Chapter Nine: Oozaru and Spirit Bomb

John and the others watched Gohan, who is in Oozaru form, giving an inexperienced Turles a run for his money. The Saiyan warrior has never fought another saiyan in Great Ape form as this is in fact difficult, to say the least. Gohan was far from self-aware as he lay destruction while focusing his wild uncontrollable rage on Turles. Gohan slapped Turles hard from behind after the saiyan tried to make a forward attack. Turles tried to make the attempt to quickly cut Gohan's tail right off, but that is easier said than done with his unfortunate situation.

"I need to not waste any more distracting time," John told himself before, slowly and painfully flying up into the air at a good level.

"How does this spirit bomb work anyway?." Krillin asked when watching his best friend.

John held himself together as the pain in his muscles and cracked bones were unable. "The Spirit Bomb, Krillin, is an all ki attack that allows you to borrow energy from grass and trees, from people and animals, from inanimate objects and the atmosphere. After gathering enough desired energy, you release the bomb at your target. From there you need to stand clear and away from the blast wave depending on how big the bomb is."

Goku nodded in awe at the technique that King Kai had taught John. "Hope, you do not need enough energy to kill Turles."

John glanced and stared at the giant tree. "I only need to collect energy from that life-sucking tree."

Remembering exactly how King Kai has taught him to perform, John slowly and painfully lifted his arms all the way up. Then he spread them at equal length before focusing and concentrating his mind to communicate with the last of its kind Tree of Might.

"Tree of Might, lend me your energy," John spoke as he readies himself for the energy. "Give me all of your energy."

With that, the Tree of Might started lending all of its stolen energy to John. He looked up to see a shiny energy orb forming and grinned at it. It is working and now he has to wait until he gathered enough energy to use on both Turles and the Tree of Might. Now, all he needs now is for Gohan to keep Turles distracted long enough until the bomb is ready for firing. Speaking of Oozaru Gohan, he was putting huge pressure on poor Turles. The Saiyan warrior was undoubtedly getting his ass beaten by a none self-aware Oozaru in which he is now understanding that it is a bad case.

"Damn you, you damn hybrid!." Turles jumped back from being punched by a fist.

Gohan roared in rage at not being able to kill his prey but did not stop chasing. Turles zoomed back into the air and shot a few multiple ki blasts at Oozaru Gohan. However, it only angered the hybrid saiyan to no end as he jumped and slammed his fists down to the ground, as Turles have gotten himself away from being hit but did not think that the mindless Oozaru hybrid would get clever by immediately lifting his fists up and hit Turles hard.

"Ah!." Turles regained his posture and growled. "Damn that hybrid!. Need to cut his tail off now!."

Gohan roared and pounded their chest in victory before charging again at Turles. Turles tried his best to get behind Oozaru Gohan before quickly thinking of blinding him with a quick blast. Then he turned behind Gohan and reached his tail and took a stronghold in both hands. Gohan roared in pain when feeling his energy being drained.

"Gotcha!." Turles used his strength and pulled Oozaru Gohan up by the tail and dropped him hard.

"No, Gohan!." cried Chi Chi, in worry.

"Oh, no, Turles managed to get Gohan's tail!." Bulma painfully looked on.

"John make it quick!." Goku called out.

John looked at the orb as it was getting bigger and stronger. "Just a bit more."

Turles looked down at Oozaru Gohan who was laying flat on the ground and stunned. He looked up at his artificial moon while powering up his ki. "Time to take you out!."

Turles fired his beam at his artificial moon and quickly destroyed it. Causing a good big wave of wind and causing a few seeing eyes to be temporarily blinded. John closed his eyes on when this has happened while the others did not think real quick. As a result, what was left of Turles's artificial moon was reduced to energy particles and then turned Gohan back to his normal state. The boy lay tired, weak, and injured to the point he could not move. Turles chuckled at his victory as he has truly won the battle against everyone on this planet. He looked at the others with an evil grin as he has the winning chance against them all.

"Hehehe, now that is out of the way." Turles balled his fist. "Time to kill the fucking rest of you!."

"I do not think so, Turles!." John felt the bomb had enough energy to eliminate both the saiyan and the tree itself. "Get Gohan out of the way!."

"What?." Turles's noticed that an overweight earthling running away with Gohan on his back. Then he finally looked up at what John is doing and saw the huge energy ball. "The fuck is that?!."

"Spirit Bomb!." John threw the energy ball at Turles.

Turles could not or had the time to dodge the blue energy sphere. This was unavoidable. "Nooooo!."

The Spirit Bomb made contact with Turles and he felt himself slowly being incinerated as he feels that his time in the living is at an end.

"Damn it!. Damn, it all!!!!." Turles screamed before the bomb consumed him, whole.

The Spirit Bomb eventually made contact with the Tree of Might and exploded. Bulma and the others hit the dirt once the explosion had gone off. John got hit down as the massive exploded wind took him down. As for Yajirobe, he and the out cold Gohan hid behind a boulder as soon as the bomb went off. Once the dust was cleared and sensing no power from Turles and assuming that he was dead, everyone managed to get back to their feet and regain themselves.

"Everyone ok?." Krillin coughed a bit of clay dust out of his lungs.

Chi Chi helped Bulma back up. "We are good."

"What about my King?." Bulma asked while fighting the dust in her eyes.

Goku found John lying down hurt and bad. "His breathing barely. But his body is far from fighting for a while."

"He needs to be stretched." Yajirobe approached the others with Gohan in his arms. "Here let us take my medium plane and get the fuck out of here. Man, you guys have pulled all the stops against the Saiyans."

Bulma sighed sadly. "But we have lost Yamcha, Tien, Chiaotzu, and Piccolo. Including Kami. Without Kami, the dragon balls are useless. Shit."

Everyone sighed at this as if that is true. The dragon balls are forever hard-stoned and there is no other way to bring the others back. After Yajirobe opened the capsule to his plane, everyone got in and headed straight to the nearest hospital to heal their wounds. All were pondering what to do next. As for John, however, he has the pros and cons of the solution to their problems.

"Do not forget you guys." John, get everyone's attention. "We have Option B."

"Option B?. John did you hit your head harder?." Krillin asked.

"No." John tried not to move. "Years ago back at the LookOut, Kami told me something about himself. He said that he was not originally from Earth."

"What?." Chi Chi looked at her brother-in-law in surprise. "Kami is not from here?."

"No. He is from a planet called Namek." John began.

"Hey, I remembered one of those assholes calling Piccolo a Namek. They were talking about him by race." Bulma looked at her husband while holding his hand.

"Alright!." Krillin got excited by the new information. "We can go to that planet and wish our friends back!. This is great!."

"Before you and anyone on this plane start celebrating, there is a catch." John looked at the ceiling with fear on his face.

Goku and the others waited to hear what John was going to say to them. Whatever it is it must be very important if John is being serious about it.

"We are not the only ones who know about the existence of Namek, let alone knowing that myself and Goku are truly the last full-blooded saiyans alive. With everything that has happened, I know deep inside of me that Frieza is already preparing and taking his full focus on Namek. He is probably getting ready to leave his planet as we speak. You all thought that Turles and Nappa were tough. Wait until and hope that we will not cross paths with Frieza." said John.

He looked at his wife in fear. "Frieza. The most powerful person in his family. So powerful that he earned the title of Emperor of the Universe."

This shocked Goku and all the rest except for Yajirobe who was not planning to go to another world and get himself killed. And now, the hunt for the dragon balls on Namek has become a race against the man who both earned the title of being the most powerful being in the universe and single-handly genocided John and Goku's whole entire race.
