The great poisonous green scaled serpent reaped itself back as if it was a cobra. Harry's first instinct was to dive out of the way and to cover his eyes but for some reason he didn't.
"Y…I killed you"
"Y̵e̸s̷ ̴y̵o̵u̸ ̸d̴i̴d̷ ̵S̵p̴e̴a̸k̵e̶r̴.̸ ̸A̸n̶d̶ ̷y̴o̵u̵r̶ ̸m̷a̶g̵i̶c̴ ̶c̸a̷l̸l̸e̸d̶ ̴m̷e̴ ̴b̵a̷c̷k̴ ̵t̸o̴ ̸ ̴t̴h̵i̴s̸ ̶p̵l̴a̴n̷e̴ ̴o̸f̵ ̷b̸e̸i̷n̴g̶." He heard the feminine tone in the voice as he gulped down softly.
"I brought you back? How? Necromancy is forbidden and even then I'd never touch something as such." Harry began to move himself over to where he could run if need be but his eyes were locked with the serpent's own.

It was at this moment Harry finally noticed the veil almost nonexistent over the eyes like a second eyelid but translucent.
"Then till then…stay unnoticed. As you have been….Do not attack anyone unless I tell you to." Harry ordered and the serpent nodded. "Before I forget what your name is?"
"S̷a̷l̵a̴z̷a̶r̴ ̶c̴a̴l̷l̶e̵d̷ ̶m̷e̴ ̴S̷e̶l̶u̷n̴e̶.̷" The now named Selune stared upon the one who resurrected it and watched as Harry moved to leave as it began to think and wonder about her new master. A master that reminded herself of her first. Of Salazar.
It was late when Harry made it back to the tower and sighed as he sat down in the common room rubbing his face. God, he thought, when Hermione finds out I am going to be in trouble. Harry shook these thoughts from his head as the door to the common room opened and he watched as Parvati walked in smiling at him.
"Hi Harry." Her voice spoke aloud and he turned smiling at her.
"Parvati long day. Out with your sister?"
"That obvious eh?" She asked as she took the seat beside him, her legs tucking in under her as she leaned back against the chair.
"You two are about the same as the twins."
"Harry we are- oh you meant the Pranksters." Padme thought for a moment about it before she looked at him. "How?"
"How what?"
"How are we "about the same as the twins" as you put it?"
Harry sat back, his fingers crossed and he looked at her for a moment. "You both have tells that make you separate besides your school clothing, and your clear interest differences from what I've seen. It's actually quite my fault we haven't spent a lot of time together. And I don't just mean you and me. Hell we've been housemates since first year and we have barely interacted."
Parvati smiled and looked around before smiling. "Well we'd just have to make up for it won't we?" She glanced up and saw Harry smiling more.
"Indeed we shall." Harry rolled his hands and two glasses formed between them with a liquid filling themselves up.
"How did you do that?" Parvati starred in surprise and awe.
"Something we say in the muggle world; A magician never reveals their secrets." Harry grinned cheekily. "To making up lost time." He took one of the glasses that levitated in the air between them and held it out towards her. Who took her own as well.
"To making up lost time." Parvati met his glass with her own before they drank together. The liquid was fruity, slightly bubbly but not overtly alcoholic. Most likely a champagne. "Well I best be off to bed. Good night Harry."
"Night Par." Harry smiled softly at her as he watched her head up the steps. He sighed and was about to stand up when he heard movement coming down and saw someone rushing down.
"Harry!" She smiled and Harry couldn't help but grin. Her brown hair recently straightened matched perfectly with her eyes as he suddenly felt her rush to sit next to him. "Where did you go?"
"I just wanted to relax a bit. You know how these parties aren't my kind of thing. At Least nothing this exciting." Harry grinned and put his arm on the back of the couch as he leaned back against the arm. "Afterall I think there was enough excitement. For one day. " His jokes tried to lighten her worry for him. But did quite the opposite when she snorted a bit before launching herself from her spot and colliding with him. The shock of what she did cause his arms to wrap around her swiftly to make sure neither fell to the ground.
That's when he truly noticed it. The room had been dark enough he hadn't noticed them before hand, but as he felt it hit his shirt he knew she had been crying. He rested his chin on her head as he gripped her close.
"It's okay Mione."
"No! No it's not okay. I could have lost my best friend because of this blasted tournament!" Her words heaved out of her chest with her heavy sobs.
"Hermione, I was perfectly safe. The Horntail wasn't gonna attack me." He whispered softly, his hand going through her hair comforting her softly.
"I didn't know that at the time though!" She sat up and smacked his shoulder. "Why didn't you tell me that you knew the dragon's eggs were dead?"
"I didn't."
"And how you healed them into hatching…"
"I don't know how that happened."
"Do you know anything?"
"She's grateful." Harry smiled which caused Hermione to scoff.
"I'm gonna look in the library. See if I can find how you did that." Hermione wiped her face softly.
"Good luck then Mione….and hey…this tournament isn't gonna kill me." He promised her and rubbed her back softly. "Now go on I should head up to rest as well"
Hermione looked hesitant before she pulled herself up slowly. "Good idea….you haven't gotten enough with training have you? Good night Harry."
"Good night Mione" Harry smiled as he watched her leave before he himself headed up the steps and entered his years dorms. He looked over and saw everyone else was quite asleep. He sighed in thanks as he didn't really wanna speak to anyone at the moment. He slowly slid into his bed as the curtains were closed around him by a tendril of black smoke before it disappeared against Harry again.
Meanwhile in her area Andromeda Tonks sat conflicted as she rubbed her temples. Now she was offering her legal services to another besides Harry. The man who had punched William Weasley. Aleksander, Viktor Krum's cousin, was now in trouble with striking a British citizen and at that a Bulgarian citizen striking a warden under the employment of the host of the tournament. Not to mention if the Goblins themselves learn about this it could become a huge , as Nymphadora would say, fucking problem.
Andromeda swirled the glass beside her as she thought it through. A crime of passion could be pulled using the France ruling, especially since the wards did seem faulty if the dragon got out. But not to mention the ICW would claim the right to host the trial. Maybe I should see if Aleksander had French citizenship to help this.
The biggest worry though is still the Goblins. Where even their human employees are prosecuted against the same as they have been. A goblin lawyer would probably be requested due to the situation. She cursed into her wine at this thought. Maybe I can reach out as a member of the Black Family but there's no guarantee that it'll go in my favor.
The best option is either the ICW courtroom. Or a settlement…..expensive but would keep both families happy. She laid it down and rubbed her forehead. Then something came to mind. An idea bred from desperation, possibility, and pure insanity. And thus she began to write.
Harry groaned as he rubbed his face. The night had been rough for some reason his bed despite the silk sheets and cushioning mattress just couldn't feel comfortable. As if his muscles were tightened like coiled spring just waiting to jump out of the way of a knife or a spell in his back. Even now he still felt it as he entered the Great Hall.
The crowd is small yet all their eyes gravitated towards him. Not that he noticed mind you as he walked and stopped at a spot reaching over and grabbing the jug in front of the woman and poured into a chalice awaiting him sighing as the hot chocolate filled it. He sat down slowly and lifted the chalice to his lips and slurped it, letting loose a satisfied sigh almost as if someone with a cup of coffee or tea would, and normally he'd have tea but he needed a sweet thing to start his day.
"Hi Harry." He heard a familiar and yet different tone and he finally looked up fully and raised an eyebrow.
"Padma?"
"That's my name…..and although I share my sister's face, I don't share her table Harry." That's when he finally noticed and looked around seeing he had sat down at the Ravenclaw table by accident.
"Eh, I'm already here." He shrugged and began placing food on his plate before looking up again at her. "How are you Padma?"
"Oh just fine, nothing much….." She tried to answer as calmly as she could but Harry could see her shuffling in her seat before she jumped up. "HOW DID YOU DO IT?!" Her words were whispered but at the loudest a whisper could be.
"Do what?"
"Parvati told me how you made you both glasses of champagne."
"Oh that."
"Yes! You do know that is some of the most difficult magic anyone could do, right?"
"No I actually don't. And I don't even know how I did it. Just wanted some and thought it was perfect for us. I mean, isn't champagne what you're supposed to use to toast to something?"
Padma staired dumbstruck by Harry as it was beginning to be fully clear that he did something near impossible for your average witch or wizard, and yet still acted like it was nothing. "I….Ju…Harry…..yes." She groaned and rubbed her head. "This must be how it feels to be Hermione sometimes…" She muttered to herself before smiling. "Well…maybe we can hang out as well right?"
"Of course Padma. I've also regretted not making time for my friends in the other houses. Especially you." Harry spoke as he cut his eggs to shovel with his fork, completely missing the blush rise in Padme's cheeks at his words.
"Good ... .I can't wait for it then Harry." She smiled
The day went pretty normal after that. He went to classes and tried to just go about his day pretty smoothly but something just didn't feel right to him as he went through the day. Even when he got to the point he was lying in his bed once again. That ache. No, THE ache as it had became caused him to get up and head out. He looked around as he did, making his way through the other passage to the Chamber he had found before.
"A̴h̵ ̵y̸o̵u̷'̶v̶e̸ ̶r̷e̵t̶u̷r̸n̴e̶d̷.̵" Selune hissed as she stretched herself free from the opening of her former cage and back down onto the water covered floor. " I̷s̸ ̷t̸h̷e̵r̷e̸ ̵s̶o̷m̴e̸t̶h̷i̴n̷g̵ ̸t̶h̵a̸t̶ ̷y̷o̷u̵ ̸r̶e̵q̷u̵i̸r̵e̷d̴?̶" She asked as she seemed to situate herself comfortably.
"My dorms no longer feel safe to me….. It's as if I am a screw that keeps getting turned but all that's happening is I'm growing in heat and uncomfortability and not going in deeper." Harry growled the ending out as he was coming down from his uncomfortableness.
"T̴h̶e̸n̴ ̷m̶a̶y̴ ̷I̷ ̸s̸u̵g̵g̵e̶s̴t̴ ̴t̸u̴r̸n̸i̷n̵g̸ ̶t̶h̵e̸ ̵C̶h̵a̵m̶b̸e̵r̴ ̷i̸n̷t̵o̸ ̵y̵o̷u̵r̸ ̴o̸w̶n̶ ̴p̸e̸r̸s̶o̷n̴a̷l̵ ̵q̷u̵a̸r̷t̶e̷r̶s̵.̴.̴.̷ ̸A̵f̶t̵e̴r̷ ̸a̸l̷l̴.̸ ̵N̷o̷n̶e̴ ̷c̵a̸n̵ ̴g̸e̵t̶ ̷t̵o̷ ̶y̷o̷u̷ ̵i̸n̵ ̶h̷e̴r̸e̵.̶"
Her words brought clear reasoning to his ears and after only a momentary deliberation he closed his eyes and raised his wand and his other hand. He hummed aloud as the black smoke billowed from his wand and hand as he flung and swished his wand around, orchestrating a band unseen to anyone but himself.
The water receded until it was two pools which poured from and was filtered back up to two Statues. The floor grew tilled and more textured, being able to absorb more heat so that one's feet no longer grew cold, a gift for when Luna eventually showed herself again naturally. The walls grew long and tall before shelfs appeared. Empty but room to add to. Still light appeared from nowhere in particular giving the room still its sublime pale green atmosphere. He did not know why but it added character to the aged chamber. A bed rolled itself from piles of debris changing as a perfect bed for a king resided in the middle. For now at least. He stopped and opened his eyes, yawning. "That's enough for me tonight…. Maybe I'll get some opinions on what to change in the future. He rubbed his eyes before crawling into the bed he made, closing his eyes, and the tension that had begun to irritate him no longer was present that night.
Nothing too big in this chapter folks. We're in the lead up to the Ball so it's kind of slower during this time and looking for a muse is pretty rough. Over all i think it came out well. Shoutout to r2prime once again for aiding me in my writing. Without them it would never had been able to grow and it proves just how much it helps to have a soundboard to speak off of and rebound ideas with that isn't yourself. Plus I like the twins...no the other ones. They are in my opinion under used and much more then they seem. Next chapter I'm excited. See you all then.
