It had been four years since the summer where Naruto and his friends had been sent to the Digital World and had all been paired up with their own Digimon partners and saved both worlds from being taken over by an evil Digimon.
Naruto was now sixteen years old and a new sophomore in high-school, along with the other Digidestined in his age group.
He was currently in his room, getting ready for school.
"Hey, brat! Hurry up already! I'm taking breakfast off the table in five minutes!" Naruto's mother Kushina yelled for the entire apartment to hear.
"Yea yea, I'm coming" Naruto said with a sigh, as he put his coat and backpack on, before he left his room.
He walked towards where his father and sister were sitting at the dining table.
His sister Himawari was now a pre teen girl of 12, who was wearing some loose jeans and was wearing a loose fitting shirt, while her hair now reached the middle of her back.
"What took you so long, bro? Were you trying to make yourself look nice for the cheerleader?" Himawari asked Naruto with a teasing smirk, as she looked up from her phone.
"Not really a point to that, seeing as we can only Skype or talk over the phone" Naruto said, as he frowned slightly.
Two years back, Mimi's family had moved to the United States and despite Mimi throwing a big fit, she had to move with her family. Though from what Naruto had heard, she didn't talk to her father for six months after the move.
"Bah! You're better off brat! I'm sure that you could find a girl just as good at your school" Kushina said, as she walked over towards the table, carrying a plate of pancakes for her family.
"Eh, the fact the cheerleader has been calling every day for two years and hasn't wavered at all, shows she's got some loyalty, Kaa San" Himawari said, as she shrugged and went back to her phone
Kushina grumbled at this but said nothing, as she knew her daughter had a point
"Sweetie, you know the rules, no phone while at the table" Minato said, as he looked over from the newspaper he was reading.
Himawari sighed at this, as she put her phone down, as Kushina loaded her plate with pancakes.
As Kushina went to give Naruto his pancakes, Himawari's phone rang.
Before Himawari could grab her phone, Kushina quickly grabbed it, and…
"Oh my God. I looked in the mirror and I'm getting boobs!" Kushina yelled into the phone with an exaggerated teenage girl imitation, as she put the phone on speaker.
{"Uh…..hi, Miss Uzumaki"} a young male voice said on the other end.
Naruto snorted at this, stifling his laughter as Himawari's face went red, as they both recognized who this was.
"Oh, hey TK. So, you have my little girl's number, eh?" Kushina asked with an evil grin, as she looked at Himawari.
"Kaa san, I swear I will go to war with you!" Himawari yelled, as she stood up and attempted to take her phone back.
"Oh? You think you can take me on, brat?! I'll gladly embarrass you in front of your little boyfriend, any time!" Kushina yelled, as she kept her phone out of her daughter's reach.
"Honey, you embarrassed her enough, for having her phone on at the table" Minato said, as he put his newspaper down and pulled his plate of pancakes close.
"Oh, fine. To be continued….for now. So don't get comfortable with my daughter, TK!" Kushina yelled into the phone, before she hung up and threw the phone at Himawari, which she caught.
Himawari growled at this as she put her phone on silent, before she started to eat her pancakes, while ignoring her brother's snickering.

Later on, Naruto and Himawari were walking down the street, on their way to school.
"You know that you don't have to escort me to school, bro," Himawari said as she looked at Naruto, while she kept her hands behind her head.
"True, but the middle school is next door to the high school, sis. Plus, I'm more protecting others from you" Naruto said, as he gave his sister a look.
"Oh please, those street punks had it coming, trying to extort me and Kari for money" Himawari said, as she grumbled.
"You put all three of them in the hospital, after knocking some of their teeth out," Naruto said, as he sighed at his sister's antics.
"Bah!" Himawari said, as she rolled her eyes at this.
The two siblings soon arrived at the school, which was very big, with one side of the campus having the middle school and the other side the high school.
Naruto paused, as he spotted a teen girl with orange reddish hair nearby, watching the high school soccer team practice on the field nearby. This was Sora, Naruto and Himawari's cousin and a fellow digidestined
"Hey cuz! You spying on your man, making sure he's not eyeing some of the cheerleaders?" Himawari asked with a snicker, as she and Naruto approached.
Sora sighed at this, as she turned to look at them. "No Hima, we all know Tai isn't that kind of guy" Sora said, as she pointed at one of the soccer players, who had spiky brown hair with a pair of goggles on his head this was Tai one of their fellow digidestined and Soras Boyfriend
"Plus, he knows at this point if you're dating a female Uzumaki, then even looking at another girl is hazardous" Naruto said with a chuckle, as he waved in greeting at Sora.
"Well, duh. Goggles knows better after the hairpin incident" Himawari said with a smirk, getting a laugh from Naruto.
"Oh please, that was years ago. Besides, I'm much more mature now" Sora said, as she scoffed and shook her head at this.
"A cheerleader just winked at goggles" Himawari said with a flat tone.
"Which one?! I am not above burying a body, you harlots!" Sora yelled, as she looked at the soccer field, more specifically the cheerleaders, who all quickly ran off upon hearing this.
"Relax cuz, Himawari was just lying," Naruto said, as he patted Sora on the shoulder.
Sora blinked at this, before she turned her head and glared at Himawari.
"Hey look, there's Kari and TK. And with that, I'm off to class, bye" Himawari said with a grin, as she ran off towards her friends, who were walking towards the middle school.
"Come on cuz, let's get to class. You can ogle at Tai and scare off other girls later" Naruto said with a chuckle, as he pulled Sora away from the soccer field, as practice ended.
As practice ended, Tai paused as a boy with short brown hair ran up to him, with a laptop bag slung over his shoulder. This was Izzy, a fellow Digidestined.
"What's up Izzy?" Tai asked his friend curiously.
"We have a problem. Quick, follow me to the computer lab" Izzy said, as he led Tai to said computer lab, which both the high schoolers and middle schoolers shared.

Himawari walked into her new classroom and smiled seeing that Kari and TK were in the same class as her, but paused and narrowed her eyes slightly, as she spotted something she didn't like.
And said thing was who was sitting behind Kari.
It was a boy with maroon coloured hair that was slightly spiky, with square goggles on his head. This was Davis and currently, he was watching Kari with a smile on his face.
Himawari quickly made her way over to where Davis was sitting and slammed her hand on his desk, making him snap out of watching Kari. "Hey, didn't I tell you that I was gonna shove something somewhere very uncomfortable if you kept leering at my best friend, Davy?" Himawari asked with a glare.
"That's not my name, Uzumaki," Davis said with an annoyed tone of voice at the youngest Uzumaki.
Kari sighed at this, before she looked at her best friend. "Hima, I told you to leave Davis alone. He's harmless" she said with a firm tone, before she smiled at Davis.
Davis blushed a little at this, before he rubbed the back of his head and chuckled nervously.
Himawari grumbled at this, as she went to sit at her desk, but she made an 'I'm watching you' motion at Davis, as Kari turned to look at the teacher, who had just entered the classroom.
Davis slightly sweatdropped at this, but tried to ignore this, as class started

Later after school finished, Naruto was leaving class, but was stopped from leaving by Sora blocking his path.
"What's up cuz?" Naruto asked, as he raised his eyebrow at her.
"Tai skipped his last couple classes, and I just got grilled by our teachers, to see if I knew where he was," Sora said.
"Huh. Well, the last I saw him, he was heading for the computer lab with Izzy" Naruto said, as he found this odd.
"Great, then let's go" Sora said, as she grabbed Naruto's hand and dragged him towards the main building, where the computer lab was.
As they both headed for the computer lab, they were spotted by Himawari, TK and Kari.
"Huh, I wonder what's got them so jumpy" TK said, as he frowned at this.
"Well, my day is free, so let's go find out" Himawari said with a smile, as she moved to follow after them.
"I'm right behind you" Kari said, as she and TK followed after her, unaware that they were being followed by Davis.
(In the computer lab)
Inside the computer lab, Izzy was sitting in front of a computer, where there was what looked like a strange gate on the screen.
"Why won't it open? It opened for Tai" Izzy said, as he frowned as he typed at the keyboard, trying to find some way to open the gate.
"What won't open?" Naruto asked, as he entered the lab with Sora.
"Gah! Don't do that!" Izzy yelled, as he jumped in his seat.
"Don't do what?" Himawari asked, as she walked into the computer lab with Kari and TK.
"That!" Izzy yelled, as he patted his chest.
Naruto and Himawari both snickered slightly at this, while TK and Kari sighed at this.
"As funny as this is, where is Tai, Izzy? He missed the last few classes and he was last seen with you" Sora said, as she gave Izzy a look that said she expected an answer or there would be consequences.
"Tai is in the Digital World -" Izzy was saying, before he was cut off.
"Say what?!?!" Naruto and Himawari yelled together.
"Why haven't you gone in after him?" Sora yelled out, as she grabbed Izzy's shoulders and began shaking him.
"I couldn't, because the gate is closed" Izzy said, as he got Sora's hands off his shoulders and gestured at the closed gate on the computer screen.
"Tai is missing? What's the Digital World? Is it some kind of new video game?" Davis asked, as he poked his head into the room.
This got a groan from Himawari, as everyone else looked at the new arrival.
"You don't know about the Digital World?" TK asked curiously.
"It was all over the news, Davis, about 4 years ago" Kari said, as she held up her Digivice.
"……oh, right! That whole thing with you guys fighting that vampire freak!" Davis said with a sheepish chuckle, as he rubbed the back of his head.
Naruto's eyes widened at this, as he thought back to when he was infiltrating Myotismon's base, where the human prisoners were and how one of the captured kids had made a good distraction and helped get Kari's tag and crest. "I remember you! You helped me get Kari's tag and crest four years ago" Naruto said with a smile at Davis.
"Wait, Davy was the idiot you said actually helped you?" Himawari asked, raising an eyebrow at this, as she wasn't there four years ago to see this.
"Oh, hey Naruto - oi! I'm not an idiot!" Davis yelled, smiling at Naruto, before he yelled at Himawari after catching what she called him.
"Humph, you could've fooled me," Himawari said.
"I helped you guys 4 years ago!" Davis yelled, as he clenched his fists tightly.
"Any idiot with a death wish could have done that," Himawari said with a scoff.
"What's going on in there?" a female voice asked, as two new figures entered the computer lab.
One of them was a young girl, who was in Kari's age group. She had purple hair with a bandana on her head while wearing glasses. This was Yolei.
The other was a young boy, who had brown hair in a bowl cut. This was Cody.
"Oh, hey Yolei. Hey Cody" Kari said, as she waved at the two new arrivals, along with TK.
"You know these two?" Himawari asked TK curiously.
"They are Kari's new neighbours," TK said as he shrugged.
"OK, the lab is getting crowded. How about we all clear the room, while Izzy tries to finish tutoring these guys?" Sora asked, as she moved and pushed Yolei and Cody out of the lab.
"OK, now that we have an opening, let's get this gate open and go help Tai," Naruto said, as he looked at Izzy.
"Like I said, the gate is closed. So we can't do anything" Izzy said, as he shook his head.
Suddenly, the computer screen fizzled and light came out of it, before splitting into three lights, which were blue, red and yellow. The blue slammed into Davis, while the red and yellow flew out the door of the lab.
"What the heck is this?!" Davis asked, as he held up his hand, showing a new Digivice. It was slightly larger and more oblong along with being less ornate then the others, and has a longer antenna. It had two coloured grips along its lower sides, with a set of four buttons. On its back is a clip, so that it can be worn on someone's belt or bag.
"Oh, you better be kidding me" Himawari said, as she groaned at this, knowing what this meant.
"Looks like we have a new recruit," Naruto said with a smile at Davis.
"Eh?" Davis asked, as he looked at them in confusion.
"It looks like you're digidestined, just like us," Kari said with a smile at Davis.
"Really? Cool! Where do I get my Digimon?" Davis asked with a smile at this.
"Now hold on! We still can't go to the Digital World, cause the gate is -" Izzy was saying, before he was cut off.
"Hey brainiac, the gates open" Himawari said, as she pointed at the gate on the computer screen.
"Huh? But how?" Izzy asked, as he looked at the screen.
"I don't care, we are going in to save my brother" Kari said, as she held up her Digivicem which caused the computer screen to glow and her to disappear into it.
"I'm right behind you, bestie!" Himawari said with a grin, as she held up her Digivice and in a flash, she too was gone.
"Hey, wait for me!" TK yelled, as he followed after them.
Naruto smiled as he held up his Digivice and in a flash, he was gone as well.
"Hey! Don't leave me behind!" Davis yelled, as he held up his own Digivice and followed after them.
Izzy held up his Digivice, but before he could follow after them…..
"What's going on in here?!" Yolei yelled, as she opened the door and came inside, with Cody and Sora close behind her.
"Gah! Nothing! Ahahahahah!" Izzy yelled, as he quickly hid his Digivice behind his back and laughed nervously.
"Don't give me that! I remember what happened four years ago and that incident with Diaboromon! So fess up!" Yolei yelled, as she glared at Izzy and pointed at him.
Izzy groaned at this, but after a few moments, he composed himself. "Look you two, this is digidestined business and we can't involve you," he said firmly.
"Oh, is that a fact?" Yolei asked, before she held up what looked like a Digivice, that looked like the one Davis had gotten, only it was red.
Cody held up a Digivice too, only his was yellow.
"Eh?!?!" Izzy yelled in surprise at this revelation.
"Yeah, it surprised me too," Sora said with a nod.
"I'm not familiar with this Digimon stuff. Can someone please explain?" Cody asked curiously.
Izzy and Sora sighed at this, as they both decided to give an explanation to the young boy.
(In the Digital World)
Everyone was in what looked like a forest now, with what looked like a TV behind them.
"Ah, the Digital World. How I missed you!" Himawari said with a grin, as she took a deep breath.
"Yea, it's great to be back" TK said, as he smiled at this.
"I wonder if Gatomon is nearby" Kari said, as she looked around
"Hey, it's not so different here. We've got one of those at home, too" Davis said with a grin, as he pointed at a soda machine nearby.
"Uh, I wouldn't do that" Naruto said, as the new digidestined ran over to the machine.
"Why, I'm thirsty. Do any of you have some money?" Davis asked, as he tapped on one of the buttons.
Suddenly, a load of Numemon came out of the machine.
"Gahahahaha! You fell for it!" one of the Numemon yelled with a laugh, as Davis fell back with a yell.
"Halt!" Naruto yelled out at this, as he approached.
This caused the Numemon to pause and look at Naruto curiously.
"Eh? You look familiar, blonde" one of the Numemon said, as he tilted his head to the side.
"I should. You guys used to call me bro" Naruto said with a smirk, as he crossed his arms.
"Eh?!" the Numemon all yelled in shock, as they all jumped backwards and slammed into the vending machine, knocking it over.
"Nice to see you guys haven't changed. Have you guys been ok -" Naruto was saying, before he was tackled by the Numemon.
"Our honorary brother has returned!" one of the Numemon yelled out, getting cheers from the other Numemon, as they picked up Naruto and started to toss him into the air.
"What the heck are these guys, and why are they so happy to see Naruto senpai?" Davis asked, as he stood up.
"These are Digimon, Numemon if you care to know," Kari said with a grin.
"We visited this place 4 years ago. There are many different types of Digimon here. From nice and cute ones to dangerous and ugly ones" TK said.
"As for why they like big bro, he helped them out back in the day and they made him an honorary brother," Himawari said with a chuckle, as the Numemon continued to toss Naruto into the air in celebration.
Davis gulped slightly at this. "I really hope that we don't meet any bad ones" he thought to himself.
"OK you guys. As happy as I am to see you, we're here on business" Naruto yelled, as the Numemon stopped tossing him into the air.
"Yea, we're looking for my brother, Tai," Kari said as she approached them.
"Eh? There's another human here?" one of the Numemon asked, as he tilted his head to the side at this.
"Sorry, we have been hiding all day in the vending machines from the Digimon Emperor's minions," another Numemon said.
"Uh, the Digimon what?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow at this.
"Great, a new Digimon for us to curb stomp," Himawari said, as she punched her palm and smiled madly.
"It's not a Digimon, it's a human" one of the Numemon said, as he shook his head.
"Say what?!" Naruto and Himawari yelled together, shocked at this revelation
"Is that a big deal? I mean, we're here" Davis said, as he didn't see the big deal.
"You need a Digivice and to be a digidestined to enter the Digital World. So if a human is here causing problems, then he's most likely one of us" TK said as he frowned.
"Yea, and he's using Dark Rings to control Digimon into being his servants" the Numemon leader said, getting looks of surprise from the humans.
"Say what?! I swear, if he has Labramon, I'm gonna gut him and choke him with his own intestines!" Himawari yelled, as she gained a look of rage on her face.
"OK, we should find Tai right away, and then try to find our partners. You guys should go back to hiding and try to stay out of sight" Naruto said, as he looked at the Numemon.
"You got it bro!" the Numemon said as they all saluted Naruto, before they all ran over to the vending machine and quickly climbed into it and closed themselves up in it.
"So how are we gonna find Tai?" Davis asked, as they started to walk into the forest.
"Easy Davy. Our Digivices can track other Digivices, so we can easily find goggles" Himawari said, as she held out her Digivice, which showed what looked like beeping dots on it.
"Looks like there is one nearby," Naruto said, as he looked at his own Digivice.
"That must be Tai!" Kari yelled, as she ran ahead of them.
"Kari, don't go off alone!" Davis yelled, as he ran after her.
"And how are you gonna protect her, Davy? You don't even have a Digimon yet!" Himawari yelled, as she ran after them.
"Yeah, well, neither do you! And don't call me Davy, you maniac!" Davis yelled.
"I have been tested, you moronic sap!" Himawari yelled loudly
Naruto and TK sighed at this, as they followed after them.
Soon, they arrived at a small hill and when they looked over it, they saw Tai passed out on the ground, while what looked like Agumon was standing nearby.
"Tai! He's being attacked!" Davis yelled, as he quickly ran down the hill towards Tai and Agumon.
"Davis, wait!" Naruto yelled, as the rest of them quickly ran after him.
"OK lizard boy, back off or I'm gonna clock ya!" Davis yelled, as he grabbed a tree branch before swinging it at Agumon.
"Hey! Watch it! Tai is trying to rest, after he got tired from touching that weird egg!" Agumon yelled, as he ducked under Davis' swing.
"Like I'm gonna believe that, you - yow!" Davis was saying, before Himawari slugged him hard on the top of the head, making him drop his tree branch and grab his head in pain.
"That's Tai's Digimon partner, you dolt!" Himawari yelled, as she held her fist at the ready.
"Oh, hey guys!" Agumon said with a smile, as he waved at the others as they approached.
"Hey dino boy. Where's the rest of our Digimon?" Himawari asked.
"You're in luck. Gatomon, Patamon impmon and Labramon are inside the cave, keeping watch" Agumon said with a smile, as he pointed at a cave nearby.
Everyone smiled at this, as they approached the cave.
"Hey guys! Good news!" Agumon yelled into the cave.
"Did goggles wake up yet? Cause I need to grill him for failing to pick up that egg!" Impmon's voice yelled from inside the cave.
"Have you brought food? Cause I'm starving!" Labramon's voice yelled from inside the cave.
"It's something better," Agumon said with a smile at the others as Impmon, Labramon, Patamon and Gatomon came out of the cave.
"What could be better than - Himawari!" Labramon was saying, before she saw her partner and ran over to her.
"There's my partner. How've you been?" Himawari asked, as she hugged her partner with a smile.
"We have been better," Impmon said with a scowl.
"Yea. That Digimon Emperor has been making things pretty rough" Patamom said, as he landed on TK's head.
"Yea, one of his minions blasted me and caused me to lose my tail healing ring" Gatomon said as she frowned, as she waved her tail in the air.
"What about the rest? Where are they?" Kari asked, as she picked up Gatomon.
"They are fine. They are in other areas, trying to help out other Digimon avoid the Digimon Emperor's minions" Labramon said.
"Well, that's easy. Just Digivolve and beat them up" Himawari said, as she punched her fist forward.
"You think I wouldn't have tried that if I could? That punk has this dark Digivice, that drains us of our energy, so we can't Digivolve" Impmon said with a growl.
"Then how will we defeat the Digimon Emperor, if you can't digivolve?" Davis asked.
The Digimon all shrugged at this, having no idea.
"Just great, a coward," Naruto said with a scowl, as he didn't like an unfair fight.
"That's an apt description. The Digimon Emperor has been enslaving any Digimon he can find with his Dark Rings and he won't even let us fight him" Gatomon said.
"That's unforgivable. I would like to lock him up and throw away the key. Lets see how he likes it" Kari said with a look of anger on her face.
"Ugh, what happened?" Tai groaned, as he woke up and held his head.
"Oh, nothing much. You just passed out like a wuss, after you failed to pick up that egg" Impmon said with a flat tone of voice.
Tai groaned at this, as he stood up and took note of the others being here. "Oh, hey guys. I'm guessing Sora sent you after me?" he asked with a chuckle.
"Yep. She's pissed that you missed your classes, and that the teachers were grilling her for info on where you were" Naruto said.
"So have your helmet ready, goggles" Himawari said with a grin at this.
"And an athletic cup" Davis said with a wince, as he knew how Sora got when upset.
"Davis? What are you doing here?" Tai asked, as he stood up and dusted himself off.
"Get this; this blue light shot out of the computer and picked him as a new digidestined" Naruto said with a grin, as he patted Davis on the shoulder.
"Hey, that's the light I saw after I touched that egg, before I passed out. What about the red and yellow lights?" Tai exclaimed.
"Those took off, so they probably went and found some new digidestined. Hopefully someone competent" Himawari said with a flat tone, as she looked at Davis.
"Hey! I'm plenty competent!" Davis yelled, as he gave Himawari a dirty look.
"OK, before you start a fight you can't win, let's all calm down and try to figure out what happened with Tai" TK said, as he grabbed Davis' shoulder.
"Yea, what is this egg?" Kari asked, as she looked at Tai with a cocked eyebrow.
"Follow us, it's in here" Patamon said, as he took off from TK's head and flew into the cave, leading them inside.
They soon came into a room and in the middle of the room stood a pedestal, where what looked like a red egg with the crest of courage on it. It also had a blade sticking out of the top of it, along with some flames on it.
"Wow, who laid that?" Davis asked with wide eyes.
"It's a Digi-egg," Kari said, as she approached the egg to take a look.
"That's what I thought it was too. But when I tried to lift it, it wouldn't move, before it flashed and fired those coloured lights" Tai said as he sighed.
"Well, maybe one of us can lift it," Naruto said, as he looked at the egg.
"I'll try it!" Davis said with a smile, as he approached the egg, ready to try and help.
"Oh, this should be good. Everyone stand back, the moronic newbie is about to make another great move" Himawari said, as she took out her phone to record this.
"I missed you so much, Hima" Labramon said, as she smiled at her partner's snarky attitude.
Davis ignored this, before grabbing the Digi-egg and pulling on it hard. After a few seconds, the egg moved, making him fall back on his butt.
"Ha! I did it! Take that, you smart mouth battle axe!" Davis yelled with a grin of victory at Himawari.
"Who you calling a battle axe, you mother -" Himawari was yelling, before she was cut off, as what looked like a blue pillar of light shot out of the spot where the Digi-egg had been sitting.
"What the heck is that?!" Davis yelled, as he pointed at the pillar of light.
"No idea, but stay alert" Tai said, as he and Agumon stood at the ready.
"Hey, something is coming out of it," Naruto said, as what looked like a figure started to form in the pillar of light.
Said figure was what looked like a small dragon Digimon. It was blue with a white belly and face, with a small horn and a yellow 'v' shape mark on its forehead.
"Alright! I'm free! It has been an eternity that someone comes to help me get out" the Digimon yelled happily, as he jumped out of the pillar and started to jump around Davis happily.
"I have heard of this Digimon. That's Veemon, he's supposed to be a lucky Digimon, but I thought he was just a legend" Agumon said, as he looked at Tai.
"Well, it looks like you have found your partner Davis," Naruto said with a smile.
"That's correct! He moved the Digi-egg of Courage, so that means we're partners for life! The names Veemon. It's nice to meet ya, Davis!" Veemon said with a smile, as he held out his hand to Davis for him to shake
"Uh, hi" Davis said, as he grabbed Veemon's hand and shook it.
Suddenly, the cave started to shake and suddenly, something burst through the wall.
"Um, is that another one of your old friends?" Davis asked, as he pointed at a hole in the mountain, where what looked like a dinosaur Digimon was. It had black armour and grey skin, with a large horn and boney frills that extended from the armour on its face, which was glaring down at them with red eyes.
"It's a Monochromon and it's one of the Digimon Emperor's slaves!" Gatomon yelled, as she pointed at the Dark Ring around the Monochromon's belly.
"Pepper Breath! Agumon yelled, as he fired a blast of fire from his mouth.
"Boom Bubble!" Patamon yelled, as he fired an air bubble.
"Inferno Funnel!" Impmon yelled, as he threw some fireballs at the Monochromon.
"Quick, everyone out the back!" Tai yelled, as he led the way out.
Everyone quickly ran out of the cave, while the Digimon besides Veemon stayed behind.
"You think you can get past me?! Just try it, dino boy!" Labramon yelled, as she snarled and bared her fangs at Monochromon.
"Looks like Labramon is still as nuts as you, I see" Naruto said to his sister, as they ran.
"Is she on a watch list too?" Davis asked with a smirk.
"Gahahahahah!" Naruto burst out laughing at this, while Himawari growled at this.
"I'm on a list, cause I beat up those street punks, for trying to take kids' money!" Himawari shouted.
"Yea, and you broke all their teeth and were choking the leader with his own belt, before the cops dragged you off him," Naruto said with a flat tone.
"Get down!" Davis yelled, as he saw that Monochromon was right behind them and firing a red blast at them, just as they exited the cave.
As they did this, he tackled Kari out of the way of the attack, with Veemon doing the same to Gatomon, causing them to fall down a hill.
"Davis!" Naruto yelled, as he and the others ran down the hill after them.
"Kari, are you OK?" Tai asked, as he ran over to his sister.
"Yea, I'm fine. Though I think my hair got singed slightly" Kari said.
"Nice save Davis" TK said, as he smiled at the newest digidestined.
"Ugh, what happened?" Gatomon asked, as she shook her head a bit after her fall.
"Veemon got you out of the way of Monochromon's attack" Kari said, as she stood up.
"Yeah, so you'd best give him a kiss as a thank you," Impmon said with a snicker as he, Patamon, Labramon and Agumon ran over.
"Weren't you supposed to stop Monochromon?" Gatomon growled out in annoyance.
"Hey, if I could Digivolve, I'd give him a spanking he'd never forget" Impmon said with a scowl.
"Well, we're gonna have to make do, cause here he comes" Tai said, as Monochromon roared as he came down towards them.
"Davis! You can use the Digi-egg of Courage to power me up!" Veemon said, as he ran to his partner.
"Say what?" Davis asked, as he looked at the egg in his hands, which was growing red.
"It must like that since you saved Kari," Naruto said, as this was a good show of courage.
How do I use it? Davis asked veemon hoping he had the answer
"You need to yell out Digi Armor Energise. Your strength will allow me to Digivolve" Veemon said.
"You got it! Digi Armor Energise!" Davis shouted, as his D-Terminal fired off a beam of red light, shooting towards his Digivice, sending the crest of courage spinning outwards.
"Veemon Armor Digivolve to..." Veemon stood next to the Digi Egg of Courage, spinning beside him, before breaking apart igniting into several pieces.
A pillar of fire erupted, covering Veemon as the powers of Agumon, Greymon, MetalGreymon and WarGreymon surged through his body. He began to grow in height, as blazing pieces of armour formed over his head, his arms, legs and chest. His hands emerged from the flames extending his claws outwards, as a bladed horn sprung from his head.
"Flamedramon: the Fire of Courage!" Flamdramon proclaimed, as a blazing pillar of fire erupted behind him.
"Woah" Naruto said, as they all looked at the new Digimon.
"I can't believe that it worked," Tai said.
"Armour Digivolve? Cool" TK said with a grin.
"Eh, Bio-Merging is better. It lets me get my hands dirty" Himawari said with a shrug.
Monochromon came with a roaring charge, Flamdramon grabbed his head, lifting up high, before tossing him over, causing a large dust cloud as trees tumbled with laying.
Monochromon laid in a small hole, as Flamdramon stood ready for battle.
"Volcanic Strike!" Monochromon roared, unleashing a barrage of magma balls towards the armoured fire Digimon, but he swatted each blow like they were nothing. Monochromon roared at this, before charging to meet Flamedramon, tossing him up into the air much to everyone's shock.
Flamdramon flipped through the sky, igniting his body in flames, as he dive bombed towards the brainwashed Digimon.
"Barbecue that Dark Ring, Flamedramon!" Gatomon shouted out.
"Fire Rocket!" Flamdramon roared, smashing the Dark Ring around Monochromon's belly to pieces.
Monochromon's red eyes faded away, as he fell to the ground, before he looked around in confusion. "W-what happened?" he asked.
"You got captured by the Digimon Emperor's Dark Ring, but he was able to destroy it," Naruto said, as he pointed at Flamedramon.
Monochromon looked at Flamedramon and nodded at him, before he walked away into the forest.
Flamedramon then glowed for a second, before he turned back into Veemon.
As he did this, a red light flew into Davis's pocket.
"Eh?" Davis asked, as he pulled out his phone and looked at it for a moment. "What's this new app?" he asked, as he saw that he had a new app he hadn't downloaded.
"It must be so you can store your Digi-Egg," Tai said, as he looked over his shoulder and saw an image of a storage locker and an image of the Digi-Egg of Courage.
"Well, at least one of us can fight back now," Tai said with a grin at Davis.
"Yeah, I think we have a good candidate for leader," Naruto said with his own smile.
"Hey! I thought that I'd be the leader, since I know more about this than Davy!" Himawari yelled out.
"Yea, but he's, well, how do I say this? He's……" Tai was saying, before he tried off.
"Not crazy as hell?" Impmon asked, trying to help.
Himawari growled at this, as she glared at Impmon, her eyes flashing red.
"Gaaaah!!! She's her mothers child!" Impmon yelled, as he hid behind Naruto.
"Hey, it looks like your goggles were destroyed, when you tackled me out of the way of Monochromon's attack" Kari said, as she took note of the destroyed goggles on Davis' head.
"Oh. Ah well, it's a small price to pay" Davis said, as he took off the goggles.
"OK, definitely leader material," Naruto said with a grin at Tai.
Tai nodded at this, before he approached Davis and took off his goggles. "Here Davis, see how these fit," he said.
"Really?" Davis asked, as he took the goggles.
"Sure. After all, a leader needs a cool look" Tai said as he smiled, as Davis put on the goggles.
"Since we can no longer Digivolve, we have to finish off the Digimon Emperor quickly" Agumon said.
"I'm curious how he can even stop you guys from digivolving" TK said, as they all walked into the forest.
"Yea. I mean, just having a special Digivice makes no sense to me. There must be more to it" Naruto said as he frowned.
"We can think this over with Izzy when we get back" Tai said, as they approached the TV monitor.
"Oh man! What time did we leave?!" Naruto asked.
"I think we have only been here an hour," TK said, as he checked his wrist watch.
Everyone approached the TV and saw that Izzy was being confronted by Yolei.
"If they went in there to find Tai, then we should be there too, since we have Digivices too!" Yolei yelled.
"Yolei, we don't even know what that world is like," Cody said.
"Wait, you guys got chosen too?" Davis asked, as he and Veemon approached the TV.
As he did this, Davis Digivice went off, causing the TV to glow and suck in Naruto, Tai, Himawari, Kari, TK, Davis and all their Digimon.
(Human world)
"Look, let's just all calm down. Naruto went with them and I'm sure he will find Tai and be back soon" Izzy said, as he blocked everyone's path to the computer.
Before anyone could respond to this, the computer started to glow, before the group that had gone to the Digital World and their partner Digimon all fell out of the computer, crushing Izzy.
"Whoa, what a trip," Davis said with a smile.
"Alright, I'm back! Break out the watermelon!" Impmon yelled happily.
"Yeah, I'm hungry!" Veemon yelled out happily.
"Can you all get off me? You're squishing me" Izzy groaned out from underneath all of them.
"Oops. Heh, sorry Izzy" Tai said with a chuckle, as everyone stood up.
"Are you alright?" Sora asked, as she approached Tai.
"Yea, I'm fine - yow!" Tai was saying, before Sora grabbed him by his ear and twisted it.
"Good! Then you can explain why you didn't tell me that you were going to the Digital World!" Sora yelled, as she started to drag Tai towards the door.
"Ow! I need that ear, Sora! Don't pull so hard!" Tai yelled, as he was dragged off, with Agumon close behind.
"And that, ladies and gentlemen, is why you should never piss off an Uzumaki female," Naruto said.
"So wear a helmet TK - yow!" Davis was saying with a chuckle, before he ducked a thrown chair, which was thrown by Himawari.
"The next one won't miss, Davy!" Himawari yelled, as she glared at Davis with a death glare.
Davis looked at the angry Uzumaki and did what any leader would do.
"Come on Veemon! I want to introduce you to human food!" Davis yelled, as he grabbed Veemon and quickly ran out of the computer lab.
"Get back here, you coward!" Himawari yelled, as she ran after him.
"Yea, take your lumps like a real leader!" Labramon yelled, as she ran after her partner.
"Definitely leader material. He knows when to retreat" Naruto said with a chuckle, as they all started to leave the lab.
"Hey, you think your parents will be able to help us with this Digimon Emperor problem?" Kari asked Naruto curiously.
"We will see. Probably not, with this no Digivolving thing though" Naruto said as he sighed.
"Oh, your mom will love that," Impmon said with a scoff, as he knew Kushina hates cowards.
"Digimon Emperor? No Digivolving? What happened in the Digital World?" Izzy asked Naruto with a raised eyebrow.
"We can talk later, Izzy. We will need to meet up with everyone else right away to tell them what's going on" Naruto said, as they left the lab.
"What about us?" Yolei asked, as she gestured to her and Cody.
"Oh, don't worry you two. Next time we go to the Digital World, we will be taking you two as well. I have a feeling that you two will be important to bring with us in the future" Naruto said, as they left the school.
"I'll text you" Kari said to Yolei, as she knew this would require giving her information.
Yolei nodded at this, as they all split up to go home.
"I'll set up the meeting with the others. I'll leave telling Mimi what's going on to you" Izzy said to Naruto, as he walked off.
Naruto nodded at this, as he and Impmon walked off towards his family's apartment building.

"So, how are things with you and pinky?" Impmon asked curiously, as they entered his room.
"Well, that depends on how things are with you and Palmon" Naruto said with a grin, as he turned his computer on.
"Ha, ha, ha. But seriously, how are things going?" Impmon asked curiously.
"…..Mimi moved to the US two years ago," Naruto said, as he sighed at this.
"So you're doing the long distance thing?" Impmon asked, as he raised an eyebrow.
"Is there a problem with that?" Naruto asked him.
"Nah, we know pinky is loyal and true," Impmon said with a shrug.
Naruto nodded at this, as he smiled in agreement.
Impmon smirked at this, before……
"Jumbo! All aboard! The lady got a loose caboose! All aboard! The lady got a loose caboose!" Impmon started singing, as he started to smack his ass for emphasis.
Naruto said nothing to this, as he ignored Impmon, as he got up and approached his window and unlocked it calmly and started to open it.
"Uh huh! My Mimi got a booty! Uh huh, my - aghhhhhh!" Impmon continued to sing, before Naruto grabbed him and started to attempt to shove him out the window to throw him out. But he placed his hands and feet on the frame of the window to stop him.

Inside a dark room, was what looked like a teen boy with dark blue hair, sitting on a throne. He was wearing yellow sunglasses with purple lenses, a blue, grey and white jumpsuit, black shoes, cuffs on his wrists and ankles, a dark grey belt with a yellow buckle on it, and also a blue cape with a yellow lining that looks very much like insect wings, with golden-yellow shoulder pads.
Nearby was what looked like a green and purple worm looking Digimon. This was Wormmon.
"Ken, it's getting late. Shouldn't you be getting home to your parents?" Wormmon asked curiously, as the Digimon Emperor looked at some surveillance screens of the fight between Flamedramon and Monochromon.
"Silence! I am trying to figure out how they were able to Digivolve, while in my territory. Armour Digivolve, eh? And it would seem those digidestined from that incident four years ago are going to get involved" Ken said, as he looked at the footage of the Digidestined, both old and new, as he made plans for how to deal with them.
"But Ken, what about DAT -" Wormmon was asking, before he was cut off.
"They are of no consequence! They can't enter the Digital World, like I can! So they can just play police with the minions I send, to deal with them in the real world" Ken said with a menacing grin.
