Hunt For The Mystical Medals

Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here a new story arc takes place…and this will shake the plot foundation as Ankh takes the spotlight once more…and the villains here would be dragged in…especially with a NEW CHARACTER who is now the CENTER OF ATTENTION…

And now this is happening as Ankh and the Detective Conan gang are about to get into an encounter not only the Black Organization but also the one who seemingly has TIES with Ankh himself…

As Kaitou Kid uses the paraglider to get some distance while in the air, he is baffled as to what is going on here, as he is sure that Ankh, the Greed who inhabited the comatose body of Shinichi Kudo, is currently unable to spawn a Yummy since regaining four of his Core Medals, and he wondered if this is the case or not, and he wondered if he should contact Ankh and Kyuji, as they are the ones who could deal with a Yummy.

However, his trail of thoughts were disrupted when peacock feathers struck the paraglider before exploding, and Kaitou Kid was falling down and landed near an unmanned warehouse, just as Kogoro Mori happened to pass by after solving a minor case. He is surprised to see Kaitou Kid before being startled by the sight of the Kujaku Yummy.

"Huh? The Kaitou Kid...and…"

"SSSSKKKRRREEE…"

"What the…"

"SSSSKKKRRREEE…"

"Is this for real…?"

"SSSSKKKRRREEE…"

"Or rather…"

"SSSSKKKRRREEE…"

As the Kujaku Yummy landed and confronted the two, the Yummy is about to unleash another devastating attack when someone showed up, who turn out to be Ankh himself, currently possessing the body of Shinichi Kudo and there his MONSTER RIGHT HAND manifested and jabbed his fingers onto the back of the Kujaku Yummy and fired a fireblast, causing a hole on the Yummy's chest before its whole body exploded and reduced to Cell Medals.

As Ankh collected and absorbed the Cell Medals, Kaitou Kid is baffled at what he just saw, and began to realize that Ankh didn't spawn the Yummy as he finds it questionable that Ankh would destroy a Yummy he created, and seeing that Ankh did that, Kaitou slowly realized that Ankh wasn't behind this, and wondered who spawned a bird-type Yummy in the first place.

Shiho showed up and commented that this is the second time encountering something like this and Ankh said that he is close to sensing on who spawned the bird-type Yummy and couldn't wait to beat the hell out of whoever is behind this, which baffled both Kaitou Kid and Kogoro as Ankh and Shiho bickered, as she reminded him that they are alone and that they should have called for Kyuji.

"Ankh! Simmer down…"

"I can't! Not when I'm this close…"

"We should call Kyuji and…"

"You do that! I can't wait!"

"If it's a Greed...then…"

"I can handle it!"

"Will you stop being stubborn…"

"Just can it already!"

However, Kaitou saw Vermouth and the Conan-lookalike stealthily entering the unmanned warehouse, and this earned Kaitou Kid's suspicion, as he began to wonder if the female member of the Black Organization is behind this and now he is going to gather proof to prove his suspicions, and tells Kogoro to head to Agasa's house and tell Kyuji about the incident.

"Mr. Mori...you know Professor Agasa, right?"

"How did you…"

"Contact him…and tell him to inform Kyuji Hino about this location…"

"Why are you…"

"Tell them about a Yummy and a Greed…and they will get the drift…"

"What…what are you…"

"I'll be counting on you…"

"W-wait…"

Ch. 152: Kurōn sa reta karada, 2tsu no anku, kingu no keiji part 3

As Kaitou Kid left and head for the warehouse, Kogoro was baffled by what he was told, but then he saw Shiho and Ankh running past him, and there Shiho told Ankh to slow down and call Kyuji for help, worried that there might be another Yummy or a Greed nearby, as well as saying that he shouldn't abuse himself, reminding him that he is using Shinichi's body for the time being.

However, Ankh assured to her that Shinichi's body is well taken cared of and as long as he is possessing Shinichi's body, the teen detective is safe for now and tells Shiho not to worry about anything else and tells her to contact Kyuji at once, while he would find out which Greed is spawning a bird-type Yummy other than Ankh himself.

"Ankh! Will you simmer down and…"

"I told you that I can't! I'm getting closer to find out who is using my Core Medals to spawn bird Yummies and…"

"If it's a Greed then we should wait! We should call Kyuji and…"

"You do that! I can't wait!"

"What if it's someone like Kazari? Off it is him...then…"

"I can handle it!"

"Will you stop being stubborn…"

"Just can it already!"

Kogoro was surprised to hear that revelation, and as he scooted closer to Shiho, who brought out her smartphone, and she accidentally activated the speaker and there Agasa's voice spoke on her smartphone, and Shiho tells Agasa' to tell Kyuji of her and Ankh's current situation and location, and after that she ran towards the unmanned warehouse, which Kogoro stealthily followed, as he wanted to get answers about what is happening and to know if what Shiho said is true about Shinichi being possessed.

The scene shifts inside the unmanned warehouse where Ankh is already inside, with Shiho joining him, where she berated him for acting so rash, though he said that it is justified as he said that he could sense another Greed within the vicinity yet he said that the vibes he felt were familiar but are said that it doesn't belong to either Kazari, Uva, Mezeru or Gameru.

"What?"

"You heard me."

"…"

"Its neither Kazari or Uva...and definitely not Mezeru or Gameru..."

"Then…it's another Greed...?"

"Who knows…that's why I want to find out…"

"…"

"!"

Suddenly, Vermouth showed up, and gingerly greeted Shiho, telling her that it has been quite a long while since they last met, and as Shiho clenched her fists, Ankh sensed something and went straight to the point, asking Vermouth if she is involved in the Bird Yummy situation a while ago, which surprised Shiho, and there Vermouth commented that Ankh has learned to use intuition after spending so much time possessing Shinichi's comatose body.

Shiho stared wide-eyed in surprise, as she had no idea that Vermouth is aware of Shinichi's condition and that Ankh is possessing Shinichi's body, and there Shiho demanded to know how Vermouth found out about that, as she is sure that no one knows about this secret, yet Vermouth smiled alluringly in response, enjoying in seeing Shiho's shocked reaction.

By then, Gin and Lager's group emerged, as they were here minutes ago as they have been using the warehouse to conduct secret dealings, and Gin was equally surprised to hear that Shinichi is alive, but is baffled about Shinichi's body being possessed, and he asked Vermouth what she meant about what she said just now, curious to know how this happened.

"Vermouth."

"Oh, Gin."

"Did I hear you correctly?"

"Hmm…?"

"Shinichi Kudo is alive?"

"Oh."

"And you knew all this time but didn't tell me…or the Black Organization?"

"Well…if you're patient…I'll tell you later…"

Gin twitched his eye as Vermouth teasingly asked him to be patient as she promised that he will get his answer, and there she tells Ankh that the Yummy that went after Shiho a few days ago came from Gin, surprising the Spirits sub-group leader, and Vodka was equally surprised, and asked her how she know about that, which Vermouth playfully winked at him before shifting her attention back at Ankh, who is visibly irritated while Shiho couldn't believe what she just heard.

Then Vermouth said to Ankh that she is about to INTRODUCE the newest member of the Black Organization, and there she gave the signal, where her co-member of the Fortified Wine sub-group of the Black Organization, Port, entered the fray, and with her is the Conan-lookalike, which surprised both Ankh and Shiho, as the Conan-lookalike is a spitting image of Conan Edogawa, except that he is not wearing glasses of any sort, and that the left side of his hair has a bright tint of red color.

Vermouth then introduced him as Conankh, which is a portmanteau of Conan and Ankh, and as Shiho was staring in disbelief at how this happened, Ankh glared at Conankh, but became apprehensive as he sensed a VIBE from Conankh, and there Conankh, glaring back at Ankh, raised his left hand, where it revealed his MONSTER HAND form, shocking Ankh as well as Shiho, seeing that the MONSTER HAND form of Conankh is the same as Ankh's right MONSTER HAND form.

"Ankh! Look!"

"What the…?"

"His left hand…!"

"…"

"It's the same as your right hand form!"

"Damn it…"

"What's going on here?"

"How should I know?"

Ankh glared at Vermouth and demanded an explanation as to what did she pulled just now, which she smirked and said that she happened to find a Greed in the form of a left hand, and all she did was give him a body to inhabit, as it would be better than to attract unwanted attention, and said that this is an event that she had planned ever since MEETING Conankh a few days ago.

"What was that?"

"Oh, you heard me, Ankh..."

"Are you screwing with me?"

"Do I...?"

"Answer me, damn you!"

"I already have."

"Bullshit!"

"…"

Gin and Vodka were baffled at what they are seeing, and before they would get the chance to question Vermouth, they noticed that Conankh ran towards Ankh and jumped forward, intending to mug his target but Ankh simply slapped him aside but Conankh was persistent, showing that he too has the same irritation as Ankh's.

As Ankh punched him back, Conankh glared and then his left monster hand detached itself from the body he is inhabiting and went towards Ankh, causing the latter to detach his right monster hand form from Shinichi's body, and the two monster hand forms clashed in the air, which Lager saw this and told Jin and Vodka while pointing at Shinichi's comatose body.

"Gin! Vodka! Look!"

"!"

"!"

"Isn't that…?"

"Aniki…that's…"

"Shinichi Kudo…"

"Look carefully…he's…"

"…"

"…"

Gin and Vodka stared in disbelief, as they saw Shinichi's comatose body and noticed that his hair color is back to its natural form and color, which Lager began to deduce that Ankh may have something to do with this while also noticing the body of Conan Edogawa, as the body too is still and noticed that Conan's hair color is also normal, and there Gin, Vodka and Lager asked Vermouth what is happening here, which she smirked and assured to them that all their queries would be answered.

"Hey, Vermouth!"

"What the heck is going on here…? What do you know about this?"

"What's with this screw-up?"

"Patience, gentlemen…you will get your answers…"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"I promise…"

Korn and Chianti watches the scene as the right and left hand forms of Ankh and Conankh are continuing their clash, and both members of the Black Organization wondered who would win, noting that something rather intriguing is happening and expected that Vermouth has a lot of explaining to do, especially after giving hints about the so-called Yummy and Ankh and Conankh.

"What do you think, Chianti…?"

"Looks interesting…"

"You think so?"

"Looks like it."

"Who's going to win?"

"Who knows…but Vermouth has a lot of explaining to do…"

"You got that right…"

"Yeah…"

Hope you liked this chapter as the situation and the plot thickens which what appeared to be Conan Edogawa suddenly entered the fray and now it is revealed that this Conan is actually just a body inhabited by a left-handed version form of Ankh…whom Vermouth gave this entity a name…Conankh…

And it looks like the Black Organization members are starting to get the gist of what is happening, especially after seeing Shinichi's comatose body and about the revelation of the Greed…while Ankh and Conankh duke it out amid what is happening around them…
