-Chapter 7: Meeting with the Enemy-
One night has passed since the opening of the Hazbin Hotel, and Gohan had finally enjoyed a decent nights sleep. Cracking open one eye, he looked at the clock on the wall that read seven a.m. Looking down at the weight on his body he could see, Charlie splayed out across the bed sideways. She was snoring loudly, with both of her hooves laying across his chest almost kicking him in the face.
Strangely though he didn't see Vaggie laying in the spot she fell asleep in. Softly moving Charlie's sleeping body off of him, Gohan exited the bed on the other side and looked around the large room. He didn't have to look long for the other girl, as he soon found her laying across a yoga mat stretching herself into various positions.
"Morning Vaggie." He quietly spoke out trying not to wake Charlie who continued to snore. Snapping her gaze up Vaggie smiled back at him.
"Good morning to you too. I would have thought you would still be sleeping for awhile after everything that happened yesterday." She spoke moving into a sitting position on her knees.
Gohan grinned at her "I think I would have, if not for Charlie's snores and her hooves being uncomfortably close to my face.".
Vaggie chuckled knowingly "Trust me I know the feeling. We've been together three years and I know all her sleeping habits.".
"I mean I got enough sleep so it's okay. By the way how did you sleep? I hope I didn't make you feel uncomfortable last night." Gohan said hoping that it wasn't his fault she was awake.
Vaggie shook her head reassuringly "Trust me you were sleeping like a rock last night, I think Charlie moved a thousand more times than you did.".
"Actually I was more referring to you having to adjust to me being there. I still feel kinda weird about intruding to your time together." The boy explained.
Vaggie finally understood what he meant. She was honestly surprised she was handling it herself. If any other man tried to join them in bed, she would have been ready to skewer them with her spear. Gohan however was different than any man she had ever met. He made her feel valued instead of just being the girlfriend of his fiance.
"Listen since we have a moment alone to talk, I want to be honest with you. This whole thing is completely new to me, since relationship wise I've only ever been with Charlie, and have had some pretty bad experiences with men. It's going to take me a long time to fully adjust to this duo, becoming a trio." She started and saw his face drop slightly as she spoke "That being said, I fully appreciate how patient you are being with me, and I'm glad that someone like you was chosen instead of an asshole like Charlie's ex.".
Gohan smiled lightly at Vaggie's words glad to see that she was at least somewhat accepting of him "I see there's a story in that.".
"It's a long story, but I think Charlie should be the one to tell you about that, if she chooses to." Vaggie said not wanting to pry into Charlie's past without her say so "Also thanks for not ratting me out about my past.".
"Thanks for giving me a chance." Gohan retorted back as they both shared a warm glance.
Their chat was interrupted by a loud yawn coming from the bed, as Charlie awoke from her sleep and began looking for her partners.
"Gohan….Vaggie….Where did you both go?" She questioned still rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
"Over here sweetie." Vaggie said calling from across the room.
Charlie rolled out of bed and shuffled over to her, giving her both a hug and kiss "How come you both just left me in bed alone?" pouting lightly as she yawned.
"We you were snoring pretty loudly, and didn't want to risk poking a sleeping bear." Gohan teased as Vaggie giggled.
Charlie shot him a frown as she tried to fix her messy hair "What I never snore!".
"Sorry sweetie he's right. It's kind of hard not to notice when you get started." Vaggie laughed at her girlfriend.
Charlie's blushed a deep shade of crimson as they teased her "Why are you both being so mean to when I just woke!?".
Vaggie just smiled at her before holding her hand "Alright sweetie, how about we get dressed and then go some hell-cakes to make you happy?".
Charlie began hopping in place at the mention of her favorite breakfast "Oh yes please!".
Grabbing one of her new suits from the closet she ran as fast as she could into the bathroom to change leaving Gohan and Vaggie standing in the room.
Shaking her head at get girlfriends childlike antics, Vaggie looked at Gohan and said "How about after me and Charlie get changed, you grab the next shower and put on one the outfits that her dad had sent over for you?".
Gohan nodded in agreement realizing that he hadn't bathed since getting dragged into Hell.
"Yeah I think I'll do just that, thanks Vaggie." Gohan said as Vaggie grabbed her clothes and followed her girlfriend into the shower.
"Anytime, and don't worry I'll make sure to save you some breakfast." Vaggie said warmly as the door closed behind her.
Gohan walked over to the closet and began to look through it and saw that it was divided into three sections. One side for Charlie, one side for Vaggie, and now one side for him. He was surprised because of the size it, it was almost the size of a small bedroom, much bigger than his own back home.
Looking the side that was clearly labeled for him he began to look through the outfits put aside for him. It took him a few minutes to decide but he finally grabbed a prearranged outfit. Deciding that it was good enough for him he walked out of the closet just as he heard the sound of the bathroom door opening.
Out stepped Charlie, in Vaggie in their new work attire. Charlie's new suit consisted of a two piece crimson suit complete with white and black dress shoes, with a white button up dress shirt underneath. Here hair which was cascading freely down her back just the day before was now styled, and subdued using two large hair ties. It gave her a more sophisticated look about here, one that showed she ready for business.
Vaggie was equally surprising as she no long wore the plain white dress he had seen her in before. Now she wore a low cut crimson red shirt, with a black collar, and a black dress skirt to match. On her arms she wore a set of finger-less slate-gray opera gloves with matching thigh-high stockings. Honestly Gohan was surprised that she was able to make a basic work outfit look so good.
Charlie could see him admiring their new outfits and struck a pose "So how do we look, Gohan!?".
"You both look amazing! It's like I'm staring at two new people for the first time!" Gohan said clearly approving of their new looks.
Vaggie smirked and playfully jabbed "Wow did we look so terrible before?".
"No no no that's not what I meant! I just meant that you know…You really pull off those clothes really well!" Gohan said waving his hand in front of himself defensively.
The two laughed at him as Vaggie jabbed him lightly in the arm "I'm just teasing you relax, we appreciate the compliments. Now it's your turn to show off your new stuff. Meet us in the kitchen when you are done.".
Without another word Charlie pulled Vaggie out of the room, leaving behind a flustered Gohan behind. Shaking his head he just walked into the shower to get clean.
-15 minutes later-
Gohan decided that a quick shower would be best so he could hurry up and get downstairs for breakfast. As he walked down the staircase he could hear the sound of chatter as he was guessing that the rest of the crew we already preparing to eat.
Stepping into the dining room he was met by the faces of Charlie, Vaggie, and Nifty who eyed him with surprise. Gohan's new outfit consisted of a dark blue pair of cargo pants, with a blue dress t-shirt, and a black and red steampunk Gothic waistcoat with Lucifer's trademark symbol on the front of it. On his feet he wore a pair of black combat boots that looked perfect for kicking ass.
"Wow Gohan….you cleaned up pretty nice!" Charlie said impressed at his outfit as Vaggie gave him a thumbs up as well.
Gohan was happy that they approved but was suddenly floored when a blur crashed into him at high speed. Looking up he was met by the sadistic smile of Nifty who was now straddling his chest and bouncing up and down on him!
"Oh my bad boy savior has returned!" Nifty shouted nuzzling into his chest repeatedly. Scared at what the girl might do if left alone, he looked around for someone to help him.
"Someone…..Anyone!?" He shouted not wanting to hurt the small girl by throwing her off.
Before anyone could move the tired form of Husk appeared in the doorway wielding a squirt bottle and proceeded to spray Nifty in the face.
"We've been over this a thousand times Nifty! NO….GROPING….THE HELP!" He shouted at her as he continued to spray her.
She hissed in annoyance and let go of Gohan reluctantly, not wanting to be sprayed in the face anymore. Scurrying away she climbed on top a bookcase and stared down at the group.
Helping the boy up Husk sighed "Sorry about that kid, she's a clinger. Next time she latches onto you just spray her a couple times and she will run like hell.".
"Noted!" Gohan said accepting the cat's help standing. Husk didn't hang around long as he pulled out another bottle and retreated back behind the bar.
"So Charlie, do we have anything major to take care of today?" Gohan asked as he happily accepted a plate of food that Vaggie handed him.
Smiling as she sipped her coffee she nodded happily at him "Yes actually something really exciting dropped into my lap!".
Gohan was happy to hear some good news had finally graced her as he listened.
"Well normally dad has a meeting every year with the leader of the exterminators to talk about the oncoming year, but this today he asked me if I wanted to take it!" Charlie said excitedly.
Gohan almost choked on his food as he heard what she said "The leader of the exterminators!?".
"Well yeah and I wondering…would you mind coming with me to the embassy?" Charlie said with a hopeful look.
Rubbing the back of his head Gohan was a little reserved about the idea "Are you sure that's a good idea Charlie? I mean I did knock out a squad of them to protect the Carmines. What if they recognize me, won't that cause trouble?".
"Oh please, please, please Gohan!? Vaggie can't go because she has work to do here at the Hotel, and I'll feel more safe with at least one of you by my side." She begged giving him puppy dog eyes.
Gohan sighed as he looked into her big beautiful eyes "I...Suppose half of my job is to make sure you are protected from anything that could cause you harm. So I guess I really don't have a choice here.".
Charlie jumped in the air and hugged him "Score! This will be an amazing opportunity if I can pitch the Hotel right to Heaven itself! I'm going to go get my stuff ready for my presentation! Thanks again Gohan!" She finished by giving him a kiss on the cheek, before running back to their room.
Gohan blushed at her show of affection before looking at Vaggie.
"Sorry about this Gohan, but I don't think it's safe for me to show myself to…..that guy." Vaggie said suddenly scowling.
"Is this guy the same reason you're here in Hell?" Gohan asked suspiciously as Vaggie looked away from him.
"Yeah." She said simply not wanting to elaborate any further "Please keep her safe, I don't know what I'd do if something happens to her.".
Gohan gave her a salute as Charlie hopped down the stairs carrying an arm full of papers.
"I'm ready to go now!" She cheered ready to get the show on the road.
Vaggie walked over and kissed her on the lips as she saw her off "Alright sweety be safe, and don't take any shit from any of them!".
Charlie returned her affection and said "Don't worry, I have Gohan with me! That being said good luck with the Hotel while I'm gone!".
Gohan wished he had half of her optimism right now as he followed the girl out the door and down the street. Somehow he just knew that something was going to go wrong today.
-Streets of Pentagram City-
The two strolled together down the street with Charlie stopping every few moments to sing about how much she cared about her home, and people. He had to admit that her ecstatic attitude was really infectious as he smiled at her dancing around.
Twirling around him she ended her song while smiling at him widely "I have an amazing feeling about this meeting!".
"Do you really think that, meeting with their leader will really stop the exterminations?" Gohan asked trying to gauge her feelings on the matter.
"Of course! Why would they want to continue coming here every year, just to endanger their own lives?" Charlie asked trying to sound confident in her answer.
Gohan wished that it was as simple as that, but with his experiences in the past he knew that just because something would be much easier didn't mean that it would be the solution everyone would accept.
He could think of multiple times where evil beings in his life were given the choice to choose peace instead of violence, but choose to continue fighting to the end. Some people just didn't want happiness for everyone.
"I'm fully committed in your getting your idea to work Charlie, I just don't want you to be setting yourself up for failure." Gohan said hoping he she didn't think he was putting her down.
Charlie stopped walking as she looked at the boy beside her "You don't think that they will be willing to listen to my ideas?".
Sighing Gohan gave her a serious look "Charlie from what I saw on Extermination Day, I think some of them get some sort of sick kick from killing sinners. The ones I fought that night were sadistic in how they were trying to kill the Carmines. If I hadn't gotten there in time then they were have probably have been cut into pieces.".
Charlie bit her lip nervously "Surely not everyone in Heaven wants the damned souls to be eliminated!".
"I'm sure there is too Charlie, but we need to be careful or we will end up becoming their enemy number one." Gohan said placating her.
Charlie knew he was correct, even if it made her feel terrible "Well then I'm glad I have you for when things get bad. That's why dad pulled you here right?".
"It is, but I want you to be as safe as possible." Gohan said with a light blush on his face.
Charlie smiled and grabbed his hands in a cute manner "Ah you care about me!".
"Of course I do, you and Vaggie are important to me!" Gohan said missing Charlie's meaning.
Charlie giggled at him as she pulled him along "I'll keep that in mind.".
She hadn't given too much thought to the boy other than being an increasingly better friend to her. Giving him small glances as she pulled him along she started to really take in his features.
The outfit he was wearing really showed off how nice his muscles looked underneath his clothing. Not to mention both the horns and tail he was sporting made him look really exotic compared to most demon's she usually saw. To be honest she had to be impressed the her father grabbed such a looker, even if by human years he was considered a teen. Then again this was Hell so would it really matter in the long run?
Maybe after all this was over the three could sit down and do some couple activities to really get used to the idea of being together.
"What are you thinking about now?" Gohan asked as she pulled him along.
"Nothing just plans for the future!" She squeaked out before sporting a small blush herself.
They continued their walk in silence for a few blocks before coming up to the entrance of a building.
"Here we are!" Charlie said pointing at the building in front of them.
Looking up Gohan was surprised to see a large church like building, with a large hourglass at the top accented with a large glowing halo.
"Kinda right on the nose huh?" Gohan said throwing his arms behind his head.
Charlie laughed as she agreed with him "Definitely went for style points at least "Well we better get inside.".
The two filed into the building as they were met with a large into room.
"Hello? Heeellllooooo!?…..Creepy!" Charlie said walking around the room while Gohan stayed on his guard.
Noticing a small desk with a bell sitting on top of it Charlie quickly rang the bell hoping to get some assistance.
Moments later a flying golden parchment flew in from the ceiling and stopped in front of the two.
"Well that seems ominous." Gohan said confused at what this meant.
Reading the top of the paper Charlie realized that it was a sign-in sheet "I guess I just sign right here.".
After she had finished writing her name the list flew over to Gohan, who frowned at this "Are you sure I should sign this?".
Charlie shrugged at him "I don't think it will let you in if you don't. What the worst that could happen?".
Gohan sighed knowing that he had to do anything he could to protect her so without another thought about it, signed his name on the line.
Zipping back up into the air a door opened on their left that the two entered and looked around.
Gohan could feel two energies in the room and was about to inform Charlie when suddenly the light popped on.
"Sup!" Came a voice from behind a large conference table scaring Charlie as she fell to the ground.
Looking over to the source of the voice they could see an exterminator, and another large angel with a robe and rather large horns on his visor.
"Oh I'm Charlie Morningstar, my dad ask if I could meet with you!" Charlie spoke to him trying to sound friendly.
"Yeah I know." The large angel spoke simply uninterested in her introduction, while the other just scowled at them from behind her mask.
They then eyed Gohan with confusion as they weren't expecting someone else to be joining her on this mission.
"So what's his deal!?" The angel said as he continued to eat from a plate of ribs in front of him.
Gohan stayed silent not wanting to give too much away about himself.
Not wanting to put him on the spot, Charlie chose to answer for him "This is my Bodyguard/fiance Gohan.".
Getting up from his seat the angel walked over to Gohan before putting his hand out while laughing "Wow you are tapping that every night...Kudos my friend. Put her there!".
Looking down at the outstretched hand Gohan realized that something was off about where his energy was being located in contrast to where his body was now standing in front of him.
"You aren't actually here right now are you?" Gohan said giving him a blank look.
The angel shot him a dirty look before sitting back in his seat "How in the Hell did you know!? I had a whole bit planned where I was going to have you try to shake my hand and miss. And then I was going to offer you a rib just to have your hand go through the plate, and now it's ruined! Thanks for that!".
The female angel growled as she was clearly unhappy that there was an uninvited visitor to their meeting "What is he even doing here in the first place!? This meeting was for you, and you alone or are you not capable of following even of following even the simplest of directions just because of who your father is!?".
Gohan was instantly angry at the way this angel was speaking to Charlie as once again he felt something inside of him whisper thoughts of violence against the one who would dare threaten someone he cared about.
"It was my father's decision to make him my protector, so I don't think that it's any of your business." Charlie spoke with a matter of fact voice.
The angel seemed to not like her response before grabbing her sword and moving towards the girl. Gohan took this as a time to step in as he moved towards her with the full intent in protecting Charlie.
Suddenly the larger angel through up a time out signal with his hand before calling out "Alright, keep it civil people! Not supposed to start be any fighting at the neutral point!".
This seemed to pacify the sword wielding woman as she put away her weapon and grumbled as she moved back behind the table.
"Well sister gotta give you some props, your man was definitely ready to get fucked up just to keep you safe! The names Adam but you can call me the Dick Master. This little ball of sunshine behind me is Lute my first Lieutenant." The angel now know as Adam the first man spoke.
"Well Adam…" Charlie spoke was interrupted by Adam.
"Call me Dick Master!" Adam spoke with a dopey look on his screen.
Charlie ignored him as she continued to speak "Adam...I assume you know what I wanted to talk to you about?".
Adam thought for a moment before he answered in a bored tone "No idea babe.".
Gohan slapped a hand to his face as he was already sick of this guy's antics.
Charlie must have had the patience of a saints because she kept trying to be nice and pitch her plans "Well seeing as how you are the leader of the angels, I bet you super intelligent guy!".
"You words not mine babe." Adam agreed while gnawing on another rib.
"Well I bet you would really love to be your name on a revolutionary idea that would make you renowned!" Charlie said playing up the man's vanity.
Adam jumped up exited as she spoke, exited to be able to take credit for anything that would increase his standing "Fuck yeah, I love putting my name on shit, it's the fucking best!".
"Well I have the solution to our biggest problem!" Charlie said thinking she was getting through to him.
Adam looked at her knowingly before pointing to his face "Ah herpes, yeah that's a bitch!".
Gohan and Charlie looked at him with a disgusted look on their faces as Charlie spoke again "No….Our other biggest problem.".
Adam looked at them blankly before spouting out guesses "Ugly people? Math!? Global warming...Nah wait that's Earth's problem!".
For about five minutes Adam spouted off random things that he hated as he tried to win the guessing game that he had started.
Finally after hearing him continue to fail to reach the answer, Gohan groaned before yelling out "She's talking about the Extermination!".
The duo looked at Gohan before Adam laughed out "That's not a problem, we are doing a good job with that! In fact Lute, how many demons did you kill this year?".
"I got about a good two seventy-five this year sir!" She said proudly.
"Whoa two seventy-five!? Awesome job danger tits!" Adam exclaimed proudly before raising his hand for Lute to fist bump.
Charlie reared back as she couldn't believe they were happy about that "No not awesome, these are my people down there!".
Adam looked at here with a fake sad look before leaning in "Oh yeah...That must suck for you!" Before falling back into his chair laughing.
Gohan was really hating both Angel's right about now as they continued to make light of such a serious situation.
"But they are souls just like the ones you have up in heaven!" Charlie said trying to make them understand her plight.
Lute scowled again as she argued against Charlie's concern "They are not the same thing. The souls in Hell earned their damnation!".
"You are wrong! Sinner's made mistakes while they were living, but everyone makes mistakes!" Charlie said passionately. Gohan nodded in agreement as he could recall his friends back on earth that became friends with his father after starting as his enemy.
Lute leaned in close to Charlie's face before replying smugly "Angel's don't make mistakes!".
"You really think that don't you?" Charlie said not backing down from her.
"I know that!" Lute said as Adam agreed "Yeah I've never made a mistake in my fucking life!".
Gohan took this time to finally step in before letting his emotions get the better of him "Oh really!? Is that why everyone on Earth knows that you lost both wives to the same person!?".
Adam seethed in anger as Gohan called him out on two of his biggest failures while living "Oh you little shit stain!".
Lute suddenly realized something about his appearance before snapping at him "Wait a minute, small black horns and a monkey tail! Sir I'm certain this is the one that attacked one of our unit's down here!".
Adam suddenly looked at her in shock as he heard her "Are you certain this cocksucker is responsible!?".
Lute suddenly reading her sword again as she pointed it at the boy "I'm one hundred percent sure this is the guy!".
Gohan took up a defensive stance as he prepared for the woman to rush him but they both were stopped by Adam standing between them.
"Stand down Lute!" He said getting a confused look from the girl "I'm glad you shown yourself to us as this make this next part super easy!".
Taking out a parchment from inside of his robe he flashed it to both Charlie and Gohan.
"I may not be able to attack you both here, but I can ruin your day plenty" Adam said pointing at the paper "Thanks to you showing that demons are actively a threat, we have been authorized to shorten the grace period between the Exterminations. Ergo the time we come back down here for you little cunts will be in six months!".
Charlie eyes shot open in horror as she heard his decree "You can't do that!".
"It's already been done princess!" Adam shouted back as he grabbed her arm.
Realizing that he had swapped places with his image Gohan took the opportunity to throw a quick right hook at the Angel's face knocking him across the room, and releasing Charlie's hand in the process.
This shocked Lute as she ran to the side of her downed commander "Sir are you okay!?".
Gohan and Charlie stepped away from them as they realized this could be trouble.
After a few seconds they could hear the man groan as he slowly leaned his head up from his position on the ground. His visor now had a large crack over the side of it, and was causing the image of his face to distort.
"You little shit, do you realize how much that hurt!" He said in anger as energy began crackling around his fingers.
"I don't know, but it felt good to do it!" Gohan said surprising himself, and Charlie for that.
Adam suddenly lunged to his feet and was prepared to attack the boy before the sound of a phone went off.
"Shit I have to take this!" He said as he fumbled around in his pocket to grab his phone "Hello!".
Gohan did not drop his stance for a moment as he was prepared to battle the two at the same time.
Adam began shouting his phone as the sound of an angry voice came from the other side "What do you mean don't attack them!? That little fucker broke my mask and knocked my ass down!" The voice continued to get louder from the phone as Adam finally gave up "Alright fucking fine, we are on our way back!".
Staring at the two who were looking at him angrily he shot them both a bird as he looked back to Lute "Alright Danger tits we've been ordered to stand down!".
"Sir with all due respect, what the fuck! Are we just going to let them off with what they've done to you and that exterminator squad!" Lute screamed not happy with the situation.
"Do you wanna deal with an angry Seraphim for disobeying an order!?" Adam yelled back not wanting to leave by also not wanting to be held accountable.
Lute screamed in frustration before looking one last time to the boy "This isn't over freak! Don't think for a second that you will get away with what you've done!".
"Yeah what she said!" Adam said trying to save face before grabbing his head in pain.
Snapping his fingers they both disappeared in a flash of light, leaving Gohan and Charlie standing in the empty room.
Dropping his stance Gohan quickly moved over to inspect Charlie "Are you okay Charlie!?".
The woman gave him a sad look as she answered "I'm fine Gohan, he didn't hurt me thanks to you.".
Sighing loudly she dropped to her knees and sobbed "What are we going to do now though!? Six months give us no time to prepare, especially with everyone still rebuilding after this past extermination!".
Gohan honestly didn't know what he could tell her as he saw how upset she was. Choosing to sit beside her, he gently rubbed her back with one hand while he wrapped his other arm around her in a soothing hug.
"I should have listened to you before. What was I thinking that I could change their minds just like that?" She sobbed silently into him as he continued to hold her.
"No Charlie, you were doing the best you could to speak for your people. I'm honestly proud of you for standing up to them the way you did." Gohan said giving her a reassuring look.
Charlie looked at him with teary eyes happy to hear that at least someone was proud of her efforts "Do you really think so?".
"Yes I do. Now we just have to focus on how to change heaven's mind in the next six months!" He said hoping to pull her out of her sad mood.
The sentiment seemed to work as she wiped her eyes and thanked him "Thanks Gohan, I don't know what I would have done without you!".
Leaning over she gave him a quick peck on the cheek for cheering her up. They both sat in silence for a minute before realizing they needed to get back.
The two stood up and began walking over to the door before Charlie stopped and turned to him "Tonight...I want to learn more about you if that's okay?".
Feeling like he owed her at least that for all the trouble he caused the boy nodded "Of course Charlie, I'll tell you anything you wanna know.".
Smiling brightly at each other the two stepped out of the embassy and made their way back to the Hotel, not knowing that a camera had zoomed in on them.
-Back at the Hotel-
As the two made their way into the Hotel they were met by Vaggie who was excited to see them back.
"Charlie, Gohan how did it go did they listen!?" She called while hugging them both.
Charlie accepted the hug and then looked over to Gohan who just shrugged, letting her be the one to say something "Oh...They sure did...hear it".
"Great I want you two to come over here and see what we did today!" Vaggie said with pride as they all gathered around the couch with Alastor sitting in a chair by himself "We made a commercial while you both were gone, and Alastor pulled some strings to get it on air!".
"I pulled a few limbs too!" Alastor quipped laughing to himself.
"Wait a commercial? You all made a new one while we were gone?" Charlie asked happy that they all had worked together on something.
Angel Dust grinned as he sat on the ground in front of the couch "Yeah it was one of my better performances".
Gohan was having a hard time sitting down as he was fending off a wild Nifty who kept trying to jump into his lap. Thankfully husk who had been sitting nearby tossed him the spray bottle. Hissing lightly she retreated to the other side of the couch while still eyeing the boy.
Charlie however was tearing up "That is just so amazing!" before being hushed by Angel Dust as the commercial began to play.
The group all watched in silence as the fruits of their labor was shown for all of Hell to see.
-Vox Tower-
All the way across town a certain Overlord was staring at the his console before screaming out in anger
"Velvette!? Have you found anything yet!?" He called out to the room behind him where Velvette was still combing over security footage.
Said woman gave him an annoyed groan before yelling back "Thanks to your shitty camera's all I was able to find was a quick blur flying across the screen, and a bunch of angels being flattened into a pile!".
"My Cameras are great but they are not indestructible, keep looking! There has got to be something we are missing." Vox yelled as he was going over some of the more recent footage he had received.
Suddenly he came across the footage of Heaven's Embassy and noticed the princess herself walking in with an unknown male figure with a tail.
"Now just what in the Hell were you doing there princess, and who is your mystery friend?" He growled to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted by the sound of Velvette giving a triumphant squeal "Voxxie I found something!".
Jumping out of his chair, the Television demon quickly ran into the room where Velvette was to learn what she had found.
"Well what is it!?" He yelled impatiently wanting to quickly get to the bottom of this.
Velvette smirked before rewinding the last couple of second before the angels went flying "Well if you look closely right before the pigeons get knocked down, a blur flies across the screen.".
Vox watched her rewind the video a couple times but didn't see her point "Yeah and!?".
Velvette groaned and began to slow down the footage "Well Voxxie if you just down the footage a little bit you make out a part of our mystery assailant.".
She performed said action, and the both watch as just for a fraction of a second what looked like the back end of a person appeared, showing off what appeared to be a large furry tail.
"Bingo!" Vox yelled out excitedly "So we are just looking for some of those tailed freaks that showed up a couple years ago!".
Velvette smiled happy to be finally finished looking through camera footage "Exactly, we can get some of our boys to tract a few of them down for questioning.".
"I'd hold off on the for the time being, Velvette. The last time our boys tussled with that one freak with the long hair, he sent them back to us in assorted bags." Vox said not wanting to be too hasty.
"Well what are going to do, just wait to one of them slips up and makes themselves vulnerable!?." Velvette asked not happy with just doing nothing.
Scratching his non-existent chin Vox thought for a minute before walking back to his console with Velvette right behind him.
Staring up at his screen, Vox realized that the shape and size of the boys body, and tail matched that of the angel attack.
"Well Velvette I think we might have our best lead on where this guy might be." Vox said cackling to himself.
Looking up at the screen Velvette groaned "Is that the bloody princess?".
"Sure is…Looks like she had some business at the Embassy, if you look closely she brought a little friend." Vox spoke grinning to himself.
Velvette looked closely at the boy and was surprised to see his tail "I've never seen that guy before, who is he?".
"That my dear Velvette, is what I intend to find out soon!" Vox said staring at the boy with intent.
-Back at the Hotel-
The group had just gathered around the television to see how well their commercial came together, when three second after it started it was interrupted by a breaking news bulletin.
Every one in the roomed (minus Alastor) groaned in anger as the faces of Katie Killjoy and Tom Trench filled the screen.
"Breaking news in Hell today!" Katie began "We have just received word from the Heaven Embassy that the next extermination is happening sooner than ever before! Do you know what that means Tom!?".
He co-host happily answered "No what does that mean Katie!?".
"It means we are all royally fucked!" Katie yelled with a twitching eye as the camera cut to the embassy. The hourglass began falling as a timer spun at the top of the glass.
"Wait, what, why!?" Angel Dust yelled out not happy about this, as Gohan and Charlie shared a look.
-Heaven-
Adam and Lute were sitting in a dark room back in Heaven going over some footage that a drone had captured.
Shining over the battle field where the angels attacked Gohan, the headless body of an angel was shown through the lenses.
"We did it sir, we have found the body!" Lute said pacing back and forth "We should go down there right now and slaughter all of them for this!".
Adam held a hand up to silence her as he said "Now, now we can't risk them catching on. But don't worry the next time we go down, there won't be a demon left alive to pull a stunt like this!".
"What about the boy sir!? Surely you aren't going to let him just walk away without any form of payback for what he has done!" Lute said not ready to put the issue to rest.
Grinning Adam pulled the parchment that Charlie had signed "Don't worry Lutester, we have his name now! We are going to go through his entire history until we find out just who exactly this guy is!".
Slamming his fist down on the table Adam broke the projector as his face was left illuminated in the dark.

I bet no one expected a third chapter in one week! I've been in a writing mood lately so I've been spending as much time as I can to bust out these chapters. The next Chapter will begin with Gohan telling Vaggie and Charlie about his life, and the introduction of Sir Pentious to the Hotel. It might be a little shorter than the other chapters but it's more of a moving things along type of thing. Don't worry though I'll be shaking things up pretty soon so just bear with me a little longer.
