Where the Hell is Gohan: Chapter 4
A new day in Hell greeted the resident's of Lucifer's Palace as our Half-Saiyan hero awoke feeling refreshed and recharged. Sitting up in the rather comfy bed he noticed that his outfit had been cleaned and hung upon the wardrobe door with a small post-it note attached to the front of it.
Stepping out of bed and grabbing the note he read aloud the note to himself "Can't have you out, about with dirty clothes. I wish you luck on your travels with Princess Charlotte. Your humble Servant: Higgins.".
Gohan smiled as he looked at his well pressed outfit and was pleased to see that it was clean, and clear of any dirt, or wrinkles. It reminded him of how his mother was always adamant that his clothes be ironed everyday. It gave him a warm feeling that he felt from his head to his tail….wait a minute TAIL!?
Looking down Gohan couldn't believe that his tail had miraculously regrown itself and was bushier than ever. Running over to the mirror Gohan stared at the familiar appendage when he noticed that his tail wasn't the only change to his body.
Sure enough Gohan noticed two small sharp horns sticking out of his forehead. Thinking that Lucifer had stuck two fake ones on his head as a joke, Gohan reached his hands up and poke out the tips before recoiling slightly at the sensation he had felt. He knew his hunch was wrong as he could see that the horns were very much real, and had just nicked his fingertips lightly.
"Okay this is just weird!" He said in shock as he couldn't believe that his body had changed the way it did "Maybe Lucifer knows something about this!".
Dressing himself quickly the boy gave himself one last look in the mirror before jolting from the room and in the direction of the Fallen Angel.
It didn't take him long to find him as Gohan made his way to the foyer where Lucifer, was engaged in what he could only guess was a serious conversation with his daughter, and Vaggie.
"If you are going to do anything today you had better make it quick sweetie. You know what today is and I don't want you outside any longer than you have to be." Lucifer told Charlie who was looking rather annoyed.
"I will dad, I just wanna go looking for a soul to redeem and then we'll bunker down inside the hotel till Extermination Day blows over!" Charlie said clearly unhappy about the yearly event.
At the mention of an Extermination Gohan made his presence known at the top of the staircase as he quickly asked "What's an Extermination Day?".
Quickly looking up at him the three shot him a surprised look. Both Charlie and Vaggie were both dumbstruck by his new appendage and facial horns. Lucifer was also surprised but kept an intrigued look on his face.
"Gohan we didn't see you there! How long were you standing there?" Lucifer asked trying not to get distracted by his swishing tail.
"Dios, Mio! Forget about how long he was standing there, what the hell happened to his body!?" Vaggie shrieked out. She didn't claim to be an expert on humans, but she knew for a fact that they weren't capable of growing long tails and horns.
Giving her a blank look, Gohan could only respond with "I woke up with them….".
Charlie stayed quiet for a few moments as Gohan walked up to them. As she couldn't tear her eyes away from it, she had one question to ask the boy "Can I touch it!?" she let out with stars in her eyes.
Vaggie shot her a questioning look, as Lucifer laughed at his daughter's innocent question. Gohan however looked like a deer in the headlights as he gave her a quick nod.
Charlie squealed with joy as she bent down and softly grabbed a small section of Gohan's tail and being mesmerized by it's softness "It's so fluffy I could just die!".
Poor Gohan didn't know what to do as he just blushed and looked at Lucifer for help, not liking that the man was doing a poor job of hiding his laughter.
"All right Char Char I think that's enough cuddling him, there will be plenty of time for that later. Although I must say Gohan that's quite the interesting change you have going on there." Lucifer said as Charlie pouted like she had just lost a brand new toy.
Gohan looked at him in a confused manner "I thought you might have done this. I mean I'm glad to have my tail back, but why the horns!?".
Placing a clawed hand to his chin to ponder, Lucifer thought for a few moments before simply shrugging "Who knows kid, maybe it had something to do with our contract?".
Vaggie could not believe his non-nonchalant demeanor about the situation "Wait the boy changes features in one night, and you have no idea what might have caused it!?".
"Does my title include all knowing in it? Cause I could have sworn that honor belongs to my dick-bag of a father!" Lucifer retorted back not liking the blame being forced onto himself.
"Actually I used to have a tail when I was younger but after it got cut off I thought I wouldn't ever see it again." Gohan said trying to defuse their argument before either one of them did something they might regret.
Taking a breath, Lucifer stared at Gohan for a moment before he spoke "You are just one big bundle of surprises aren't you?".
"Well I think they look nice on you. It definitely makes it easier to take you around since you look like you could pass for a sinner now." Charlie said while clasping her hand together trying to be the voice of positivity.
"He looks like hitting an angst/furry stage in his life sweety." Vaggie deadpanned as Lucifer had to stifle a giggle.
"What's a furry?" Gohan asked looking at her strangely.
"Moving on!" Charlie said quickly not wanting to have this type of conversation with him.
The three sat there in silence for a few minutes before Gohan tried to ask his original question "So what is Extermination Day? It doesn't sound pleasant.".
The three others exchanged glances before Lucifer spoke "Um...I'm going to let Charlie explain that to you after you all set out on her errands kid.".
At the mention of this Charlie quickly perked up "Oh yeah I almost forgot! We have to get going now if we are ever going to find the right person to be our first client for redemption!".
Lucifer nodded at her as he addressed the boy who still wore a confused look on his face "Alright Gohan this is where I leave things to you for the time being. I need you to remember that Hell is much different than Earth. You are going to see things that will make you uneasy, and possibly things that will make you feel sick inside. I just need you to remember that no matter what happens out there, your job is to keep my daughter safe and happy! Especially starting at midnight tonight!".
At the mention of midnight Gohan could see Lucifer's face sour and could tell that it wasn't something he wanted to talk about.
"I'll do my best Lord Lucifer!" Gohan said giving the Fallen Angel a salute.
As Charlie began pulling both Gohan, and Vaggie out the door and into the limo outside (which Lucifer had to quickly get removed from his wall and fixed). Lucifer watched them with amusement as Charlie was trying to push them in the car at the same time, too which the two were both making uncomfortable sound from the Princess's constant shoving.
"Stay safe Sweetie, call me if you need something, I love you!" The Lord of Hell waved to his only daughter as she began to wave back.
"I will dad, I'll message you after we are in the clear tomorrow, and I love you too!" Charlie called as she disappeared into the car before it quickly drove off away from the palace.
As Lucifer watched them become a dot in the distance he dropped his smile before quietly replying "I hope this place doesn't chew you up like it did me Gohan. Please just keep her alive that's all I ask,". As soon as he could no longer see them he quickly turned on his heel and headed back inside to his office where he planned to drown out his sorrows in his work.
-Pentagram City-
As the trio had disembarked from Lucifer's palace, Gohan was staring out the window to observe the city he now found himself in. Looking around he watched as a multitude of demon's with different forms worked quickly to barricade windows and doors around multiple building that they passed. Gohan could only guess that this was due to the Extermination Day that was soon approaching.
Vaggie and Charlie both watched the boy and could only guess what he was wondering about. The two exchanged a look before nodding to each other.
"Sad looking, isn't it?" Charlie asked as Gohan continued to watch his surroundings.
"Why is everyone here trying to board up everything?" The boy asked as he felt so many energies around him spiking trying to work quickly on finishing their task.
Vaggie sat back in her seat, before sighing "It's because of tomorrow's Extermination Day." she flatly said as she stared at her hands.
"But what is Extermination Day, and why is everyone running scared!?" Gohan said getting tired of asking the same question multiple times with no answer.
Charlie huffed lightly deciding that she could put off telling him no longer "As dad might of told you about Sinner Demons, they are human souls that have died and been sent to Hell. Once they arrive here they are confined to the Pride Ring which is where we are now. The problem with that is that there is only so much space here and potentially millions of souls being dropped down here every year.".
Gohan was following her explanation and took notice how her face slowly dropped into an unhappy frown as she continued.
"Since the population of Sinner Demons rise so dramatically throughout the year, the forces of Heaven decided that they were to dangerous to allow to exist in such a large number. They feel like unchecked they would eventually rise up to challenge Heaven's rule. The solution for this was what we now call Extermination Day." Charlie said as she wrapped her arms around herself before letting a few tears fall.
Vaggie decided to take over, hoping to spare her girlfriend any more discomfort "Extermination Day is an annual event where Heaven sends their Extermination squad down here to wipe out as many demons as they can with their Angelic weapons. Normally Sinner demons can survive most types of weapons and could possibly heal from most surface wounds, but if they are killed with an Angelic weapon then it's lights out for good!" She finished as she could see the Shocked look on Gohan's face.
"That's terrible, how could Lucifer let this happen!" Gohan yelled not believing what he was hearing.
Scowling Charlie bitterly spoke "Dad was the one who signed the deal with Heaven to allow it to happen. His only terms were that they wouldn't target me or other Hellborns.".
"What!?" Gohan said in disbelief at what he had just heard. He could not believe that Lucifer was a willing cause in this cycle of carnage on his own people.
"Yeah kid, this is the whole reason why Charlie wants to get this redemption idea up and running. She wants to save as many souls as possible so that Extermination isn't necessary anymore". Vaggie said looking him in the eye.
Gohan was now, more than ever ready to help Charlie make her dream a reality. What kind of a future husband would he be if he didn't stand by her when she needed him to be….even if she didn't even see him as her partner yet.
"So this is why you wanted to make a hotel for Sinners to redeem themselves right! Well even though I don't know much about Hell, I will do whatever it takes to help you Charlie!" Gohan said placing his hand on Charlie's shoulder gaining a small smile from the girl.
At the same time Vaggie placed her hand on her other shoulder before giving her a smile as well "It might be a long shot sweetie, but it looks like you have your first two helpers ready to give it all they've got!".
Smiling widely at the two of them Charlie squealed in joy as she pulled them into a tight hug, surprising Gohan with her strength "You two are the best people a girl like me could ever ask for!".
Their moment was interrupted by the driver tapping on the window before rolling it down and calling back to the Princess "I'm terribly sorry my lady, but what is our destination?".
Realizing she never told the driver where to go she sheepishly laughed before releasing the two and calling out loud "Today we will be circling the city to find my first redemption case!".
"Very good, Princess Charlie as you wish." The driver said before rolling up the window and continued circling the streets.
"All right gang everyone be on the lookout for someone who might be a good candidate for redemption!" Charlie called out as she pressed her face against the window of the limo.
Vaggie smirked as she looked at Gohan "Well you heard the lady, looks like we are on the clock kid.".
As the woman began staring out the window, Gohan decided to sit on the opposite side and look at the opposite side of the street. Each of them hoping that it wouldn't take to long to find someone...anyone who might be willing to be redeemed.
-Three Hours Later-
Vaggie groaned out as she began to get frustrated with circling the city "Charlie we've been around the entire city seven times. I don't think we are going to find anyone like this.".
Gohan didn't want to be a downer but he had to agree with Vaggie. They had been riding around for awhile and all they had managed to see was a bunch of drunk scared sinners, who either told them get lost, or flipped them off as they drove by.
"Just a few more times Vaggie! I just know were are about to stumble onto somebody we just have to find that poor soul that needs some help!" Charlie said shooting puppy dog eyes at her partner.
Vaggie was about to disagree with her when suddenly Gohan called out "That guy over there look like he could use some help!".
The guy in question looked to be a Tall spider demon who had just been shoved out of a car by a large moth looking demon with a tall hat. Said spider demon was now leaning up against a light poll angrily cursing to the demon that had just left him on the street.
Charlie's eyes sparkled as she thanked her lucky stars that Gohan was with them on this day.
Vaggie only thought to the man was why would a prostitute want with redemption. His only interest would be to make more money for his pimp.
She was about to suggest they they go find someone else before realizing that Charlie had already stuck her head outside the window.
"Excuse me!" Charlie shouted getting the attention of the man who sauntered over seductively before looking into the car.
"Well Hey there! See-" He stopped as he realized he was speaking to a woman "Woah Now-For ladies I charge extra!".
Charlie had to think quickly before he walked away "No Wait! We don't want any of that. I was wondering if we could talk to you real quick!?".
The man crossed his arms and turned his head in an uninterested manner "I'm on the clock sister. Ya gotta pay if you wanna waste my time.".
"Oh yes, sure I can do that!" Charlie said opening the door for him.
Shrugging the man decided to see where this leads as he crawled inside over the both Charlie's and Vaggie lap and sat across from the trio "Ya got any booz in this fancy ass car?".
Vaggie scowled at the man's behavior as she looked at Charlie "Are you sure that this is the one you wanna start with!?".
The rather girly man sat on the far seat and posed like he was in a photo-shoot, with a lit cigarette still in his hand.
"Yep he's good I can tell!" Charlie replied cheerily as Vaggie looked at her with a disturbed look, and Gohan just sat their silently staring at the spider demon.
Looking over at the other male the demon had to ask "Did you bring me here to have fun with your beefcake here? He's kinda short but I can make do with those muscles of his!" he finished leaning in closer to Gohan who was really feeling uncomfortable.
"Charlie, I need an adult!" He yelled out as the demon giggled and leaned closer "Honey, I am an adult!".
Vaggie quickly tossed a knife at the space between the two hoping to spare the boy from being molested by an overly horny spider "Back up off him, he's only thirteen!".
The Man quickly recoiled and shrank back as he learned the age of the person he was flirting with "What the Hell show are you two bitches running here!? Why the Hell would you bring a kid to meet with a prostitute/porn star!?".
"We aren't looking for a goddamn prostitute whatever your name is!" Vaggie yelled back already not liking his attitude.
"The name's Angel Dust and why the fuck would you call me here if you were looking for my services!?" The demon now known as Angel Dust said as he started to become even more frustrated than he was before getting in the car.
"Well Mr. Dust we have a proposition for you. First off my name is Vaggie, the woman beside me is Princess Charlie, and the one you just tried molesting is Gohan." Vaggie said trying to keep from wringing his neck.
Angel Dust had to stop her right there "Before you go any farther, I just want it known that if I known he was thirteen I would not have made a pass at him!".
That comment made Gohan move closer to Charlie just in case.
"As I was saying Your Princess Charlie here has repurposed one her family's buildings into a rehabilitation center for souls like you who we think have a chance at redemption." Vaggie continued beginning to lose her patience "Our Goal is to get a damned soul into Heaven. At least one just to prove that is possible.".
Angel Looked at her skeptically "Is it possible?".
Vaggie gave him a blank look "That we don't know yet.".
Giving them both a look that told him he wasn't impressed Charlie decided to take over "But We want you to be our first test subject!".
"Why me?" Angel asked unsure of why they would choose a screw up like him for something like this.
"Because you seem like someone who regrets his life choices and would be interested in self-reflection and bettering himself." Charlie said give him a hopeful smile.
"Also we have been riding in this damn limo all day, and haven't gotten a single person to agree to do this!" Vaggie said just wanting this whole conversation to come to a head.
Staring at the two for a few moments Angel Dust began to laugh uncontrollably to Vaggie's chagrin.
"Look, you will get free meals, free housing, and protection from Hell's constant Hazards. That is if you agree to attend the activities we plan. Also you have to genuinely attempt to rectify your behavior." Vaggie finished as Angel continued laughing.
After a few minutes the finally stopped as he finally giggled out "That sounds lame!".
If looks could kill Angel would have been dead a thousand times over as Gohan had to hold Vaggie back from jabbing her spear that appeared out of nowhere down Angel's throat.
Charlie however just laughed as she stated "Aw, you can't tell me you enjoy standing on the side of the street waiting for someone to pay to…..Ya know….".
"No I don't...please finish that sentence." Angel teased seeing Charlie's flustered face.
"All right Charlie, he's not a good candidate for this!" Vaggie shouted clearly tired of Angel Dust "We'll just look again after the Extermination, he won't last long anyway.
Her words hit Angel's pride right where it hurt and he called out "Hey! Who said I'm not a good pick, I'm the fucking best pick! You three don't know me, I could be whatever I want to be!".
Vaggie finally broke free of Gohan as she pushed her finger into Angel's chest and growling "Then prove it!".
Even though he was feeling uncomfortable Gohan decided that he would speak up and voice his opinion "I say we give him a chance Vaggie.".
Both Vaggie and Angel Dust gave Gohan a double take as they couldn't believe that he just voted in favor of the spider demon.
"Why Gohan!? It's clear this pendejo only cares about working the street and couldn't give a damn about any of Charlie's dream!" Vaggie said not understanding his logic.
Gohan decided that it was to late to clam up now and decided to continue "Sometimes those who act the worst, are the ones who need the most help. I mean if redemption was easy then every soul would do it. Maybe he just needs people who believe in him to help.".
Charlie clasped her hands over her mouth as the boy that was her betrothed had perfectly recited how she felt about how redemption would work. Even if she didn't know where things would go from here she was overwhelmingly happy that he at least was on the same wavelength as her.
"Kid hate to shoot down your enthusiasm, but I don't think it's wise for you to be putting your trust so hard into someone you just met." Angel said in a matter of fact manner. Even if he was somewhat happy that someone could see that he had more to his character than his troubles.
Gohan smiled as he could feel that Angel could be a good person with some work "That may be, but some of my best friends started out as terrible people. All they needed was for someone to care enough for them to change their ways.".
Both Vaggie and Angel both stopped for a moment to ponder his words as they were surprised that someone so young could speak words of wisdom the way he had.
"How did you wind up down here kid with an attitude like that!?" Angel Dust asked not believing a kid like him should be down here with the rest.
Vaggie covered her face with her hand and sighed "It's a long story…".
Pulling out his phone and looking at the time Angel Dust smirked before looking at Charlie "All right toots, I'm in.".
Charlie threw her hand up in their air triumphantly as she couldn't believe Gohan helped them achieve their first tenant.
Raising his hand up Angel had to stop her excitement "Before we get to group hugging and all that, I should prolly get back to work today at least since I'm not being paid for playin, I still need to make my boss about-". He was cut off by Charlie dropping a large wad of cash into his hand that made spider demon speechless "What is this!?".
Charlie innocently said "Money!".
Angel looked down at the money and then back to her "This has got to be a trick!?".
Stepping towards him Charlie grasped his hand and looked him in the eye "No. This is an investment in you to show that we are serious. There's a whole lot more to you than you think there is. We want to help you if you will let us.".
Feeling weirded out at the astounding level of positivity Angel let himself out of the car "I mean I don't think I really need any help so…..yeah….alright I guess I'll be in touch eh...and thank for the cash.".
Charlie poked her head out of the window before shaking his hand and thanking him again "Yes we will, and thanks for giving this a shot. Can't wait to see you later!".
As the limo started driving away, Angel just watched it leave still in disbelief about what just happened.
Shrugging to himself Angel decided that he had enough money to go home for the day. Luckily he was only thirty minutes away from the broom closet that he called a room.
He had become very familiar with the streets over the last few years and he quickly made his way back before quickly stepping into his home and being greeted by his one joy in his afterlife.
Thinking back to the Princess's offer Angel stared at his pig Fat Nuggets and had to laugh "Redemption huh? Silly ain't it Nuggs?".
-Back with the Limo-
Charlie was giddy with excitement at the prospect of potentially her first tenant at the her hotel "Personally, I think that really well!" She gleefully stated to her two partners that were giving her an unsure look.
"Sweetie I don't really think we should be bribing demons to come stay at the hotel." Vaggie spoke not liking the large wad of cash they had paid the spider demon with.
Gohan had to agree as he added his two cents into the matter "It does seem kinda redundant to pay someone to agree to redemption.".
Charlie ignored their skepticism as she beamed to herself "Like I said I consider it an investment. Didn't you say that you felt like he could change his ways Gohan?".
"I mean I do, but it's also up to the person themselves if they want to change or not." Gohan said trying not rain on her parade.
"I can feel it Gohan. He doesn't want to be out here selling himself the way that he is. He just needs a safe place where the goodness inside of himself can grow." Charlie said smiling at Gohan.
While Gohan couldn't argue with that, he also felt that Angel Dust had a strange feeling to his energy. It was like it was slowly being poisoned.
Vaggie Interrupted his thoughts as she looked down at her phone "All right Charlie, we will see what happens with him but we need to be getting back to the hotel, the extermination will be starting in about an hour.".
With her eyes shooting wide open Charlie quickly knocked on the dividing screen to the driver up front "Get us back to the hotel on the double!".
Giving her a nod the driver quickly stepped on the gas trying get to the destination as quick as possible.
The streets passed by quickly as the trio slid around the backseat of the car. This reminded Gohan of the time his father tried to drive a hover car with him and his mother. He remembered how terrified he was when his father started zipping around the cars without an ounce of caution. His mother definitely gave him an earful when they got out due to him finally crashing into another car at full speed.
After about ten minutes of sliding around the back of the car the driver finally pulled into a broken down building's garage causing the three to fall out of the seat and onto the floor.
Gohan groaned lightly as the tumble made his head spin lightly. Realizing he felt pressure on his chest he looked up to see that the two girls had collided with him and were now both pressing up against his chest with Vaggie's face being just a few inches away from his.
He and the fallen angel locked eyes for a few moments before quickly separating quickly as Vaggie quickly stood up and lifted Charlie up with her.
Gohan quickly apologized as he pulled himself to his feet "I'm am so sorry about that Vaggie!".
"It's alright, we kinda landed on top of you so no harm done." Vaggie said not matching his gaze and feeling her cheeks lightly redden, a fact that didn't go unnoticed by Charlie. Vaggie was in disbelief as she couldn't believe how firm the boy's chest muscles and arm muscles were. She was having a hard time believing that the boy was only thirteen.
The Princess giggled as she also chimed in "At least none of us were hurt. C'mon, Vaggie and I will show you the hotel!" Grabbing his hand the girl lead him inside with Vaggie trailing close behind.
Stepping into the lobby of the building Charlie with a twirl called out in excitement "Welcome Gohan, to the Happy Hotel!".
Gohan looked around with an unsure look. The building looked run down with a lot of broken planks of wood in the floors, and various torn curtains.
"This is where you want to redeem demon's souls?" Gohan asked as he place his hand on plank of wood which quickly snapped as he touched it.
Giving him an uneasy grin, Charlie tried to explain the building poor state "Well to be honest, Dad let me have this building since he no longer holds conferences here. He said that as long as I fix it up I could do whatever I wanted with it, so I decided to make it the happiest hotel in hell!".
"Do you have any experience in renovation?" Gohan asked fully believing that Lucifer would give her a building but not help her fix it.
Vaggie answered with a simple "Nope…".
Looking at them both blankly, a stray sweat-drop appeared on his head as he was confused on how they attempt to accomplish their goals in such a broken building.
As if sensing his confusion Charlie tried to reassure him "It might not look like much now, but I'm sure that if we all work together when can turn this rinky-dink hotel into our own little slice of heaven!".
Vaggie sighed before walking over and taking a seat on the couch that was in front of a television "Alright sweety how about we just relax on the talk about the future and just watch the news for awhile.".
Vaggie patted the spot next to her, as Charlie sat down next to her. Gohan was unsure as to what he should do as he just stood there.
The two looked at him strangely as Charlie decided to ask "Aren't you going to join us, Gohan?".
"I just didn't want to intrude on your time together." Gohan said with his hands at his side.
"I mean we are going to be spending much more time with each other in the future so we might as well start now." Charlie said as she held her girlfriend's hand.
Deciding that she was right, Gohan slowly walked over and sat on the other side of Charlie.
Smiling Charlie picked up the TV remote and turned it on. Her enthusiasm quickly died as Breaking News appeared in bright red letters on the screen.
Gohan stared at the screen in interest as a rather tall white skin demon appeared on the screen with a sickeningly fake smile. Beside her was a rather normal looking demon wearing a gas mask.
"Good Evening residents of Pentagram City! This is Katie Killjoy with the news!" The female demon said as she cracked her neck.
"And I'm Tom Trench!" The demon to her side said straitening the papers in his hands.
Katie Killjoy looked at her co-host in annoyance as she continued the broadcast "It's that time again Sinner Demons! It's the time of year where your lives are forfeit, and your hopes are silenced. Extermination Day!".
"That's right Katie, but it's not all bad! Any lucky female sinners that are lucky enough to not get slaughtered, are free to come spend the night with the Trench-meister!" Tom Trench said making obscene thrusting gestures.
Katie continued smiling "I think if that was their only option for survival, they would much rather jump into the exterminators!". After she finished her taunt she quickly grabbed her mug of coffee and poured it all over his lap.
As the demon screamed out in pain, Gohan had to cringe in embarrassment after watching how annoying and cruel these two seemed to be.
Seeing his face, Vaggie had to comment "If only the demons like them could be the ones to get exterminated. With the way they behave it's no wonder heaven doesn't trust the….us.".
Vaggie hoped that Charlie did not catch her slip up as she quickly became silent after the comment. Gohan however heard her but after reading her face chose not to press her on it.
"Even if there are a few bad apples down here, no one deserves to be just erased from existence." Charlie said hanging onto her hope that all demons could be saved.
Gohan wanted to agree with her but he had to wonder something. He and his friends had killed many powerful being in his thirteen years of life. Did that mean that somewhere down here in the Pride Ring, was beings like Cell, and Frieza? He had been so shocked with his new location that he didn't take the time to even consider that possibility.
Maybe he needed to resume his training soon just to make sure that his new friends/future bride, and other potential souls remained safe.
Flashing back to the news the dreaded time of the year was quickly counting down and Charlie dreaded every last moment of it.
Katie Killjoy clapped her hand together as she prepared to announce the start of Extermination Day "Well folks, this year will be a little different than the rest as we have been granted the use of one of the most powerful Overlord team's surveillance equipment. That's right the V's very own Vox has set up multiple cameras around the city so we can show off each and every area of the city during this day of slaughter!".
Charlie pulled her legs up to her chest in horror as she heard the words "It's bad enough that it has to happen, but now we have to watch it as well!?".
Vaggie wrapped her girlfriend into a hug as she consoled her "It's terrible sweety, but now maybe Gohan can see exactly why we are doing what we are doing.".
"He's only thirteen Vaggie, I don't think he should be having to see this type of thing!" Charlie said not wanting to damage what she assumed was Gohan innocence.
Gohan however looked at her with a serious look "Charlie I know I'm still young but I have both killed, and seen death since I was four. Vaggie's right the only way I am going to understand the importance of this all is to experience it first hand.".
Vaggie had suspected there was more to the boy than he was letting on. She knew he had to be powerful for Lucifer to even bother plucking him from Earth, but even she was wondering how much death had he really experienced.
Charlie was distraught at hearing his admission. She refused to believe that a child at the age of four would have to kill in any situation just to survive "Promise you will tell me about yourself after Extermination day is over.".
She sounded like a little girl trying to make a pinky promise for secrets. Gohan wanted to smile at her but he knew that this was a time to be serious and gave her a quick nod as he focused back on the TV.
Both Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench stood up and clasped hands as they called counted down "10….9….8….6….5….4….3….2….1! Alright people you better run and hide cause if not your asses are gonna get fried!".
As they finished a large portal opened in the air above Pentagram City and like a plague of a thousands birds the executioners descended into Hell filling the streets with the sounds of death and murder.
End of Chapter 4
Alright another Chapter down! I'm trying to keep the pace with one chapter a week, and just to clarify we have not gotten to the Pilot episode yet. That will be coming in two chapters so if you are waiting for that then don't worry it's coming. I'm going to go ahead and answer this question for anyone who has it in the back of their minds. Why doesn't Goku just instant transmission down and grab Gohan. Goku has to have permission from King Yemma before he can just visit Heaven or Hell.
Just like in the show King Yemma had to grant permission for Goku to be able to skip judgment and run down snake way to train with King Kai. Same for the time he was granted permission to go down into Hell and stop a riot being caused by the Z-villains with Pikkon. Another thing is at this moment he has no idea that Gohan is even in Hell as he is training to get stronger. He will eventually learn that he is down in Hell and will go ask for the permission to go visit him but he can't just do a snatch and grab since Gohan is soul contracted to Lucifer.
No I don't care if people don't like it. It suits my purposes and later plots I have so I'm going to continue to use it.
On a more manageable note yes Helluva boss will be in this story too, but I have plans to hold off on introducing Gohan to the rest of Hell until after the finale of season one of Hazbin. I want Gohan to be well acquainted with some of the beings in Hell before he races off to go visit other rings that he has never been to before.
I'm going to hope that I can get another chapter out in a week, but it may be two week at the latest.
