Hey guy, RGQC here and we are back! Now this chapter will be the mission, The Devil's Playground. A part of me hated this mission on brutal when I replayed it. God. I hate every second of it. Anyways before we start, we have comments to address.

Guest 1: Well, we know that Menagerie was run by the Belladonnas since they called Ghira Chieftain. So, it's not really a monarchy but more like a chieftain tribe. Of course, Jade changed that and brought Monarchism to Menagerie with full intention to democratise in time.

Guest 3: This is based on my gameplay in Wings. So, I did choose Tosh if you were curious.
Nitro54: Nora would pretty much want anything that interests her greatly. So, her having a pet Sentry is no problem.

Sh4dowSt4lker: Thanks! As I said before, Lily would be a temporary resident in RGQC's Realm. So, if there's another intermission in the future, you can expect more dialogues between the cast and Lily. I agree! Tosh is my favourite character in Wings and I'm glad I chose his side in the end!
Ssgtsplatter: Salem would be introduced much later in the story but she will appear. Eventually. And I agree on Summer being the only dead person brought back for simplicity's sake.
Guest 6: Yea, now that I think about it, I've never seen any C&C react videos. There are some that give a glimpse into it but not a full blown react series. And yes, KANE LIVES.
HelpingHand: Yes, we will see more Carbot in the future, it wouldn't be fun if I show only 5 episodes and just stop there yea? Besides that, I would need to ask permission from them first if I wish to borrow their characters yea?

The Devil's Playground
RGQC could then be seen walking back to his chair as Ruby then asked. "Is Dad going to join us?"
"You mean Tai? Yea. And several others that would be joining us. Yang breathed in heavily as she took over.
"Is mom coming?" She asked as Ruby, Qrow, Ozpin and several others could only look at her with either confusion or concern.
RGQC just grimly nodded. "Yea, she would be joining us. Try not to, well... start a fight, K?" RGQC requested as Yang reluctantly nodded in agreement to his request. It was then that a portal appeared and four adults dropped into the theatre room.
Tai was the first one dropped into the theatre, then followed by Raven, Kail and finally Ghira. At first, they were understandably confused
"What the?!"
"Dad!" "Hey Tai."
"Girls?! Ozpin? ...Raven"
"Is that who I think she is?" "Yup. Definitely similar."
"Mom!" "Blake? Dear?" "Blake?"
"Taiyang." "...Mom/...Sis."
A whole bunch of talking could be heard as everyone else just stood by and watched as those who knew each other started to 'talk' to each other. It wasn't long till RGQC clapped his hands to get the attention of those currently in the room."
"Welcome parents of Ruby, Yang and Blake. I am RGQC and I welcome you to my realm." RGQC greeted his new guest as he gave a formal bow towards them.
"Uh, hi?" Tai was the first to speak up as RGQC placed his gaze on all of the adults. However, his gaze on Raven was noticeably hashers compared to the calm and friendly demeanour he offered to everyone else.
"Hello there! You have an interesting name but it's a pleasure to meet you RGQC, I am Kali Belladonna and this is my husband Ghira Belladonna." Kali introduced herself as RGQC's smile grew wider.
"Right… I still don't trust you in the slightest but it's obvious that you kept my girls safe in your… 'Realm…'"
"Yea! RGQC gave us a place to sleep, eat and relax while here, I trust him dad!" Ruby spoke out in favour of RGQC as Tai gazed upon his daughter before sighing.
"I suppose I could maybe trust you slightly…"
"I suppose that would have to do, but first. We are missing one more guest that is supposed to join us. And this might be a bit shocking to everyone seeing this but this is my realm, so I." RGQC held his hand out as a rainbow-coloured ball formed in his hand.
"RGQC, who's the last guest you're bringing now?" Yang then asked as she continued to stare at Raven behind her back.
"I think you'll like this. Nothing like cheating death of a soul." RGQC responded with a sinister smile before throwing the rainbow ball to its right, the ball then expanded out into a portal that leads into somewhere where it's just pitch-black empty void.
RGQC then shoved his hand into the portal as it rippled before ripping out a ball of energy that glowed red. As he does that the portal began to waver before vanishing into thin air, all while RGQC held the red ball of energy in his hands.
"RGQC what is that? I sense a massive amount of aura energy in that." Penny then asked as everyone then began to wonder what it was actually. Except Ruby who recognised it with that same aura.
"Mom?" She asked as her sister looked at her for answers.
"Ruby, are you sure?"
Yang asked as RGQC then let the ball of aura float to his side and with a snap of his fingers, a bright light came out of his fingers and began to engulf the red ball of aura. The light then began to spread out which also had the side effect of blinding everyone in the room temporarily, except for Fox because of his shades as well as RGQC who quickly summoned a pair for himself.
As the light faded away, someone else was standing in the room with a white hood in place of the red aura. It didn't take long for those who knew her personally to recognize her.
"Summer?" "Shortstack…" "..."
"Mom...?" Ruby called her out as she stood up. Her body was trembling as she just barley at the thought of seeing her again.
"Ruby is that you? You've… grown up." Summer finally spoke and these were the words that Ruby only needed before she zipped up towards her supposed deceased mother and gave her a tight hug. All with tears in her eyes.
"Oh, Ruby… everything is going to be alright now… mummy is back now…" Summer began to hug Ruby back as she began to stroke her back all while Ruby began to actively cry into her chest.
After all these years, those horrible nights alone, sadness as well as all those negative emotions that were buried underneath her smile were all let loose.
Finally.
"Mom… it's you… it's truly you… I… I missed you for so long…" Ruby sobbed as she stuttered through her words.
"There… there… let it all out Ruby… I'm so sorry I left you behind before. I won't let it happen again." Summer muttered her promise into her daughter's ears. Ruby began to cry ever louder than before, all as everyone could only watch it through.
Taiyang, Qrow and Yang were at a loss for words with their eyes wide open, one of the most important people in their life was back, and for real this time. Though both Yang and Qrow knew RGQC for at least a day now, they never knew that he could cheat death and bring the one they loved back.
As for Raven? Even though she doesn't wish to admit it, she too wasn't doing herself any better herself, in fact. She had to will herself to not break down upon seeing her leader again. Even more that obvious was that she was failing at holding it together.
As for everyone else? They were genuinely shocked at what had just happened. One could say they witnessed a miracle that had occurred. Never in their lives had they ever seen someone come back to life, and this realm lord did just that. He cheated death to bring someone back. The remaining people who knew team RWBY, that includes their sister team JNPR, team CFVY and SSSN. All of them were shocked but happy at what had just transpired.
As for Ozpin? For the first time in a long while, he felt relieved. One of his biggest regrets he had ever made had been removed from his back. He really needs to apologize to the Rose & Xiao Long family later. They deserve it after what he had done to them.
As for Ironwood and Winter? They were genuinely surprised by what RGQC had just done. In fact, it started to make sense for Winter. As to why Qrow is like this, he lost someone important to him. Just like how Raynor lost Kerrigan to the Zerg before descending into alcoholism. It all makes too much sense now; she had her suspicions but this just proves it further even more. Just like mother in a way.
Penny was extraordinarily happy for her best friends, the same could be said about Pietro who just smiled at what had just happened. This god continues to surprise him in many ways. Robyn was touched at what had happened, in fact. A part of her wished for her team to be here as well. Perhaps she could ask RGQC to bring them in.
As for our bad guys? Torchwick just took off his hat and placed it on his chest. A sense of respect he could give to red, even if he never liked her. Neo, despite everything, just smiles. It reminded her of how Roman founded her in the streets and saved her that day. She will never forget it.
As for Cinder and her gang? Well… Mercury and Cinder could give any flying fucks as to the miracle that just happened. Except for Emerald that had a sense of wonder in her eyes.
"Well, I'm glad that we had a heart-warming scene. In fact, it kind of makes me wish for a companion of my own… but at this point, one could say I'm married to my job. Anyways, Summer Rose, are you well? What's the last thing you remember?" RGQC then asked as Ruby refused to separate from her mother.
"I'm well, uh… what's your name?" Summer sheepishly asked.
"Right, I'm RGQC. It is a pleasure meeting you, mother of Ruby and Yang." RGQC bowed as Raven's eyes twitched slightly.
"And I'm Summer Rose, a pleasure meeting you as well and thank you. For what you've done."
"Don't mention it." RGQC waved it off.
"Now knowing the brother gods, they would no doubt get cranky at what I'm doing here. Let them come."
"As for what's the last thing I remember? I… Remember surviving a massive horde of Grimm before-" Summer shuttered as those who knew Summer's end tensed up.
"Ok that's enough, no doubt your death was rather traumatizing to you. Before that, allow me to explain as to why you all are here."
(Explanation later…)
"This is not what I expected after my death…" Summer muttered.
"True. Though I suppose I can use this time to catch up with my baby daughter." Kali deadpanned before switching to her enthusiastic self."
"Mom! Not now!" Blake cried out.
"Well then, I suppose it's best you all get to your seats. I think we've wasted enough time already." And with that everyone got to their seats. Especially Summer and Tai who sat with their family while Raven was a distance away because Raven.
"Oh yea! I almost forgot!" RGQC then snapped his fingers as all of the newly joined guest eyes glowed white.
"Whoa. That's… not what I expected." Tai muttered.
"They have an assault rifle that fires like a machine gun as well as uses rounds of a sniper?! That sounds awesome!" Summer yelled out with the same enthusiasm as her daughter.
"I know right! It's so cool and I want to make one myself when I get the chance!"
"Like mother like daughter it seems." Qrow chuckled.
"This would be interesting…" Kali muttered as Ghira just grunted.
"Now then we sha-" RGQC was about to start when the theatre door opens up to show Lily with a shit eating grin on her face.
"Oh hey grandma Kali and grandpa Ghira!" Lily called out before closing the door and running away laughing with what most of the audience could guess was Aries chasing after her.
"Hey wait! That's very rude of you Lily! Get back here!" His voice could be heard as it got continuously softer.
…
"I'm a grandma?" Kali spoke out with genuine surprise.
"Oh no." Blake muttered.
"Who was that? And why does she look like my daughter?" Ghira then asked as he narrowed his eyes.
"Well… that's your granddaughter from an alternative universe. I see that she picked up that trollish habit from her father."
"I have a granddaughter?!" Kali then became ecstatic all while poor Blake could only brace for the teasing that is to come.
"Yes, you do, but you can talk more to your granddaughter after the viewing." RGQC acknowledged before sitting down on his chair. "Now let us continue, QAI you may take over."
[Affirmative. As before, we will resume where we left off.]
"Oh, I'm so excited!" Nora cheered.
Hyperion Bridge - 15 Minutes Later
…
The screen lights up to show Raynor staring at the main bridge console as the door opens up to show Matt entering into the room. As he walked in, Matt reported what had happened a while ago to his boss and also voiced his concerns.
"I caught Tychus hacking into our database, sniffing around about Kerrigan. I don't know what his game is, but we clearly can't trust him."
"I agree with him, Tychus is acting suspicious." Winter stated as some of the audience nodded their heads in agreement with the elder Schnee.
"Matt, me an' Tychus ran together a long time - got into all sorts of trouble. When the law finally caught up, he took the rap for both of us. Never once ratted me out. I got a second chance, he got locked up." Raynor explained to his second but Matt doesn't seem to be convinced enough.
"I understand your loyalty, sir, but —" Matt was about to protest it but Raynor cut him off.
"I owe him, Matt. Leave it be."
Matt, probably realising that Raynor isn't gonna budge anytime soon, relents. "Yes Sir."
"Raynor really trusts Tychus huh?" Neo then spoke out.
"Yea, but who could blame him? Tychus sacrificed himself to the cops so that his buddy Raynor could flee. Anyone who's in that position would be inclined to protect their friend who saved them. Yea?"
"Makes sense to me. Neo here saved me countless times when things get tough." Roman admitted as several of the Beacon students frowned. Clearly, they weren't happy that Roman had escaped them with Neo's help.
The screen then darkens as the text as to where Raynor went was displayed on screen.
Hyperion Cantina - 47 Minutes Later
…
The screen then lights up to show the cantina as the jukebox could be heard playing Raw Power in the background as Raynor decided to have a talk with his buddy about the recent events.
"Your Moebius buddies ever happen to mention that the Queen of Blades wants these artifacts too?" Raynor asked as Tychus defended himself.
"Hey, they just give me the missions, man. What's it matter anyway? Puttin' that bitch down would be doin' everyone a favor…"
"Jerk." Yang muttered underneath her breath as Pyrrha was the next to speak.
"Doesn't he know now from Matt that Kerrigan and Raynor were once lovers?" She asked as Jaune spoke out.
"I don't think he cares. Or at least what I believed."
"I thought it was just about the money with you, Tychus." Raynor wondered as Tychus continued.
"Nothin' says I can't do my part for humanity and get paid well for my trouble." Obviously Raynor wasn't buying it as summarized in his own tone.
"Right"
It was then that the UNN news network started playing as both men paid attention to it.
This is UNN with Donny Vermillion - Kyla Velassi detained for selling controlled substances - Raynor's Raiders implicated in multiple acts of terrorism - Zerg forces advancing across all fronts - Millions flee -
"Huh, guess no matter where in the universe, there would always be drug smuggling." Roman muttered to himself.
"Zerg forces advancing on all fronts? Oh dear, that's not good." Kali spoke with worry as most of the audience agreed.
"Millions flee? That's going to cause a refugee crisis at this rate." Tai then voiced his thoughts as Summer joined in.
"No doubt it will Tai."
"This is Donny Vermillion, live from UNN. Tonight we're going to discuss the infamous Queen of Blades. Scientists and military insiders have long speculated that the enigmatic alien is, in fact, an infested human." Donny began his casting before Kate took over.
"An infested human?" Ozpin muttered.
"Ozpin?" Glynda then asked her superior with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes." RGQC spoke out. "The Zerg were known to infest humans to help bolster their numbers. Let's just say it's a fate you wouldn't want to experience."
"Though I shouldn't tell them about how the Zerg were trying to get more psionically in tuned humans like Kerrigan. But it failed. Mostly..."
"That's right Donny. Is it possible that the leader of the Zerg has a human heart?" Kate then asked a genuine question before passing it back to Donny.
"Judging from her previous actions… I doubt that." Ironwood muttered out as several of the audience had to reluctantly agree.
"More importantly, Kate -could this mean some kind of terran-zerg alliance is possible?"
"I… doubt that." Robyn then spoke out while RGQC had to cover his mouth to hide grin from the fact that, yes, a Terran-Zerg alliance is possible.
"Donny, there's never been any evidence - at all - to suggest that infested humans retain their free will." Kait then countered
"Sheese that gives me the shivers." Sum shuttered at the thought of losing his free will.
"Yea that would suck." Neptune agreed as pretty much everyone, including Cinder and her gang, wouldn't want to experience losing themselves to the Zerg.
"You make a good point, Kate. The question is then, how do we kill her?" Donny then asks as the camera cuts to Raynor staring at the screen as Kait continues.
"That's one I think we all can agree on. If humanity is to survive, the Queen of Blades needs to be eliminated." And with that, the news network moved on to other matters as Raynor stared at his drink before getting off his seat and walked off as the screen darkened.
"Can they actually save her? Without killing her?" Ruby couldn't help but ask. What she had gone through was horrible and she hoped that Raynor could save her. Everyone else could only look at her with either curiosity, confusion or disagreement to Ruby's statement.
"Save her? Ruby, you do know that the Queen of Blades had probably killed millions, right? Even if they somehow were to save her from the Zerg, everyone would still want her dead for what she had done." Weiss questioned her partner.
"But I believe that she is as a victim as anyone else!" Ruby remained full of confidence in what she had said, though some believed her while others felt that Kerrigan couldn't be saved.
The screen lights up again to show Raynor browsing some upgrades, and like before, now there's a marauder chilling there as he looks around. It seems that Swann has nothing to say as he could be seen fiddling around with his claw arm in the corner.
It was then that the tablet in Pietro's hand glowed with an audible beep. As he took a look at it, Pietro then let out an audible hum as he rubbed his beard. "Interesting…" He muttered.
Pietro?" Ironwood then asked as Pietro then finally responded back.
"It appears that the suits themselves were modified versions used by Firebats. Even so, the troops manning the suits are quite different, instead of having resocialized criminals or psychotic pyromaniacs, at least 47% have never been to jail, and only 23% have ever been accused of murder." Pietro spilled out some details before he gave a pause for everyone to digest the details.
"So at least half of them had never been to jail?" Winter then asked.
"And at least one - fifth have been accused of murder?" Coco then spoke out.
"Well, I suppose it's better than just straight up having resocialized criminals or psychotic pyromaniacs." Mercury muttered out.
It was then that Pietro continued on. "The suit itself is stock with component parts that allow it to manufacture and load hundreds of standard Punisher grenades. So, it can keep firing without restocking for resupplies."
"A suit that automatically makes new ammunition? Sign me up!" Sun yelled out as several people agreed wholeheartedly. Even Summer had to join in with her daughter. That sounds awesome. Just make ammo on the spot!
After purchasing some upgrades, Raynor left the armoury and headed back on the bridge, it was there that Matt had something to say to him.
"Stetmann says he's got the lab up and running. You should go down there and check it out." Matt gave his message to Raynor who responded back.
"Sure thing Matt." With that Raynor was about to leave when Matt spoke again.
"Sir, Stetmann also says that he's on a verge of a breakthrough. You should talk to him."
"Will do." And with that, Raynor left the bridge to visit the Laboratory as the screen goes dark again.
"Oh! The laboratory is ready? I wish to know what they have in store! And a breakthrough? Father, I believe we should pay extra attention." Penny then spoke with the same enthusiasm she always had.
"That we are in agreement Penny. I wonder what they have discovered." Pietro agreed with his daughter as the screen lit up again.
The screen then shows Stetmann tinkering with the console, at the same time, The room itself contains several containment tubes in the corner of the lab. Once contained some sort of bio-material in there while the other had some sort of golden crystal there? In the middle of the room, the artifacts could be seen on display. Floating in the air somehow while occasionally orbing around each other.
"Interesting…" Pietro muttered as he observed the room itself. The rest of the cast were also intrigued by artifacts in the middle of the lab just seemingly floating there.
While that was going on, the door opened to reveal Raynor walking in as Stetmann turned to address the commander.
"Commander! The alien artifact is all secure in the lab. Sir! You know seeing it got me to thinking about my special projects…" Our resident scientist began to ramble on before Raynor stopped him in his tracks.
"Reminds me of Ruby when she starts talking about weapons. She would go on and on until one of us stopped her." Weiss mumbled which Ruby heard.
"Wut? Hey! I'm not that bad, right guys?" Ruby then asked as all her friends kept quiet about it. Let's just say that Ruby felt a tinge of betrayal.
"Boo…" Ruby then pouted as Summer rubbed her hair.
"It's ok dear, I still love you."
"Whoa - slow down, Stetmann. What do you mean 'projects'? You doing some kinda research down here?" Raynor then asked before Stetmann continued.
"Yea, well, not yet, sir. I still need some additional specimens to get things going. Once I get those, we can make some big improvements to our weapon systems and tactics!"
Raynor liked the sound of that as he then asked. "Well, I'm all for that. What do you need?"
"All kinds of things! I've entered the details into our database. If you run into something on a mission that we need, you'll be notified automatically." Stetmann explained.
"Just try to not blow up the ship, okay Stetmann?"
"Should they be worried about that?" Blake then asked.
"I'm sure Mr Raynor here won't that happen dear." Kali then spoke before giving a teasing grin.
"Besides that, care to tell me more about your daughter?" She asked as Blake's face turned red.
"Not now mom!" Blake could swear she could hear Lily laughing somewhere in RGQC's realm.
With that, Stetmann nodded before walking off to attend to some work as Dr Hanson could be seen staring at the artifacts before turning her eyes on Raynor before speaking.
"Oh hey. Ariel is here now. I was wondering where she had gone since the last mission." Velvet pointed out as Neptune then took over.
"I assume that Ariel here would stay with the crew huh RGQC?" He asked as RGQC just gave a smirk before placing his finger on his lips. This got some chuckles among the group.
Looks like it's your turn to get denied Neptune." Yang said as she giggled.
"That Zerg woman seemed to know you. She really rattled you didn't she?"
"Me and her... well, we go back a ways. She was a Ghost, once. Back then we were hooked up with Mengsk and fighting to get rid of the old Confederacy. We made a pretty good team."
"What happened to her?" Ariel decided to indulge in her curiosity and questioned further.
"She was a casualty of war. No offense, Doc, but I really don't like to talk about it." Raynor noted as Ariel understood that Raynor doesn't want to talk about it and relented before assuring him that if he needs help, she's here for him.
"I understand. If you ever change your mind - I'm here."
"Talk about the obvious signs that she had a crush on him." Tai pointed out.
"Tai, May I remind you Tai that you tried all sorts of weird ideas to admit to my sister that you liked her? And that the majority of those blew up in your face spectacularly?" Qrow then chuckled while Tai went a bit red in the face. Raven however, just closed her eyes and gave herself a facepalm. Oh, how Tai acted a fool sometimes in his attempts to court her back in beacon.
Those were the good old days. Before it came crashing down.
Raynor then just nodded before looking directly at the artifact in containment before he chose to change the subject and ask Ariel. "I've been hearing strange stories from the crew of late - unexplained noises, strange visions - voices in the dark. Rumor has it these things are haunted."
Ariel seemed to scoff at such rumours about it. "Superstitious nonsense! These artifacts are completely inert and they're contained down here in the lab. There is some trace radiation, but I don't see how they could affect things elsewhere on the ship!"
"Whoa. She really doesn't like all the superstitious stuff huh?" Qrow then spoke before RGQC took over.
"Well… She is a woman of science whose dedication is to understand instead of making up stuff, so I say it's understandable that such ideas would irritate her I suppose."
"Heaven forbid we run across alien tech that messes with our primitive little monkey brains. Just keep a close eye on 'em, Doc." Raynor made a request before looking at the console and picking an upgrade, at the same time, the camera then moved towards the Zerg specimen in the tank.
"Ugh, that thing is still alive? The hell is that thing anyways?" Weiss then asked as Pietro's tablet let out a beep again.
"What is it this time Pietro?" Winter then as Pietro as he read through its contents.
"Hmm… Two entries had just appeared in it. The first one describes that the Zerg samples that were gathered a while ago, were dead with the inclusion of tissue necrosis. However, now they are alive and there are massive generational changes in each cell. The cells of that thing have evolved more than humans did in 100,000 years in the last hour…" Pietro's voice droned off at the last part of the first entry and rightly so.
"What? How is that possible?" Ironwood was the first to ask.
"Yesh, is that what they mean when they say that the Zerg are masters of adaptation? Because damn that thing's cells are older than us!" Coco gave her response as pretty much everyone agreed. Even Cinder and her gang had to agree. Now… If only there was a way to control them. (Don't Cinder! You will regret it!)
Pietro then began to read the second entry out loud. "It appears that Stetmann had made a rather interesting discovery. It appears that the sample contains every single strain of every known Zerg creature and many other strains that he doesn't recognize. It also appears that he had managed to extract data from an Ultralisk cell, and a spore crawler cell that has data on its instinctive threat-recognition routines. Interesting…"
"Ultralisk? That just screams bad news." Ren then spoke as RGQC agreed.
"Oh, you have no idea, they're really bad news if they show up." It was then that Nora joined in.
"Or a perfect target for Magnhild!"
"Then in that case, you're going to need a bigger hammer." RGQC responded back but it appears that Nora remained confident.
"Then I need to get the BIGGEST hammer then!"
"Nora, don't." Ren then intervened.
It was then that the camera moved on to the second containment tank that has a bit of gold crystals on the bottom of it as Pietro received another beep from his tablet.
"I suppose you got an entry on this crystal?" Robyn then asked as Pietro nodded as Penny gave a curious look at its continents.
"Can I read it out father?" Penny asked as Pietro just smiled at his daughter.
"Sure, thing Penny. Go ahead."
"Thank you, father!" Penny thanked her dad before reading it out for everyone to hear. "It appears that Stetmann had placed a Protoss 'crystal' sample in a saline solution for storage but it's overall density had grown by 533% in the last twelve hours. It also appears that it's gathering energy and raw materials from somewhere."
"Wait, so it's siphoning energy and raw materials by itself? How does that work?" Weiss then asked as this crystal intrigues her the most so far.
"Unknown so far, friend Weiss. But Stetmann believes that it is connecting itself with the ship somehow and tapping into its resources directly." Penny then continued as everyone could only sit there and do their best to process the information gathered so far. At this point they had to agree on one thing.
Protoss tech is so alien to everyone that none of them had an idea how it works overall.
The camera then pulls away from the containment tank to show Raynor choosing his research upgrade before he could be seen walking out of the Laboratory as the screen darkens.
"You know, I wonder what kind of upgrade he got himself?" Jaune then asked.
"Don't worry Jaune, I'm sure we will see it in the next mission. And I bet it's awesome!" Ruby assured his fellow leader.
The screen then lights up again to show Raynor on the Bridge, talking to Matt about seeing Kerrigan again.
"Are you alright, sir? Confronting Kerrigan again after all these years…" Matt asked whether his commander is alright after seeing Kerrigan again.
"We've gotta' stop her Matt... no matter what she's after." Raynor said.
"Well, we gave her a setback today. The artifacts are obviously important to her, I just wish we knew why." Matt agreed with him, though he could only wonder why Kerrigan was after them.
"Yea, good question. It's obvious that that woman really wants those artifacts that Raynor's collecting." Roman then finally spoke, though it was obvious from the audience that no one really appreciates hearing him talk.
"Perhaps those things are more than what they appear to be?" Neo then offered her thoughts on the matter as RGQC thought to himself.
"Well… they ARE more than what they are. Seeing that one of its functions is to revive a dead Xel'naga."
"Sir, what's our next destination?" Matt asked as Raynor activated the console which brings up the map, though it looks like there are no new destinations to visit. Just between Meinhoff and Redstone III.
"Oh, so no new destinations for now?" Ruby pouted as Weiss then added in.
"So, it's either a refugee camp or gathering highly valuable minerals for this creepy guy. What's his name again?"
"If I'm right, his name is Gabriel Tosh." Ren answered Weiss's question.
"Oh! You mean the guy with milk for eyes?" Nora then added in as several members of the audience were either flabbergasted at what Nora had just said, or they were laughing at it.
"We're currently short on funds right now Matt. So set a course to Redstone III first, then we'll immediately head for Meinhoff to help deal with their problems." Raynor gave his orders as Matt nodded.
"Understood sir." Matt replied as the screen went dark.
It then lights up again to show the Hyperion just a distance away from Redstone III and its reddish background. Everyone could clearly have a better look at it and could tell that the planets fractured. Rather large chunks of it could be seen floating much higher than other pieces or are clearly floating a distance away from the planet itself. At the same time. the main system name appeared on screen.
"That's Redstone III? That planet doesn't look stable in the slightest." Fox then spoke as pretty much everyone could agree. Planet is literally in pieces.
Redstone System - 13:23 Shipboard Time

"Redstone. Heck of a place." Raynor's voice could be heard before the scene changed to show Raynor and Matt looking at the console screen as he grumbled out loud as Matt looked at him.
"I ever mention how much I hate volcanic planets?"
"Seeing the state of the planet itself, and the overall temperature of it must be ridiculously high, yes we can tell that you hate volcanic planets." Sun snarked as a couple of the audience chuckled.
The camera then faced the screen as it showed a command centre as well as some SCVs mining golden minerals as Tosh's face appeared on the side of the screen.
Tosh then greeted Raynor and Matt though his audio is slightly distorted for some reason. "Good to see you made it. They call me Tosh. You help me mine the minerals I need and I'll make it worth your while."
"What's the catch?" Raynor then asked as the SCVs could be seen evacuating to higher ground as the Command Centre did the same and took off. At the same time, several small critters could also be seen evacuating the low grounds before reaching the high grounds and burrowing.
"Oh Ohm! Look how fast the lavas rising!" Coco pointed out as Tosh continued.
"Well, this place is a little...unstable. The low ground gets flooded with lava every few minutes." Tosh explained as the low grounds were quickly covered in lava.
"And this occurs every few minutes? Just how unstable this planet is?" Glynda then asked as RGQC answered her question as he looked through his phone.
"Very unstable."
"Of course, that's where the richest mineral nodes are found. But that'll be no problem for a big tough guy like you." Tosh remained confident that Raynor could achieve it as the camera changed to show a Zerg base on the high grounds as Matt reported on it.
"Sir, I'm also picking up Zerg bio-signatures on the surface." Matt gave a pause before he continued.
"We'll need to spend some of what we mine just to defend the operation. The more we spend, the longer this is gonna take."
"So, this task will test Raynor's ability to manage his resources well huh?" Jaune then spoke as he rubbed his chin as RGQC nodded in agreement.
"Yes, but that reminds me, I need to attend to something right now." RGQC said as he stood up from his chair.
"Did something happen?" Ghira then asked with a raised eyebrow.
"You could say that but, don't worry, I'll be back once this viewing is over. If you all have any questions, feel free to ask QAI." RGQC said before walking through a portal as it disappeared.
"Soo… what's so important that RGQC needs to attend it?" Mercury then asked.
[This is classified matters. Let us continue] QAI answered back as the screen resumed.
"Huh, lava and Zerg - two of my favorite things. Let's do this." Raynor sarcastically commented before accepting that challenge and walked off to prepare, at the same time, the screen darkens as Matt continues to stare at the screen.
"So Raynor's task is to gather those golden Minerals in the lowland? What makes them special?" Qrow then asked.
[More details would be revealed in time.] QAI responded back bluntly.
"I assume this is because of spoilers?" Blake then asked.
[Yes.]
"Great, I kind of wish to know more of this Tosh guy. He's suspicious don't ya agree?" Sun then spoke as several heads nod in agreement.
The screen then lights up to show a rather basic Terran base that had a Command centre, several supply deposits as well as a Barrakes. At the same time, SCVs could be seen heading to the lower levels to begin harvesting of golden minerals. Several marines could also be seen watching over the base as well.
At the same time. A tag could be seen appearing on the right side of the screen that shows the amount of minerals that Raynor needs to collect. As of yet, Raynor has 200 out of the 6000 minerals needed to complete the job.
"Jeeze! That's a whole lot of minerals that Raynor needs to collect!" Yang groaned when she saw how much minerals that Raynor had to collect.
"And he still has to deal with the Zerg at the same time." Weiss then stated as Ruby could be heard cheering on.
"I believe that Raynor could do this! He always could!" She cheered on as Neo whispered to her superior.
"I think this Tosh guy has plans if he needs that many minerals."
"Yea, was thinking the same thing Neo. But I suppose we will watch for now and see how it goes."
As the operation had just begun, An SCV could be seen working on a structure as the Barracks could be seen building its own addon as well. It was then that the ground itself began to shake rapidly as Raynor's Adjutant appeared to give a warning.
"Alert. Lava surge imminent. Evacuate low ground immediately." The Adjutant spoke as the several vents on the lower ground began to spew lava out as Raynor then appeared on screen.
"Lava's rising, get those SCVs to high ground right now!" He commanded as all of the SCVs evacuate the lower grounds as it began to flood with lava. At the same time, the building that one of the SCV was building was completed and it reveals itself as a Bunker. But this bunker came with a new attachment on it. This new bunker has a rather large turret on the top of it.
"That turret on the bunker is new, I suppose that's one of the upgrades he got?" Pietro then asked as QAI confirmed him.
[Affirmative. That automated turret on top of the bunker was based on Stetmann's studies on the Spore Crawler. With it, it allows for the addition of additional firepower to manned bunkers and would allow unmanned bunkers to contribute to defending the base.]
"Then what about the other research on the uh, Ultralisk?" Ruby then asked as she began to scribble ideas on an auto gun. At the same time, Winter was doing the same as Penny was recording it as well. Emerald was also writing down some stuff at the request of Cinder, no doubt that they planned to use this information to probably improve the Grimm's defensive capabilities.
[The other research which Raynor could have chosen would improve the bunkers overall. Inspired by the Ultralisk exoskeleton, Hardened carapace is attached to the bunker itself, this dramatically boosts the amount of punishment that the bunker could absorb.] QAI states that those who were interested began to scribble it down or record it.
"So, in this case, Raynor chose for more firepower instead of survivability? I suppose if you kill the opponent fast enough, you won't have to worry about it taking damage." Ironwood observed as Winter continued to scribble it down on a piece of paper at her request.
It wasn't long till the low grounds began to flood with lava as the screen began to turn red due to the low grounds. At the same time, a SCV could be seen working on a new structure as another began to build a refinery on a gas geyser.
It wasn't long till the lava retracted away from the low grounds as Adjutant appeared again to give an alert. "All clear. It is now safe to proceed with mining operations." She said as SCVs could be seen returning to the low grounds to mine. At that point, everyone could see that Raynor mineral count was below the hundreds.
"He's just using all those minerals huh?" Sun muttered as his partner addressed him.
"To be fair on his part, Raynor's most likely securing his base and getting infrastructure up so he could continue mining up those minerals."
"True I suppose…" Sun muttered back.
It was then that Tosh's face appeared as he gave some good news. "I got some friends comin' to help you out - Reapers." He said as four men with rather large jetpacks on their backs appeared out from nowhere before they regrouped on the cliff. Those men wore self-contained bodysuits and polarized plasteel flight goggles. They are armed with dual pistols and all of them have Deuterium-eight demolition charges with them. They also seemed to float above ground due to the jetpacks keeping them just above the ground itself.
"Whoa! Look at those guys! They look awesome!" Ruby was in awe at the sight of those men and rightfully so, they just came out of nowhere and could be seen jumping up ledges with no issue in the slightest.
"Who are those men?" Ozpin asked?
[Those men are called Reapers as Tosh had said, they are fast-moving raiders that can jump up and down cliffs. They are armed with pistols and equipped with D-8 explosive charges.]
"Fascinating… And I assumed it takes training to use one of those suits with no issue?" Ironwood then asked.
[Correct.]
"Does RGQC have those suits in his collection?" Yang then asked.
[Yes. He possesses them as well.]
"Yang… You're not trying that suit." Tai then refused to allow Yang to do it.
"Aww… Please mom?" Yang then turned to Summer who looked thoughtful.
"Perhaps with observation from RGQC. I mean, I do have to admit myself. I do want to try it out." With that, Yang let out a cheer as Tai let out a sigh before Ruby then asked QAI.
"Hey QAI, do you think that we could try it later? I think we could have a race with it!"
"That's a great idea! Ruby! I'll race ya!"
"Nora. That's a bad idea." Ren countered.
"What?! No Renny, that's a great idea!"
…
[Approval from Master granted. Of course, he would be there to make sure that things were running smoothly]
"YAY!" Several of the audience cried out with joy in their voices as the screen resumed.
"Reapers you say? Hell, cowboy, we gotta train more of these guys, they're seriously bad ass!" Swann seemed to agree with the idea as one of the Reapers could be heard speaking.
"The Grim Reaper has arrived. Where did you need us, boss?"
"Oh Ohm. That's just bad." Weiss sighed as Yang and several others let out a chuckle or two.
"Do you mean that he's too 'Grimm' for you?" Yang joked as pretty much no one laughed except for Tai who did.
"I can't believe you've done this to Yang Tai." Summer mumbled as she rubbed her forehead.
"What? Can you blame me, Summer?" Tai responded back.
It was then that Tosh then appeared again with a request of his own. "Some of my boys disappeared in this area. Wanna see if they're still alive." He wondered. As the Reapers at Raynor's base were chatting with some of the marines.
"How ya became a Reaper?" One of the marines present at the base then asked.
"I didn't want to become one." one of the Reapers responded much to the surprise of the audience and the marines guarding the base.
"What? The hell do you mean?" He questioned as he lay his back against the bunker.
"I thought I was signing up to be a repo man. Imagine my surprise." He deadpanned as several of the audiences couldn't help but laugh at how unfortunate he was.
"What's a repo man?" Ruby then asked as her mother answered it.
"They are people who repossess cars should the buyer default on payments, Ruby." Ruby could only nod in response with a 'oh' as the screen resumed.
The reapers were then ordered to head north of the base and they did so with such speed. In fact, they did so with such speed and precision much to the audience's surprise to see them boost up or down ledges at such speeds.
"Fast!" Coco could only mutter as they watched as the reaper's boost passed several Zerglings who unborrowed only to be shot in the face with such accuracy.
"I think they're even faster than me." Ruby gave a pout.
It was that they encountered four more Reapers that jumped down to meet them before one of them jumped up the ledge to encounter some resources to collect. The other's headed west to encounter a Command Centre floating in the air as one of the SCV noticed the Raynor's Reapers and waved at them.
"Tosh sent ya to help? About time! Let's finish up this contract and get the hell off this planet." One of the drivers of the SCV asked before they began to move towards the south and towards the rich mineral field not too far from where they were.
At the same time, Stetmann appeared on screen to make a request. "Ah, sir! Sir! Ah scanners show a large bio-signature close to your position - a Brutalisk I think! If you could kill it that'd get my...err our research off to a flying start!"
"Brutalisk? QAI, what kind of Zerg is that?" Ozpin then asked.
[You wouldn't want to see it first-hand.] QAI responded back ominously.
"It can't be that bad right?" Tai then asked for assurance.
[You will eat your words later.]
"Ok…"
The camera then faces back at Raynor's main base, another Barracks could be seen in the process of being built as well as an additional bunker as well for protection. Though it was obvious that the rich mineral fields in Raynor's base were running out soon and he would have to expand out to search for more.
However, before he could do that, a wave of Zergling attacked his base and like advertised, the turrets on top of the Bunkers assisted in the defence process. It also helped that the reapers were there to assist. But it turns out, that wasn't the only problem. Adjutant then appeared onscreen to give a warning. "Seismic activity is increasing. Caution is advised." It warned as the ground began to shake like once before.
SCVs could be seen getting to high ground like before, Tosh's men, who he had just found a while ago, also evacuated the low grounds as the Command Centre lifted up from the ground and headed to high ground.
"Well, I can see how those thrusters on the Command Centre help it move around. But it's still strange to see it on screen." Kali admitted.
[True, but this helps the Terrans move their bases around or even escape from a failed defence if necessary.]
It wasn't long till the low ground flooded again with lava as Matt appeared on screen to give advice to help his commander. "Just a reminder sir; the more minerals we expend on forces, the longer it's going to take to reach our goal. Try to be economical."
"It appears that Jaune was right. Even Matt recommended him to be economical in this situation." Ironwood hummed as Jaune could be seen blushing slightly.
It wasn't long till the lava retracted back as Adjutant appeared once again to give an alert "All clear. It is now safe to proceed with mining operations." She said as Raynor's man Command Centre lifted off the ground and headed south as Raynor's army headed south to protect the command Centre. Though they encountered more Zergling headed their way but they were dealt with relatively no issue.
"Guess they had to move out to get more of those Minerals since the one back at base had run out.
While all that was happening, SCVs could also be seen moving south towards another rich mineral field as the Command Centre arrived and then landed down. SCVs could then be seen beginning their work again as Raynor's squad which at the time, was composed of several marines, medics, marauders and finally reapers.
Began their push towards a Zerg base to the south and began to clear it of them. Zerglings began to charge towards the front lines only to get gunned down before they could even get close. Reapers began to throw their explosive charges directly at the Zerg structures and blow chunks off of them and send blood all over the place.
Hydralisk were filled in lead as the main Lair of the Zerg were blown up into bits revealing Minerals and gas caches. In fact, the gas that could be collected was covered in some sort of sac, no doubt created by the Zerg themselves to transport Vespene directly to the hatchery.
It was during that time that Tosh appeared on screen once again to offer some help. "Since you're doin' right by me - I'll do right by you. Here's the coordinates of the nearest mineral nodes." He said as the Camera pulled away from Raynor's army and towards the numerous rich mineral fields that Tosh pinged.
"That's a lot of minerals in the area and he still hasn't gathered much of it yet." Neo pointed out as Roman nodded in agreement.
"Yes. it's obvious that each mineral field won't last long."
It was during that time that Raynor's mineral count shot up to 1733 minerals, the screen then panned towards the group carrying the minerals and gas sacs back to the command centre. At the same time, one of the reapers could be seen heading south much and towards where the Brutalisk was located.
"Uh, where's that Reapy going?" Nora then asked as Weiss then mumbled out.
"Reapy?"
"Yeah! Those reaper boys are Reapys! Where is that one going?" Nora then asked.
…
Well… Nora got her answer when the reaper ran straight into a lair that caused pretty much everyone to pale. What was there was a MASSIVE Zerg that had spikes covering its carapace. In fact, it looks like nothing the audience had ever seen before as its legs resemble more like centipedes except with massive spikes instead of legs. It possesses massive claws on both its arms. Pretty much everything about it screams danger.
"What… is that thing?" Emerald was the first to ask. Even Cinder was honestly horrified at the monstrosity seen on screen.
[That is a Brutalisk, a variant strain of the Ultralisk]
"What is he doing in its territory!" Velvet proceeds to yell out with genuine horror, even though all of them had emotion suppressor, it wasn't enough to help them when they saw the Brutalisk first hand.
"They need an army to take that thing out!" Jaune yelled in a panicked tone before Pyrrha assured him.
"I'm.. I'm sure Raynor does have a plan for this… thing."
"Uh commander, what ya want me to do again?" The reaper asked as the Brutalisk let out a loud snarl at the lone reaper that dared enter its lair. There was a period of silence before he let out an audible sigh.
"I'm going Commando!" The Reaper yelled out as he pulled out a pistol and shot the Brutalisk in the face. Though the round just deflected off it and just made it angrier.
To say the least, everyone was utterly confused and horrified at what he had done. And rightfully so. Who would in their right mind shoot that monstrosity in the face!
"What the hell is he thinking?!" Weiss couldn't help herself but screech out in utter confusion and terror at what that reaper had done.
"That's utter insanity!" Winter had to agree with her sister as most others could agree with the Schnee sisters that what the reaper had done was madness.
The Brutalisk let out a roar as it began to chase the Reaper who only continued to insult the monstrosity. "Come and get me, you ugly!" The reaper mocked as he dodged to the side to avoid a spew of acid that came from the Brutalisk itself.
It was then that Adjutant appeared once again with another warning. "Seismic activity is increasing. Caution is advised." She warns as the audience watches as the Reaper lures the Brutalisk into the low grounds. It was then that some of them realized Raynor's intent.
"I see now…" Ozpin muttered with interest as everyone turned their eyes on him.
"Raynor's using that reaper to lure that… Brutalisk straight into the low grounds so the rising lava could kill it for them." Ozpin continued as everyone looked back as the Reaper raced to the other high grounds with the Brutalisk hot on his tracks.
Adjutant then gave another immediate warning as the reaper was running around in circles as the Brutalisk desperately tried to reach the annoyance that was attacking it. "Alert. Lava surge imminent. Evacuate low ground immediately."
As what Raynor had planned, the Brutalisk chased the reaper on the low grounds when suddenly the reaper jumped onto the high grounds with his jetpack as the ground it stood on began to flood with lava. The Brutalisk could only screech in pain as its flesh burned as it crumbled under the heat and desperately flailed around in a desperate attempt to get back to the high ground. To no avail.
"Yea! Burn you horrible thingy!" Nora proceeded to yell out as everyone could only watch as the Brutalisk then slowly became motionless in its lava bath.
"All clear. It is now safe to proceed with mining operations." Adjutant said as the lava retracted, what was left was a severely burned Brutalisk that was obviously not alive anymore. Turns out, while everyone was distracted with that thing, Raynor had managed to get enough minerals to reach the halfway point as that same reaper went into the Brutalisk lair and gathered all the resources he could find before pulling back.
"I scanned for mineral outcrops before we landed. Sending more data to you now." Tosh gave some help before he continued as the screen panned to more Mineral fields that were available.
"Mr Raynor works fast. Don't you agree dear?" Kali then cordially spoke as her dear husband just nodded back before letting out a grunt in response.
"True... and it's only 12 minutes on the clock." Blake added as she nervously looked at her parents. After all, she hadn't seen them in a long time since she left them to join the fang. She had to wonder to herself if they would still accept her back.
"Your men work fast. We've already got half the minerals we need." Tosh complemented at how fast Raynor and his men had gathered as the screen then panned towards the destruction of several Zerg hive clusters as well as Reapers could be seen scouring the map at breakneck speeds for Minerals that could be grabbed.
"Interesting… due to their fast speeds and maneuverability, Reapers make good scouts on the battlefield, or in this case, to gather minerals on the map itself." Pietro hummed to himself as Penny added in some more information.
"And due to their speeds, they can avoid Zerg easily as well as perform hit and run attacks with those explosives they carry!" Penny enthusiastically pointed out as everyone nodded.
Nora was ecstatic, now she needs her personal demolition charges. Everyone else was concerned about Nora's antics, especially Ren who had to prepare himself just in case.
Speaking of explosives, the camera then panned towards some Reapers on the high ground just casually chucking their demolition charges on the Zerg structures as various explosions could be seen before the hatchery exploded revealing some more minerals and gas in Zerg sac. They then swoop up all those resources and pull back.
At that point, Raynor's mineral count shot up and it's now a total of 4000 minerals while his main army was besieging the main Zerg hive cluster in the vicinity. Marauders, Firebats, Medics, Reapers and Marines all pushed straight into the hive cluster and blast as anything that was moving.
"Raynor's almost done here!" Ruby said as cheers could be heard as all of them watched as the army pushed into the Zerg's hive cluster.
Zerg screech in pain as they are either shot, blown to bits or burned to the crisp as they wipe out structure after structure. All of them exploding in a show of gore that stains the suits. Reapers could be seen zipping past groups of Zerg and putting bullet holes in every one of their skulls while Firebats roast any Zerg that get close. It was this time that Raynor's mineral count had reached 5000 minerals as Tosh appeared once again.
"Almost done, Mr. Raynor. Just a few more minerals to go." Tosh stated while everyone could be seen carrying minerals back to the Command centre while others could be seen escorting others or guarding the Command centre. SCVs could also be seen gathering the last few minerals needed to reach their quota.
"Now that I think about it, why does this guy need that many minerals? Is he planning to build an army?" Sun then questioned as pretty much everyone had to agree. There's more to this man than what is being told.
"I think he has big plans, Sun." Neptune admitted.
"I suppose we will see more of him in the future huh?" Yang then asked as QAI then entered into the conversation.
[Correct.]
The tag on the side of the screen finally reached 6000/6000 minerals as the camera then shows one of the Command centres that had a few marines and medics watching over. As that was happening, SCVs began to make their way into the Command Centre before it took off the ground. While that was happening, Raynor's face appeared as he spoke.
"Alright boys, nice work. We got what we came for. Now lets get outta this hellhole!" He said as the ground began to shake as Zerglings could be seen screeching as they charged towards the remaining marines holding the line.
"Wait, they're not leaving them behind, are they?" Ruby then asked fearfully as her mother then pointed out.
"I don't think it's so sweety. Look at the back, there's a dropship coming to pick them up."
"Oh, thank Ohm." Ruby let out a sigh of relief.
"Everyone! On board now! We're leaving!" One of the Marines yelled as the dropship landed just behind them. All of them got on board the dropship as it took off. And just in time as well as the low ground were quickly flooded with lava and roasted all the Zerglings that were after them.
Tosh once again appeared before everyone to give his complement. "Finished already? You really are as good as they say Mr. Raynor. I'm thinking you and I got a lot more business we can be talking about." And with that, the screen darkens for the last time for now.
[And we are done for now, Master's on route to our p-] QAI was giving out an alert when the whole theatre shook as if an earthquake had occurred.
"What the hell?! An earthquake here?!" Qrow asked as he and several others fell off their seats.
"Hang on!" Ozpin yelled out as all did their best to not hurt themselves in the process.
The whole theatre shook for a while before it came to a stop.
"What was that QAI?" Ironwood then asked.
[Looks like another species blew up their galaxy.]
"What." Everyone could only ask that as RGQC appeared through the portal looking quite irritated as he let out an annoyed sigh.
"I'd have hoped that it wouldn't have happened for a while, but… it appears I was wrong."
"RGQC, what did QAI meant that another species blew up their galaxy?" Cinder was the first to ask as RGQC nodded.
"As QAI just said, a galaxy just blew up thanks to its residence. And the side effects of it would affect not only my realm, but others as well. Long story short, my realm is slightly damaged and there's a possibility for more reality breakers to seep into my realm until QAI finds that rift and shuts it down."
"How long has this been going on?" Pietro was then next to ask as everyone could be seen getting back onto their feet.
"Hundreds of thousands before. All of them were the same thing with the same conclusion, another life out there just blew up their entire galaxy."
"Why?" Ruby could only ask as RGQC shrugged.
"Power? Desire to ascend to godhood? All I know is that their stunt disrupts entire dimensions and reality. And more work for me. So, I recommend you all go take a break of something." RGQC waved off before mumbling to himself.
"I hate my fucking job sometimes."

And we are finally done with this chapter and first. I am so sorry for those who waited for so long! And really, I've felt that I delayed this story for quite a while so here we are! A brand-new chapter for all to enjoy! As for the Galaxy blowing up stuff? Well... That's based on one of the Stellaris DLC that allows you to play as the crisis and destroy the galaxy. So have at it.
Besides that, how do you feel about this chapter? Got a part you all liked? Or better, got an interesting proposal for me to think about? Let me know k? Also, HOLY CRAP that Grand Cathay trailer for Warhammer III, they look so cool! Of course, it sucked that it was delayed till early next year but I can wait. No biggy.
