Chapter Six is here ladies and gentlemen and those in between and I hope you are still entertained I took a bit of time to get this out, due to me trying to figure out what best was going to happen next.

"So James, why are we having this meeting?" James' eye opened and after a moment refocused on the area around him as he looked across the table at the man sitting across from him. Dr Sabal Patil. "I thought we worked through the not talking part already James."

"We did, I'm sorry." James rubbed his eyes. "It's simply been a tough couple of nights." His cloak splayed along the back of the chair as he sat there and leaned his head back shortly.

"So speak to me about them."

Silence enveloped the room for a moment before a sigh escaped his lips.

"Perhaps we should resche-"

"I snapped at her portrait again." James admitted as he shook his head softly and then ran a hand through his head before

"The one you put in Harry's room?"

"There's only one."

The scratching of the self writing quill filled the room.

"Why did you snap at her?"

"She couldn't understand what it's like with this constant reminder that…"

"That she isn't here?"

"Yes..."

"That you're still alive and she's not?"

"Yes."
"That Harry is going to grow up without his mother?"

"Yes!"

"That you survived but she didn't because you failed to save her?"

"YES!" James pushed his chair back with his magic as he stood up and stared at the man in the eyes and growled in his throat at him.

"This is survivor's guilt James." Sabal's voice hadn't changed the tempo, tone, or temperature as they spoke. It was clear the tone wasn't to upset James in fact it was primarily to get him to admit to himself these facts. "Sit back down please."

James blinked a few times before he slowly summoned his chair back to him and sat down slowly, his hands coming up and going through his hair. "You did this to get me to react." Sabal nodded. "Why?"

"Because you need to confront these truths your mind has made. I don't believe the last thing I said at all. You tried yes but you need to accept that there was nothing you could have done. So many died due to You-Know-Who. He was skilled, powerful and in the end deadly."

"I should have tried harder."

"Everyone thinks that. Amelia with her brothers for example. I'm sure she has that same deep reaction every day she looks at Susan."

Sabal watched as he could almost see the gears spinning in his head. He quickly wrote his own notes down on the paper and quill he had for his own personal notes. The self writing one was there to transcript these sessions.

"Perhaps that is something to think about and let us reconvene again in a few days."

"Usually you only ask me to come in on our scheduled days." James pointed out chuckling.

"This time though you are thinking about a new perspective into your situations. And remember my friend… We are all here for you."

James nodded as he stood and redone his cloak and began to head out these thoughts now ingrained into his mind.

Sirius fixed the mattress back on the bed and pushed it down to fit it. "This is the third time today…"

"I'm sorry."

He shook his head as he looked over his shoulder at her. "I'm not angry. I am just trying to help you." He swung his wand over and the bed items refitted themselves on the bed entirely. "There we go." He turned and walked over and hugged her softly. He felt her tense before her hands dug into his embrace.

"Siri, I'm so scared. I can't even sleep at night because this…" She reaches for her arm and begins to scratch at it harder.

"Hey…hey hey…" He took her hand off the sleeve and held her close. "It's alright he's gone." He felt her shake her head. "You don't have to be afraid ever again."

He couldn't understand, she thought as she hugged him. "I hope so, Siri." He chuckled as he looked down at her softly."But it's still here the mark is still here...shouldn't it be gone?"

"I don't know Trixie. Except for one thing, Trixie. I won't let anything bad happen to you ever again. Andromeda won't either and you're making excellent progress."

Trixie coughed and rolled her eyes as she pushed away and to the windowsill and sat on it looking out. "I can't even step outside."

Siri looked at her sitting there. Her health had returned over the years. She looked like the Trixie of old. The sunkenness had disappeared with good meals clearly worked wonders on her. He walked over and gently ran a hand into her hair before taking her hand. "Come on with me Trixie." He pulled her to her feet and began the walk. This walk led them both to the front door where Trixie pulled herself to a stop before the threshold.

"Siri…I don't…"

"Trust me Trix." Sirius smiled at her and gave her hand a gentle squeeze. Still She showed hesitation until another hand snaked its way into her opposite. Trix looked over and saw that it was her sister Andromeda.

"We." She smiled at her sister. "We got you hun." Andromeda gently placed another hand on her arm and slowly the three took steps out of the house. Once they were in the yard they slowly helped her to the ground and the three simply sat and felt the grass under them, the wind in their faces. Sirius looked over at Trixie and saw how she had closed her eyes. She looked so natural and so happy. He felt the corners of his lips begin to turn up and smile at her. He didn't expect it when she slowly stood up.

"Trixie?" Sirius asked her gently as he stood up with her. He wasn't expecting when he jumped back in shock as she took off running. He looked at Andromeda and then back as they watched Trixie begin to laugh like she once did deep joy running through her voice as she felt the grass in between her toes. Sirius smiled at the noise before he took a few steps back and leaped himself off the ground and changed mid air running after her in his animagus form. He barked happily as he chased after her until he was right alongside her.

As they ran he slid to a stop and watched as she leaped into the air herself and as she landed it was a shock to see her shift into that of a black wolf her feet catching her as she landed and let herself fall and roll around on the grass as if the grass itself was the most addicting feeling in the world. Almost as soon as it happened she shifted back right when Sirius showed up.

"You're an animagus?!"

"Yeah I uh… learned how to from Grand Uncle Arcturus." She shrugged. "He figured it'd be the best gift he could give his grandniece to protect herself this way in case her husband tried something she didn't want to….it was one of few moments of freedom from the influence… almost as if it didn't affect the wolf part of me."

"I understand that. I used the dog part of me to go for runs when the war was stressing me out or school. It just gave me freedom."

"Hey Siri…"

"Yeah?"

"Will we all be a family again… I don't just mean us three, I also mean Cissy and her son." Bella asked somberly as she stared out at the clouds in the sky.

Sirius tilted his head gently as he wondered for a moment before he smiled. "I believe that perhaps we will." He reached over and took her in a hug and rubbed her shoulders.

Amelia sighed as she poured her third cup of tea in the past few moments. Becoming the Head of the D.M.L.E. was not at all as cracked up as it seemed. The files sprung across her desk were the short in the headache that was dealing with the leftovers of Crouch's administration. Not to mention she was also trying to work with Bagnold with trying to keep any and all Death Eaters away but in the end the damned pureblood legal protections. If only she could shove a bottle of veritaserum down the throats of each and every bloody member of the "Possible/Confirmed Death Eaters" cabinet she had.

She stood and rubbed her forehead before turning and looking straight out onto the Auror floor. They had to also grow their numbers. Too many died and now there was a full shortage of Aurors. She looked straight over at the Aurors. A nasty thought crossed her mind of how many of them were traitors as well. She chewed on her lip before shaking her head. Damn this war…

Amelia put down her cup and began to put some of the files away before her hand knocked them to the floor causing her to sigh and shook her head.

"Of course…" She dropped down on her knees and began to pick up and move files and then found one in particular she gripped tightly. The Silver Dementor. Named after the mask the person wore. It was this Silver Dementor that killed her brother Edger's family and himself. She wiped her face softly before the tears fell. "God damn it." She reopened the file and looked at the words and information. Curses that were unrecognizable. The bodies were claimed by the Unspeakables to find out what spell caused the deaths. She closed the file before wondering if the Unspeakables never mentioned how this case had been going and she did have contact with Croaker… Maybe she could…

She closed the file and put another on top of it. She shouldn't hope for anything from this; it'd only end in more heart wrenching pain. More unanswered questions. More bloody confusion and want for more. She stopped and her hand drifted to her belly which she began to rub subconsciously. An act that had been growing more and more usual since she found out she was pregnant. Almost as if she was trying to soothe not only herself but the little one that was beginning to grow inside her.

"Madam Bones?" She heard a voice call which caused her to stop and she fixed her desk before looking at the door.

"Enter." In came a young dark skinned man she knew too well. "Kingsley, How was it overseas?"

"In all honesty ma'am convincing the MACUSA that we are doing everything in our capability to keep our issues here in house was a bit harder than expected but they did want me to tell you that if you needed help they would gladly give the aurors." Kingsley smiled at her as he took a seat.

"Good the last thing I need is for the public to know how fucked our current situation is. I want you to begin pulling resumes of possible recruits and going to Hogwarts to see any who are coming in and tell me what you think about them. Keep an eye out in the younger years too, anyone from fifth year and up." Amelia said after fixing her desk.

"You got it boss." He rose before stopping. "Amelia…are you alright?"

Amelia looked up at him and sighed. "I could never hide anything from you, Sirius, and James…" She took out the file and handed it to him.

"The Silver Dementor?" He asked as he opened the file and looked in at it. "I could look into this with some of my contacts if you wish."

"No, it just brought up some bad memories… Besides Kingsley, I'm sure Rufus has a few cases he needs your eyes on."

"You got it Amelia…just know my offer is there."

"I appreciate it alot Kingsley. You're dismissed."

Harry sighed as he finished the book he had been reading and sat it to the side. It was kind of boring to be honest and he had simply reread it due to his father using it as a punishment for flying in the house on his training broom again. After a moment of deliberation he decided he'd go outside and see what was around majorly.

"Master Harry, wait." He heard the voice of Samual stop him in his rush as he began to run out.

"Samual…" Harry drew out. "Please stop calling me Master Harry. It's weird."

"Only when alone then Young Mas….Harry." Samual spoke up. "Now I do recall that the young Lord Longbottom, and Lady Bones would be making a stop out here due to their guardians wanting to discuss certain situations regarding his inherited business from his father." Samual handed him a bag for he knew where the boy was going.

"Okay Samuel." He smiled at the house elf before he began to run out the door and out into the yard as fast as he could. Specifically he was running to the pens where the black skeletal horses… Thestrals his dad told him they were called when he told him about them earlier and he felt so amazed by the creatures for they were actually quite docile to the point it impressed Harry. He jumped on the post next to the corral and smiled as they approached him. He reached into the bag that Samual had given him and pulled out a piece of meat and threw it towards a young one which began to eat it after a moment of making sure it was indeed food.

Harry couldn't help but stare in wonder before he heard a noise which weirded the child out briefly. He turned his head softly to hear it better.

"Meat…so hungry…must find meat so tired." The voice made Harry look around.

"Hello?" Yet the child saw no one.

"The child hears me?" The voice seemed to question and had grown louder. It wasn't until Harry noticed the brown cord wrap itself on the post beside him. "Hello, Speaker." It surprised Harry and he turned around looking everywhere before back at the serpent.

"Are you speaking to me?" Harry asked confusedly. He had to admit this was actually quite strange to say the least.

"Indeed Speaker, May I ask… Do you have any meat you were not feeding to the Thestrals?" Harry chuckled softly and gently looked in the bag until he pulled out a portion and placed it on the stump next to the serpent which after a moment's deliberation launched its mouth at the meat pulling it back and consuming it slowly. "Thank you speaker." The serpent bowed its head to Harry out of kindness.

"Why do you keep calling me that?" Harry asked.

"Forgive me, young speaker. I call you speaker because that is what all serpentkin refer to the people who can communicate with us." It began to explain. "It is quite rare in these lands though."

"You're telling me most people can't do this?" Harry asked, now fully interested.

"Yes… due to your dark lords though it has gained a negative sight in the eyes of many. To speak to a serpent like myself makes you what is called a Parselmouth. Someone that can speak Parseltongue which in human terms means snake speak." The snake continued itself. "I do not recommend showing this ability, young speaker. Most are fearful of it. Keep this close to your heart and only use it in private."

Harry frowned but nodded. His reading had shown him the tales of dark lords who possessed this ability and thus concluded that the snake was correct. "Understood Thank you." Harry bowed his head gently to the serpent before giving it the rest of the few pieces of meat that had remained in the bag.

"Farewell Speaker, till our next commune."Soon the serpent slithered away and Harry turned to return to the manor to which he heard his father setting up a few things.

"Ah there you are Harry." James spoke up, feeling his son's eyes on him. He turned and smiled. "How are the thestrals, son?"

Harry thought to tell his father what he had just learned but the serpent's warning thus told him to wait. "They're doing pretty good. Juniper is starting to get a bit bigger. Can I ride her soon dad?"

"Give it a few more years Harry." James chuckled "Besides Neville and Susan will soon be here for you three to play while me and their guardians talk."

Harry felt a chill go up his spine since he recalled interactions with Neville's grandma Augusta Longbottom. "God… I feel bad for you dad."

"You and me both…" It caused both father and son to laugh at this before gently shaking their heads before the fire roared. First the Longbottoms and then the Bones, plus Sirius, arrived.

"Alright kids, go have fun, but be warned that Samual is going to be keeping an eye on you three and will come grab you when Dinner is done." James said softly and smiled at the three as they ran out laughing.

"Now, I believe we can finally discuss something alone and away from prying eyes." Amelia spoke at last.

"James… We need to talk about the something Trixie told me." Sirius said softly and casted a silencing charm on the room.

"I've asked Madam Longbottom to be here because in all reality I think she deserves to hear what is said as well for this could aid us in getting her a fair trial."

"Why would I help you give that death eater a trial?"

"Because she was not in control at all. And I have proof but that's not the only reason we're here."

"What's going on Sirius?" James finally asked sick of all these hidden messages.

Sirius sighed. "The Dark Mark is still on her arm… she… She thinks it's a sign."

Everyone in the room stared at Sirius as he took a deep breath and looked at them all and in particular James.

"She thinks it's a sign Voldemort is still alive."
