together with Penny while Torchwick and Neo were in their own group and were distant from everyone else for good reason. Pietro and Robyn were in their own group talking about some stuff.

"It did not take long for RGQC to come and sit near the adults.

"Ah don't mind me; our food will be coming here in about a minute." He said as he sat down next to Ozpin who nodded at him.

"I know you all have some 'personal' questions for me. I am here to answer it." RGQC said as a cup filled with tea appeared in his hand before he took a sip.

All the adults could only look at each other before Ozpin, being one of the braver ones, decided to speak first.

"Back when we first met you, you mentioned that you were mortal once, what do you mean by that?" He asked.

"Ah… Yes. I was indeed mortal. I originated from Earth. Well not the Earth you all saw in your viewing right now but yea. I was human once and I had a normal life. But fate is a cruel one and I was murdered in my sleep by my supposed lover. Next thing I knew, I woke up in my own realm with instructions to 'moderate' the multiverse and make sure that anomalies are resolved."

"Is there anyone else like you?" Glynda then spoke next.

"Yes, there are others like me but we are not allowed to talk to each other after the war in heaven happened over 1.5 million years ago." RGQC explained.

"War in Heaven?" Ironwood then asked.

"Yes, the War in Heaven. A war between beings like me to change how we moderate the multiverse. It was… catastrophic." RGQC spoke grimly as the adults who were listening to him could only look at him with shock at what they had heard. A war between the gods is unheard and would be terrifying.

"How… destructive was it?" Glynda then asked.

"Well… There used to be billions of us in a caste system of sorts. Now? Less than a million left to manage a broken multiverse. And a vow to never see each other but to only guide newcomers to keep the system decentralised. Those who fail or abuse their powers instead of moderating the multiverses, are removed from power. For the latter. A much more painful fate awaits them." RGQC continues to explain as androids could be seen walking in with plates in hand.

"But we can continue with dinner." RGQC said as plates of rice could be placed down alongside various other dishes for all to enjoy.

"Mmmm! They smell good! Can we eat now?" Nora then asked as the owner of the realm smiled.

"You may begin eating, there's no need to wait for me to give the command to eat." He said as he used his fork to pick up a chicken wing.

"RGQC you don't really to eat don't ya?" Qrow then spoke as the other adults could only look at him.

"Not really but I do anyway. As for why? Well… I prefer not losing touch of my origins as a mortal. Other moderators had abandoned their origins and ended up losing their minds to their power. So in order to hopefully prevent or slow my descent into abusing my power or losing my sanity, I resorted to acting as myself back when I was still mortal." RGQC explained as the adults could be seen listening to him.

"I see…" Ozpin says as he took a bite as they could only glance at each other as they ate.

"You fear losing yourself or going mad? I can see why. Such power can drive an ordinary person mad." Ironwood then spoke as their host could only sigh in his head on how Ironwood would go mad from paranoia and basically doomed Atlas in a way in the future.

"Yes. I've seen it happen to other moderators and how they are dealt with… I wish I could remove that memory from my head." He continued as he shivered from the thought as he ate his rice.

The table went silent for the while until RGQC finished his meal rather quickly.

"Anyways, You can tell everyone here that the rest of the night is for them to be used as they pleased. As for your clothing, I've already taken care of it and QAI should be now sending spare clothing and Pyjamas to all your rooms. Oh and a hot spring has also been built so feel free to use it as you please."

"How kind of you RGQC." Glynda said as RGQC nodded.

"Oh yea, I also had taken the opportunity to make a classroom for you to use Glynda, like I would let the students escape from their lessons anytime soon." He gave a sly smirk as one of the androids could be seen clearing out his plates.

"You know, you are just spoiling us at this point."

"Yes I am, but what kind of host am I if I did not spoil my guest?" RGQC said back with a smirk as Qrow just chuckled in return.

"Well I'm starting to like ya more every minute."

"Well nice talking to all of you but I have to deal with some work of my own. Have a good night, and don't forget to inform everyone here on what I had just said." He said as he vanished much to everyone minus the adult's surprise.

RGQC then appeared back in his personal room as he could only stare out the window and into the skies which were already turning dark. Everyday seems to be a gruelling day of maintaining the multiverse. But maybe, just maybe their presence should help make his day less boring.

"QAI?" RGQC called his AI assistant.

[Yes master?]

"With the portal now stabilized and now under my control. Who shall we bring next? After all, I feel like we could make things more interesting. Man I sound like I lost my humanity and I see everyone else as toys to play with." He could only ask as he sat down on his bed with his hand on his face.

…

[I do not have an answer master, but calculations would suggest that anyone who lived for over two million years would eventually lose their humanity to maintain their sanity. As for who to bring in…] QAI was about to suggest only for its master to interrupt him.

"You know what, we can decide who to bring in to watch tomorrow morning. I suspect that both Ozpin and Salem, who had been around for centuries at the end, would no doubt lose their humanity as well I."

[But you did not master. You fought on to retain it, no matter how tough it is.]

"Hehehe... I suppose it is so. But seeing so many different ways the story can end but having no idea which would actually happen is rather… annoying." RGQC could only chuckle as he held his hand out to gaze though another world.

[If I may offer a recommendation. How about you look at your alternative self? That should help keep you entertained for a while for the night.] QAI suggested.

"Mmm… Perhaps... "

"Perhaps."

And we are done with the intermission. A much shorter chapter that I used to expand the realm they are in. So what do you guys think about his intermission? Is it to your liking?

Anyways, this chapter is also me explaining more on the realm lords themselves and how their work is straining to them. (After all, they were once mortal themselves.)

I have a question for ya, who do you think I should add next? I got one who suggested Coco and her team, others had suggested adding more adults or parents into the show. Got an idea on who I should add? Say it in the reviews.

Oh yeah! Before I forget, the next chapter/mission would be Evacuation. So look forward to it, I got some ideas on how to incorporate the research objectives.
