Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here the current story arc is ongoing…and this will shake the plot foundation as Ankh takes the spotlight once more…and the villains here would be dragged in…especially with a NEW CHARACTER who is now the CENTER OF ATTENTION…
And now this is happening as Ankh and the Detective Conan gang are about to get into an encounter not only the Black Organization but also the one who seemingly has TIES with Ankh himself…
And now O's is about to face a rather dangerous challenge…

As the three Fortified Wine members wondered what Vermouth is up to seeing that she is unfazed, the Fortified Wine leader stepped forward, which O's is baffled seeing her approaching Conankh, and there Ankh watches the scene until he sensed that something is amiss and tells O's to keep Vermouth away from Conankh, confusing O's.
Shiho asked Ankh what is wrong, and he said that he has a feeling that Vermouth has another of the red Core Medals and would give it to Conankh, surprising her, and Ankh's apprehension is realized as Vermouth helps Conankh up before giving him a red Core Medal that has the emblem of an ostrich. It was the Kitsutsuki Medal, and there Conankh desperately took it before absorbing it into his body and moaned in ecstasy as Conankh's body glowed slightly before undergoing a transformation.
There his body changed as he gained additional height as he is now as tall as Shinichi Kudo while his body now resembled that of a bird-type Greed, and this surprised everyone inside the warehouse, as they get to see a Greed in front of them, and Vermouth stood there, feeling triumphant now that her TRUMP CARD is pumped for action.
Gin and Vodka stared wide-eyed in disbelief at what they just saw, and noticed that Vermouth was smirking triumphantly at seeing Conankh assuming his Greed form, and the two Black Organization members wondered what is going on here and if this would benefit the Black Organization as a whole.
"Damn…I can't believe what I'm seeing…"
"Aniki…"
"What now?"
"That kid who turned into that bird-thing…will he be a help to the Black Organization?"
"How should I know?"
"Should we ask Vermouth?"
"That depends…!"
"Uh…"
Likewise, Chianti is apprehensive as she wondered if Conankh can be controlled, as she expressed doubt that Vermouth would be able to keep the bird-type Greed in check, though Korn said that if Vermouth knows what she is doing then there is nothing to worry about, as this would be a test to see if Vermouth can prove her loyalty to the Black Organization after bringing in an outsider without consulting Anokata.
"You think so, Korn?"
"Looks like it."
"…"
"If that bird-thing attacked us then it's a problem. So far he is doing what Vermouth is commanding."
"So then…"
"If Vermouth could keep him under control, then it's fine."

The Lager group members are also having doubts about what they are seeing, and wondered what Anokata would do if he were to see this, since this is the first time seeing Conankh assuming his Greed form and Anokata hasn't, and there they are awaiting the results to see if Conankh can be an asset to the Black Organization or a liability.
"What do you think?"
"Is that bird-brain on our side?"
"Looks like it. So far he is taking down the meddlers."

"Be ready for anything. There's no telling what might happen next…"

Ch. 155: Kurōn sa reta karada, 2tsu no anku, kingu no keiji part 6
Behind the crates, Kogoro and Kaitou Kid stared wide-eyed in shock, having witnessed Conankh assuming his Greed form, and seeing Shiho helping the weakened Ankh, he slowly recall hearing rumors about monsters running afoul, and he is beginning to express disbelief that this is what the rumors that he is hearing about.
Kaitou guessed what Kogoro is thinking and tells him that the rumors he is hearing are true, and said that the sightings he heard are genuine, and pointed out that they were not seen much is due to O's defeating them and reduced to nothing, surprising Kogoro as he had no idea about all of this, and there Kaitou Kid tells Kogoro to go with Shiho once they escape so that he can get the answers he needs.
"Yup. The moment you guys make a getaway, ask her and she will provide you with the answers you need."
"Eh…?"
"And believe me…there's a reason why."
"Then…"
"Be ready for anything, Mr. Mori. From this point on…things are going to become hectic for you."
"What…?"
"…"
"H-hey…"
Meanwhile, Conankh hissed loudly as he confront O's, where he unleashed a slightly bigger, but stronger fireball, which struck his target, though O's uses his gorilla gauntlets to deflect the attack but the impact staggered him back, and he could feel his arms straining as the impact was strong, and there O's decided to take a risk and gets closer to try close-quarter combat.
Conankh appeared to be adept in fighting as he is able to block and deflect the punches, though he is caught by surprise as O's uses the bison horns as a headbutt attack, sending Conankh staggering backwards and fell on top of Gin and Vodka, causing the two Black Organization members to squeal in surprise and annoyance.
"Whoa!"
"Hey!"
"…"
"Get off me!"
"You're quite heavy!"
"…"
"I said get off me, you bird-brain!"
"Aniki…calm down!"
Conankh gets up and summoned his left wing and there he fired feather-shaped projectiles which were strong, causing O's to use the gorilla gauntlets to shield himself, not noticing that Conankh jumps up and executed his version of the Prominence Drop, a fiery dropkick that is similar to the TaJaDor finisher that O's uses.
The blow connected and the impact was strong enough to send O's crashing against several crates, causing Shiho and Ankh to stare wide-eyed in shock, as they did not expect that Ankh's counterpart to be this strong, and there Ankh shouted at O's to get up, though Shiho tells him to calm down.
Vermouth smirked as she is pleased with the turn of events, while her fellow Fortified Wine comrades are awed at seeing that Conankh did well and believed that the Black Organization might emerged on top of the criminal underworld should Conankh play an important role within the organization.
"Wow…"
"Look at that…"
"He did it…"
"That guy…"
"He might help the organization…"
"And we might climb on top…"
"Vermouth did the right thing…"
"Yeah…"
Then Conankh charged towards Ankh, slapping Shiho aside as he and Ankh began to scuffle, punching and kicking each other, going back and forth which Gin is curious as he wondered what would happen if Ankh is defeated, and became curious if Ankh's death would also result in Shinichi Kudo's death, since he now knows that the monster-hand form of Ankh is possessing Shinichi's body.
As Ankh managed to land a lucky punch, Conankh was staggering backwards but regain his footing and fired a few feather-shaped projectiles and struck Ankh on his right shoulder, injuring him, which also injured Shinichi's physical body, where you can see Shinichi's shoulder bleeding quite a bit, shocking Shiho.
As Shiho helps Ankh up, Conankh is poised to unleash a strong projectile attack, and there the Black Organization members are rooting for Conankh, urging him to kill the meddlers, as they are seemingly welcoming the bird-type Greed to their organization.
"Kill him!"

Seeing where this might lead to, Kaitou Kid brought out a smoke grenade and tells Kogoro to get Shiho and Ankh out of the warehouse while he distract the Black Organization members, which Kogoro asked what would Kaitou Kid do next, which he said that he will figure out a way, but for now Shiho and Ankh needs to be saved from potential death.
"I'll be fine."
"But…"
"Shiho and Ankh must stay alive…they're the only ones who can keep Shinichi Kudo alive…"
"But…how are…"
"Leave it to me. The important thing is to get those two out of here."
"Kaitou Kid..."
"Get ready, Mr. Mori..."
"…"
After that Kogoro uses a handkerchief and tied it around his nose and mouth, where Kaitou Kid removed the safety pin and threw several smoke grenades at Conankh, which began to disrupt the visibility of the area, and there the Black Organization members are taken aback at what is happening right now.
"Hey!"
"What the…?"
"Damn!"
"I can't see!"
"What's going on here?"
"Shit!"
"The meddlers might get away!"
"Vermouth!"
Amid the confusion, Kogoro went to Shiho and helps her pick up Ankh, just as O's recovered and asked Shiho if she has the medal holder, which she nodded, and after opening it, O's glanced at the Core Medals available and came up with a way to make a clean getaway, which he tells Shiho, Ankh and Kogoro to wait here which they nodded in acknowledgement.
O's removed the Bison, Gorilla and Batta Medal's before took three Core Medals from the Medal Holder, then inserted the three new Core Medals and scans them with the Medal Scanner.
Medal Scanner: "SHAICHI…KUJAKU…CONDOR!"
Assuming a sub-combo, O's uses the Shaichi Medal's power, and the Shaichi helmet fired strong streams of water, hitting Conankh which sends him careening against some crates, then uses the Kujaku Medal's power to fire feather-shaped projectiles and struck the roof, causing a large portion to fall down, forcing the Black Organization members to scamper away for safety.
There Os grabbed Shiho, Ankh and Kogoro as they flew out of the warehouse, while Kaitou Kid took his leave, and soon the Black Organization members got out of the warehouse, but were a bit worried that the meddlers got away, though Vermouth assured to her comrades that the organization is safe, as no one would believe them if they say that a Greed attack them, though Gin asked what about Ankh, as he is still possessing Shinichi Kudo's body.
Vermouth smirked as she said that Conankh will deal with him, as Conankh came out and reverted back to his human host's appearance, which Gin grudgingly accepted, seeing that Conankh appeared to be capable enough to deal even with the police.
"Grrr…fine."
"Good, Gin."
"Only because your pet did a good showing."
"Thanks."
"If this kid can help the organization, fine."
"Good. Let's take our leave."
"Fine."
"…"
After that, the Black Organization members took their leave as they are sure that the police would be alerted after the roof collapsed and produced enough noise to attract unwanted attention.
