It was night time in Tokyo, the city being illuminated by lights coming from poles and buildings, despite the constant attacks of Yokais, the people there continue to live their lives like usual.

A couple was crossing over a bridge, the woman clinging onto the man especially due to how cold it is.

"I hate the cold, can we hurry?" The woman said.

"Don't worry, we are getting close and once we're home, I'll make you some hot chocolate." The man said with a smile on his face.

"Thanks babe, I love you!" The woman said as she kissed the man's cheek, who kissed her back.

Unbeknownst to them, the couple was being watched by someone, or rather, something.

From the perspective of the creature, its vision appears reddish as it stares at the couple, their appearance then changes to show their inside, skeleton and all, but most importantly, their blood vessels.

The creature then takes flight towards the couple and out of nowhere, it goes for the man, grabbing his face as he falls on the ground. The woman screams in terror as the creature sinks its fangs onto the man's face, drinking his blood.

The woman screams at this, catching the attention of the creature as it stops drinking the man's blood before staring at her.

The creature stares at the woman for a while, looking at her with its bloody red eyes before hissing and attacking her as well, with the last thing being heard is the creature's roar.

The next day arrives, Riku and Mika appear walking home from their respective schools. While Riku was telling about his day at school and what he learned today, Miku was looking at her phone while pretending to pay attention, usually saying "Yes", "Cool" in a blank tone.

"And how was your day Mika?" Riku asks his sister.

"Hm? Oh uh, it was alright I guess." Mika answers her brother before returning her attention to her phone.

"Oh come on! At least tell me something interesting that happened!"

"Well… A boy from my class went to ask this girl he likes out, and he not only got rejected, but found out the girl already has a boyfriend." Mika said before giggling at that, Riku stared at her before chuckling as well.

"I never heard someone getting this humiliated before!" Riku said in a cheerful tone.

"It was hilarious I will admit." Mika said with a smile on her face.

The two then arrive back at their home, Riku being the first one to open the door.

"We're back."

"GET OFF ME STUPID OLD MAN!" They are greeted by the sounds of Hyuuga and Haruki in their usual shenanigans.

Haruki was currently pinning Hyuuga on the floor, with Hyuuga kicking his father in an attempt to escape.

"Take it back, take it back!" Haruki shouted as he endures Hyuuga's kicks.

"Over my dead body!" Hyuuga shouted before elbowing his father on the gut, causing Haruki to let go of Hyuuga, who then turned the tables by pinning him on the floor "Doesn't feel good now huh old man?!"

"... I'll go to my room in case you need me." Mika said, pretending to not acknowledge the fight as she went straight to her room.

"Wait, I'll go too!" Riku said as he did the same to avoid the usual chaos.

"Now look at what you did, you scared the children!" Haruki said.

"Oh look who's talking!" Hyuuga said.

"Hello people of the Yasakani family! Today is a nice day for…" Tsubaki is interrupted by the fight as she just stares at it "Uhhhh, what the hell is going on?"

"Look Hyuuga, your friend has arrived!" Haruki shouted.

"Hey Kusanagi! What are you doing here?!" Hyuuga shouted.

"... I just came here to visit you, is this a bad time?" Tsubaki asks.

"Well….!" Hyuuga said before letting go of Haruki "Not anymore."

"Right…." Tsubaki said.

"So, what brings you here today?" Haruki said as he got up.

"Like I said, I came here for a visit, I won't even ask why you two were fighting."

"This crazy old man got mad because I didn't find a job, he then starts to brag about how cool his job is and all that crap."

"Can't a father be worried about his own son's future?"

"Of course you can, that's your job as a parent!"

"I said I didn't ask and they explained the reason anyway." Tsubaki mutters under her breath in a deadpan tone. "But yeah, besides that, have you seen the news?"

"What do you mean?" Hyuuga asks.

Hyuuga goes to grab the remote control and turns on the TV on the news channel.

"Two people were found lying on the bridge this morning, they have lost some amount of blood and strange marks were found on their faces." The reporter said "It's still unknown the cause of this, but it seems to be happening a lot during the night."

"Wait what?" Hyuuga said in a confused tone.

"Marks on their face?" Haruki asks as he looks at Tsubaki.

"Yeah, and this isn't the first time." Tsubaki said as she pulls her phone and shows some photos of people with strange marks on their faces. "I've found this on the internet, seems like this has been happening for a while."

"Are those fang marks?" Haruki asks and indeed, these marks do look like they were caused by fangs.

"Looks like it." Tsubaki said before putting her phone away "So word of advice, be careful during the night, you wouldn't want to get your blood sucked by…. Whatever the hell this is."

"That is true! I must warn Mika and Riku right now!" Haruki said before sprinting to their rooms.

"You're thinking what I'm thinking?" Hyuuga asks.

"Definitely a Yokai." Tsubaki said "There have been mysterious incidents where people lost their bloods at night, and I bet a Yokai is behind this."

"Great, now we are dealing with a vampire Yokai." Hyuuga said before groaning in annoyance.

"Look, you can complain about it later, right now we have a Yokai to catch."

"I know, I know, so what's the plan?" Hyuuga asks "We'll wait until it's night to keep an eye on this vampire?"

"Pretty much." Tsubaki said while nodding her head.

"Alright, then I'll see you soon." Hyuuga said with a smile on his face.

….

….

Tsubaki has a confused expression as she stares at Hyuuga, who is forcing the smile.

"Why are you still here?" Hyuuga asks.

"What?" Tsubaki said in a confused tone.

"When I said that I'll see you soon, that means you gotta get out of here, like, now." Hyuuga breaks the smile as he points to the door, Tsubaki turning her head around to look at the door.

"How can you be this cruel? You are seriously kicking a guest who just arrived at your house?" Tsubaki said in a very dramatic tone as she falls on her knees and pretends to clean the tears in her eyes. "Oh such a cruel man you are."

"Is she serious right now?" Hyuuga said in his mind while staring at Tsubaki with a blank expression "I am not letting you stay."

"Not even-"

"No." Hyuuga interrupts Tsubaki, who looks at him with annoyed expression before getting up and exiting the house, but not before pulling her eyelid and sticking her tongue out.

"Wow, so mature." Hyuuga said in a deadpan tone.

Tsubaki is walking back home with her hands on her jacket pockets and pouting.

"Stupid Yasakani, couldn't even let me stay for a while there." Tsubaki muttered under her breath as she arrives at her house.

The Kusanagi residence looks like your typical Japanese-style house, big in size, with sliding doors, with most of its material being made of wood with paper on the doors.

Tsubaki enters her home as she removes her boots, then appears wearing different clothes, a white gi and blue hakama pants.

Tsubaki is on her knees with her eyes closed with the lights off, with candles being used to illuminate the room, and in front of her on the tatami appears to be a katana.

As the wind slowly moves the flames of the candles, Tsubaki opens her eyes as she unsheathes her katana and starts performing some Kendo moves.

Very precise movements that have an aura of elegance behind them, each strike releases a small amount of wind that moves the flames, though not strong enough to blow them out.

Tsubaki closes her eyes for a bit before opening them as they briefly glow blue and she performs a spinning slash as she crouches, causing all of the candles to blow out.

She takes a deep breath before wiping some sweat from her forehead and stares at her katana.

"Guess I still have a long way to go huh?" Tsubaki said with a small smile on her face before getting up and putting the katana back on its sheath.

She then puts it on a stand and looks up, in front of her is a large photo showing her parents with a young Tsubaki..

"I'm doing my best so, mom, dad, keep looking out for me." She smiles before bowing and wiping out a tear coming from her right eye.

It's night time, the moon is full today and illuminating the night sky, on top of a building are Hyuuga and Tsubaki, both wearing their Ninja uniforms as the wind blows strong, especially moving the latter's ponytail.

Meanwhile Hyuuga….

"If I knew it was going to be cold today, I would have brought a jacket!" Is rubbing his arms due to how cold it is.

"Oh come on, it's not that cold." Tsubaki said, somehow unbothered by the cold wind.

"Of course it is!" Hyuuga snaps at Tsubaki then points at her "How are you not bothered by this?!"

"What can I say, being born in a clan that manipulates ice has its benefits." Tsubaki said in a prideful tone and smirking underneath her mask. "And besides, you can manipulate flames so you should be fine."

"I hate how right you are." Hyuuga said before doing some hand signs and produces small flames on his hands "Oh yeah, much better. Anyway, when is that blood-sucking freak coming out?"

"We just have to wait until it decides to go feast on some blood." Tsubaki said.

"Great, waiting, my favorite part." Hyuuga said in an annoyed tone.

"Well, since we do have some time." Tsubaki sits on the floor "We could pass the time by talking about stuff you know."

"Like what exactly?" Hyuuga asks.

"Well… Life, you know?" Tsubaki said, trying to initiate the conversation "Things outside of Ninjas and Yokais. While I don't talk much about my personal life, there was this one time where while training, I accidentally froze the floor and everyone had trouble focusing due to the slippery floor." Tsubaki giggles.

"How do you manage to freeze an entire floor?" Hyuuga asks in a confused tone.

"In my defense at the time, I didn't have really good control over my powers, okay?" Tsubaki answers "Besides you probably had a moment of not having control over your power right?"

"Well…. There was this one time where I accidentally, well almost, burned down the entire house." Hyuuga said while scratching his left cheek nervously, Tsubaki staring at him in disbelief.

"What?" Tsubaki said "How the hell did you almost toast your house?!"

"Hey I was a kid alright! I was very stupid and didn't have enough mentality to understand and use my powers!" Hyuuga said.

"And you really improved a lot huh?"

"At least I don't freeze an entire training floor."

"Hey, that was one time alright?!"

"Yeah right." Hyuuga said before sighing.

Tsubaki sighs as well before rubbing the back of her head and thinking of something to change the topic.

"Did you have a good school life?" Tsubaki said awkwardly.

"It was alright I guess, I was mostly a loner you know, prefer to stay alone and didn't interact much. Yet some people didn't get that message and would try and pick a fight with me."

"The fact you got into fights at school is somehow not surprising." Tsubaki said in a blank tone.

"You'd be surprised at the amount of idiots that tried kicking my ass." Hyuuga said "And what about you?"

"Compared to you, I had lots of fun and made many friends, you could say I was one of the popular kids." Tsubaki said in a smug tone and with her finger on her chin as she looked at Hyuuga.

"Well I can see that, you are a social person and very nice compared to me." Hyuuga admits.

"The fact you just admitted it surprises me." Tsubaki said with surprise in her tone.

"I'm self-aware alright, a lot of things have changed ever since my mother died." Hyuuga said that last part in a somber tone.

Tsubaki looks at him with a sad expression, realizing the similarities between them regarding their lives changing after the death of someone close to them.

"Yeah I get you, when my parents died, it felt like a part of my heart was ripped apart, I was young at the time and didn't know how to deal with that grief." Tsubaki said in a somber tone. "The Ninjas treated me as part of the family, and I'm grateful for them. I'll admit, I envy the fact you still have a family you know? I'm an only child and Daichi's family moved years before my parents died, so they didn't have the time to take care of me."

"Kusanagi…." Hyuuga stares at her, being able to understand her a bit more. "While the old man can be a fool sometimes, he did his best to take care of us as an only parent. It wasn't easy for him, but he did his best and I bet mom would be happy."

"I can bet she's definitely happy, she's probably smiling knowing how much you've grown up." Tsubaki said before smiling, Hyuuga smiles as well.

The moment is cut when they hear strange noises and notice a figure flying in the air. Both nod their heads at each other and use their speed to leap between buildings to follow the creature.

The creature locks its eyes onto a man walking alone and swoops towards him.

"Crap!" Hyuuga cursed and the two Ninjas go to try and intercept the Yokai.

The Yokai gets close to the man with its arms extended to grab his face, but is hit by a flying kick and sent tumbling on the ground.

The people start running once they spot the Yokai roaring as it gets up, Hyuuga and Tsubaki landing on the ground in front of the Yokai.

As the dust from the impact starts to disappear, the Yokai's appearance becomes more clear.

To best describe it, it resembles a flying squirrel mixed with a bat, its body is covered in brown and black fur, bat-like wings underneath its arms, very long legs and fangs on its mouth. That 's the Yokai Nobusuma.

"Wha…. Is that a flying squirrel?" Tsubaki asks in a confused tone.

"A flying squirrel vampire, sure why not." Hyuuga said in a sarcastic tone.

The Yokai roars before flapping its arms and charging at the two with the intent of sucking their bloods. The duo manage to roll out of the way as they quickly insert their Drivers and primary Seal Scrolls.

[Hebi!]

[Cho!]

"Henshin!" Both shout at the same time and spin the cornua of their scrolls.

[Henshin no Jutsu!]

[Moeru, Hebi!]

[Hyouketsu, Cho!]

They transform into Kamen Rider Orochi and Tsurugi and summon their respective weapons, with the Hebil Dual Blade in Futaken Mode and Cho Katana in Rifle Mode.

Tsurugi starts shooting at the Nobusuma, the shots miss and the Yokai uses the wind to glide towards the two, using its speed to strike them as sparks fly from their bodies.

"Why you!" Tsurugi shouts as she continues to try and hit the Yokai "Stay still dammit!"

"Leave it to me!" Orochi leaps in the air and grabs the Yokai by its legs "Now Kusanagi!"

"On it!" Tsurugi nods her head and rapid fires energy shots at the Yokai, sparks flying from its body with each hit and it hisses in pain.

"Yeah yeah screw you too!" Orochi shouted and slashes the Yokai with the right blade. Nobusuma scratches Orochi's helmet a few times as sparks fly to try and force him to let go of its legs.

The Yokai flaps its wings and releases a gust of wind that pushes Orochi on the ground, he lands on his back and the Yokai falls on him, sparks fly from the impact and more from the Yokai scratching him.

"Get off of him!" Tsurugi shouts as she shoots at the Yokai, the shot hits its torso and it sets its eyes on Tsurugi.

Nobusuma hisses and glides towards Tsurugi with its mouth open, she puts her rifle in front to block, the Yokai biting its mouth while trying to get close to her.

It manages to scratch her helmet, sparks fly as she hisses from the pain and causes her to lose her balance, the Yokai using that opportunity to latch on her face.

"Kusanagi!" Orochi leaps from the ground towards the Yokai and slashes its back with both blades, the Yokai hissing in pain and letting go of Tsurugi before using the wind to launch itself upwards "Are you alright?"

"Yeah I guess." Tsurugi said. "Yasakani, the Yokai!" Tsurugi points and causes Orochi to turn around, spotting the Yokai trying to get away.

"Oh hell no!" Orochi said as he removes the Hebi Scroll and pulls the Kuwagata Scroll.

The Yokai glides in the air looking for its next target, when suddenly, it hisses in pain and looks behind itself to see Orochi in his Kuwagata form, who had shot the Nobusuma with the Kuwagata Gauntlet in Shoot Mode.

"Get back here!" He shouted before speeding up, changes the gauntlet to Punch Mode and strikes Nobusuma on its face.

Both engage in an aerial battle, the Yokai using its hands to scratch Orochi while he uses the gauntlet to deliver strong blows.

Orochi pulls the Same Scroll and inserts it in the Kuwagata Gauntlet's slot.

[Hissatsu no Jutsu!]

Orochi raises his arm as a large fiery shark fin appears on the gauntlet's pincers and he presses the trigger.

[Same Ichigeki Ken!]

He slices the Yokai with the fin, launching the Yokai straight down with an explosion as it hits the ground.

Orochi goes to pursue it, knowing that it's still alive but when he reaches the ground as the smoke disappears, the Yokai has vanished.

"Dammit it escaped!" Orochi curses before closing the scroll and removing it, canceling the transformation.

"Guess it got some strength left even after that attack." Hyuuga said, groaning in annoyance over letting the Yokai escape.

Hyuuga hears his phone ringing as he picks it up, it's Mika calling him.

"Mika? What does she want?" He questions before answering the call. "Hey Mika, what is it?"

"Hyuuga, oh my god you have to come here!" Mika spoke over the phone in a panic, causing Hyuuga's eyes to widen.

"Hey hey what happened?! Why are you freaking out?" Hyuuga asks with concern in his voice.

"I-It's Riku…. He was attacked by that creature." Hearing this causes shock to appear in Hyuuga's face, almost dropping his phone in the process "Hyuuga?"

"Tell me where you are, now!" Hyuuga said with more concern in his voice.

After Mika told him the location, Hyuuga rushes to find them, not caring about anything else except for his little brother. He has also change back to his casual clothes to not draw attention.

He finds the two in front of a store, some people are there as they stare at the situation, Hyuuga pushing his way before stopping, his eyes widening and his mouth trembling.

What Mika said it's true, Riku was attacked by the Yokai, bite marks on his left cheek and some blood leaking from them.

"Riku look, Hyuuga is here!" Mika shouts as Riku weakly moves his eyes to look at Hyuuga.

"Big… Bro…" Riku tried to speak, but was very weak after being attacked.

"Riku!" Hyuuga shouted before falling on his knees to get near his siblings "Don't worry little bro, we are gonna get you some help."

"Thanks big bro…. You're…. You're the best." Riku said before his eyes shut and he falls unconscious.

"Riku? Riku!" Hyuuga desperately tried to wake his brother up "Riku wake up!"

Tsubaki, who has also changed back to her casual clothes, arrives and witnesses the situation, putting her hands on her mouth in shock as Hyuuga turns to see her.

"Yasakani…." Tsubaki mutters under her mouth.

"Call an ambulance, now!" Hyuuga shouts.

"R-Right!" Tsubaki said as she pulls her phone and dials the number to call an ambulance.

Some time later at the hospital, Riku is put in a room with other patients that were attacked by the Yokai like him.

Hyuuga, Mika and Tsubaki are sitting outside of the room, the two Yasakani siblings reacting differently to Riku's state, Mika looks like she's praying with her eyes closed, meanwhile Hyuuga is clenching his fists in anger and with anger in his face.

The three hear someone running and it's revealed to be Haruki.

"Is it true what happened to Riku?!" Haruki said, concerned and desperate after hearing what happened to his youngest son. Mika nods her head and Haruki rushes to the room, staring in shock at the patients before seeing his son "No…. Riku my boy!" Haruki said before falling on his knees, sobbing as he holds Riku's hand with Mika going to comfort him.

Tsubaki can feel the pain the family is going through, trying to maintain her composure as she grips her right arm.

Hyuuga, on the other hand….

"Dammit!" He punches the wall while shouting with genuine anger in his voice "Dammit, dammit, dammit!" He continued to punch the wall, losing control over his emotions over what happened to his little brother.

"That's enough!" Tsubaki said as she grabs Hyuuga's arm before he could punch the wall again, noticing that his fist is injured and bleeding from punching it "Punching the wall won't solve anything."

"Then what the hell do you think will solve it?!" Hyuuga said in an aggressive tone, surprising Tsubaki letting go of his arm "My little brother was attacked by that Yokai, alongside many people before! I don't know if he even has a chance of surviving this or not and I don't wanna lose another family member!" Hyuuga lashes out on Tsubaki with even more aggression in his voice.

"Yasakani…." She said with shock in her voice, flinching a bit due to never seeing Hyuuga angry like that.

Hyuuga then stares at Tsubaki, realizing what he's doing before backing down.

"S-Sorry, I didn't mean to lash out at you." Hyuuga said before rubbing his hair with his hands "I just lose my cool whenever something happens to my family! I don't wanna lose them, I don't wanna lose Riku."

"... You care a lot for them don't you?" Tsubaki said as she puts her hand on Hyuuga's shoulder, who nods at her.

"Just thinking about what could happen to any of them makes my blood boil." Hyuuga said, still angry but with more composure in his voice. "That Yokai is gonna pay, it's so gonna pay!"

"I understand how you feel, but don't let your emotions get the better of you." Tsubaki said as Hyuuga stares at her "If you get blinded by rage, there's the possibility of you dying there."

Hearing this causes Hyuuga to clench his fist in anger as he looks at the ground. He knows Tsubaki is right, but he still has a hard time controlling his anger. He takes a deep breath to try and calm himself down, though Tsubaki could see he's still shaking in anger.

"In any case, you now know what we must do." Tsubaki said as she got up "We have to find the Yokai and fast, otherwise your little brother and many others will die."

"Something tells me that this isn't just any blood sucking bite, whatever it is, it's not good for humans." Hyuuga said in a more serious tone, Tsubaki nodding his head "And I don't wanna find out what will happen, we are taking this bastard down, now!"

"Then let's hurry, I have a bad feeling this will only get worse." Tsubaki said.

And indeed, she was right. Many more people are shown with fang marks on their faces, the Nobusuma Yokai has sucked their blood, and speaking of the devil.

The Yokai is holding a man while sinking its fangs on his face, sucking his blood before dropping him on the ground and wiping some blood that was on its mouth.

Nobusuma then hears some sounds coming from behind and turns around to see Hyuuga and Tsubaki approaching them.

Hyuuga is breathing heavily, fists clenched and anger visible on his face.

"You made a grave mistake Yokai, my brother can die because of you. For that…." Hyuuga said as he and Tsubaki insert their Drivers alongside the Scrolls.

[Hebi!]

[Cho!]

"You will pay! Henshin!" The duo spin the cornua and their scrolls open.

[Henshin no Jutsu]

The serpent wraps itself around Hyuuga's body and the butterfly closes its wings in front of Tsubaki as it freezes.

[Moeru, Hebi!]

Hyuuga swings his arm, causing the flames to disappear and revealing Orochi.

[Hyouketsu, Cho!]

The ice around Tsubaki shatters as the wings shrink in size and revealing Tsurugi.

The wind blows as the fighters stare at each other, waiting for the next movement.

"Orochi…. Has arrived."

"Tsurugi…. Here I come."

The Nobusuma stares at the two Riders with the desire to drink their blood patiently waiting for one of them to do the next move.

Despite what Tsubaki told him earlier, just the mere sight of the Yokai causes anger to built up inside Orochi and he's the first one to charge.

"Yasakani!" Tsurugi said as she tries to stop Orochi from recklessly throwing himself in battle but to no avail.

Orochi throws punches at the Yokai, who is shown dodging them with ease due to the Rider being consumed by his anger.

"Stay still dammit!" Orochi shouts as he ignites his fist and goes for another punch, though the Yokai leaps to dodge the attack and scratches Orochi with its feet, sparks flying from the impact as Orochi is sent away.

Tsurugi uses the opportunity of distraction to deliver a precise chop at the Yokai, sparks fly from its body as it hisses in pain. She then follows-up with precise punches and kicks, the Yokai manages to get some hits by tackling Tsurugi before scratching her with its hands.

"Looks like it became stronger by drinking a lot of blood." Tsurugi said.

As she prepares her next move, she's suddenly pushed away by Orochi, who grabs the Yokai by its wing and starts punching it several times.

"You like that don't you? You like that don't you?!" Orochi shouts as he continues to punch the Yokai, until it kicks the Rider away, with Tsurugi quickly grabbing him.

"Hey calm down, what did I just say before? Don't let your anger-"

"Shut up!" She's interrupted by Orochi pushing her away and summons the Hebi Dual Blade, swinging it at the Yokai while screaming in anger, the Yokai hissing in pain from each hit "It's because of this thing that Riku is like that, how am I supposed to stay calm?!" He shouts in anger as his strikes become more forceful, with one in particular giving the Yokai a chance to dodge as it flips its wings, releasing a powerful gust of wind that causes sparks to appear everywhere around Orochi's body and he's sent away.

The Yokai roars as it approaches Orochi, only to be stopped by Tsurugi, who performs a quick slash with her Cho Katana on the Yokai, it hisses in pain before staring at her with anger in its eyes.

"You are in no emotional condition to fight, leave it to me." Tsurugi said.

"What?! No way in hell I'm letting you order me around!" Orochi said as he got up.

"Sorry, but this time, you will have to obey." Tsurugi said before stabbing the ground with her katana, his legs and arms are frozen.

"W-Wha the?!" Orochi said as he tried to break the ice and even melt it, to no avail.

"This is a special type of ice designed to resist being broken or even melt." Tsurugi said before taking a fighting stance"I'm sorry Yasakani, but until you cool down, I'm not letting you fight."

The Yokai hisses as it tries to fly away to escape, Tsurugi goes after it, meanwhile Orochi can't do nothing but simply scream in anger.

The Yokai uses the wind current to glide on the air as it tries to find another prey, when suddenly, sparks fly from its back as it crashes on the ground.

The culprit behind this is Tsurugi, who lands on the ground and charges to attack the Yokai, who gets up and hisses at the Rider before charging at her.

While sharing the same anger as Orochi, Tsurugi manages to maintain her composure and suppress her anger, dodging the Yokai's attack and slashing it as it passes by.

The Yokai releases a gust of wind by flapping its wings to push Tsurugi away, but the Rider plants her sword on the ground, holding tight as the wind tries to push her.

The wind suddenly stops as the Yokai uses this opportunity to strike Tsurugi, scratching her with its claws as sparks fly from the impact. She screams in pain as she's hit once again but manages to counter with a precise slash as the Yokai hisses in pain.

Tsurugi closes and removes the Cho Scroll, then pulls the Hakucho Scroll, presses its button and inserts it on the Driver.

[Hakucho!]

She spins the cornua of the Scroll and it opens, changing to her Hakucho form.

[Henshin no Jutsu! Tenku no Utsukushi-ya, Hakucho!]

Tsurugi leaps forward and delivers precise palm thrusts on the Yokai, it counters with a scratch though she blocks with her arms, but is pushed away due to the strength of the Yokai after drinking all of that blood.

Using this moment, she performs some hand signs.

"Ice Ninpo: Feather Shuriken!" Tsurugi's wings glow in energy and she swings her arm forward, launching feather-shaped shurikens at the Yokai, who is hit by a few of them and she follows-up by leaping from the ground forward and grabs the Yokai, flying high in the air before tossing them upwards, flying above it as her right leg glows in energy and she delivers a bicycle kick, launching the Yokai straight down and it crashes on the ground.

Back to Orochi, he is still trying to freeze himself from the ice, though to no avail.

"I can't just stay here and let Kusanagi defeat that thing." Orochi said as flames appear on his body "It hurt so many people…." The flames become more intense "It even hurt my little brother….!" His voice becomes angrier and aggressive "I'll make it pay…. I'LL MAKE IT PAY!" Orochi's anger builds up and he screams, a scream so loud his whole body is surrounded by flames that melt the ice and the eyes in his visor glow.

Tsurugi continues her battle against the Yokai, managing to score more hits and performs a palm strike that knocks the Yokai away.

"Now it's time to finish this." Tsurugi said as she prepares to spin the cornua of her Scroll.

[Hebi! Hissatsu no Jutsu!]

That's when she hears the announcement despite not coming from her Driver.

She then looks behind her and sees where the sound came from, Orochi, who is in the air and a ring of 9 magatamas in front of him.

"Yasakani!" Tsurugi shouts in disbelief.

"Super Fire Ninpo!" Orochi shouts in a very angry tone and passes through the magatama ring, his body surrounded in flames and he performs a fiery flying kick towards the Yokai "Blazing Serpent's Bite!" Orochi flies at an incredible speed and hits the Yokai, who was trying to escape but was a few seconds too late "Burn! Burn! BURN!" Orochi shouts as he yells even louder, a large serpent appears and it "Bites" the Yokai as an explosion occur, this one larger than normal, causing Tsurugi to cover her visor and Orochi lands beside her.

"How the hell did you break free from that ice?!" Tsurugi asks Orochi.

"That doesn't matter right now, what matters is that the Yokai is history!" Orochi shouts while breathing heavily.

However, both noticed something wasn't right. Despite the Yokai being hit by Orochi's empowered Rider Kick, its soul didn't appear nor did it implode like most Yokais when they are defeated by a Rider.

The answer comes as the flames of the explosion disappear, revealing the Nobusuma Yokai on the ground and on its knees.

"What the, how is it still alive?!" Orochi shouted in anger and before he could do anything, Tsurugi puts her arm in front to stop him.

"Wait, something is not right." Tsurugi said as she points to the Yokai, and indeed, she was.

The Yokai starts to screech as purple cracks appear around its body, its eyes glowing menacingly and it roars to the skies before its body bursts in purple light.

The duo cover their eyes from the intense light, and as it disappears, something else appears in its place.

Still covered in the purple light, a humanoid silhouette appears, its appearance resembles less of a flying squirrel and more of a simian-looking thing.

"What the?" Tsurugi said as she's still covering her eyes.

"Hey, what's going on?!" Orochi asks as he stares at the creature in front of him.

From a distance, Gashadokuro appears watching the chaos in his human form and smiles.

"Oh now that's interesting." He said.

"It seems that Nobusuma has evolved." The mysterious Ninja figure appears behind Gashadokuro.

"A Yokai evolving huh? Now that's something you don't see every day." Gashadokuro said with excitement in his tone "Don't you wanna join the party?"

"Not yet, it's too early for that, besides…" The figure pulls a mysterious Scroll "It's still incomplete, once I'm given the power, that's when I'll show myself." The figure said as he chuckles evilly.

"You do you man, I can tell that things will get more excited from here onwards." Gashadokuro said as he laughed.
