It could be said that the same day he started ninja academy was his last, as the years he spent within it were nothing but a waste in his opinion. The program they were supposed to teach to all aspiring shinobi of the village was, in the best of words, deficient. It was well known throughout the continent that the Village Hidden in the Leaves was the strongest, maintaining its power since its foundation.

Producing ninja of such caliber as those from the first Hokage to the current one, who held the position as the Fourth Shadow of Fire. However, the point of all this was that the shinobi of previous generations grew up in a time of war, while his generation was in one of relative peace, lowering the standards to become shinobi to the point where the stupidest villager who knew the history of their village was considered intelligent.

Something he wasn't against, but it only took having two brain cells to know that from a young age, as he knew being privileged from birth. But even without being privileged, such information was completely public in the village's public library, and if you were too lazy to read, there was the option of asking the village's veteran shinobi, even the retired ones. But he couldn't expect too much from them either.

Human beings by nature were stupid, ignorant, and manipulable from beginning to end. The simple saying that the winners wrote history was true, as Konoha maintained power over the other villages. The high ranks who did nothing to help in the war simply told the herd that their heroes protected them from the other villages that wanted to see them destroyed. Something so simple to say but so difficult to see for the idiotic villagers who adored it.

Adoration, respect, techniques, even wealth, he had it all in his hands, delivered on a silver platter by those whom his father said he should protect in the future when he became a powerful ninja. Something he never found sense in, as why should he protect such stupid ants that couldn't even protect themselves? They would always have to rely on someone else to save them, and since the foundation of the Leaf, it had always been that way.

In the first ninja war, they turned to the strongest at the time, who was the first Hokage Hashirama Senju with his Wood Release, wiping out many legions of foreign ninja who wanted to destroy the Leaf to prove their power but failing miserably, ending in a ceasefire from all villages as they distributed all the biju. Something too stupid if you asked him, but it was already something from the past that couldn't be changed, just like the other events such as the second and third ninja wars.

The only similarity being that on both occasions, the weak turned to the strongest to be saved, something he didn't really care about; the idiots were responsible for creating such conflicts that affected everyone around them, something he didn't plan to be a part of. Of course, he was well aware that within the village's shinobi program, his participation in the academy wouldn't go unnoticed by the teachers or the high ranks, just like his talents in the Shinobi arts.

If it was already public knowledge in the village that he was the Hokage's son along with his jinchuriki brothers, it didn't go unnoticed that since a young age, his ninja skills were exceptional, being named by many as the genius of the golden generation. In this new generation of ninja coming out of the academy, most were heirs of the village's main clans such as Aburame, Akimichi, Inuzuka, Nara, Yamanaka, Hyuga, Uchiha, and finally, those to which he and his brothers belonged, Uzumaki/Namikaze.

Speaking of his brothers, the annoying blondes with whom he shared blood relations were tolerable at best nowadays, as since they entered the academy, they bothered him all the time, not leaving him alone for a moment, even though they had a tremendous amount of chakra for their age and excelled in taijutsu, they were empty-headed in the theoretical area, which wasn't something practical, something that the last Uchiha made sure to remind them of every time they could in every test the teachers gave.

Something that in his mind was just a nuisance, as between the competitions among his brothers and the depressive Uchiha, he always ended up being the prize for the winner, more towards the females than the males, something his godfather always told him to take advantage of or to accompany him on his future investigations. Among the population of Konoha, his persona had a natural charm to attract attention, something he took advantage of to get what he wanted, but back to the point.

The years he had to spend in the academy with his brothers were more his father's decision than his own, as for his teachers, it was more than demonstrated that his prodigious abilities in the shinobi field were already at a low chunin level when he passed the first year within the academy, something that had only been seen in the prodigies of previous generations such as Itachi Uchiha, Kakashi Hatake, and Namikaze Minato themselves were the prodigies of their generation, now it was his turn to be the prodigy of his, standing out as they did once.

But that was something he had known since he was younger; now it wouldn't take much importance because today he would finally graduate from the ninja academy he had been trapped in for six years because of the blonde idiots he had as brothers; they would also graduate today, getting up early to receive their ninja headband as soon as possible. On his part, he took his time leaving the house a few minutes after them, walking through the village calmly because he had no hurry to reach the annoying brats who surely on their first mission outside the village would already be dead.

However, in the middle of his walk, ignoring the brown-nosers, something caught his attention: a strange smell he had never felt before, strange because as an Inuzuka, his sense of smell was highly developed, being able to differentiate people by their smells when he couldn't see them, but this particular smell was a curious one that he had never felt before, so he diverted his path towards a particular direction.

Walking for a few minutes through the village following the smell that caught his attention, digging in an open field, to be more specific, the third training ground of the village. The most outstanding thing was the lake on his left next to the wooden posts in the center of the field, but that wasn't why he had come, but rather for the peculiar smell that was impregnated in the area. Walking towards where the smell was more concentrated led him to a scene that he could only describe as curious in front of his eyes.

Because in front of him was what looked like the body of a headless chicken dancing in front of a puddle of water in which it could see its reflection. It did this for a few more seconds until it noticed his presence, turning around to look at him, staying silent for a few moments until it jumped, raising its right wing.

Curious was the only thing he could think of as he saw it with his own eyes because it was the first time he had seen something like that: a headless corpse speaking like a person. Of course, he had seen summons that could speak like Kakashi's dogs, but the creature in front of him wasn't one of those because it couldn't do so without any chakra from it, and it was vital for a living being to have at least a tiny bit of chakra according to natural laws, but whatever that thing was, it was clearly exempt from this rule.

By mere reflex, he extended his hand forward, closing it almost completely into a fist, leaving only the index and thumb fingers stretched out, pointing towards the headless chicken, which he was sure was looking at him strangely even without a head, but that didn't matter to him. The only thing that came to his mind was a simple phrase expressed in a single sentence.

Naruto: Bang...

As quickly as that phrase came out of his lips, the headless chicken exploded in front of him, remaining unmoved as it took a tree behind it by the force exerted in that explosion. He watched as a slight vapor came out from the tip of his index finger as proof that whatever he had done had immediately killed the headless chicken.

Where the explosion took place, he resumed the path back to his original destination, which was the academy, regardless of the fact that he had brutally taken the life of whatever that thing was. His curiosity had been satisfied, so he had no reason to stay in that place. The entire journey back had been in complete tranquility without anything else catching his attention.

Unbeknownst to him, yellowish eyes were watching him, seeing every move he made until he entered the academy, getting lost in it. The observer stayed a few more seconds watching where he entered until he looked away from the building, starting to walk through the streets of Konoha, blending into the crowd of villagers.

And thus ends the chapter.
