Hunt For The Mystical Medals

First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, in which the Detective Conan crew are working on how to find and rescue Ayumi after she is said to be kidnapped, while the villains from Gunsmith Cats make the rounds in targeting Shinchi Kudo.

At an undisclosed hideout, Ranidov just left as she is getting ready to begin her search for her target, but then she turn around to head back in as she seemed to forget something, and upon entering, she saw two burglars looking for something to steal, and the two burglars found heroin, which they suggest selling it.
By then they saw the picture of Shinichi Kudo stamped on the wall, where they commented that they saw him despite the fact that Kudo's hairstyle did not hide the fact that Ankh is possessing him. The burglars then commented that Kudo may have let success get to his head and decided to try out a new hair style, which they snickered as it only made Kudo look like a delinquent.
"Looks like Shinichi Kudo is getting more overconfident…"
"Yeah…"
"Now he thinks he's Son Goku…imagine…dyeing his hair blond and standing up…he thinks he's a SUPER SAIYAN…"
"Maybe he got addicted in watching Dragon Ball Super…"
"Well, he's going to fail…"
"Yeah, he hasn't been on the public eye for some time."
"Maybe he ran out of cases to solve…"
"Poor him…"
The burglars did not notice that Radinove came back, and after listening to their comments, she decided to make her move, as she is intent on finding Kudo at the fastest possible time, and she intend to finish it so that she can get her reward as quickly as possible.
There Ranidov shoots down the burglar and aimed her gun at the other, demanding to know where Shinichi Kudo is, and the terrified burglar told her what he knows.
"Talk."
"Whoa! Don't shoot me!"
"Where is he?"
"Who?"
"Shinichi Kudo."
"Okay! I'll tell you!"
"Hurry."
"He's…"
After getting the answer she needed, Randinov smirked as she believes she has found her target, and mercilessly kills the remaining burglar, then she took her belongings as she moves to another hideout as she appeared to be lazy in disposing the corpses.
Several minutes later, two police cars arrived after getting a tip that gunshots are heard, and as they entered the house, they saw the two burglars sprawled on the floor, with multiple gunshot wounds, mostly on the head.
As the first cop is checking on the corpses, the other saw the wall where Shinichi Kudo's pictures are posted, with a knife jabbed on the picture, and realized that someone intend to assassinate the teen detective, and told his colleague about this.
"What?"
"That's what I think!"
"Are you serious?"
"Do I look like I'm joking?"
"We got to call HQ and tell them what we found out!"
"Right!"
"Come on!"
"I'm on it!"
As the cops are about to call for back-up, they noticed a bomb planted there, and saw the timer, realizing that there is no time for them to make a safe escape, as the timer is now just 00:05 away from detonating.
"Whoa!"
"A bomb!"
"Run!"
"Shit!"
"We won't make it!"
"Damn!"
"Help!"
"Wah!"
The house exploded, as the components consists of powerful chemicals that would render everything destroyed and leave no trace behind, and the explosion was so strong that it shattered the windows and glasses of nearby houses and establishments, and people were caught by the blasts and they can be heard screaming in terror.

Several minutes later, several fire trucks and ambulances arrived, and are shocked at the scene where shrapnel and debris are scattered all over, with many people injured as they lay on the ground, and most of the scenes shown where blood is splattered all over, and the medics are quite horrified at what they are seeing, and wondered if this is the work of a terrorist, unaware that Radinov is the perpetrator, as it is her hobby to leave time bombs behind and set them off remotely.
There you can hear so many victims moaning in pain, and some are wailing for help, which became a desperate struggle due to the high number of people who are seriously injured due to the explosion caused by a powerful bomb that Radinov set off.
"Help…"
"Save me…"
"Where am I…?"
"I'm going to die…"
"Someone…"
"Anyone…"
"I want to live…"
"Goodbye…"
As more ambulances arrived, the medics are slightly overwhelmed at the high amount of injured people seen, and they wondered if this is really the work of terrorists or if some delinquent gangsters are going too far, as they felt that whoever the perpetrator is, that person is indeed a callous, murderous fiend to the strongest term.
"Man…"
"This is terrible…"
"I can't believe this…"
"Whoever did this…"
"A hell of a monster."
"Terrorists…?"
"Could be."
"Damn."
SWAT members arrived as they surveyed the area, and soon bomb experts checked the area, where they found the source of the explosion, and though dismayed that the area has been decimated which leave no clues, they somewhat have an idea that the culprit may be a foreigner given how the culprit pulled off a very strong bomb blast.
Then they found the dismembered remains of the two burglars, and yet the bomb experts were somewhat shaken at the fact that the culprit went to great lengths just to kill someone inside this house and make sure that there won't be any evidence that would identify the suspect, and they began to look around to see if they could identify what components are used to create such a powerful explosion.
The SWAT team leader is having a rather worst time, as he heard that the police are being swamped by reports of missing girls, and now this, and his assistant commented that this incident would sure cause a PR nightmare for the mayor, which the SWAT team leader agreed.
"Damn."

"This is a nightmare."
"I agree."
"The mayor is going to have a hard time."
"Indeed."
"Missing girls is one thing, but this…"
"That's life."

At the police station, Inspector Juzo Megure is talking with Kogoro Mori, as the latter requested for some assistance in regards to the missing underage girls and the murder of the victims' parents, which the inspector nodded, saying that he would surely offer any way to help in the investigation, as he confided to Kogoro that the cases have been increasing since a few weeks ago, and admitted that the Metropolitan Police Force is having difficulty due to lack of witnesses.
Kogoro looked on and is concerned when told of this, and said that whoever is behind this, the mastermind has to be very cunning and sure knows how to make a step ahead and managed to avoid detection and carry out the crimes without alerting anyone.
"I'm sure we are facing someone."
"Yeah."
"And it's someone who is not what we expect…"
"Indeed."
"Looks like we have to exert efforts."
"I agree. I'll see if we could increase police visibility…"
"Anything will do."
"Good to hear."
Suddenly, a news flash was aired on TV, where a TV reporter reported about the explosion that happened several minutes ago, and there Megure and Kogoro saw the live footage and are shocked at the scene that they just saw, and both men realized that they are going to be quite busy as problems are piling up one after another.
Megure then told Kogoro to talk to his secretary and ask her whatever he need and she will give it, as he tells Kogoro that he is going to the blast site to see if he could help in the investigation, and there he tells Kogoro to let him know if he find any lead that would lead them to the hideout of the kidnappers and the kidnapped victims, which Kogoro nodded and promised to inform him at once.
"Okay, got it."
"Just talk to my secretary. She'll fill you in."
"Okay."
"I'll be leaving now."
"Be careful."
"You too"
"Good luck."
"Thanks."

Elsewhere, Ran Mori commenced her own investigation, with Kyuji and Ai joining her, and the trio stealthily infiltrated one of the crime scenes and looked around, hoping to find a lead that might help shed light in this, and as Ran and Kyuji kept on looking, Ai noticed something and told the others about it, where Kyuji discovered a hidden CCTV at the wall near the ceiling.
Tracing it, they found the tape and look for something where they can play the footage, and once they find it, the trio began laying the tape, and both Ran and Kyuji stared wide-eyed, horrified at the discovery that they made, in which the footage showed a sequence of events that led to this complex crime, with Ai watching on as well and the scenes of the footage revealed the following:
One of the girls who was reported missing arrived home;
The parents were seen to be relieved at seeing that their child arrived safely;
Then the girl brought out what appeared to be a silencer gun, and aimed it at her parents;
The girl shoots her parents on their heads to ensure their deaths;
The girl then hid the gun and left the house as if nothing has happened
Ran, covered her mouth as she is speechless at what the girl did to her parents, and both Ai and Kyuji noticed that the girl's facial expression is somewhat strange, as if she appeared to be unaware of what she is doing, and Ran assumed that hypnosis played a part, though Ai suggests that certain drug-like intervention may have played a role here.
"Really, Ai?"
"That's what I suspect."
"Seriously?"
"There are drugs that do things like what that girl has done."
"…"
"And it would take a cunning mind to come up with a drug like that…"
"No way…"
"Also…"
As Ran listens, Ai explained her theory, and there she came up with an idea on how to locate the kidnappers and the victims, and Ran appeared hesitant as she felt that Ai's idea is too risky, though Ai said that it won't be a problem because Kyuji will be their backup.
Kyuji blinked his eyes at hearing this until he realized what she meant, and Ran asked Kyuji what does Ai mean, and he smiled as he tells her that Ai's plan would work, as he said that he will handle the rest, thus he tells Ran to have faith in Ai, saying that this would be their best shot in locating the kidnappers' hideout.
"Are you serious, Kyuji?"
"Yes."
"…"
"Don't worry. leave it to me."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
"Okay."
"Huh?"
Suddenly, a group of muggers entered the crime scene, and are armed with dangerous weapons, ranging from the following:
- Molotov
- Grenades
- Knives
- guns
The muggers appeared to be fascinated by Ran's beauty and the leader told his goons to get rid of Kyuji and Ai, as he will enjoy raping Ran, which the goons nodded and encouraged him to show Ran who is the boss.
"Go get her!"
"Show her who's boss!"
"Rape her!"
"Do a BDSM!"
"Make a porn film!"
"Make her a porn star!"
"Hurry boss!"
"We want to see a sex scene!"
Ran gritted her teeth seeing that the goons are armed with explosives, and thus she couldn't risk getting hurt as well as to avoid any kind of explosion, but Kyuji told Ran that he will handle this, as he puts on the O-Driver and inserted the three Core Medals and scanned them with the Medal Scanner to initiate his transformation.
O-Scanner: "KUWAGATA…TORA…CHEETAH!"
The muggers stared in surprise as Kyuji transformed into Kamen Rider O's, assuming the sub-combo of GATA-RA-TAH, and uses the stag beetle horns to produce electricity to dissolve the Molotov and grenades, then he uses the cheetah legs to move at fast speed and did a fast, but strong punches which struck the muggers and knocked them out.
After that Ran and Ai tied up the muggers before leaving, as Kyuji deactivated the O-Driver and reverted back to normal, and the trio leaves the crime scene after calling the police via smartphone, and once the trio are out of sight, the police arrived and found the muggers, and began taking them away.

Hope you liked this chapter, as the Detective Conan crew are bracing themselves in preparing a rescue mission to find and rescue Ayumi, who is among the missing girls abducted while discovering what their fates have become.
Ankh is now in danger as Radinov is targeting him due to believing that he is Shinichi Kudo, unaware that Ankh is possessing Shinichi's body to keep him alive…
Kyuji, Ran and Ai are now going to commence a plan to locate the hideout where the missing girls are taken…
