With this being the seventh chapter and in honor of the seven sins, here is a Lucifer-based chapter :3 It's a little on the shorter side but I have work today so it'll do for now lol

Enjoy everyone!

The last time I spoke to Heaven, it was about the priorities of Hell and our population issues with sinners.

It was point-blank. They wanted to regulate the amount of sinners in Hell and they wanted to do it the way they saw fit. There was no room for argument. They wanted what they wanted, and I learned long before that Heaven gets what it wants.

I gritted my teeth and I sat silently in the chair across where the other angel's hologram would appear.

But this time, the tables have been turned.

This time, they will listen.

Suddenly, a familiar figure appeared across from me as I moved to rest my life elbows on the table and bring my joint hands up so I could rest my chin upon it.

Or pay for their ignorance.

"Lucifer." The much taller angel spoke with little to no emotion as she leaned back in her chair.

"Sera." I used the same tone she presented as I leaned back in my chair as well. After all, we were going to be here for a while based upon her greeting on its own.

"You demanded my presence as soon as possible and I cannot understand what could be so urgent from you, brother."

"Well, sister," I brought my hands down so they could rest in my lap as I narrowed my eyes toward her. "We have a bit of an important situation and our dear friend Adam would not be the best person to deal with it as it is a sensitive subject and actually has your favorite little man involved." Sera gave me a curious look as I continued. "During the last extermination that your people conducted, there was an incident that I doubt you were told about but must be investigated and given punishment for as soon as possible." I let all the venom I could muster come into my voice as Sera seemed to eye me curiously still.

"And what kind of incident are we talking about, brother?"

"A fallen angel. One forced from Heaven for refusing to kill."

"Refusing to kill? An extermination angel? Do you know if they have killed before?"

"I do not see where that matters, but yes, they have followed orders up until that point. They couldn't bring themselves to kill a child sinner and that is when the incident occurred." Sera took a serious tone before answering me firmly.

"Disobedience in the Heavens in itself that brings about punishment, Lucifer. You of all people should know."

"But having your wings pulled from your spine and your eye cut from your socket is punishment too demonic for an angel, don't you think?" I tilted my head with a smirk as Sera looked at if she was a young deer in headlights.

"What did you just say?"

"Their wings would ripped from their body, sister." My voice echoed the venom from before as a serious look took over my features. "Their eye cut from their socket and stabbed like meat on a skewer. My daughter witnessed it and I met with the angel who backed her claims."

"Blasphemous!" Sera nearly spat in my direction with how much disgust she had in her reaction. "No angel would take the job of the counsel and-"

"But your dearest Adam did. Along with another named Lute." Silence hung in the air between us for a few moments before I took a deep breath and stood from my chair. "Now you know that I have been very understanding of your requests and even been reasonable in response to your damnation to my people. I understand that Heaven and Father have their reasons for everything. But this? This sister is beyond reasonable. It's sick and inhumane in such a way that it makes all of Heaven look just as hideous as the sinners I keep in my domain." I moved from my chair to get closer to Sera's projection while gliding my hand slowly across the long white table. "Killing sinners is one thing. Especially when they kill themselves on the daily. But leaving a fellow angel so close to death to rot on their own?" I stop just shy of a few feet from her as I felt the horns start to spout from my head and a bit of fire rage in my eyes.

"Heaven just made themselves look just as bad as the rest of them." I growled out my words as I watched Sera shutter in her seat. "Now how must we deal with this, sister?"

"I will speak with the counsel." She rose from her seat with a somber voice before dusting off her long white dress and giving me her full attention. "It will be of our highest importance."

"I better hear good things from this, Sera." I let myself relax as I felt the horns go back into my skull. "The poor thing had suffered enough and deserves justice for the actions taken against them. I know Father would agree whole heartedly if he knew the damages they had been done."

"I do not know if the counsel will consult him-"

"Oh you must consult him." I narrowed my eyes at her once more before leaning up on the table to get a little closer to her directly. "He knows all, Sera. He will be most displeased if you keep another secret from him."

"I will speak to God personally then."

"Good." I relaxed my voice before leaning back into a normal standing position. "I better hear of punishment for Adam and Lute. I want notice of the trial and I will be sure to make attendance along with my daughter."

"And what about the angel?"

"Bring her into the lion's den? I would rather burn all of Heaven than see the outcome that would bring." I scuffed at her question before crossing my arms over my chest. "My daughter is quite attached to the young angel and I am certain that she as well would rather fight all of Heaven than let any of you lay any eyes on her friend again. Even then, with how things are as of right now, what would stop any of you from silencing her forever?"

"Then what is her name? At least you can give me that."

"Vaggie Motha." I watched as a shocked look took over Sera's face as I continued. "And if any more harm is done to her, I will be sure to slaughter whoever lays a hand upon that woman. She's under Hell's protection now and as long as she's a friend of my daughter, she's under my protection specifically."

"But she-. She was one of the top exterminators. Why would Adam-?" Sera seemed to be at a loss for words as I just let her gather her thoughts on the subject. She took a deep breath before releasing it slowly and giving me a stern nod. "I will investigate this to my greatest ability, Lucifer. I can promise you that."

"I truly hope so, Sera." I gave a nod in reply before uncrossing my arms and adjusting my waist coat. "Anything that you would like to speak of?"

"Not at this time, brother."

"Then our meeting is over." We both gave another nod to one another before I turned to grab my cane that was leaning against the chair. Before I could leave completely, Sera's voice called out to me.

"Lucifer," I turned my attention toward the other angel with a curious look. "I can tell how much this means to you. I know it must be hard to see a fellow angel on such a place. I thank you for bringing this to my attention and being reasonable in your response to the situation."

"I'm doing what is best for Vaggie." I turned my attention away from Sera so I could grab my cane and magic a portal beside me. "She means a lot to Charlie and she's a good person and trust me," I let the fire come back into my eyes as I gave Sera one last glance.

"If it was up to me, both those bastards would be dead already for what they did to her."
