Chapter Seven: Hidden Secret Reaveled
"N...N...No...No...Way!." Goku looked at what his own eyes is showing him in horror and shock.
John had a look of anger and distaste at the situation. "Shit. Double shit."
Turles and Nappa who were in their great ape transformation were chuckling and looking down at their disgraceful prince and Goku. The two savage saiyan warriors knew they have the upper hand against the two as their people's infamous transformation are the heart and power of the saiyans. Yes, Turles and Nappa will seruly enjoy the second round against John and Goku, now that the tables have turned and the odds were back in their favor.
"Oh, what is the matter you two?." Turles spoke in his ape voice. "Do not tell us that you two are starting to bitch out on us?. The battle has just getting really fun."
Nappa chuckled. "Indeed. You boys are in for a fight of your lives. Hehehe, that is if you survive this fight. In which in reality. THE TWO OF YOU WILL NOT SURVIVE!."
With no warning or a heads-up, Nappa quick to strike as he was seconds away of throwing a giant Oozaru punch towards John and Goku.
"Goku jump away!." John quickly jumped out the way.
"Not so fast, Kiren!." Turles immediately slammed John with his backhand.
Making John flew right into a mountain on his left side of his body. Goku quickly get out from Nappa's fist before flying back away from being reached. John managed to get back to his feet before seeing Turles above him and about to step on him. John quickly backflipped out from being crushed and flipped back to his feet while being on his equal side with Goku. Turles and Nappa super jumped forward at the two before both John and Goku used their base level kaioken to flew around them.
"Hehehe, that trick won't work this time." Turles said before using his tail to powerfully wack John like a housefly.
Nappa did the same with Goku. John and Goku quickly recovered and jumped from giant rock to giant rock while avoiding the two Oozaru saiyans attacks. This have thrown both John and Goku's game completely off as one of them did expect to be fighting like this. John have never fought or seen a saiyan in Oozaru form expect by pictures. His parents have never taught him on how to fight a saiyan when they are in great ape form.
As for poor Goku. The man was in great confusion throughout this point. All these years growing up and rasied by his adopted big brother he has never been told about this capability that their people processed. What got Goku the most is when Nappa mentioning that he and John wished they had their tails.
"John what does our old tails have to do with this?." Goku asked while dodging a massive attack.
John did not want to explain this to Goku and it is not because they were fighting to survive until they come up with a solution to their situation. No. He is not ready tell Goku about the hidden secret. The hidden secret about the saiyans.
"Goku, now is not the time to be asking about that. Stay focus at the task at hand." John said while jumping over Turles's fist.
Goku shook his head in refusal before throwing a few ki blasts at Nappa's face. "No. Brother you are hiding something from me. What is it?. What did Nappa mean about our tails?."
John shook his head in refusing to bring himself to tell Goku the truth about the infamous fun fact about their people's ability. "Goku, please can we talk about this some other time?."
"No!." Goku angerly yelled as he flew away from Nappa's grab. "Tell me now damnit!."
"I...I can not. No." John spoke honestly while looking at Turles who stopped attacking him.
Reason behind it is that he is interested in the conversation that John and Goku were talking about. Turles can see that John was trying to keep the secret from Goku as best as he can. Grinning evilly, Turles is seeing the perfect opportunity to fuck John over for this. He was going to have the hidden secret revealed.
"I can tell you, Goku." Turles got the two's attention.
This has caught John's attention in the wrong way. Out of all the people in the while universe, John did not want Turles to tell Goku about the purpose of their Saiyan tails.
"Turles you stay out of this." John warned the great ape saiyan.
Turles looked at John. "Oh, Kiren, you have been holding back the most fun fact about our people from Kakarot."
Goku stopped putting up a fight against Nappa as he is seeing that his lookalike knows the hidden secret that John is keeping it from him.
"W...W...What do you know?." Goku question.
"Well..." Turles playfully dragged his explanation to just aggravate John.
"Asshole you better not..." John accidentally let his whole guard down as Nappa appeared behind him and grabbed him with both of his big hands.
"S...Shit!." John struggled to get free. "I fucking drop my damn guard down!."
"Indeed you did." Nappa spoke while putting pressure on John's body.
The king of the saiyans yelled out in pain in response. Goku was about to use his kaioken to blindside Nappa in order to get John out form his hands. But then Turles started to use this moment to get Goku's attention and explain.
"Well, Kakarot, you see the tails on the saiyans are not just for show. Our tails are our key of transformation into the Oozaru or great ape form. It all takes is by just looking directly at a full moon. Just looking at the full moon triggers our saiyan blood to awaken and unleashed the beast within and lay waste and destruction towards anything that is in or stands in our way. Let alone the power of the Oozaru increases our regular power level times ten!." explained Turles.
Goku stood there as he let everything that Turles said run through his mind. Remembering back when he was a kid that John told him that they must stay indoors with the windows shielding the moon or moonlight from peaking in. Remembering how John told him that looking at the full moon will wake the uncontrolled beast. The same beast which were two at the time that killed their beloved Grandpa Gohan. However after hearing the hidden truth about the beast, Goku had a look of utter horror on his face when comprehending everything about the truth. The truth that he had killed their own grandpa.
Meaning that it made full sense since Goku now realizing that why his and John's friends wanted their tails removed as soon as possible. Let alone now realizing why John gave themselves a strict curfew when the sun starts to come down.
"W...W...We killed our Grandpa." Goku shivered when looking at John. "And you kelp that secret from me!."
"Goku...I...I...Ahhh!." John yelled in pain when Nappa gave the full pressure.
"Enough with the softy bullshit." Nappa lifted John up while squeezing him hard. "Back to fighting!."
Nappa instantly threw John right down to the clay dirt ground hard with the man yelling in pain once making contact to the surface.
"Big Brother!." Goku lost his focus when Turles jumped forward and bashed him.
Bulma, Chi Chi, Gohan, and Krillin had formerly looked at the big shiny glowing energy orb in the sky before sensing big powers in the same direction that they left John and Goku in. They did not like what they are sensing. Fear and worry creeped inside of Bulma and Chi Chi as they felt that their saiyan husbands needs them big time. Whatever that is going on in the battlefield between John and Goku and the Saiyans, their wife instincts were wildly kicking in on the danger that their lovers are in.
"Mom?. Auntie Bulma?. Krillin?. We need to go back to my Dad and Uncle John." said Gohan, looking at direction on where the power is coming from in utter determination.
Bulma flew beside her nephew as she too has the same mindset as him. "You are right Gohan. We need to go back."
"What?." Krillin looked at the direction. "Guys whatever Goku and John are dealing with, they have a better chance against it than us."
"Krillin we have to go." Chi Chi flew forward in front before looking at the bald monk. "We have already lost our friends. We can not lose them as well."
Krillin can not argue on that one. He can not just sit there and do nothing while his two best friends fight it out against their own people. Heck, none of them have no clue as to what those sneaky Saiyans have under their sleeve. Maybe John does.
"Come on you guys." Krillin had a determined facial expression. "John and Goku needs our help."
Bulma smiled with a nod. "Yes."
The four powered up and flew right back to the direction of the battlefield that they left. John and Goku were in a rough situation. Especially Goku who can not keep his head in the game due to being too traumatized about him and John accidentally murdering their own Grandpa Gohan. John have tried to peak up the slack but failed to turn things around. Turles and Nappa were beating them with such ease. Even though John and Goku can use the next levels of the kaioken but did not want to damage their bodies. Even though Turles and Nappa were making good work with that. Most of all is that John had used kaioken x4 not to long ago and unfortunately thrashed his whole entire body. He can barely moved at this point while not trying to hurt himself. Unfortunately it was not in his cards to take it easy.
"Goku?." John barely tried to hold himself up and looked at Goku. "I'm sorry. Sorry for not telling you the truth all these years."
Goku had one eye closed while having tears running down. He managed breathing through his mouth after his nose got broken. "You should not have kept that form me. We are brothers."
"Yes, Goku we are brothers." John took the moment to slid down and sit on the ground due to having pain in his ankle joints. "As your big brother I have to protect you and hold back on the truth until you were ready for them. Me and Granpa Gohan talked about this when you were asleep."
John and Goku were currently hiding behind a good shaped rock hill to give them enough time to take a break and think of a plan. While Turles and Nappa were searching for them and was not rushing at all.
"What did Grandpa say?." Goku looked down at John.
John lay his head back on the hill wall. "He said tell you when I feel the time is right. I should have told you when you became an adult. But I can not just bring myself into telling you. I love you baby brother and I just can not traumatize you."
"Really?." Goku sadly looked at his big brother while wiping his face of his tears off.
"Really." John looked up at Goku. "What happened to Grandpa Gohan is an accident. You and I can make this one up for our grandpa by stopping and killing these heartless bastards. We must not let hurt or kill anyone again. Those two will never change regardless how much we try convincing them."
John slowly pulled himself back onto his feet painfully while breathing heavily. Goku managed to open his closed eye help keep John from falling back down to the ground.
"What is the plan?." Goku finally managed to get his mind focused again.
"We need to find a way to cut off their tails." John managed to move his feet to get off the wall. "It would be different if it was just one of them. If that was the case then one of us would be a distraction while the other cuts the tail. Two Great Apes are a challenge. Should have killed the two when we had the chance and not playing around with them. Damn."
"THERE YOU GUYS ARE!."
Goku and John looked up to see Turles and Nappa standing over them. Both John and Goku used kaioken to quickly jumped back from meeting fist and foot stomping. The two flew far back and guard themselves when Turles and Nappa energy blast them through their mouths. After blocking the blast, the two earth saiyan warriors had to constantly flew around the two saiyan apes as Turles and Nappa were trying to grab them. John and Goku must figure out how to manage on getting those tails cut and finally end all this. Both the two were losing their stamina when boos flying at top speed while vanishing and even ducking and dodging.
"If a fly can not survive less than a minute form being squished, then what makes you two think you will survive any longer?." Turles said while trying to wack John.
"Trust me Turles, a fly do not have any intelligence on figuring out a plan to handle the situation compared to a saiyan." spoke John, ducking from Turles's hand chop.
Turles chuckled. "Oh, you have a plan?. Well, do not be disappointed when you or Kakarot will not be able to act on it."
"Agree. Not while we are stopping it." Nappa spoke when backflipped attacking on Goku.
Goku immediately jumped back from being attacked and when straight for Nappa's tail. "Take this!."
Goku put both hands and grabbed Nappa's giant tail. Nappa stood straight up stiff when feeling his tail being pulled. Both John and Turles stopped at what they were doing when watching this.
"No my tail!. My tail!." Nappa spoke in fear.
"Hehehe, I got your ass now." Goku confidentanly said with a smuged look when having a good hold on it.
Little Goku knows that Nappa was only humoring him about his own tail being pulled. To both John and Goku's shock, Nappa used his tail to flick Goku right off of it in a instant. Making one of the saiyans raised on earth make contact with a cliff. John looked in horror as he can not believe what he just witnessed from Nappa. He actually mastered the skill of overcoming his tail weakness. John believed that only and Goku were the only saiyans that pulled off the unthinkable of breaking the weakness of their saiyan tails.
"Aww, what is the matter Kiren?." Turles grinned while getting a still shocked John's attention. "You really think that me and Nappa were unable to overcome the weak spot of our tails?. Hehehe, unlike poor fallen Raditz, we are smart enough to push our body limits."
"Including our tails. Hahaha, you two's planned ace in a hole is absolutely shit!." Nappa laughed amusingly.
John got anger at this while clushing his fist and have it up. "No. Damnit all."
Suddenly John and Goku sensed multiple energy Ki's as the two looked over Nappa and Turles to see Bulma and the others flew up at a proper far distance. Bulma, Chi Chi, Gohan, and Krillin were in shock to see two giant apes and quickly figured that it is Turles and Nappa. But how?. Bulma looked up at the shiny energy orb and noticed how moonlight it is before understanding what is the orb's purpose is.
"That orb above us." Bulma got the three's attention at the shiny energy sphere. "It is performing like a an artificial moon. The same way that Master Roshi did with your bold head, Krillin."
"Now that you mention it, Bulma. You are absolutely right." Krillin took his eyes off from looking at the sphere before hurting his oculus. "Is it possible to destroy it?."
"Hmmm, if we did we might do more harm than good. I never seen or destructive test against an artificial moon made from pure ki energy." said Bulma, before glancing at her king.
"We have to do something, Auntie Bulma." Gohan looked at his wounded and bleeding uncle and father. "I do not think that my Dad and Uncle John can keep this up."
"You are right about that, Gohan." Chi Chi looked worriedly at her Goku. "We need to cut Turles and Nappa's tails off right away."
"Exactly."
Bulma and the others stopped still when hearing John's voice in their heads.
"John is that you?." Bulma asked unsure.
John kelp fatiguely dodging Turles. "Baby, I am using telepathy. Something that me and Goku have picked up through our training from King Kai back in the Other World. Me and Goku have tried the attempt of yanking their tails but unfortunately these jackasses have learned to overcome their tail weakness."
Goku chipped in on the conversation as he avoided being grabbed my Nappa and being blasted at. "Turles and Nappa does not know you four have come back. They may be able to master their tails but they did not mastered the ability to sense someone's energy. Will distract them while you guys cut their tails off."
"Yes, that will work big time." Krillin felt confident in this plan.
"Do not worry, Daddy." Gohan had a look of determination. "Will help you!."
"Good." Goku jumped off of Nappa's fist.
John blocked Turles's fist to much to his pain in his arms. "We are counting on you four."
"Krillin give me and Chi Chi your hands." Bulma looked at her best friend before reaching her hand out. "Will give you our energy to help strengthen your Destruco Disc."
Krillin nodded in understanding. "Right!."
Chi Chi came to Krillin's right side and grabbed his hand. Then the two powered up and transfer there energy into Krillin. Giving him enough of their power to boosted his signature move against two saiyan tails. They watched John and Goku completely burnt out and currently being squeezed hardly by Turles and Nappa's grip. They need to hurry this up.
"That should do it you guys." Krillin let go of Bulma and Chi Chi's hands.
Next, he raised his arm up and opened his hand. Channeling the energy that he gathered and using his own energy he created a very large energy disc.
"This is it." Krillin informed them.
"Then fire it!." Gohan yelled when seeing how much pain his father and Uncle are currently enduring.
"Right!." Krillin got into his firing readyness. "Super Distruco Disc!."
Krillin threw his disc right at the two Great Apes. Using his ki control he controlled the disc to make a curve turn to get both tails. John and Goku see the big disc making its way at Turles first before Nappa as this is the break that they needed.
"Hope you do not mind losing something very important that is apart of you, Turles" John smuged at the saiyan.
Turles raised his brow and pulled John close to him. "What the fuck did you mean by that?."
"About now." John gave the saiyan the heads-up.
"What?." Turles question this.
As if on cue, Krillin's signature move made contact with Turles tail and cut clean off. Turles felt that clean energy slice like a punch in the fast as he felt his self starting to stagnate from being Oozaru.
"Ah, Turles!." Nappa looked at the disc coming towards his tail and quickly jumped all the way up from being touched by the blade.
"Oh, no you don't!." Krillin orchestrated his hand into a fist and quickly pushed it up.
The energy disc automatically obeyed the command and shoot right at Nappa's tail and cut it clean off!.
"Noooo!. My tail!." Nappa felt his energy depleting and his from stagnating as well.
John and Goku got themselves free from Turles and Nappa's grips while watching the two saiyans returning back into their regular form.
"Damnit!." Turles felt himself turning back to normal. "My fucking tail!."
"Yes!." Bulma happily cheered when looking at a happy Chi Chi with a nod.
Krillin and Gohan shared the same facial expression of satisfaction and relief. As for Goku who is watching Nappa fully turned back to normal and saw his chance to finally take the saiyan out for good.
"I am not going to make the same mistake again!." Goku powered up his kaioken. "Kaioken!. Ha!."
Goku instantly zoomed curved and strikes with both arms out with both fits and crashed into Nappa's back. It resulted in both of them immediately hearing bone crushing sounds.
Nappa yelled out in pure pain before falling down to the clay dirt ground. Once making contact with the ground for about five seconds, Nappa tried to move but can not do so at all let alone can not feel anything from the waist down.
"You...You...You paralyzed me from the waist down. I'm... I'm a vegetable!." Nappa cried out in fear.
Turles who is standing on the ground surface in look of shock in seeing downfall of his fellow saiyan warrior. "N...No...Nappa!."
Goku charges his kaioken and got into his signature ki blast move. "Do not worry I will end your suffering. Have fun rioting enterity in HFIL!. Ka-me-ha-me-ha!."
Goku shoot his Kamehameha wave right down at a paralyzed Nappa as the energy made contact on him as he yelled out in pain while being dissolved. With no hesitation the Kamehameha exploded and reduced Nappa into burnt ashes. Turles gasped in shock at what he just saw. He saw Nappa killed right in front of him and leaving him with the others. He finally noticed Bulma and the others and figured where the large energy disc had came from. Holding himself up while in huge major pain as he has his back in the sharp corner. He eyed John and Goku making contact with their wives the bald man and the saiyan hybrid boy.
Turles does not see himself winning and coming off this planet alive after losing his tail and forever lost his key to turning Oozaru. And now he has lost Nappa. His chances are looking mega dim. He watched the bald man hand John and Goku each a bean and ate it and instantly healed them. Turles can now see that this is indeed the end of the road for him.
"Alright, Turles time to meet up with Nappa in Other World." John cracked his neck and seriously looked at the complete injured saiyan. "Tell Raditz that we say hi when you go to HFIL. I will tell you what."
John pulled out one finger. "I am going to treat you like all the other assholes who crossed our paths over the years. I am giving you one last chance, Turles. One last chance to pull out one last move. One chance. One move and that is it. And make sure your last move have better count. If not then consider yourself my victim."
"A...Are you serious?." Turles can not believe on what he is hearing let alone is giving one last chance. "A...And...And what about them?."
John looked to his side to his wife, his baby brother, his sister-in-law, and his best friend who were looking back at him as they know about his signature method of fair game. "Do not worry about them. My baby brother have already killed Nappa and so I should kill you. Meaning that this thrid round fight is between me and you alone. Again, Turles, make this last move count. You have all the time in the universe."
Turles stepped back in fear at what he is hearing. But then suddenly his fear had all washed away as the saiyan remembered one thing. The one thing that he did before engaging the Z Fighters that this planet has to offer and figting this disgraced prince of the saiyans. He remembered planted the only seeds of the Tree of Might somewhere far away from where they stand beyond the area itself. This have sparked Turles hope in turning all this around in an instant. He planeted the tree in case he and Nappa might have a cheating edge in beating John and Goku in case that they were going to push them to their absolute limit and breaking point.
"Hehehe." Turles evilly chuckled.
"What is so funny asshole?." John spat out unamused. "You came up with your final move?."
"Well, actually Kiren, I do. I have unfortunately forgotten about a certain window of opportunity that me and Nappa had set up for ourselves before fighting your wannabe saiyan queen of yours." said Turles.
Bulma is furious and tired of hearing this coming out of this man's mouth. "What are you getting at, you descrimnating motherfucker?!."
Turles strengthen himself up and smirked evilly. "I have the Tree of Might on my side!."
"The Tree of Might?." John and the others looked at Turles in confusion.
Turles evilly chuckled. "Bye-Bye."
Whatever energy that is left within Turles he jumped off the ground and boosted his flying and fly away from them and the area itself.
"Hey, get back here!" John jumped up and he too boost fly and followed Turles.
"John wait up!." Bulma called as she used her renewed energy from eating a second senzu bean and boosted her flying to catch up with her husband saiyan king.
"Come on!." Goku told the others before doing the same.
"Let us fly boys." Chi Chi followed Goku and the others.
"Right!." Krillin and Gohan spoke in ursion as they too pursuited the others.
It would seems that Turles has one finally ace up his sleeve. What does the so called Tree of Might do to put the winning odds to Turles much needed favor?.
