Chapter Five: Saiyans Arrive
"Oh, No. Oh, No!." King Kai spoke with uneasiness and have a look of fear on his face.
With so much noise it caused John and Goku to get out of the hot tub which was part of relaxing their muscles technique and wrapped their lower half before running over to their master.
"King Kai?. What is the matter?." John asked with concern in his voice and on his face.
"Yeah, King Kai, you are acting as if something terrible is going to happen soon," said Goku, not knowing that he is right about the situation.
King Kai looked at John and Goku with overwhelmed worry. He can not find the right way to say this but he has to inform them of the danger.
"Boys, I hope you remember everything that I have taught you and be willing to use them with zero hesitation." King Kai said seeing the two look confused by this. "The Saiyans are arriving sooner than we have expected. They are in earth's solar system and will be arriving on earth in the next twelve hours."
"W...What?!." John got super serious when hearing this.
"N...No way!. That can not be right!." said a disbelieving Goku.
"Yes, way." King Kai looked to the side. "It would seem that Nappa and Turles space pods are equipped with shortcut travel."
"Damn it!." John managed to get his mind at ease and think right. "We need to tell Bulma and the others. They need to hold up just enough for me and Goku to arrive."
"Yeah, but how?." questioned Goku.
"Simple. Just lay your hand on one of my shoulders and talk through my long-distancing communication biological technique," said King Kai, adjusting his antennas to get a single to where Bulma and the others are.
John approached King Kai and placed his hand on King Kai's left shoulder. Cooking down, John spoke nice and well.
"Bulma?."
On earth sitting down enjoying their lunch, Bulma, Chi Chi, Gohan, and even Piccolo stopped their enjoyment when hearing a suddenly echoed voice of a familiar man. This made Bulma's heart jump with happiness.
"John?. Is that you?!." Bulma got up from the ground with excitement on her face.
"Yes, baby, it is me." John happily smiled. "I am so happy to hear you, my queen."
"John where is my Goku?. Is he with you?." Chi Chi got up as well.
"Yes, he is with me. Listen, I did not finally call you guys to say hi. We have bad news." John seriously spoke.
Gohan looked concerned. "Uncle, what is the bad news?."
"Do not know how to say this nicely but, Nappa and Turles are arriving on earth in the next twelve hours," said John.
"What?!." Bulma, Chi Chi, Gohan, and Piccolo all said in complete shock.
"I thought we have a good remaining time to be ready?!." said Piccolo, not liking the conversation.
"So did I, Piccolo. But King Kai checked in and see that those bastards have advanced pods that got them into our solar system faster than expected. You and the others need to get together and be waiting for them to arrive. King Kai says they will be landing in the desert wastelands." informed John.
Bulma got serious as she balled her fist along having a determined facial expression. "Will be waiting for them. John, you and Goku need to get your asses over here as fast as possible."
"We will baby. I can not say we will get there asap. Just hold on tight and survive long enough. Me and Goku are going right now." John let go of King Kai's shoulder. "Let's get dressed, Goku."
"Right!." said Goku.
Bulma looked at Piccolo. "Do you know exactly where the desert wasteland is located?."
"Yes, I do." Piccolo nodded and float into the air. "Follow me."
Bulma grabbed the scouter before putting it on her face. Then she joined ChiChi and Gohan in the air and followed the Namek. As for John and Goku, they put their clothes back on and flew off of King Kai's planet and fly down on Sankeway. Right before King Kai informed Kami of the information and lay it to Krillin and the others. John and Goku flew hard on the Snakeway with max speed as they need to get back to earth and end the two saiyans.
They were not going to try and convince Turles and Nappa to turn another leaf. No. No, that reality of it all is nothing but damn fantasy. John and Goku are the only blood saiyans who want to be none bloodthirsty killing craving heartless saiyans. As a matter of fact, John hated being a saiyan since he was forced as a child to take innocent lives from planet to planet for the ruthless evil careless tyrant empire of the universe. The man who is solely and personally responsible for destroying his race and original home planet. John knew deep down all these years ago that his path and Frieza's will one day cross. There were problems with that. Many problems that he does not want to think about it.
"One small step at a time, John. One small step at a time." John told himself this when flying hard.
Meanwhile, in the coming hours, the saiyans whose name is Nappa and Turles were entering the earth's atmosphere with such speed from their pods and crashes hard with impact. Turles and Nappa exited their pods and had a look around while floating in the air.
"Hehehe, well, Nappa, we are finally here," Turles commented when eyeing the land.
Nappa chuckled. "I'm just looking forward to having a fight with Kakarot and our disgraced prince of ours."
Turles evilly chuckled before looking at his associate. "While you go have a warm-up exercise, I will be looking for a good land to plant the seeds of the Tree of Might. The healthier and richer the soil is the more powerful the fruits are."
"Love the plan. See you back here." Nappa activated his scouter and followed the multiple energy signatures.
"Agree." Turles powered up and flew out into the sky.
Before Turles can do his quick farming he then flew down to the clay dirt ground and poked a couple of holes. Then he pulled out a small bag of Sabiman seeds.
"Need security to guard the pods," Turles told himself this before covering the holes up.
After Turles temporarily left the area like Nappa to go plant the seeds of the Tree of Might, Bulma and her team caught up with Krillin and the others in the air as they were all heading to the power source that they were sensing. The power felt not even close to the saiyans but they just could not avoid the investigation. They dropped down to the spot where the power is located. As they approached the area with their guard up and confidence as they were ready to take on the first-round challenge of protecting the earth. However, the group did not expect to see these increased numbered multi-color mini aliens.
"The hell?!. What the fuck are these guys?!." Yamcha looked at the things uneasily.
Tien got into his stance. "Do not know. But they are looking to give us the jump."
Krillin eyed the things as if they were getting closer. "Man, we were not prepared for this."
Piccolo removed his gear and charged forward. "Do not hesitate!."
The creatures did not hesitate as well when they flew rush at all of them.
"Come on you pricks!." Bulma motioned a few of them as she jumped in the air and made violent physical contact.
Everyone got their share of these impressively strong and dangerous creatures. Bulma took her chance against the five groups of things as she blocked a fast hit by the one in front of her and then kicked the one behind her. She saw the other three zooming in on her all at once before she charged her ki and did her husband's signature move.
"Galick Gun!. Ha!." Bulma fired at the three and reduced them into a crispt.
"Kamehameha ha!!!!." Chi Chi shoots at her opponents and then gets blindsided by an orange one. "Shit!."
Piccolo teamed with Gohan after seeing he is having difficulties with these things as he managed to rip one of their limbs off. Gohan did his punches and blat combos on a blue creature and back-hit a green one from behind that was trying to jump him. Krillin managed to keep his fair share at bay while getting beaten up in the process. Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu worked as a trio in taking down the remaining creatures. They backed each other all bloody, bruised, and clothes torn as their fair opponents were using their numbers game to their advantage.
"Shit they just keep coming," commented Yamcha, with one eye closed.
Tien had the same facial feature as he eyed those things who were cocky and snickering. "I...I do not know how long we can keep this up for long. Let alone if we have any energy or health to fight those two Saiyans."
Chiaotzu looked to his right to see who is standing at a fair distance as he gasped in horror shock. "T...They...They are watching us as we speak without any of us knowing!."
After saying that out loud, Bulma looked down to see two armored people at a fair distance watching their fight as if they were freaking entertaining them. Seeing that she killed her share of opponents, Bulma flew down with a face of seriousness and confidence as she approached the two smirking saiyans. Bulma stopped at six feet before looking at the two full-blooded saiyans. Nappa and Turles looked at Bulma with evil looks.
"Nappa and Turles, I presume." Bulma eyed the two saiyan men.
Turles smirked. "In the flesh. And who is asking, earthling?."
Bulma put her hands on her hips and looked at the two boldly. "My name is Bulma. I'm John's wife. Your queen of the saiyans."
"No way." Nappa turned to Turles. "This is the woman who we overheard about the dragon balls."
"Indeed, Nappa." Turles looked at Bulma with a thought that came to his mind. "And since you say that you are the queen of our dead race, I am assuming that your mate, John must be our good old Prince Kiren. It sure is a damn shame that he mated and gave the royal title to a none saiyan woman. Let alone an earthling. Damn, Kiren is truly a disgrace to the whole saiyan race and the royal saiyan crown. His mother and father and his ancestors are rolling in their damn graves because of this."
Bulma got enraged by this. "First of all, fuck the both of you!. Secondly, my king did not shame his race when laying with me. John is more of a saiyan than you two assholes put together!. And he is more of a man than his own father!."
"Hey, now, I used to care for the prince when he was little." Nappa dropped his smirk. "He is a true disgrace. He questions taking the lives of innocent people let alone risking our lives by helping some of the remaining survivors to escape their fate. Hell, the weak link even embarrassed his own mother and father in trying to be friends with one of the victims his age and used his little small authority and put them under his protection."
"Pfft, now after hearing that I really want to beat Kiren's soft ass to a pulp. Speaking of Kiren." Turles approached Bulma.
Bulma got into her fight stance ready to throw her hands.
"Where is Kiren?. Much less where is Kakarot?." Turles eyed the woman.
"Oh, they are coming, Turles. Do not worry you two. Once they get here they are going to kick your motherfucking asses. But, I am strongly looking forward to seeing my man kill your asses. You guys are not going to get the damn dragon balls. That is a promise." Bulma gave them a heads-up.
In return, Turles pulled a face cheat shot at Bulma by slapping her square in the left side of her face. So strong that it made the woman fly out to the side and slid into the ground.
"Do not fucking try us you earth bitch!." Turles warned.
"Then try me then you saiyan bitch!." Chi Chi charged her ki. "Super-Kamehameha!."
This caught Turles off guard as he put his armored arms up and shielded himself. The blast did smoke damage to Turtle's armor while pushing him back a bit. He put his arms down before examining the scars and scratches on his armor and cuts on his skin.
"Nice move bitch. But you were not strong enough in your ki to land heavy blows on me," said Turles, cracking his knuckles. "Now, time to beat your sorry ass."
Chi Chi along with Krillin stood side by side and got into their fighting stance. Meanwhile, Piccolo killed the last of those things before focusing his sights on Nappa with Gohan, Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu. Nappa approached his breathing room as he walked up to the group with an evil grin. Back in Otherworld fly racing down to reach the front of Snakeway, John, and Goku pushed hard in fly speed as they needed to get out of Otherworld and reach back home before anyone lose their lives against Nappa and Turles.
"John before we reach the fight site we need to go pick us up a bag of senzu beans," said Goku.
"That sounds perfect, baby bro. Knowing how beat up our wives and friends are currently in we need a good handful. Damn, I hope Piccolo survives long enough that when we get there. Damn, I would hate to fall on plan B." said John, having a look of uncertainty.
Goku looked at John with seriousness. "Either way big bro we will have to go to Plan B. And you know why."
"I know. I know." John had the constant reminder of a certain heartless tyrant of the universe. "Ah, Super Saiyan God, help us all."
John powered a bit more into his flying speed along with Goku. The two saiyan brothers reached the front of Snakeway and see a waiting Kami pacing back and forth. The two stopped in mid-air and landed on the ground.
"Finally you two have made it!. I waited for five hours. Come on let us go!." Kami placed both hands on the two and teleported.
Once they were teleported back to earth and on the Lookout, John and Goku quickly flew to Korin and Yajirobe's place. They requested the two for a handful bag of senzu beans. Korin went to see if he had any beans available to consume while he grabbed a bag to put them in. After tieing the small bag and handing it to John, the two flew right out of sight and made a quick route to where the power is coming from. Back in the must-win, battle at the Wasteland, Bulma, and the crew were not doing so hot the last five hours.
In the past five hours, they unfortunately sadly lost Tien, Yamcha, and Chiaotzu in a fight against the two evil wild saiyans. The first was Yamcha who somehow got blindsided by what they were told that those things were called Saibaman had jumped on his back and detonated itself and killed the poor man. Then came Chiaotzu who thought that their situation is beyond winning on their playing field while fighting Nappa head-on and did what came to mind. He grabs hold of Nappa's back which to the Saiyan's dislike when trying to shake him off and even slams his back up against a short mountain. Then with sad goodbye, Chiaotzu committed the selfless act of blowing himself in hopes of taking Nappa with him.
Unfortunately, his efforts were in vain when they found that Nappa survived the explosion with his armor in ruins. In a sudden emotional state, Tien charged at Nappa head-on with nothing to lose and tried to avenge his best friend but was not meant to be. Nappa created an energy saw disc and threw it hard with a clear shot of Tien's right arm and cut it clean off to man's pain. With the help of bleeding out and being blasted multiple times, Tien died right on the ground to everyone's horror and to the Saiyan's proud performance. Which currently leaves Bulma, Piccolo, Chi Chi, Gohan, and Krillin left to face the fearsome saiyans of Nappa and Turles.
Turles fight a little bit at the start of the battle but he stopped to let Nappa have all the kills while saving his energy and strength for the real true fight with Kiren who based on the radio chat from Radtiz scouter and Bulma's information is now called John. Before reaching and arriving on earth, Nappa agreed to take on Kakarot and let Turles go toe to toe with their disgraced excuse of a prince of the saiyans. It is a real treat for the two on the thought of fighting earth saiyans for a one-time only other than sparring with each other. Yes, sir, both the two are determined to kill John and Goku, and find and wish upon the dragon balls for immortality. And it starts off with them killing their wives, Kakarot's son, and best friend.
"We...have...got...to...keep...holding...up. Until...John...and...Goku...gets...here." Piccolo through his collective breathing as he is all torn up with tons of cuts, wounds, broken ribs, and sight unbalance.
"Easy saying it but not so easy in doing it," said Krillin.
"Follow my lead." Bulma wiped off the dripped blood from the bottom of her lip.
Chi Chi jumped right behind Bulma in attacking Nappa as the two used their signature duo's game on the saiyan. Nappa blocked every kick and punch that those two were throwing at them with ease. Turles can see that Bulma and Chi Chi were too fatigued and injured as he assumed that this is their real fight since Radtiz was the weakest saiyan amongst them. Turles knows one thing is for sure is that the two earth woman have a lot of female saiyan spirits within them.
"Alright, enough with this bullshit!." Nappa used energy force to push Bulma and Chi Chi off of him.
When kicking them off balance the saiyan heavily punched every inch of their bodies making the two scream in pain. This angered Gohan so much that the boy lean his arm back and charged his ki. Turles scouter was picking up a big spiked power level. Coming from the boy himself!.
"N...Nappa!. The hybrid saiyan has huge than we expected!." Turles yelled in concern.
"What?!." Nappa threw an unconscious Bulma and Chi Chi to the side and see Gohan charged up.
"Take this, you, big bully!. Ha!." Gohan unleashed the blast right at Nappa.
Nappa is stunned by this as he had no idea what to do as the blast is coming at high speed. Unfortunately, Gohan was so angry at what Nappa did to his mom and aunt that he accidentally curved the blast and had it made contact to a nearby mountain. The mountain was reduced into rubble before Turles calmed down and laughed it off from seeing that.
"Oh, bravo little one. It turns out that huge power spike from you was just from your ki energy. The sad part about it on your end is that would have killed Nappa if you did not curve it.
"Grrrr, stupid saiyan hybrid disgrace!." Nappa powered the ki in his hand before throwing a wave at the boy. "I will remove you from this universe!."
"Gohan look out!." Krillin yelled and was too much in pain to move.
Gohan was too stuck to do anything when seeing the huge heading towards him. Suddenly, Piccolo quickly got in front of Gohan with his arms stretched out before looking down at Gohan with a sad smile.
"Continue the fight and journey without me, kid," said Piccolo, before his body made contact with the blast and screamed in agony.
"No, Piccolo!!!!!!." cried a teary Gohan.
Piccolo got burnt to death as he lay flat on his stomach and died. Gohan was in full tears when seeing his mentor give his own life for his. Krillin was feeling the same as hope was not in the cards for them.
Nappa chuckled." Well, unfortunately, we killed the only Namek that is tied to the dragon balls."
Turles grinned evilly. "But there is always Planet Namek. Finish them off."
"With pleas..." Nappa stopped from making the next move attempt when seeing two new individuals fly down with seriousness and determination.
Krillin felt super relieved when seeing them." John!. Goku!."
Gohan is the most happiest. "Uncle!. Daddy!."
Nappa and Turles looked at the two and know they were just like them. Saiyans. The one that looks exactly like him and the other is none other than the now-claimed king of the saiyans.
"So you two have finally shown up." Turles got happy when eyeing the two. "Now the real battle can begin. Kiren. Kakarot."
"This ends now." said Kiren, very angered at what he sees.
"You two are going to pay for what you did to our friends, my son, and to our wives." Goku angrily said.
