First off, many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc picks up where the last chapter left, in which the Gunsmith Cats are on the move as they appear in this chapter.
Shinichi Kudo is about to be targeted as well and a few familiar faces would pop up somewhere here…
And now the Black Organization is making a move…

The scene shows that Ankh, who is possessing Shinichi's body, is at an area within Edogawa, and is holding the brochure which shows the direction of where he wants to go, and he is somewhat pleased that he get to go somewhere alone without Kyuji nagging him, and without Ran using her karate techniques to hold him down, as well as getting away from Shiho, who is making CUTE gesture to scare him down.
Since he did not sense any Yummy or any of the Greed, Ankh felt that it is a good time for him to enjoy for once, and as he walked forward, he did not notice that he is being followed, who turns out to be Radinov, and there she saw Ankh, in which she mistook him for Shinichi because of his face, and the Russian assassin was able to recognize Shinichi despite his hair's color and style.
As Radinov is secretly following Ankh, she overheard two passing person, talking about an ice cream convention, saying that it is a good place to unwind after problems plagued them.
"That convention is great."
"Yeah."
"We get to get free ice creams…"
"With so many flavors…"
"Wish Ayumi were here…"
"That's why we bought a pint…we'll give her some once she's found and rescued…"
"Let's not forget Conan…"
"Right."
The two persons in question turn out to be Mitsuhiko Tsuburaya and Genta Kojima, and they just left the convention after binging on the ice creams that are featured at the convention, and they brought with them two gallons of ice cream which they intend to share with the others once Ayumi is found and rescued, and are hoping to see Conan and Ai again.
Radinov ignored the two Detective Boys members as she continue to trail Ankh, as he kept moving forward, and she intend not to let her target out of her sight as she stakes her reputation as a hired assassin on the line, not knowing that Shinichi is currently in a coma whose body is currently possessed by the Greed Ankh.
She kept her eye on her target as she intend to strike him down when least expected, though she had to restrain herself as there are people passing by and if a commotion took place her target might hide through the crowd and escape, hence Radinov decided to be a bit patient and wait for the right time before going for the kill.
After a few minutes Ankh arrived at the convention center where people are lining up and he could catch the scent of ice creams, which he smirked as he would get to have a free taste to his heart's content while other customers who were lining up commented that ice creams of different flavors will be on display and they would get free tasting on which flavor would be the best.
"I heard that new flavors are on display…"
"And the new flavors are said to be delicious…"
"Vanilla…pistachio…avocado…"
"Hearing it makes me drool…"
"Glad there's a free taste…"
"I can't wait to get in…"
"Me too…"
"Ha-ha-ha…"
After a few minutes the queuing customers are allowed to go in, with Ankh among them, and as soon as he got in, Radinov followed, not wanting to lose sight of her target and made sure that he won't get far, shoving a few patrons along the way.
However, Radinov wasn't the only assassin to come here, as two Americans are seen lining up as well and are about to go inside the convention center. A male and a female, who are in their 20s, they are siblings and identified as Bonnie and Clyde, and they are eyeing Ankh, as it turn out that they were contracted to assassinate Kaito Kid, and mistook Ankh as Kaito Kid due to their facial similarities despite Ankh's SPIKY HAIR color style.
"Bonnie…look…"
"Is that him?"
"No doubt. That's the Kaito Kid..."
"What's with that hairstyle?"
"A poor disguise. He can't fool us."
"We better get in there, Clyde..."
"Yeah…we got to nail him down."
"Right…"
Bonnie and Clyde had no idea that they are about to encounter trouble which would commence in a matter of minutes not knowing that they are targeting the wrong target.

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at Shinjuku, where Akira Toudou and Shintaro Gotoh arrived outside of what looked like a private warehouse, where what appeared to be a convention is taking place, and there Gotoh is surprised after being debriefed about what is taking place inside there, and they are going to infiltrate the place by pretending to be customers.
Toudou said that he will pretend to inquire while Gotoh will try to secretly take pictures that would serve as evidence, and Gotoh asked if this would be okay as they are here by themselves, and Toudou said that everything will be okay as he reminded him of their BACKUP PLAN in case things get out of hand and how to address it.
"Remember what we discussed earlier…"
"…"
"We'll resort to THAT if things take an unexpected turn."
"You mean…?"
"Yeah."
"Still…"
"Think of it as an opportunity to try it out…"
"I see…"
Nodding, Gotoh went with Toudou and entered the warehouse, where it is filled with customers, though mostly men, and to Gotoh's surprise, the convention revealed that instead of food or clothes or gadgets, the ones being on display are illegal drugs, ranging from marijuana to LSD up to cocaine. Also included are other dangerous drugs which Gotoh is familiar with, including:
- Bath salts
- Ecstasy
- Flakka
- Heroin
- Krokodil
- Methamphetamines
- Mushroom
- Salvia
Toudou and Gotoh looked around, seeing that there are several men acting as vendors as they are selling the illegal drugs like merchandise, and are selling them to any customers who could afford the fixed price, and you could hear the drug dealers acting like merchants selling goods at the market.
"Hello...please by our items..."
"They are cheaper..."
"...they are in good working condition..."
"You can try them if you like..."
"I promise you will like them..."
"I promise you will get your money's worth..."
"Here are the items on our display..."
"Pick the one you like..."
Gotoh began to secretly take pictures of the hidden drug trade while Toudou pretend to be a customer asking if they would offer a discount, which the sellers said that the prices are already at a fixed rate and cannot offer discounted prices.
"Sorry…"
"No discount…"
"Our products are already on a fixed rate…"
"Therefore we can't lower the price…"
"That's that…"
"Hope you understand…"
"No hard feelings…"
"Be a good sport…"
After that, Toudou approached Gotoh and asked how things are, which he tells him that this is worse than what he expected, as he never thought that someone has brains to organize a bazaar of illegal drugs and how it attracted potential buyers, and said that he wish that he could contact his colleagues at the Metropolitan Police Department.
Toudou said that he would get the chance once they find the mastermind behind this bazaar and there they can take down this group before calling the police.
"Being a former cop, you must know that you have to be patient."
"…"
"So keep your cool for now "
"I…"
"We'll get the chance when the time is right…"
"I…understand…"
"So be a bit patient."
"Okay."
Soon another group of potential buyers arrived, who turn out to be the Brandy group of the Black Organization, where the Brandy group members consists of:
- Korn
- Chianti
- Armagnac
- Cognac
- Eau-De-Vie
- Schnapps
- Obstwasser
There Korn approached one of the warehouse operators and said that they would like to speak to the one in charge to do a lucrative business, which the operator tells Korn to wait as he would talk to his boss.
"Can you wait?"
"Why?"
"Our boss is inside…I need to tell him first before deciding on whether he wants to meet you or not…"
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"Fine."
"Just wait for a while."
"Okay.A"
The operator left for a moment as the Brandy group waited, and there Chianti asked Korn why they come here as a group when Korn himself could handle the deal, but Korn told her that Anokata said so thus they will trust his judgment.
"The boss said so."
"Really?"
"Yeah."
"What's the point of us being here…"
"Anokata knows what's best."
"Is that so?"
"Yeah."
"…"
By then the mastermind behind the drug bazaar appeared, who is an American and identified only as Gray, and there he began to speak with Korn and the two men began to discuss business, which appeared to be productive as both sides are amiable to the price and how to deliver the drugs without worrying about being caught.
Gotoh secretly recorded the two men while making sure he isn't caught, and as he is about to record other activities, a pair of men noticed Gotoh, who turn out to be corrupt cops who are engaging in the illegal drugs trade.
They shouted at Gotoh and said that he is a cop, and Gotoh recognize the two cops and is dismayed to find out that some law enforcers are dabbling in the illegal drug trade. There Gotoh attempted to lie his way out by saying that he already quit the MPD and wanted to try this business to support himself financially.
Gray appeared to be swayed and asked Gotoh if he is telling the truth, which Gotoh pretended to be honest in order to throw off Gray and not arouse suspicion.
"So you really quit the police force?"
"Yes. The salary isn't enough. Someone told me about this bazaar and I thought I should try my luck here."
"Really?"
"Yes, really."
"If so…"
"Allow me to work for you. I want to earn big."
"Hmm…"
"I promise I would…"
However, the corrupt cops said that Gotoh is a law-abiding cop and that he would spill the beans about this place and urged Gray to kill Gotoh.
Seeing that the corrupt cops have a point, Gray motions his men to draw their guns and aim at Gotoh, and there Gotoh finds himself in a pinch as he needed room to try and take cover, but he is surrounded and both Korn and Chianti smirked as they get to see a spy getting killed.
