Hey guys! Sorry about making you all wait for more RWBY reactions. A bunch of stuff, mainly my work required more of my attention and we are no longer doing cohorting anymore. So, my weekdays are busted but I'll try to make more content to the best I can.
Anyways, let's move on to the comments and we have a bunch of them I'd like to address.
Anonymous13: Yes, Deadpool's inclusion is a joke of sorts and maybe will become a running gag of RGQC disappearing to deal with something? As for your other question, well it's more like how realm lords call themselves to distinguish themselves from everyone else. So, there is no way to pronounce it as a word. This was intentional.
Snowballs FF: Sure, why not. It does bring a smile to my face. Yea Shifting the Zerg from villains to anti-heroes does sound entertaining and would create some good dialogues. Yea I planned to include more character lines and maybe a few poke lines for fun ya know?
Eon Twilight: Yea I noticed that everyone else doesn't give lore to their host, so I thought of doing it differently. As for how I'll show their army progression, research, and Upgrades, I got some ideas that should in theory work.
HiveMind: What favourite race is mine? Gotta love some of them protoss bois. Loved their tech, aesthetics and death balls.
Edboy4926: Thanks!
Zone breaker: Ah! Tosh my brother! Loved that guy!
Roy4: Tell em about the infested? Naa… They will experience the true horror of it. As for Kerrigan? I try to portray her as an unstoppable juggernaut that obliterates everything.
Guest 1: Thanks for the information!
Ayman El Kadouri: Yes Yes, kill-eat man things!
Alexdel27: Let Jaune Arc touch Excalibur? Maybe.
Sh4dowSt4lker: Yup, they will soon realise that the Baneling are not the most horrifying thing in the Zerg arsenal in time.
Poopheadpyro: Include Carbot Omakes for giggles? I see what I can do. It would definitely help them relax between missions.
Rooster: BLOOD FOR THE BLOOD GOD! SKULLS FOR THE SKULLS THRONE!
Dakzillaman: Same as before, I planned to add in more lines and dialogues into the story in future chapters. Yea I prefer doing Tosh's missions instead of Nova.
Guest 2: Here you go!
2EZ: Well thanks for your review wow. How did I forget that Fox is blind? Welp. Gotta fix that in this chapter and the brother gods huh? Interesting choice… I think about it.
SomePervyGuy: Dammit! Though I could trap you good. My plan is foiled!
Guest 3: That's good to know.
Dragoon725: Interesting ideas you have suggested. I am pretty sure that Raynor working with Tosh and saving Haven is canon. Related to the research options. I need some time to think about it.
As for the characters that I intend to add into this chapter mission, they are Cinder, Emerald and Mercury. But I think you all wish to see the story, yes? Then let us begin.

Smash and Grab
"What the fuck are you doing in my realm Deadpool! I told you to inform me before you pull your nonsense! You do know your actions could destabilize my realm?!" RGQC's voice could be heard in the theatre itself.
"Ok. He is mad." Yang muttered as pretty much agreed with her.
"Since our time here, this is the first time I have seen RGQC mad." Blake then spoke as another voice could be heard.
"Heeeyyyy! RGQC I just want to check on you! It's been years since I've seen you!"
"Get the fuck out my realm or I'll send the Tyranids on you or I'll cut you down to atoms myself! I mean it this time! No empty threats like last time!"
"Tyranids?" Ruby then asked.
[Do not bother with that.] QAI then spoke
"Oh nononono! RGQC, why would you do that to your friend?" Deadpool then asked as suddenly the theatre shakes.
"GET OUT! I don't care that you see me as your friend! We're still trying to repair part of the realities you broke the last time you were here!"
"Fine! Fine! RG! But I'll be back soon! Byeeee!"
"Motherfucker." RGQC could be heard as the door opened to show him walking in and sitting on his chair as the sword in his hand dispersed.
[Master?] QAI asked.
"Thinking on who to bring to join us." RGQC said as he laid his head on his hand.
"More people will be joining us RGQC?" Ruby then asked.
"Yep."
"Torchwick and Neo, I'm bringing in Cinder and her small gang here. If you desire to hide that you are working with her, just pretend that you don't know her personally. Just a heads up" RGQC then informed the criminals via telepathy as both Neo and Torchwick gave their response.
"What the?" "Uhhh… why can't I move?"
"I'm using telepathy to tell you. The side effects include temporary paralysis till I stop talking to ya."
"Must you really bring her here? I never liked her."
"I have to agree with Torchwick."
"Well… Sorry about that. How about this, when today's show is over for the day, I'll treat you both to something." RGQC then offered.
"A treat?" Neo then asked.
"Yep. So anyways, I'm bringing them in now. So, prepare yourselves."
A portal then appeared in front of everyone and as before, three individuals then dropped in.
"Hey, it's Cinder and her teammates from Haven!" Ruby waved at them as all of the students joined Ruby.
Cinder however was genuinely confused as she glanced at her surroundings as she was in the presence of her enemies. Ozpin, Ironwood, Qrow and the list goes on, heck even Torchwick was here yet he did not seem to react to her presence or seem to bother at all. With her quick thinking, she shushed her two lackies as she then heard someone behind her.
"Mind you look behind? Because I'm the one who brought you in and I know that you have a bunch of questions that need answering." RGQC then spoke.
"Although I am aware of who you are. You won't be harmed here… Much as I detest you power hungry bitch."
"Allow me to explain."
(After one explanation later…)
"I see… This will be entertaining." Cinder purred as she rested comfortably on her seat. Her mistress will definitely want to hear about this.
Though it was subtle. She could tell that her host doesn't really like her that much. Nor could Salem face off and win against him if a fight were to happen between them. It only reinforces the fact that their host knew her actual allegiance but he seemed to be holding himself back from acting on them. Why though is another question for another time.
Yet, this entire realm intrigues her, especially when he mentions his 'carefully curated collection.' What items could be learned in there that would either increase her power or help her mistress.
"Eh, this should be interesting. Besides, I have nothing better to do." Mercury said as he folded his arms. "So, when are we going to begin?"
"Well… After we fixed your leg problem." RGQC said as a ball of light appeared in his hand. Everyone else noticed and did not care until the ball split into three smaller balls.
"Oh… looks like more people are going to get fixed." Neo spoke as Mercury tilted his head in confusion as RGQC then trusted the balls of light at Mercury's legs and surprisingly Fox.
"Fox!" Coco, Velvet and Yatsuhashi yelled out in surprise to see the ball of light zoomed past Mercury and it was aimed directly at Fox's face.
Both Mercury's legs and Fox's face were covered in a bright light as it then dimmed down. Cinder seemed interested in what RGQC just did as the sound of metal clunking as well as Fox groaning as he opened his eyes to reveal that he now has his eyes back.
"Fox! Your eyes are back!"
"Did he just fix his eyes?" Sun then asked.
"I believed so." Neptune then answered his partner's question.
"Cool…"
"Jeeze… my eyes. Everything is too bright…" Fox mumbled as he covered his eyes with his hands.
"What did you do to me?" Mercury rubbed his eyes as Emerald could be heard gasping at what had just happened.
"Interesting…" Cinder thought
"I know you lost your legs due to your awful of a father. So, I took the opportunity to fix that. Oh. And your balls are back too. So good luck if anyone decided to punch you there…" RGQC said as he sat down before addressing Fox as he chuckled a bit.
"My legs! Damn! Thanks a lot!" Mercury actually sounded grateful which surprised both Cinder's group and their host. "Oh and… Thanks for restoring my balls I guess…" This got some of the others to start laughing out loud.
"Huh, that's new. Anyways."
"As for you Fox, I must apologize as I had forgotten about your lack of sight when I summoned you in the previous viewing. So, it must have been quite boring since you can't see anything. My bad by the way." RGQC said as he snapped his fingers as shades then appeared on Fox's eyes.
"This should help you until your eyes get used to the fact that they could see again."
"Well… Thanks." Fox said as the rest of his team could be seen bowing towards RGQC.
"Thank you for helping Foxy." Coco spoke first. "And that's a pretty cool looking shade you got him."
"Thank you RGQC. For helping our friend." Velvet was next to speak as RGQC nodded.
"Good before we start…" RGQC the snapped his hand as the villain's eyes glowed white as they get their minds implanted with what had happened in the past viewing.
"Whoa… That happened." Mercury then spoke first as he got used to the fact that he got his legs (And balls) back.
"Feels really weird having that happen…" Emerald groaned as she grasped her head.
Cinder however, was fascinated at what was implanted into her head. The Zerg are interesting. She can't help but wonder if she could suggest these ideas so that her mistress could 'copy' them when making new breeds of Grimm.
"That should be good enough. Anyway QAI, do your job." RGQC asked as QAI responded back.
[Affirmative.]
"Interesting…" Cinder thought to herself as the theatre lights darken as the screen lights up.
Hyperion Cantina - 34 Minutes Later
…
"Ha! Looks like I was right! There is a Cantina on the ship!" Qrow can't help but grin as Torchwick then spoke while Winter facepalmed.
"You know, I want to know what kind of drinks they had over there."
The screen lights up to show the cantina as various patrons could be seen enjoying a drink or were busy chatting with each other as the door opened up to show Raynor entering it. The screen then panned towards a man with goggles on his face while a (laptop?) was on the table in front of him before he began to speak towards Raynor who walked towards him.
"Guess you heard the news by now, Raynor. Looks like you're back in business." The gruff sounding man spoke first.
"Hmm… Looks like a mercenary of sorts." Mercury then spoke which earned curious looks from his not friends.
"How can you tell?" Ruby then asked.
Mercury then paused as his team stared at him before he shrugged and answered her question. "Shady looking guy that hides in the corner. Usually mercs would do that."
"Oh, and how did you know?" Weiss then asked as Mercury then cringed inside.
"Had some experience with them before I joined Haven." He lied as Cinder turned her eyes away from him as she faced the screen.
"That I am, Mr, Hill. An' fightin' the Zerg and Dominion all at once is gonna take its toll on my standing forces. You got any guns for hire?" Raynor confirmed before asking the man now called Hill.
"Well y'know, the invasion makes it a seller' market right now. Still, your bartender over there makes a hell of a Mai Tai… So sure - I've got some mercenary contracts you might be interested in."
"Mai Tai?" Qrow then asked.
"Oh that? That is an alcoholic rum-based cocktail. Pretty good if I do say so myself." RGQC said as he summoned one for himself.
Qrow grinned as he then summoned one for himself. Oh, and Torchwick did the same.
"You're all heart, Mr. Hill." Raynor said as Hill then turned the (laptop?) Towards Raynor who began to browse it. The audience then got a good view of the screen on it as it shows two mercenaries available to Raynor. The War Pigs and Devil Dogs.
"That's not a whole lot of mercs he could recruit." Neo then spoke out.
"Well, as Mr Hill just said, Raynor is now back in business. Sooner or later, more mercenaries would offer their services to Raynor. For a price." RGQC said as Ironwood could be seen frowning.
"Oh, don't give that look to me, General. Huntsman and Huntresses are technically just glorified mercenaries really if you were to think about it."
"Wha? Hey, we are not like that! Right, guys?" Yang countered as all the students nodded with agreement.
"You guys are literally getting paid to kill Grimm or to protect people or convoys. That's something a mercenary would do. Am I right?"
"Well…" Weiss was about to speak when Ozpin took over the situation.
"He is right in a way. However, they still are different from mercenaries RGQC."
"True. But we are getting distracted. Let's resume."
Raynor then thought for a moment before he then spoke to Hill. "I'll recruit some mercs later. I need my credits on upgrades."
"Sure thing, you'll know where to find me." Hill said as walked to an empty seat that had Tychus to him as he poured himself a drink. At the same time, the same jukebox could be seen attached to the roof of the cantina and playing country music while TV screens could also be seen playing advertisements. Funnily enough, there's a paper taped to one of the screens that says, "Don't shoot the screen."
"This looks homey. Heck the jukebox is still there!" Torchwick then spoke.
"I'm actually impressed that they brought it with them." Neo then spoke.
"Well, I would be mad if they didn't." Torchwick spoke with honesty as Qrow joined in.
"The TV screen actually had a paper that basically said, 'Don't shoot the Screen.' That's pretty funny." Qrow then chuckled afterwards.
"I guess that Raynor has a habit of shooting the screen?" Ruby then spoke with uncertainty as everyone shrugged.
"That would indeed be expensive." Ozpin then spoke as he took a sip.
"You meet Dr. Hanson yet?" Raynor then asked.
"Sure did. I asked that sweet thing if she'd like to give me a physical. No harm in askin', right? I think she's got her eye on some pansy-ass though."
"Pig…" Winter scoffed as Ironwood glanced at his second.
"Someone's jealous…"
"Yeah? Who might that be?" Raynor then curiously asked.
"Oh I dunno, some white knight kinda guy, came charging down to save her colony, maybe? Damn, Jimmy - you never could read the ladies." Tychus pointed out.
"How does Raynor not realise that Hanson likes him?" Jaune points out as Weiss proceeds to facepalm as her teams start giggling. It does not help that Nora was whispering to Ren as Pyrrha looked annoyed.
"Does Jauny Jaune know that Pyrrha like likes him?" Nora then whispered to her partner.
"I don't think he even realizes it."
It was then that the UNN news network started to play as the two partners could only listen in to it.
This is UNN with Donny Vermillion Meinhoff - refugee crisis brings health concerns - Emperor declares new austerity measures - General Warfield begins 'Operation Burnout' to clear Sara system
Refugee crisis brings health concerns? That can't be good." Blake spoke as Qrow then spoke.
"General Warfield? Hey Jimmy, you got a buddy right here." Qrow joked as Ironwood just stared at him before looking back.
"Donny Vermillion, UNN. We've got Kate Lockwell on remote feed from Agria, a fringe colony. Are you there Kate?" Donny asked for Kate but got no response from her.
"Okay, we seem to be having a sound problem with -" Donny stopped to listen to his instructions before resuming.
"I'm being told Emperor Mengsk is going to address us directly? Let's take you to his announcement, already in progress." Donny said as the TV screen changed to show Mengsk speaking as well as someone else behind him.
"Who's that guy at the back? He looks important." Sun then asked as he munched on some bananas."
"Hmm… personal Combat suit with paint job. Must be someone important." Coco then gave a response to Sun's question.
"Or a veteran?" Velvet then suggested as everyone just shrugged except for Fox who was trying his best to get used to the fact that he could see again.
"... My finest military minds are being brought to bear, and it's my pleasure to announce that they'll soon be led by the hero of Torus himself, General Horace Warfield." Mengsk introduced
"Guess I was right. He is like you, general." Qrow then grinned.
"He looks experienced enough…" Ironwood muttered.
"Warfield? I thought he retired years ago."
"So, they are bringing back a retiree to fight again? That old man is going to die some way in the future." Mercury spoke with indifference as he ate his popcorn.
"With General Warfield at the helm and our finely honed Dominion military under his command, I have every confidence that this new Zerg threat will be contained very soon." Mengsk continued his propaganda work as it then cut to Donny.
"There you have it, viewers. With Warfield in command, the Zerg Swarm will be defeated in no time. Up next: Raynor ups his campaign of terror - just as the Zerg reappear. Coincidence? You decide after these messages."
"Sounds about right." RGQC then sarcastically spoke as several others let out a chuckle or two.
Raynor then looked around only to notice a very familiar badge against the wall of the cantina "I thought I left this back on Mar Sara! How did… Tychus! Just can't let it go, can ya." Raynor smiled as he faced his partner who was holding a bottle of alcohol in his hand.
"Guilty as charged partner." Tychus grinned as he took a drink in his suit.
Raynor then noticed some Zerg claw trophies on the wall before getting onto his feet and walked off as the screen dimmed.
"Looks like this would be a regular occurrence…" Weiss spoke as several others nodded.
"This was intentional by me. Would you all prefer it if you were to watch Raynor walking through the entire ship? It would be a Hassall and boring if you were to ask me. So, I cut it out for the convenience of everyone. Even for myself when I watched it." RGQC explained.
"Yeah, that would be boring." Yang then said as the screen lit up again.
Raynor then could be seen browsing some upgrades while a Firebat could be seen chilling just in the main armoury room itself. At the same time, Swann then made a request. "Just keep those colonists out of my armoury. That's a disaster just waitin' to happen…"
"Is it really though?" Neptune then asked.
"Yes, it is Nep Nep." RGQC started to speak as the crowd started to laugh or giggle at Neptune who looked slightly embarrassed. "Leaving unskilled people in areas that they should not be in would cause trouble or accidents. Either that or that Swann hates distractions."
"Oh yea. For those who are curious…" RGQC said as a tablet appeared in his hand. "Pietro, I want you to have this. It should be helpful for your research." RGQC then let the table go as it then floated towards Pietro who took it.
"Thank you RGQC." Pietro then thanked as he read through the details of the Firebat as his eyes widened. "The suit is not properly sealed?!" Pietro then yelled in shock.
"Pietro, what's wrong?" Ironwood then asked as Piero began to read it out in simpler tones.
"The volatile gases that the Firebats used tend to seep into the operator compartment."
"What?!" Everyone could only yell out in surprise. Well… not everyone, Cinder is the only one that does not seem to be concerned about it.
"That suit is a death trap! Does the Dominion not care about their men?!" Ironwood then yelled out.
"Not in the slightest it seems. It says here that they almost universally resocialized criminals or psychotic pyromaniacs."
"Well… That's something we learned from this suit…" "Blake then spoke with hesitation.
"I'll be sure to do that, Chief." Raynor said as he walked off before the scene then changed to show the bridge as both Matt and Raynor could be seen gazing onto the console as Dr Hanson could be seen standing aside watching the two men who started a conversation.
"It sure felt good rescuin' those folks, but there's millions more out there that need help too."
"We can't be everywhere at once, sir. The important thing is that we set an example and gave them hope. Every time we help folks in need it's another step on the road to a better future." Matt explained as Raynor agreed with his second.
"That's quite an idealist view of him. Shame the world is a cruel joke." Torchwick muttered out loud as he adjusted his hat as several others frowned at him.
"It's more complicated than that, Torchwick, but hope itself is a powerful tool when used correctly. It could help people have confidence that things would work out fine in the future. It helps them to push forward in what seems to be impossible odds. I am not saying that you're wrong or anything Torchwick but hope plays a part in anything. Including yours." RGQC said as leaned back on his chair.
"But you fail to mention that hope can be crushed, realm lord." Cinder thought to herself as the screen resumed.
"I know, Matt - but it's been four years and we're still no closer to bringing Mengsk down. Now with the Zerg back in the mix…" Raynor paused for a second before continuing on. "Your better future needs to hurry up an' get here or there's gonna be no one left to see it."
Matt nodded before turning his attention to Dr Hanson who was looking at her notepad before looking at Jim.
"I've heard a lot about you, Commander. The Dominion always portrayed you as a criminal - a terrorist. There's more to you than it seems."
"Propaganda at its finest." Qrow scoffed.
"Well, with the Dominion bein' what it is - someone's got to stand up for the little guy. It sure ain't goin' to be Mengsk."
"Doesn't seem like the Emperor cares at all. My people from Agria, and displaced populations from across the sector, have all fled to a refugee staging area on Meinhoff. There are reports of violence and disease spreading throughout the camps, but the Emperor's done nothing!" Ariel was understandably pissed that Mengsk did nothing for the fringe regions that needed help.
"Violence and disease spreading through the refugee camps… That is not good in the slightest." Winter then spoke with concern in her voice.
"I'll look into it, Doc." Raynor assured her before looking back at Matt who activated the console as it brought up two new planets to visit. A dark planet known as Meinhoff and a volcanic planet that is called Redstone III.
"Oh! New destinations to visit!" Ruby cheerfully said.
"A volcanic planet called Redstone? Fitting I suppose. Robyn then spoke.
"Didn't Ariel said that there's trouble going on in Meinhoff?" Neptune then asked as his partner then spoke.
Yes, she did. But Raynor needed the credits badly. And some anti-armour units as well."
Raynor then selected the volcanic planet called Redstone III as a dark-skinned man with dreadlocks and a goatee then spoke, it is even more strange that his eyes were milky-white, all while his name appeared on screen.
Gabriel Tosh.
"Gabriel Tosh?" Yang was the first to speak.
"Why are his eyes white?" Ruby then asked all while RGQC kept quiet.
"Jeeze, is it just me for he seemed weird…" Coco then spoke as Velvet then joined in.
"Somethings off about him."
"I hear the mighty Jim Raynor's on the move, but short on funds. The planet Redstone's got the most valuable minerals around - an' with the Zerg invasion, the Kel-Morians packed up and left it all behind. Some enterprisin' men could turn a big profit there. Meet me at Redstone if you want a piece of the action." The man said as the transmission then ended.
"Sir?" Matt then asked.
"We will deal with him later." Raynor said as he then selected Monlyth as his partner Tychus then popped up to explain the details.
"The Moebius boys think there's another artifact on a world called Monlyth. Supposedly there's Protoss guarding it - a group of fanatics, call themselves the Tal'darim.
"Now don't get all sentimental thinking these Tal'darim are your old protoss buddies... 'cause they ain't." Tychus explained as Matt then looked at his superior for orders.
"Matt set a course to Monlyth. We got an artifact to pick up."
"Understood sir." Matt replied as the screen went dark.
Guess we are going to steal an artifact?" Torchwick then spoke.
"Yep, in fact, this chapter is called smash and grab. The name itself should explain everything."
"But this is the first time we would get to see the Protoss!" Ruby yelled out with excitement as several others wished to see what the protoss could do.
"Right, before we begin. I need to explain Psionic powers to you people since all Protoss possesses it. Neither I nor QAI gave a proper explanation on what it is earlier on."
"Psionic powers?" Glynda then asked.
"QAI? Care to explain to them?" RGQC asked as QAI took over.
[Psionic powers (a.k.a. psychic powers) are the ability of using the mind to induce paranormal phenomena. They are present to various degrees in various species. The protoss are masters of psionic powers and are natural mind-readers. The protoss can use their psionic abilities to shield themselves, charge their tools and weapons, and to materialize, manipulate or meld matter.] QAI gave a pause before continuing its explanation.
[The species can also perform paranormal effects, such as teleportation through a psionic matrix. They also learned how to integrate the power of psionics into their technology, to amplify the power, such as focusing the energy into psionic blades.]
"Uhhh… What, I'm confused." Ruby then spoke her mind.
"TMI QAI. TMI." Yang then joined in.
"This is quite the complication." Penny then cheerfully says.
"I don't even understand more than half of what you'd just said." Coco then voiced her opinions.
"It is. Just for simplicity's sake, think of it like a semblance that can bend reality to your will. Now imagine an entire race that has it. That is basically the protoss." RGQC said as the screen resumed as numerous noises of understanding came from the group.
The screen then lights up again to show both Tychus and Raynor looking at the console screen which shows a really large Protoss base as giant crystals could be doting the base while floating as well as golden structures could be seen everywhere. Even more interesting was that some of the protoss structures have parts that are floating above ground.
Numerous giant statues could be seen in awe at how large they are. Numerous Protoss guards could be seen patrolling as Stalkers could be seen all over the place as sentry could be seen following the stalkers as Zealots stand guard for intruders. And in the middle of them all, is the artifact in its shrine.
To say the least, the audience were at awe at the sight of the protoss bases. All of their buildings have some elegance to them all. It helps the fact that those giant crystals all over the base, radiate the feeling of power to the audience.
"They look so cool!" "So pretty!" "Some of them are floating!" "Interesting." "They are awe inspiring it seems." "That is true."
"Glad you all enjoy it but do not forget that those Tal'darim Protoss are fanatics and would kill anyone that gets too close to their shrine." RGQC explained.
"There it is, Jimmy, just like Moebius said. Easy money." Tychus said as the screen then changed to show rows of Zealots standing guard alongside photon cannons and Pylons that powered them.
"I don't know. There's a lot of protoss down there. We're gonna have to - what the?" Raynor was explaining the plan when a large Zergling pack showed up while several more appeared from the ground itself as well as Hydralisk also showed up from the ground.
"Aw crap. Though we won't have to deal with the Zerg for a while…" Sun then spoke as everyone could only dread the feeling after seeing an endless wave of Zerg approaching Raynor's forces in the previous viewing. Well except Cinder and her party who had not seen it personally and only got a glimpse of the horror.
"Warning! Multiple Zerg bio-signatures detected!" Raynor's Adjutant gave a warning as the screen showed numerous Zerglings unborrowing from the ground and charged towards the Protoss defensive lines.
"ZERG!" One of the Zealots yelled out as all of them charged in while activating their psi-blades.
"Kill them all!" Another one yelled out.
"For the High Lord! We shall not fall!" Another yelled out as they began to cut down the Zerglings that dare deftly their relic site.
"Is it me or is their voices echoing?" Emerald then spoke as RGQC coughed.
"As you can see, due to the Protoss having no mouths. They mentally talk to each other through telepathic means. They also speak to other races through telepathy. It is also why when they are portrayed here, their voices seem to echo." RGQC explained as everyone nodded.
"Ah, hell." Raynor could only mutter as he knew that now that the Zerg are here, things are going to get more complicated. At the same time, some of the Zealots seemed to burst into a flash of light and disappear after they had been overrun by the Zerg.
"What was that flash of light?!" Blake asked as he rubbed her eyes from how bright it was. Sun also agreed.
"Yeh. That really stings."
"RGQC what was that?" Ozpin then asked.
"Well… Protoss armour is typically equipped with a complex teleportation mechanism that can detect when its wearer is grievously injured and automatically teleports the warrior to the nearest safe haven. In short, they have an emergency escape when they are grievously injured."
"That's so cool!" Ruby's eyes had stars in them. Several others could not deny that such tech would help minimize the casualties.
"That's… ingenious of them to create such a function. Can we do the same?" Ironwood then asked his Pietro.
"With our current technology, we can't. Probably for another hundreds of years in terms of technology since the Protoss saw Terran tech as amoebas."
"Them critters were just hiding underground, waitin'?" Tychus could only question as Raynor answered back as the screen faced both Raynor and Tychus.
"Why would they be hiding there? It's strange don't you think?" Mercury then pointed it out.
"Who knows how they think. All we can guess is that they were waiting for Raynor to arrive." Cinder then added her thoughts into it.
"Could it be Kerrigan then?" Emerald joins in.
"No idea. But you can bet they're headed straight for our shrine!" Raynor pointed out.
"Well, that sure complicates things. We can't fight two armies at once, partner…"
"I don't think they would have to; they could rush for the artifact while the Protoss were distracted with the Zerg." Jaune pointed out.
"That's actually pretty smart kid." Torchwick can't help but compliment Jaune who blushed at it. But he does not know how to react to it, a criminal complimenting him? That's new.
"As much as it pains me… I have to agree with Torchwick." Ironwood gritted his teeth as he spit it out.
"Ha! There's a first!" Torchwick couldn't help but laugh at it.
"With any luck we won't have to." Raynor spoke with confidence as the screen then shows the artifact floating in the shrine.
"We only need to hold the area at the top of the shrine long enough to extract the artifact." He said as the screen then moves on to show an empty place that could serve as a base of operations due to its proximity and has both Minerals and Gas nearby.
"Convenient base placement is convenient" Fox then spoke with his shades still on his eyes.
"Definitely Foxy."
"So we'll land here and cut our way through the protoss lines while they're busy with the Zerg." The screen then panned towards a Protoss outpost that had several stalkers standing by as well as some pylons and photon cannons and a zealot.
"It's only a matter of time before the Zerg overwhelm the protoss. We'd best grab the artifact and be long gone by then." Raynor continues to explain as the scene then cuts to show a massive swarm of Zerg overwhelming a Protoss outpost as the screen darkens.
"So, it's a race to see who will get the artifact first?" Ruby then asked as RGQC nodded.
"Yup. Though the Tal'darim would defend their relics with their lives."
The screen lights up again to show a standard Terran base of a Command Centre and some SCV's, a Barracks that has a Tech-lab attachment, a Refinery, some Supply deposits and a new building as well. Oh, and there are also 3 marines and a medic.
"There's a new building there, what is it?" Ren then asked when he spotted the Merc compound.
"That is a Merc compound. Raynor can now call additional help should he need it. As of now, he could only hire War Pigs, mercenary marines. They are better equipped than normal marines but are more expensive to hire as a result."
"I figure they could be called in when Raynor needs help when his base is under attack." Torchwick then pointed out."
"Yes, they can. They also come instantly the moment you pay them. Quite helpful when you need additional firepower or you just need someone to defend the base."
The screen then moves up to show the Protoss defenders holding off the Zerg as Raynor's personal Adjutant spoke. "The Zerg severely outnumber the protoss forces. It is likely the protoss will fall shortly."
"How long do you think Raynor has?" Yang then asked as Blake nodded her head as she spoke.
"I guess twenty minutes? Judging from the fact that the Protoss were holding them back with everything they had."
"Well here's the plan. Then we've gotta get that artifact before the zerg overrun the whole place!" Raynor's face appeared as he explained. It did not take long as an alert ping could be heard as the screen then panned towards the pathway as several Stalkers could be seen approaching Raynor's base as Adjutant warned.
"Warning. Protoss Stalkers are gathering at our perimeter."
"What are those things anyway? They look funny. And why does it have a head attached to it?" Nora then asks as QAI answers her.
[Stalkers are war machines that are controlled by the shadow-essence of a Dark Templar warrior fused into a metal body. Nerazim, who control stalkers undergo this process voluntarily, said process involves a Void-powered ritual which fuses their shadow essence to the machine. This gives them a preternatural degree of control over their new bodies. The process cannot be reversed.]
"So, they are both flesh and machine?" Pietro then asked.
"Wait so they are cyborgs?" Ruby then asked/
"In a way, yes. Of course, they must volunteer to do the process."
[In this case, Some Tal'darim voluntarily chose to become stalkers in order to better hunt and kill their foes because they only wished to sharpen their combat skills and serve their Highlord, as not all Tal'darim seek ascension.]
"Ascension? Sounds like some sort of process?" Pyrrha then asked.
[Its full name is the chain of Ascension. But we will explore more of this in the future.]
"Chain of Ascension? Sounds like some sort of edgy stuff." Yang mumbled.
It was then that a soft, country-style guitar instrumental played in the background as Swann popped up. "I got something new for ya, Cowboy! Marauders - the latest word in big badda boom hardware."
"Hey, that theme is back!" Ruby called out.
"Big Badda boom! Imma copy it!" Nora then proceeded to shout out.
A dropship then arrived before dropping off three men that have similar combat suits to those that the Firebats wore but, this one has two grenade launchers instead of flamethrowers of the Firebats. They were also painted black instead of red.
"I ain't sure this is the best time to be experimenting, Swann." Raynor doesn't appreciate using the battlefield as a testing site.
"I concur." Ironwood agreed only for Swann to scoff and continue on.
"Pfft. Best time there is! Let the Marauders loose against those Stalkers and you'll see." Swann assured his commander as Raynor's small squad prepared themselves as the stalkers approached.
"Marauders? I assume that's what Raynor needed huh?" Coco then spoke.
"Yup. Marauders use the Quad K12 "Punisher" grenade launcher. The K-12 was originally designed to crack hardened-Zerg carapaces, but its payload is able to decimate structures and armour as well.
"Oh! Renny! I need to get myself one of those!"
"I am sure you already have a grenade launcher in Magnhild."
"I do! But Quad grenade launch sounds like fun!"
"Don't worry Nora, I have a suit for you to try if you like."
"YES!" "NORA NO!"
"Interesting…" Pietro said as he scribbled down some notes as Ruby could be seen doing the same.
"Cool! I also want to try it!"
"Ruby no!" Her team disagreed.
"Party Poopers." She pouted.
"Say goodnight!" one of the Marauders yelled out as a marine also joined in.
"Get some!"
As the projectiles landed on the stalkers who retaliated back, a shield of sorts appeared over the stalkers as the first grenade landed on it. This of course earned the attention of pretty much everyone.
"What was that? They had some sort of shield over them?" Ironwood then asked.
"What you saw are personal plasma shields created by psi-field generators to protect themselves. Think of it like Aura that Huntsman and Huntresses have. In this case, plasma shields can resist infantry-based weapons, though they can be overcome by shooting it until it goes down. If not fully taken down, the shield would begin to regenerate after ten seconds." RGQC explained as everyone could be seen giving him their full attention.
"So, their way of taking it down is by shooting it?" Neo then asked.
"Yea, Like I said, they are similar to your aura but different in how they are made."
"I wonder if we could duplicate it. It would definitely help in protecting soldiers with no aura." Winter then asked as Pietro then stepped in.
"Could be. Though much experimentation would be needed to work on it."
"Don't worry father! I'll help!"
It did not take long for Raynor's small force to deal with the stalker attack as they were blown to pieces by the Marauders rather quickly as Swann advertised. After that, Raynor spent some time building up his base while also building bunkers as well as another Barracks. In the meantime, some of the members were having a conversation.
"How do you take a leak in this damn suit?" One of the marines asked.
"Forgot to use the toilet again? Ugh, what's with you and forgetting to use the toilet before every mission huh?!"
"Can you blame me? All I know is that this mission could be our last!"
"Of all the conversions you two could be having right now, you chose to talk about toilets. Of course…" One of the medics gave herself a facepalm while the Marauders were having their own conversation.
"What the hell are smithereens, anyway?" One of them asked, as the others just shrugged in response.
"I don't know about that but I'm sooo sexy. I sometimes romance myself." This earned several laughter among the marauders who were having their own fun.
"Gross... who romances themselves?" Ruby gagged slightly as her sister joined in.
"Dunno sis but they seemed like fun guys to hang out with."
"Yea, despite the weird obsession of his, they seemed pretty laid back. My kind of guy." Sun then added.
However, their talk was interrupted when the Adjutant popped up to give a warning. "Warning. Incoming Zerg attack wave detected." And with that, a pack of Zerglings as well as a roach and Hydralisk showed up. And they were gunned down pretty quickly now that Raynor has Marauders in his army.
"Guess those Roaches won't be a problem now that Raynor has those marauder dudes." Neptune then spoke as most of the students nodded in agreement.
At the back, two of the marines seemed to be playing rock paper scissors till one of them lost. Then the guy that lost got slapped in the face much to the amusement of the audience.
"Why do I have to go down without you guys?" He asked.
"You lost. Now get going and pick up that Protoss relic or I'll make you do it myself!"
"Protoss relic?" Ozpin then asked. The idea of relics being mentioned is interesting. No doubt that they are different from the Relics that existed in Remnant but no doubt that they were talking about a different relic.
And with that, a lone marine walked down the ramp to see a Protoss relic seemingly floating above the ground, as if it was begging for someone to pick it up. In the end, the marine quickly picked up the relic and brought it back to the Command Centre to be dropped off.
During that time, Raynor's army had grown much larger and there were more Marines, Marauders and Medics in his army and they finally began to push the Tal'darim. However, when they move onwards. The Tal'darim didn't appreciate the fact that the Terrans were trying to steal their precious artifact and send a task force to intercept them and they did.
Both sides exchange fire as fanatical Zealots charged into the fray only to get focused on and were blessed with bullets and grenades while Stalkers and Marauders exchange fire.
"DIE!" One of the Zealots roared as he plunged his Psi-blade into a marine before being taken out.
"Damn! That blade just went through that shield and into that poor dude. How powerful are those blades?" Mercury then asked.
[Psi-blades are energy blades manifested through the use of psionic powers. They are known to cut through almost any material regardless of density and only can be parried by other psi-blades.] QAI said as RGQC was scrolling through his phone. Though the residents of Remnant could only think of it as a much more primitive Scroll.
That Marine was quickly pulled back to safety and healed up as they began their offensive again towards a Protoss outpost that had a Pylon and some Photon Cannons.
"Hmm… Those look like defences of some sort." Cinder mumbled out loud as RGQC could be seen nodding in agreement."
"Yea, but why is a piece of it floating there?" Emerald then asked.
"Advanced aliens do advanced stuff." RGQC waved it off.
"That… does not explain much…" Velvet muttered.
"Target the Pylon!" One of the Marines yelled out as the pylon for some dumb reason, the pylon was ahead of the photon cannons and it was destroyed very quickly. Though what next surprised the audience as the cannons seemingly shut down and retracted into the ground as its light fades.
"Interesting…" Ozpin hummed as everyone looked at him for answers."
"It seems that those 'pylons' the Terrans called them, power those defence structures."
"Correct Ozpin." RGQC confirmed the headmaster before continuing on. Those Pylons are important to the Protoss as they allow their structures to function. Without it, all their buildings would be unpowered and non-functional. In short. Shoot those to disable their buildings or defences."
"Talk about design flaws." Pietro then spoke.
As Raynor's men then destroyed the unpowered Photon cannons before heading onward to a bridge made out of energy. However, as they try to cross it to deal with the defences on the other side, suddenly a solid hexagonal wall appeared between them and the defenders who began to fire at Raynor's forces.
"GAH! Bloody force fields! Someone kill those Sentries or they're just gonna keep us here!" A marine yelled out as all of them pulled back away to avoid getting shot by plasma and such.
"Sentries?" Blake then asked as RGQC raised his hand up to pause the show.
"QAI, show them the sentries hiding behind the force field."
[Affirmative.] QAI acknowledged as the screen then panned towards two mechanical robots with a sphere of energy on its back.
"They look adorable! Can I have one?" Nora then asked as RGQC chuckled at her attitude towards it.
"They are called sentry, they in short their purpose is to support the protoss army. And as you can all see, they can set up a force field to block or worse case for the enemy, cut them off from escape."
"If I'm right, we have one student at Atlas Academy that could create walls of his choice at will…" Ironwood rubbed his chin to try and remember that student specifically. Running both the Academy and the military is a daunting task for him.
It was then in which Raynor's forces pulled back and headed west while a few marauders remained behind on the bridge and began to shoot at the pylons on the side of the bridges which were powering the Photon cannons. The screen then panned towards the main forces heading up the ramp and into a Zerg outpost that consisted of two spine crawlers, a spore crawler and some overlords that were blocking a path.
"That's the wrong way." Weiss deadpanned.
"To be fair Weissy, Raynor could be instructing his men to explore for more of those relic things like that other time with the weird Zerg thing." Yang then addressed her friend.
"Please refrain from calling me Weissy, Yang." Weiss glared at Yang who just smirked in response.
Raynor's men quickly dealt with the Zerg outpost before heading south where there is a checkpoint with two Photon cannons guarding it as well as some Stalkers there.
"See! I was correct! They were hiding something over there!" Yang yelled.
"But there is no way to get across without casualties with those cannons guarding the pass…" Jaune then pointed out.
"Like I said, sometimes casualties are inevitable. All you can do is try to restrain it. Or prevent it from happening at all." RGQC spoke grimly as he pointed at the screen.
Raynor men get them to charge towards the defences with the Marauders being the front lines to absorb their attacks and somehow, it works! They managed to push through the defences despite the fact that the Photon cannon was dealing a ton of damage but it attacked surprisingly slow to the audience.
"For an advanced species, their defences could use some work…" Torchwick mumbled out.
"True, those cannons got destroyed rather quickly. Heck not a single man from Raynor army died!"
"That was... anticlimactic…" Ozpin has to admit. For an advanced race, they seemed to be lacking in the defensive compartment. True their shields allow them to absorb attack but they seem way too easy to kill once their shield is destroyed.
"Agreed." Glynda agreed with her headmaster.
"I thought one of us was going to die right there. They had literally had us in a choke point!" One of the Marauders voiced his thoughts.
"Hello?! We were preventing you from dying over here?! Where's our credit?" One of the Medics yelled out.
"Guys! The boss said enough already! We got a relic to pick up!" One of the marines yelled out as everyone moved out to pick up the artifact before heading back to base for more reinforcement only to see the ramp covered in blood and burned Zerglings.
"Guess the Zerg has been attacking his base." Pyrrha said.
At this point Raynor's base had grown much larger as now there were now four Barracks with addon attached to each of them as Missile turrets could be seen as well as a second bunker.
At the same time four rounded cylinders seemingly could be seen falling down to the ground before thrusters could be seen slowing it down to a halt as it lands to the ground. Those pods then opened up to reveal some heavily armoured marines that have bigger ballistic shields as well as a bigger and heavily modified C-14 rifle.
"Damn! Those marines looked even more badass!" Sun spoke with awe as several others could only agree with him.
"I suppose those are the War Pigs mercenaries we saw back on Hyperion." Mercury hummed.
"Looks like the boss got some merc to help us out." One of the marines muttered.
"I don't care about that as long as we have help. Let's move out!" Another Marine yelled as they all moved towards the protoss base. The blockade that was once there had been destroyed ahead of time as the sentries and photon cannons which were in the way were destroyed as they pushed onwards.
As they pushed forward into the Protoss base, the Tal'darim retaliated with reinforcements as Stalkers could be seen warping into the battlefield itself as Zealots charged into a hail of bullets and grenades.
"They are appearing out of thin air?! What kind of tech is that?" Pietro then asked with awe in his voice. Everyone else was also interested in what kind of tech the Protoss possessed.
"Remember the emergency teleport the Zealots have?" RGQC asked as everyone nodded. "They are essentially the same thing. Sort of. What you all saw was the case of Protoss warriors being warped into combat though the psionic matrix created by pylons.
"Cool! Can you imagine going from Vale to Atlas like this? That would be so cool!" Ruby was ecstatic at what such tech could do, as everyone else had the same idea for it being used for transport.
"Of course, should you take out the pylon while they were warping in… You would basically make them stuck in time space due to how the Protoss technology had gone to the point of basically bending reality itself."
…
"Well, that's horrifying…" Neptune was the first to speak, after pure silence for a couple of seconds as everyone was too busy processing what RGQC had said and being horrified by it.
"Yep… Imagine being stuck between reality itself. It's not pretty." RGQC continued as the screen resumed.
At the same time. Raynor's group then split into two as one of them pushed straight into the base while the other headed south to secure another Protoss Relic.
Raynor's men pushed through the Tal'darim base with a bit of difficulty due to the fact that they were fanatical and ferocious in their efforts to hold the line. At the same time, more Zealots and Stalkers were warping into the battle itself.
"I'm in a world of hurt!" It was then in which a marauder yelled out that this is gonna suck as several stalkers opened fire on him with Particle disruptors which began to dissolve the Marauder's suit with every shot.
"It's now or never boys! Push! Them! Back!" And with that, Raynor's army charged into the Protoss base with guns blazing as the group who were sent to retrieve the relic from earlier arrived to help in the push. And in the end, the jobs done.
The Protoss base is destroyed and the artifact is ripe for the taking. All that is left is to find the last relic that was detected in the vicinity and they found it just east of their position. Why was it there? No Idea.
"Well, it looks like they did it. The artifact can now be taken though… Those giant statues give me the creeps." Qrow then spoke out loud as Winter scoffed.
"Really? Those are just statues."
"Hey! We have Geist that can possess any inanimate object! Who's to say that in that universe they could have something similar."
"He does have a point though…" Ruby then spoke as Weiss joined in.
"You're just saying it because your uncle suggested it."
As they approached the shrine site, the last few Tal'darim made their last pathetic stand against Raynor's army which at this point was rather large at this point. They didn't last very long.
However, as the army approached the artifact, suddenly pillars rose from the ground itself and from a wall of energy that surrounds the artifact itself but that's not the only problem. It was then in which the three stone statues that were nearby came to life, much to the shock and surprise of pretty much everyone.
"What the - !?" Raynor's face could only appear in shock at the fact that these giant Zealot statues are the true guardians of the artifact. "What hell is this?!" One of the marauders yelled out with surprise.
"I knew it! I was right!" Qrow yelled out as Winter could only look flabbergasted at it. Everyone else, including Cinder were caught off guard when the statues came to life.
"Bad statues! Blow em up!" Nora yelled up.
"This does not make any sense." Penny was genuinely confused as her systems detect an energy source inside the Statues but it does not say much.
However, what happened next was that the statues began to fire lasers from their eyes.
"Oh my gosh! It shoots lasers from its eyes! That's so cool! I want one!" Ruby can't help but yell out loud.
"Statues that attack with laser eyes? That's new. Are there any others like this in the multiverse RGQC? Ozpin then asked."
"Yes, there are. Though the others are more primitive compared to this one." RGQC answered. (Looking at you Tomb Kings with your Hierotitan that shoot lasers out of your eyes…)
"Focus fire on one of them and watch out for the lasers!" One of Raynor's men yelled out as they blasted one of the statues down with grenades and bullets which began to tear the statue apart. It did not take long for the first one to fall and then do the same with the other two statues.
As the last statues came down, cheers could be heard from the men and women. The same could be said about the audience who were cheering as the last statue fell down and crumbled to dust.
"That was awesome!" Sun cheered as his team could only agree.
"Down goes the statue thing!" Nora yelled out joy as she got to see stuff explode.
"This is quite a show." Cinder hummed as her suborates agreed with her. Especially Mercury who was engaged in it.
It was then in which Swann appeared on screen. "I got a crew coming down to pick up the artifact!" He said as the dropship landed down to extract the artifact as the rest of Raynor's men pulled back for extraction.
As soon as the artifact was secured, Raynor's face appeared on screen. "We got what we came for! Let's high-tail it out of here!" He yelled out as the dropship took off and began flying away. However, things were not as simple as it was as Kerrigan made her appearance on screen as the camera follows the dropship.
With her glowing orange eyes, Zerg-like dreadlocks as well as her inhuman expression on her face.
"Is that…'' Velvet spoke with a tinge of fear only for RGQC to interrupt her.
"Kerrigan. The Queen of Blades herself."
"I was wondering when we would see her… Guess the time was now…" Qrow muttered as he drank his canteen down.
"I forgot how resourceful you were, Jim. I won't make that mistake twice." She voiced her annoyance at his success before swearing that she would not forget his penchant for resourcefulness a second time. Raynor however, uttered one word before the screen went dark.
"Kerrigan."
It was then that Ruby then asked. "Are we done yet? I drank too much and I need to pee."
RGQC however just chuckled before answering. "We are almost done. Just hold on for a bit longer, ok?"
"Ok RGQC I can wait." Ruby nodded as the screen lit up again.
The screen then lights up to show footage of what appears to be a fight between the Zerg and Terrans. The screen keeps cutting out but the audience could only get glimpses of guns firing as well as men screaming or Zerg screeching. Understandably the audiences were disturbed as to why the screen is showing this footage. As it goes on, it then pauses on Kerrigan's face as she was about to attack the person recording the footage.
"Good lord. That was disturbing. And I just got my eyes back." Fox spoke as his team nodded in agreement.
The screen then pulls back before revealing the person who was watching the footage. And that person is Tychus himself, who proceeds to relight his cigar. At the same time, the screen then revealed the time.
"Ok, does anyone want to believe that Tychus is acting suspicious?" Ren then spoke as some of the audience raised their hands.
"Aye." "Yup." "Definitely suspicious."
"Hehe… Tychus sus." RGQC thought to himself as he chuckled.
Hyperion Archive - 20:32 Shipboard Time
Tychus then proceeds off the screen before seeing Horner's reflection on it and turns his seat towards him.
"How long has Matt been there?" Ozpin then asked as he took a sip.
"Long enough Ozpin." RGQC then replied back.
"That's funny, convict," Matt paused as Tychus looked at him and removed the cigar from his mouth. "I don't recall giving you access to our database." He continued as the screen faces him now.
"So, he hacked into it. Not bad for one stuck on ice I must say. Not bad at all." Torchwick sounded impressed at what Tychus had done.
"He still got caught though. 7/10 for me." Neo then joined in.
"Just keeping up on current events, 'Captain'." Tychus excuses himself as Matt looks unimpressed before he walks up and turns on screen again, still frozen on Kerrigan's image.
"I believe that he is lying." Ozpin then voiced his thoughts as his second then added in.
"Agreed."
Findlay looks at it and goes back to Horner. "Seems this 'Queen of Blades' got everybody running scared." He then scoffs before he finishes with what he wanted to say. "She don't look so tough."
"Does she?" Mercury then asked.
"Yes. She could kill you with her mind if she wishes." RGQC added in as Mercury's face paled a bit. Of course, RGQC noticed it and smirked.
"You have no idea who she is, do you, Tychus?" Matt rhetorically asked Tychus who just smirks.
"Don't matter to me none."
Matt briefly flicks a gaze to the deck, turns away to walk up to the window and stares out into space before speaking again. "Well it matters to Jim. They were...close once."
Tychus then glances at the screen in genuine surprise. "Wait a minute... "Tychus pauses as he let out a long and hearty chuckle before resuming. "you're tellin' me they were shacked up?!" Tychus asks as the screen then focuses on Matt who continues to stare off to space.
"Apparently she was something else... before the Zerg took her." Matt paused as he looked over shoulder at the screen. "Turned her into that." He finished as the screen then solely focused only on Kerrigan.
"And Jimmy feels responsible." Tychus then added in as Matt continued while staring out the window again.
"Honestly, if we have to face her again I don't know what he'll do." Matt admitted.
Tychus then could be seen doing a Puff on his cigar "Woman like that...there's only one thing to do." He then reaches out to screen with a cigar as he speaks, and butts it out on Kerrigan's forehead as the screen cuts to black.
"Well, that's ominous." Yang was the first one to speak as the lights in the theatre room came back.
"So, what happens next?" Sun then asked.
"Well then, we shall see after a break an-" RGQC was about to give them a break when QAI butted in.
[Alert! Another unstable portal connected to an alternative Remnant has been detected!]
"What?! Already?!" RGQC yelled out as he summoned his pad and began to read the details.
"That's new…" Jaune muttered.
"Indeed." Pyrrha agrees.
"Oh… This is going to get awkward… QAI?"
[Yes master?]
"I'm going to allow you to deal with her when she arrives here. I'll go prepare myself to fix it pronto." RGQC said with urgency as he vanished.
"Her?" Everyone could only ask when a portal suddenly appeared and a woman in her teens fell out of it.
What is more obvious was that she appears to be a cat Faunus due to her ears, in a hybridized uniform of royalty and military in a way. Her outfit has the Insignia of the Belladonnas on her neck, which Blake instantly noticed. She also wears a black cloak that covers her body, as well as a notable metallic piece attached to her clothes. Her right shoulder was strange to everyone. She bears Blake's symbol, yet it is surrounded by a circle and has wings that extend outwards.
Her overall colour scheme seemed to be a mixture of green and purple that somehow fits her. On her waist is a belt that has a golden-black gun that looks like an heirloom gun passed down to her by her parents. But, the most defining feature was her overall look. She looks a lot like Blake except that her eyes were green and her hair was tied up in a ponytail.
"Ugh…" She groaned as she got up onto her feet with her hand on her head.
"Never gonna drink that much again. Should have listened to mom and dad about not drinking too much alcohol…" She let out another groan as Ruby got out of her seat and approached her.
"Uhh... hello? Who are you?"
"Aunt Ruby? Why do you sound so young? I must still be drunk." The mysterious Faunus girl then asked with her hand still on her face while wobbling a bit, much to everyone's surprise.
"AUNT?!"
"Wait wait wait! I'm an aunt?!" Ruby yelled out as Blake then got onto her feet.
"Who are you and why do you have my face?" Blake demanded as she walked up to the mysterious cat Faunus.
"Mom?! You're here too?!" The girl then opened her eyes in shock as she stared at Blake. And they do look similar with the cat ears and all.
…
…
"MOM?!"
Author's notes.
And finally, we are done with Smash and Grab! FINALLY! I can finally get some sleep!
Anyways, this whole chapter took 32 pages. (God help me.)
Besides that, apparently the Covid cases in Singapore shot up again all because people can't keep their pants to themselves. Oh, and the fish markets as well. This resulted in me going back to cohorting which means I get more time to write. So that's a plus.
Also, my my. Who's this new person I introduced. These are guest OC characters in a way who would show up for one chapter then disappear at the end of it. Just something to mix things up a bit.
And we are done. If you like my work and want to see more of it in the future, favourite and follow this work of mine. If you wish to say anything to me, good or bad. Leave a review. I will answer it if I feel it is relevant.
Other than that, I will see ya guys in the next chapter soon.
RGQC out!
