Nathalie was surprised that Mr. Agreste hadn't come into the kitchen yet, as the smell of chocolate had been wafting through the mansion all morning.

She had left Adrien alone in the kitchen with the latest batch of cookies while she checked up on her emails. Grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl she kept, she bit into it, wrinkling her nose.

Apples had a sweet taste and a good solid crunch. So why did this apple taste like smoke? Smoke. Left Adrien alone….Oh, no! Nathalie logged off and raced towards the kitchen.

Sure enough, Adrien was on his phone, scrolling through pictures of Ladybug. "Nathalie!" Adrien looked up from his phone, "the cookies are done!" Nathalie nodded mutely as there was a loud poof! Sound and large flames begin shooting out of the oven.

Adrien, unaware, wiggled his fingers over the goods. "Maybe I should try one?" Nathalie sprayed the oven, setting the extinguisher down and pushed her glasses up her nose. Adrien and kitchen fires seemed to go together these days, but at least he was willing to try.

"Adrien!" Nathalie gasped as one lonely cookie now sat on one of three trays. "How did you eat all those cookies in such a short time?"

"Uh…" Adrien's brain froze while he pushed Plagg deeper into his apron pocket. "I'm really hungry?" Nathalie laughed, ruffling his hair. "I won't be reporting this to Mr. Agreste today," she grinned, snatching up the last cookie.

"But where's my cookies?" Ladybug crossed her arms later that afternoon. "Here," Adrien handed her a lonely cookie, scratching the back of his neck. "Sorry, um, love carbs." "Come on," Ladybug said, taking his hand and marching him towards the doorway.

"Your lucky your girlfriend's parents run a bakery." Adrien's stomach rumbled. Plagg had eaten most of the cookies not him. But when did Plagg start liking cookies? Hm….
