(The park that night)
Tai and Sora were making their way to the park to meet up with the other Digidestined, but they had stopped at a burger place on the way.
"You're not mad at me anymore?" Tai asked Sora, as she ate some fries.
"Don't worry, you are forgiven" Sora said, as she shared some of her fries with Tai.
"Hey, Tai! I hear that there's a new crisis in the Digital World! Is that true?" a teen boy with brown hair and a guitar case over his shoulder asked. This was Matt, TK's older brother.
"Yea. I'm guessing that TK texted you?" Tai asked, as he approached Matt and the others who were with him
"Yea. So, what's this about some Digimon Emperor enslaving all the Digimon?" Matt asked as he frowned, as he sat on a bench.
"I'm really worried about all our friends," Izzy said, as he thought of Tentomon.
"Yea! I sure hope that Gomamon is alright" a teen boy with dark blue hair and glasses said, as he thought about his partner too. This was Joe.
"Well, from what Impmon said, when I wasn't throwing him out of my window, all of our Digimon are fine, seeing as they are helping other Digimon stay hidden, until they can find a way to fight back" Naruto said as he approached.
"Well, that's good, at least" Joe said with a sigh of relief.
"Throwing him out your window?" Matt asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Little smart ass was making comments about Mimi, when he found out she lived in the US" Naruto grumbled, as he sat down on a bench.
"Oh jeez. What did he say?" Tai asked, as he looked at Naruto.
"He was singing a song about how Mimi had a loose caboose, before I threw him out my bedroom window," Naruto said.
Tai snorted at this, while Sora simply rolled her eyes.
"Don't you live on the third floor?" Joe asked curiously.
"Yup" Naruto said with a grin, as he nodded at this.
"Anyway, Mimi asked me to tell you to try and find Palmon and make sure she's OK," Sora said, as she looked at Naruto.
"From what Impmon said, she is fine. But he wouldn't get into specifics" Naruto said.
"Yea, cause you were being a moron, trying to throw him out a window" Matt said, as he shook his head at this.
"Oi! You get a girl and have someone make jokes about her, then you can judge me!" Naruto yelled out.
"OK, let's all calm down," Tai said, as he held up his hands.
"Yea. And what's this I hear about new digidestined? Along with our Digimon not being able to Digivolve" Joe asked curiously, as he looked at Izzy.
"Yea, it would seem that this Digimon Emperor is somehow able to prevent our Digimon from digivolving" Izzy said, as he cupped his chin in thought.
"Yea, except for Davis and his new partner Veemon" Naruto said, as he thought about the new Digidestined's Armor Digivolution.
"How did they Digivolve then?" Matt asked curiously.
"Apparently there's a new version to Digivolve, which is called Digi Armour" Tai said, as he held up his phone and showed them a picture of Flamedramon.
"So we're on the bench and have to leave this to the newbies?" Matt asked, as he slightly frowned at this.
"We may not be able to help them fight, but we can give them advice and support if they need it," Sora said.
"Plus, I'm sure there is a way to get around this Emperor's digivolving block. We just need to wait for the new team to find it" Naruto said, as he nodded at Sora, agreeing with her.
"With your sister with them, I'm sure that they will find it" Izzy said, as he sighed at this.
"Oh jeez. She's not leading the new team, is she?" Matt asked, as he looked at Naruto with wide eyes.
"No, I'm a moron," Naruto said with a flat tone of voice.
"Yea, Davis is leading them. Though if he's able to get Himawari to listen to him, I'll be impressed" Sora said, as she chuckled slightly.
"I'm sure that Davis will do fine. Crazy Uzumaki on the team non withstanding" Tai said, as he smiled slightly.
This got silence from everyone, as they looked at each other nervously.
"I'll be sure to check in with them regularly," Naruto said as he sighed.
"Hey, why don't we all go to the Digital World tomorrow?" Sora asked with a smile.
"Sorry, but I have to write an exam," Joe said.
"And I have to practice for my performance," Matt added.
Sora frowned in disappointment at this.
"Don't worry cuz. I'll ask the others to look up Biyomon for you" Naruto said, patting her on the shoulder in comfort.
"It looks like our group has changed, Sora," Izzy said.
"Not really, Izzy," Naruto said, as he looked at everyone.
"Oh? How is that?" Matt asked curiously.
"While we may not be able to help right now, eventually we will be able to, or need to help. And it's not like we're just gonna let the newbies handle it, when we can help, right?" Naruto asked, as he looked at everyone.
"Of course not," Sora said, as she crossed her arms.
"Yea. I'm sure that we can help them somehow" Tai said, as he nodded at this.
"Yea, if we're needed, then give me a call" Joe said, as he nodded in agreement.
"Yea, me too" Matt said, as he too nodded.
"See? We're still a team" Naruto said, as he smiled at everyone.
"Yea, we're just missing Mimi," Sora said with a frown.
Naruto slumped his shoulders in depression at this, causing Tai to pat him on the back in sympathy.
"What do your parents think about the Digimon Emperor?" Matt asked Naruto curiously.
"My mom started ranting about, and I quote: I'll choke the shit out of that little coward with his own intestines: unquote" Naruto said, as he looked up.
Joe and Tai's faces went green at this, while Matt winced.
"Yep, sounds like auntie isn't a fan of the no Digivolving tactic" Sora said, as she chuckled slightly.
(The next day)
The next day with Naruto, it was after school and he was walking out of class.
"Hey big bro!" Himawari yelled, as she ran over towards him.
"Heya sis. Are you meeting up with the others, to head to the Digital World?" Naruto asked.
"You bet!" Labramon yelled, as she poked her head out of Himawari's backpack.
"Well, try not to give Davis too much trouble. Sora and Izzy are going with you, right?" Naruto asked, as he raised an eyebrow.
"Yes they are. Tai was going to come too, but he's got an exam. And no promises with Davy," Himawari said, as she walked away from her brother.
"Hey, only he can Digivolve right now, so you may want to be nice," Naruto said to her.
"Ugh, don't remind me!" Himawari yelled, as she walked away.
Naruto simply shook his head at this, as he continued to walk out of the school.
As he did, he bumped into someone, as he walked out of the school gates.
"Hey, watch where you're going, dope," a teen boy's voice said.
Naruto scowled at this, as he looked at the teen, who had spiky dark blue hair, with the back looking like a ducks. This was Sasuke Uchiha, a fellow student at the high school.
"I don't see your sister with you. Is she staying out of trouble?" Sasuke asked, as he looked at Naruto with a look of suspicion.
"My sister is with her friends and my cousin, Uchiha. Now, if you excuse me" Naruto said, as he walked away from the teen.
Sasuke watched Naruto as he walked away, before his earpiece started to beep, which he tapped. "Agent Uchiha reporting," he said with a professional tone.
{"Anything to report?"} a female voice on the other side of the call said.
"No ma'am. Though the younger Uzumaki hasn't left the school yet, along with several others, several of them being Digidestined" Sasuke said with a firm tone.
As he said this, Sasuke's backpack started to shake, before what looked like a small blue and white wolf with red claws poked its head out of his backpack. This was Loogamon, his partner.
"I can smell Digimon on all of them, Sasuke," the Digimon said with a firm tone.
Sasuke's eyes narrowed at this. "If that's the case, then it would seem that research and development was right. The Digital World is connected to our world again, ma'am" he said.
{"Obviously, seeing as more and more wild ones have been showing up. It will be hard to deal with them covertly, like we have been, Agent Uchiha"} the voice said with a firm tone.
"Yes ma'am," Sasuke said with a nod.
{"Continue your work. And remember, you're not to engage with the digidestined"} the voice said.
"Yes ma'am " Sasuke said, nodding again, before he hung up and turned to leave the school. "Let's go Loogamon" he said ready to leave
Loogamon nodded at this, as he hid in Sasuke's backpack
(With Davis in the Digital world)
Davis and the team, along with their Digimon, all appeared in what looked like a field, along with Sora and Izzy.
"Whoa, so this is the Digital World" Cody said, as he looked around.
"Yup. But don't let the looks fool you. It's not always this calm and peaceful" TK said, as Patamon sat on his head.
"Especially with the Digimon Emperor around," Labramon said with a growl.
"Sora!" a voice yelled out, getting their attention and when they looked at the nearby forest, they saw two familiar Digimon.
"Biyomon!" Sora said with a smile, as she ran over to her Digimon partner.
"Izzy, so glad to see you again. You got bigger" Tentomon said, as he landed in front of Izzy.
Izzy smiled at this, as he patted his partner on the head.
"Hey, the ground is shaking!" Yolei yelled, as the ground started to shake violently
"Everyone stay alert - gah!" Davis was yelling, before he fell into a hole that appeared underneath him.
"Look, down there!" Cody yelled, as he pointed down the hole, where a large purple Digimon was. It had a drill-like nose, with drill-like claws, and a Dark Ring around one of its legs.
"It's a Drimogemon!" Biyomon yelled out.
"Davis!" Veemon yelled, as he looked down into the hole and tried to reach for Davis.
"We have a bug problem in coming!" Kari yelled, as what looked like a flying praying mantis was flying towards them, with a Dark Ring around its waist.
"Boom Bubble!"
"Spiral Twister!"
"Super Shocker!"
Snimon easily dodged the attacks, as he flew overhead.
As this was going on, what looked like an abominable snowman was walking over, that had a Dark Ring around one arm.
"Veemon, watch your back! Mojyamon is here!" Gatomon yelled out, as the yeti Digimon threw a bone boomerang at Veemon.
"Huh? Ow!" Veemon asked, before he was hit in the back and sent into the hole and towards Drimogemon.
"Veemon!" Davis yelled, as he let go of the rock he was holding onto and grabbed Veemon, causing them both to fall towards the mole Digimon, who grabbed them both and dragged them both into the tunnel below.
"Davis!" Kari yelled, as she looked down into the tunnel
"Nice job you moron! - hey!" Himawari was yelling after Davis, before the bone boomerang came around and smacked her in the back, making her fall into the tunnel.
"Hima!" Labramon yelled, as she jumped into the tunnel after her partner.
"Let's get to safety!" Sora yelled, as she grabbed Kari's hand and pulled her away from the hole.
"Follow us!" Tentomon yelled, as he and Biyomon led the way Into the forest.
Everyone quickly followed after them, thankfully avoiding Snimon.
Soon, they were far enough away that they could take a rest.
"OK, this definitely wasn't what I expected" Cody said, as he caught his breath.
"I'm scared. I wanna go home" Yolei said with a look of fear.
"Relax both of you. We're safe for now, we just need to think up a plan, before we go save Himawari and Davis" TK said, as he tried to keep the peace.
"Hey, my Digivice is picking up a signal" Sora said, as she looked at her Digivice
"Mines going off too" TK said, as he looked at his own Digivice.
"Well, there's no sign of the others," Kari said with a sad look.
"Let's go take a look at least. Maybe it's where Davis and Himawari ended up" Izzy said, as they all started to follow the signal.
After walking for a bit, they all soon arrived at where the signal was coming from.
"What the heck is that?" Izzy asked in shock, as he pointed at what looked like some kind of temple.
"It looks like a temple," Biyomon said, as she flew forward.
"Should we go take a look?" Tentomon asked Izzy, as he flew forward too.
Izzy nodded at this, as he and Sora walked forward towards the temple with Kari and TK right behind them.
"Hey, don't leave us behind!" Yolei yelled as she ran after them, along with Cody into the temple
After looking around the temple, they found a room with two Digi-Eggs. One had the Symbol of Love while the other had the Symbol of Knowledge.
"Those look similar to the egg that Davis moved and used to Armor Digivolve Veemon" Gatomon said, as she looked at the eggs.
"Yea, but his had the Courage symbol on it" Kari said, as she nodded at this.
"Hmmm. Maybe you guys should try moving them" TK said, as he looked at Yolei and Cody.
"Oh yea. When Davis moved the Digi-Egg of Courage, that summoned Veemon" Kari said with a smile, as she looked at Yolei and Cody.
Yolei and Cody both looked at the eggs and nodded at this, before they approached the eggs and each grabbed one, with Yolei grabbing the Egg of Love while Cody grabbed the Egg of Knowledge.
They both pulled on the eggs and after a few seconds, the eggs were lifted off their pedestals, causing red and purple pillars of light to shoot up out of where the eggs had been sitting.
From the Digi-Egg of Love came what looked like a hawk Digimon, with a belt around his head and a feather sticking up from the back.
And from the Digi-Egg of Knowledge, came what looked like an armadillo.
"Greetings! It's about time you showed up" the hawk Digimon said with a smile, as he waved at them.
"Yeah, do you know how long we've been waiting?" the armadillo Digimon asked, as he yawned.
"So I'm guessing you two are their partners?" Patamon asked curiously.
"Yes indeed. My name is Hawkmon. A pleasure to meet you" Hawkmon said with a nod.
"Howdy, I'm Armadillomon," Armadillomon said with a grin.
"OK, now you just need to use the Digi-Eggs to Armour Digivolve us and we can go save your friends," Hawkmon said as he looked at Yolei.
"W-wait a minute. I've never thrown a punch in my life!" Yolei yelled in a panic.
"You refuse to fight? Why do I get the defective human?" Hawkmon asked with an annoyed tone.
"I hate fighting!" Yolei yelled out.
"Yeah, I have been there, Yolei. But if you don't fight, then your friends and other innocent Digimon will get hurt" Sora said, as she placed her hand on her shoulder.
Yolei frowned at this, before she nodded and her Digi-Egg started to glow.
"What about you, Cody? What do you think of the Digital World?" Izzy asked, as he approached the younger digidestined.
"Hmmmm. Well, from what little I have seen, I don't like how this so-called Emperor is just taking over like he thinks he can own the place and use the Digimon here as his slaves" Cody said, as he frowned.
"Heh, you're quite smart for one so young" Izzy said with a grin at this, as Cody's egg started to glow.
"Excuse me, but in order for us to Armor Digivolve, you must say Digi-Armor Energise" Hawkmon said as he held up his wing.
Yolei and Cody nodded at this, before they held out their eggs.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Cody shouted, as his egg fired off a beam of blue light, shooting towards his Digivice, sending the Crest of Knowledge spinning outwards.
"Armadillomon Armor Digivolve to..." Armadillomon stood next to the Digi-Egg of Knowledge that was spinning beside him, before breaking apart, igniting into several pieces.
An eruption came from the ground, as a mass of rocks of covered Armadillomon, as the powers of Tentomon, Kabuterimon, MegaKabuterimon and HerculesKabuterimon surged through his body, while drills shot from his hands and feet, with a third shooting from his head.
"Digmon the Drill of Power!" Digmon shouted, as dirt and rocks scattered around him.
"Digi Armor Energize!" Yolei shouted, as her egg fired off a beam of pink energy sending the crest of love spinning outwards.
"Hawkmon Armor Digivolve to..." Hawkmon stood next to the Digi-Egg of Love spinning beside him, before breaking apart into several pieces.
A powerful vortex of wind surrounded Hawkmon as the powers of Biyomon, Birdamon, Garudamon and Phoenixmon surged through his body, as bladed wings extended from the wind as it dispersed around him.
"Halsemon the Wings of Love!" Halsemon proclaimed, as a spiral of pink wind swirls behind him.
Both Digivolved Digimon stood in front of them.
"Wow" Yolei said, as she looked at Halsemon.
"Are all Digivolutions so different from the forms prior?" Cody asked curiously.
"Ask questions later. We should go find Davis and Hima" Kari said to them.
"Yeah, but how? We don't know where the Emperor took them" Sora said, as she frowned.
"Let's check our Digivices. I'm sure we can track them, now that we have found the Digi-Eggs" Izzy said, as they took out their Digivices.
"I got it!" TK yelled, as his Digivice showed two dots on it.
"Let's go!" Kari said, as she led the way out of the temple.
"Climb on my back, Yolei" Halsemon said, as he looked at his partner.
"Huh? Hey, wait a minute!" Yolei was saying, before she yelled as her partner grabbed her and threw her onto his back, as he took off, flying out of the temple.
"I'm right behind you!" Digmon said, as he dug his way into the ground and left the temple.
(With Davis)
Meanwhile with Davis, he was shackled to a mountain wall along with Himawari, while Veemon and Labramon were shackled to the mountain wall across from them.
And standing above them on top of the cliff, was Ken or to the captive digidestined and their Digimon, the Digimon Emperor, who was holding Davis Digivice, as two Dark Rings started to float towards Veemon and Labramon.
"I swear to Kami, that if you put that on Labramon, I'll rip off your arm and beat you to death with the wet end!" Himawari yelled, as she struggled to get loose from her shackles.
"…..you know, I kinda want to see that," Davis said with wide eyes at what Himawari just said.
"Shut up Davy and find a way out of this, oh great leader!" Himawari yelled at Davis.
"Oi! Stop calling me Davy, you psycho!" Davis shouted, his teeth going sharp.
"I'm not crazy! I get tested yearly, you idiot!" Himawari shouted back.
"Yea, but did you pass?" Davis asked with a raised eyebrow.
"FUCK YOU!!!!" Himawari screamed out in a rage.
"Both of you shut up! I swear, just five minutes with you two and I have the worst headache ever!" Ken yelled down at them
"Let me go, and I'll do worse than give you a headache!" Himawari yelled up at him.
"Feh. I'll free you, once your puppy is my servant. Then she can deal with you" Ken said, as the Dark Rings approached Labramon and Veemon.
"You mother - Himawari was yelling, before she was cut off.
"Tempest Wing!" Halsemon's voice yelled out, as two red beams shot at the Dark Rings and hit them, destroying them.
"Hang on guys!" Yolei yelled, as Halsemon flew towards them with her on his back, while the others were running behind her.
"Another digidestined that can get past my power" Ken said with a sneer.
Suddenly, the wall behind Veemon and Labramon crumbled behind them, revealing Digmon, who caught them in his arms.
"Sorry to burst in on you like this" Digmon said with a happy tone
"Heh, thanks for the save, newbie. Now free Hima and Davy, if you have the time!" Labramon yelled, as she pointed at Himawari and Davis with her paw.
"Stop calling me/him that!" Davis and Veemon yelled out together in a rage.
"I'm on it. Gold Rush!" Digmon yelled, as he fired his drills at Himawari and Davis, hitting their shackles and freeing them.
Davis skidded down the earth wall, while Himawari grabbed the opened shackles and propelled herself upwards.
"You and I have business, pretty boy!" Himawari yelled up at Ken, as she started to climb up towards him.
Ken scoffed at this, as he took out a whip and swung it at Himawari, smacking her in the face with it, only…..
"Oh, it's so on now!!!!" Himawari growled out, as she held the whip in her mouth, as she continued to climb up the mountain side, with fire in her eyes.
"Oh jeez. He just wrote a check that nobody is capable of cashing!" TK said with a wince, as he almost felt pity for the Digimon Emperor, when Himawari got her hands on him.
Before Ken could do anything, Wormmon looked down at Himawari as she got closer, and…..
"Sticky Net!" he yelled, as he fired a blast of webbing at her, hitting her in the face.
"Ah, what the hell?!" Himawari yelled as she shook her face in surprise, before losing her grip and started to fall off the cliffside.
"Hima!" Labramon yelled out seeing this.
"Don't worry, we got you!" Yolei yelled, as Halsemon quickly flew under Himawari and caught her.
"Are you ok, Ken?" Wormmon asked, as he looked at his master.
"Of course I am, you fool. I didn't need you to deal with that pathetic plebeian" Ken said with a sneer at Wormmon, causing him to frown at this.
"Hey, I heard that, you punk ass! Just wait till I get up there!" Himawari shouted, as she attempted to rip the webbing off her face and hair.
"Snimon! Drimogemon! Mojyamon! Deal with them!" Ken yelled, as he ran off with Wormmon close behind him.
"You're not getting away from me! Hey newbie, go after him!" Himawari yelled, as she ripped the webbing off her face, as she looked at Yolei.
"We have bigger problems at the moment!" Yolei yelled, as she pointed ahead of them at Snimon, who was flying at them, making them change course.
"Damn it!" Himawari yelled, knowing that the Digimon Emperor would get away now.
"Halsemon, go for the Dark Ring on his waist!" Yolei yelled as she looked at her partner, as they turned around to fly at the mantis Digimon.
"Tempest Wing!" Halsemon yelled, as he fired his attack from his wings at Snimon, who dodged it, but thankfully nicked the Dark Ring enough to destroy it.
"Heh, nice aim, rookie!" Himawari said with a smile and a thumbs up at Yolei and Halsemon.
Down below, Drimogemon burst out of the ground and roared at the others, who were on the ground with Davis and Veemon.
"Digmon!" Cody yelled to his partner.
"I'm on it Cody! Gold Rush!" the armor Digimon yelled, as he fired his attack at the digging Digimon before he could attack, with the attack hitting its target and destroying the Dark Ring on his leg.
"We're winning!" TK yelled with a wide smile.
we have one left Davis said as he spotted Mojyamon approaching them from the other end of the cavern
"Davis, allow me to finish this one" Veemon said, as he pumped his fists in the air, ready to go.
"Digi-Armor Energize!" Davis yelled, as his phone and Digivice started to glow.
"Veemon Armor-Digivolve to….Flamedramon!"
Mojyamon growled at this, as he made what looked like an icicle in his hands, before he threw it at Flamedramon.
Flamedramon held up his claws and caught it, before he melted it with his fire. "Fire beats ice, pal. Fire Rocket!" he said with a grin, before he fired his attack at the Digimon, hitting him in the Dark Ring, destroying it
"Alright, they did it!" Sora yelled happily, as Halsemon landed nearby.
"Are you ok, Hima?" Kari asked her best friend.
"I got captured and sucker webbed. Do I look ok?!" Himawari yelled, as she pointed at her hair, which still had webbing in it.
"Looks like an improvement to me" Davis grumbled under his breath, so Himawari didn't hear him.
"I heard that, Mr leader! You may be able to fight right now, but I can still put my size 11's up your ass!" Himawari yelled, as she stomped towards Davis, before Kari and TK grabbed her arms, stopping her.
"Jeez, how did Tai and Naruto put up with her?" Davis asked, as he sighed at this
"I think they were both numb after a bit. It should take you a bit" Izzy whispered to Davis, who nodded.
(With Naruto)
Naruto was making his way towards his family's restaurant, seeing as he was hungry and figured he would stop there for something to eat, before heading home.
But as the restaurant came into his sight, his phone started to ring, causing him to pause and take it out, causing him to smile, seeing as the caller ID picture was of Mimi.
"Ooooo. You think this is gonna be a dear John call? - Oi!" Impmon asked with a grin, as he landed on a trash can next to Naruto, before he quickly jumped off the trash can, as Naruto took a swing at him with his fist, missing the imp Digimon.
"If I wasn't so peace loving, I would shove you where they wouldn't find the bod - hey Mimi, how are you doing?" Naruto growled at Impmon, before he answered the phone and switched his tone to a kind tone.
{"I'm doing fantastic! And I have great news!"} Mimi said with an audible smile on her face.
Naruto smiled at this, but before he could ask Mimi what her news was, a crowd of people ran by, all yelling in a panic.
"What's got them freaking out?" Impmon asked curiously, as he jumped up into a tree and looked ahead over the crowd.
"What do you see?" Naruto asked, as he looked up at his partner.
Impmon looked up above the crowd and saw what looked like a digital tear in the sky, as what looked like a red dinosaur with green spikes on its back appeared and dropped onto the ground with a loud thud, and roared before it breathed fire onto a building.
"It looks like we have our own problems," Impmon said, as he narrowed his eyes at this.
{"Naruto? Is everything alright?"} Mimi asked curiously.
"Sorry Mimi, but it looks like I'm gonna have to call you back. A Tyrannomon is attacking the neighborhood" Naruto said, as he went to hang up.
{"Wait, what?! Naruto, call for backup -"} Mimi was saying, before Naruto hung up.
"You think we still got this, buddy?" Naruto asked, as he held up his Digivice which started to glow.
"Please, I have been itching to team up with you again, partner," Impmon said with a grin, before he started to glow.
"Impmon digivolve to….. Wizardmon!"
Wizardmon flew at Tyrannomon and hovered across from him, before he aimed his staff at him and fired a blast of lighting at his head, getting his attention.
"Hey, lizard face! There's a rule about invading the human world!" Wizardmon yelled, as he glared at the dinosaur Digimon
Naruto stood across from the battle, as Tyrannomon roared before charging at Wizardmon. The magic Digimon jumped into the air, flipping downward, before he held up his staff to the sky.
"Electro Squall!" Wizardmon shouted, throwing down his staff and unleashing a surge of lightning down upon Tyrannomon. But he brushed it aside, as he charged forward. Wizardmon held up his staff, keeping him back while skidding his feet along the dirt and grass.
"Blink Breeze!" A massive blast of wind kicked up, sending Tyrannomon tumbling back onto the road side, with Wizardmon jumping after him.
Tyrannomon growled, as a dark aura surrounded his body, causing it to pulsate slightly, before roaring again, unleashing a massive stream of fire. Wizardmon twirled his staff, blocking back the flames, as they raged forward. But once they finally died down, Tyrannomon viciously rammed into Wizardmon, slamming him into a nearby car.
As Wizardmon groaned, Tyrannomon jumped into the air, diving down head first towards the car.
"Yipe!" Wizardmon yelled, as he rolled back, as he crashed down into the car, smashing it to pieces, scattering parts and glass over the road.
Tyrannomon rushed in slashing at Wizardmon, who was ducking and evading his every swing. He brought down his staff, striking him down across the face, then unleashed a powerful blast of air, knocking him back.
"Okay, this guy is definitely stronger than your average Tyrannomon" Wizardmon remarked
"Then let's take it up to the next level!" Naruto said, pulling out his Digivice.
But before the Digidestined of Kindness could make a move, a dark blue blur zipped forward, striking into Tyrannomon hard, knocking him backwards, much to the shock of the duo.
Between them and the red T-Rex Digimon, was a dark blue Digimon that looked like a hybrid between a wolf and a bird. It stood on all fours, with thick blue feathers sticking out the front, with five red ones sticking upwards with a matching tail. Its claw forelegs were covered by black leather gloves, with silver hands around the wrists, while a silver muzzle covered his face, with a large triangle gem in the center.
"Who the heck is this guy?" Naruto asked, as he looked at Wizardmon.
"No idea. I've never heard of this guy" Wizardmon said, as he held his staff at the ready.
Flames shot from the Digimon's muzzle, as he glared at Tyrannomon.
"Flame Blow!" the Digimon roared, his body became engulfed in fire, before shooting forward like a bullet, smashing into Tyrannomon, causing him to cry out in pain, as the flames engulfed him as well.
"Howling Burner!" the Digimon roared, as a blazing yellow light surges from its muzzle. It then unleashed a surging beam of flames, wiping out Tyrannomon, who exploded in a burst of data.
"Hey! That was unnecessary!" Naruto yelled, as he glared at the Digimon.
"Yea, we could have sent him back to the Digital World!" Wizardmon said, as he narrowed his eyes.
"Don't be fools. That Digimon was obviously an invader, not someone who is here by accident" the Digimon said with a firm tone of voice.
"Don't waste your time, Loogarmon. They're both bleeding hearts, who would rather try to save the enemy, then save this city" Sasuke said, as he walked over to them.
"Sasuke? What are you doing here?" Naruto asked in shock.
"My job" Sasuke said, as he held up what looked like a Digivice.
"EH?!?!" Naruto and Wizardmon exclaimed with wide eyes, as Loogarmon turned back into Loogamon.
"Let's go, Loogamon" Sasuke said, as he turned around to leave.
Loogamon nodded at this, as he moved to follow Sasuke.
"Hey, wait a minute. How are you one of us?" Naruto asked, as he approached Sasuke.
Sasuke paused at this, before he turned to look at Naruto. "I'm not like you and your fellow digidestined" he said with a firm tone, as Wizardmon turned back into Impmon.
"Oh? And how do you figure that, duck hair?" Impmon asked as he approached.
"Me and Loogamon are part of an elite team, trained by the government to deal with these wild ones who show up in the human world, looking to start trouble" Sasuke said firmly.
"Wait, the government?" Naruto asked, raising an eyebrow at this.
"Indeed. Normally I wouldn't tell you a thing, but we will be made public soon enough, seeing as this attack was public, unlike the other attacks, which my team has been able to deal with for the past few months under the radar, up until now" Sasuke said calmly.
"Wait, this has been happening the past few months?" Naruto asked curiously.
"And you have been just wasting Digimon, just assuming they are threats?" Impmon asked, as he glared at Loogamon.
"Rest assured, any Digimon that DATS has dealt with have been threats. We're not reckless fools, unlike you" Loogamon said with a scoff at Impmon, who growled in annoyance at this.
"And you expect us to just believe you?" Naruto asked Sasuke, as he gave him a look of mistrust.
"What you and your fellow digidestined believe doesn't matter. Just stay out of our way" Sasuke said, as he turned to walk away from Naruto, with Loogamon close behind him.
"Hang on, does your mother know about this?" Naruto asked Sasuke with a raised eyebrow.
"She will know soon enough," Sasuke said with a firm tone, as he left.
"I'll take that as he never told her," Naruto muttered under his breath with a scowl.
"Great. So now we have a team of Digidestined that are sellouts" Impmon grumbled, as he crossed his arms.
"Come on, let's get home and try to think of a way to tell the others about this," Naruto said, as he walked towards his family's home.
"Well, I'm just hoping that not all of them will be like duck butt" Impmon said, as he followed his partner.
(Later with Himawari)
It was now dusk and Himawari had a scowl on her face, as she rode the elevator up towards her floor, with Labramon standing by her side.
"I can't believe that punk ass had us captured and we had to be rescued by Yolei, Cody and their new Digimon" Himawari grumbled under her breath.
"Well, at least we were saved before he could put that Dark Ring on me," Labramon said, as she shuddered slightly.
"Yea, well, when I find a way around this no Digivolving trick, I'm gonna make that punk Emperor beg for mercy" Himawari growled out, as the elevator door opened, which they both walked out of.
They both approached the door to their family apartment, and when she opened the door….
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN THAT THERE'S A TEAM OF DIGIDESTINED THATS GOVERNMENT FUNDED?!?!" Kushina bellowed out loudly, with her hair waving about over her head.
"It's like I said and Sasuke is one of them," Naruto said with a sigh, as he sat at the table with Impmon.
"Does Mikoto know?" Minato asked with a cocked eyebrow.
"I'm guessing no, seeing as he avoided the question" Impmon said, as he shrugged at this.
Kushina quickly took out her phone and smiled evilly at this.
"Honey, what are you doing?" Minato asked curiously.
"I'm just being a concerned parent, sweetheart," Kushina said, as she sent Mikoto a text.
"What's going on?" Himawari asked, as she took off her shoes and entered the apartment.
"Not much. Except for the fact that Digimon have been attacking the human world for months, and apparently there's a team of Digidestined, that is funded by the government dealing with them" Naruto said nonchalantly.
"I'm sorry, what?" Himawari asked, as her eyebrow twitched violently at this, along with Labramon.
"Turn on the TV! Mikoto just answered me and told me they are having an emergency press conference about this new team!" Kushina yelled, as she looked up from her phone.
Minato quickly turned on the TV, which showed a female woman with brown hair wearing a business suit.
Kushina and Minato instantly froze in surprise upon seeing the woman.
"Maki?" Kushina whispered, her heart sinking at this.
"You know her?" Labramon asked with a raised eyebrow.
"We should...she was one of us" Minato said with a sigh
"What do you mean by 'was', Dad?" Naruto asked with a look of confusion.
"Hush! They are talking" Kushina said, as she turned up the volume.
"\After today's attack on the city, the government has decided to take action, by putting together a team, specially put together to deal with these Digimon\" Maki said with a firm tone to the reporters.
"\What about the team from four years ago? Why not ask them to help?\" one of the reporters asked, with their hand up.
Maki sighed at this, before she shook her head. "\We are open to working with them, but we don't answer to them, seeing as our primary concern is to protect our world\" she said firmly.
"In other words; let them handle whatever crap is happening in the Digital World, as we don't care about it," Himawari said with a scoff after hearing this.
"\Anyway, rest assured that DATS will be here to protect you from these digital invaders\" Maki said with a firm tone
"\What if not all of them are invaders?\" a reporter asked with a raised hand.
"\They of course get a warning and asked what their business is here. But if they are hostile, then we will act accordingly\" Maki said firmly.
"\How were you able to build this team?\" another reporter asked.
"That's a good question," Minato said with a frown, as they all listened to the report.
"\All of our DATS members are digidestined, that were chosen like the team from four years ago, that we were able to identify. We simply approached them and offered to help them become more efficient in protecting our world\" Maki said calmly.
"So they just found digidestined that have no clue what is going on and recruited them into service?" Naruto asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Sure sounds like it," Minato said, as he sighed as the conference ended.
"I'm surprised that she never showed who the members were," Himawari said with a scowl.
"I'm sure that we will find our soon enough, sis" Naruto said with a sigh
(DATS headquarters)
Meanwhile in a meeting room, Sasuke and Loogamon along with four other teens were sitting at a big meeting table, watching the press conference.
One was a teen girl with platinum blonde hair that was tied up in a ponytail. Next to her was what looked like a floating plant Digimon, with the top half pink and the bottom half green.
Another was a teen boy with a black bowl style haircut, with a yellow looking Digimon, that had spikes all over it.
The last boy had wild brown hair with triangle marks under his eyes, as a small red Digimon that looked like a teddy bear stood next to him.
And next to the blonde girl, was the last member of the team, who was another girl. She had light brown spikey hair, with a white looking rabbit Digimon standing next to her.
"I still don't see why Miss Maki didn't want us at the press conference" the blonde said with a pout at this.
"Probably so we can tell our families ourselves, before they out us. Which is good, as my little brother will probably freak out that I'm a digidestined, seeing as he's a fan of Naruto's" the girl with brown hair said with a chuckle.
"Your brother is a digidestined" Sasuke said with a firm tone, as he held up a picture of what looked like Davis and Veemon at a ramen stand, with Veemon wearing a big overcoat.
"What?!" the girl with brown hair yelled out in surprise.
"Ha! Looks like your little bro is a freelancer" the boy with wild hair said with a laugh at this.
"I'm sure that your brother's youthful attitude will keep him out of trouble" the boy with black hair said, as he pumped his fist.
"That's what I'm afraid of," the girl with brown hair said with a groan.
(Airport)
Meanwhile at the airport, it was nighttime and a flight from New York had just arrived and a teen girl with long brown hair wearing a pink hairpin hat walked off the plane, along with her parents.
"Finally! I have missed Japan" the teen girl said with a smile, as she looked around.
"I'm surprised that Naruto isn't here to greet you, Mimi," her mother said with a smile.
"I didn't get the chance to tell him. Apparently, a Digimon came and attacked the city and he had to deal with it. But that's OK. I can't wait to see his face when he finds out that I'm back" Mimi said with a bright smile, as she and her parents went to go get their bags and leave the airport.
P.O.M and Kfbanime87 were relaxing in their office, before….
