Hunt For The Mystical Medals

Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here a new story arc commences…and here you will see the aftermath of what happened following the previous chapters…and how this affects the side characters of Detective Conan…now that something unexpected is about to happen…

Ankh then opened the medal case and carefully chose which Core Medals to use, and finally picked the ones that are best suited in a situation like this and threw them towards Kyuji, telling him to use them to bring the Black Swallowtail Yummy to the ground, which Kyuji nodded, seeing that these Core Medals would suit him in this kind of situations.

"Whoa…"

"Use those, Kyuji! Make use of them!"

"I see…"

"Hurry up and use them!"

"Okay! Got it!"

"Make sure that Yummy won't get away!"

"Okay!"

"Now go!"

Putting on the Medal Driver, Kyuji slots in the three Core Medals before scanning them with the Medal Scanner, thus evoking the transformation.

Medal Scanner: "TAKA…UNAGI…TAKO!"

Kyuji transformed into Kamen Rider O's, where he assumed a sub-combo which has the power of the hawk, electric eel and octopus, and there O's uses the eel whips to catch the Black Swallowtail Yummy and dragged it towards the ground, and there the pedestrians were snapped from their greed and saw the Yummy, terrifying them and began screaming in fright.

"EEEEEEKKKK!"

"KKKKKKKYYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

"WWWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"

"HHHHHHEEEEELLLPPPPP!"

"EEEEEEKKKK!"

"KKKKKKKYYYYYYAAAAHHHH!"

"WWWWWWAAAAAHHHH!"

"HHHHHHEEEEELLLPPPPP!"

Toudou and Gotoh decided to join the fray, putting on their Birth Drivers and slots in a Cell Medal, transforming into Kamen Rider Birth and Kamen Rider Proto-Birth, and joins O's in taking on the Yummy, and there the three Kamen Riders started to overwhelm the Yummy as O's told Birth and Proto-Birth that they got to destroy the Yummy before it tries to escape.

"Toudou! Gotoh! We got to ground that Yummy!"

"Okay!"

"Got it!"

"Don't give it a chance to fly!"

"Okay, noted!"

"Looks like we'll have to clip its wings!"

"Lets do this!"

"Right!"

"Affirmative!"

Birth and Proto-Birth began to land punches and kicks on the Black Swallowtail Yummy, causing the monster to stagger back and O's began using the eel whips to land more damage, and this prompted the Yummy to fire pollen-like particles, which struck the three Kamen Riders and a strong explosion blasts them back, and there Ankh told the three Kamen Riders not to relax and urged them to prevent the Yummy from making a quick escape.

"You guys! Stop slacking! Don't let that Yummy get away!"

"…"

"…"

"…"

"Get up and kill it!"

"You make it sound so easy, Ankh..."

"That Ankh sure is a slave driver…"

"I agree…"

Ch. 163: Murasaki no medaru, kyōryū, chimei-tekina konbo part 3

Getting up, O's tried to buy time as the Black Swallowtail Yummy began to fly upward, but O's uses the eel whips to hold the Yummy in place, and there Birth took out a Cell Medal and slots it into the Birth Driver before toggling the lever, which the Birth Driver spoke to confirm that a weapon/item activation is incoming.

Birth Driver: "CUTTER WING…"

A long, singular weapon that resemble a metal wing appeared and attached onto Birth's back, and there Birth flew up and began fighting the Black Swallowtail Yummy in the air, while O's uses the eel whips to hold the Yummy in place, and there he tells Proto-Birth to use the chance to finish off the Yummy.

"Gotoh! Quick!"

"Huh?"

"Use this chance! We might take down that Yummy!"

"I see…"

"Can you do it?"

"Okay! I got it!"

"Lets do this!"

"Okay!"

Nodding, Proto-Birth took out a Cell Medal and slots it into the Birth Driver before toggling the lever, which the Birth Driver spoke to confirm that a weapon/item activation is incoming.

Birth Driver: "BREAST CANNON…"

A large gun appeared before attaching itself onto Proto-Birth's chest, and then he slots in at least ten Cell Medals, and the Breast Cannon began to glow before opening fire, unleashing a very strong blast which struck the Black Swallowtail Yummy and obliterated it, causing the Yummy to explode and is reduced to almost a hundred pieces of Cell Medals which began to rain down to the ground.

O's and Proto-Birth were surprised to see this, and as Ankh is about to collect them, Uva showed up, decking Ankh before unleashing electric attacks from his antennas, hitting O's and Proto-Birth, sending them careening back, then Uva absorbed all the Cell Medals, which strengthen the insect Greed considerably, much to Ankh's apprehension.

O's recovered and attempted to use the eel whips on Uva, but to his surprise it had no effect like before, which Uva revealed that he recently, and discreetly, made some several low-level Yummies and after strengthening them to a degree, he killed them and harvested about 200 Cell Medals each before consuming them, thus Uva got stronger to a certain degree.

"You what?"

"That's right. I did that and it looked like it paid off."

"How…"

"I figured that if you take in a lot of Cell Medals, they are as good as Core Medals…"

"No way…"

"And now I have the chance to kill you and get my Core Medals back!"

"Oh boy…"

"Now die!"

As Birth swoops down in an attempt to ram the Greed, Uva uses his antennas to discharge a strong electric blast which jolted Birth and he ended up crashing to the ground, and Ankh observed the scene and is forced to make a decision in order to find a way to weaken Uva, seeing that there are no other options available at this time, given the current Core Medals they have.

"Kyuji!"

"Ankh?"

"Here!"

"These are…"

"Fire-type attacks might work! And you're the only one who might pull it off!"

"But…"

"There's no other way! The Core Medals we got from UVA won't work even if you use a full combo!"

"Damn…"

Ankh is forced to loan the Kujaku and Condor Medals to O's, who promptly took them, and slots them into the Medal Driver after removing the Unagi and Tako Medals, then scans them with the Medal Scanner to assume a new form.

Medal Scanner: "TAKA…KUJAKU…CONDOR! TA-JA-DOOOR…"

O's assumes TaJaDor combo and began to fight back, and soon Birth and Proto-Birth joins in on the fight, and the three Kamen Riders began to push Uva back, as their teamwork is starting to pay off, and Uva is in disbelief that he is being pushed back despite absorbing over a hundred Cell Medals and strengthening himself, and he refuses to believe that his tactics are having little effect.

O's started to see that their efforts are paying off and told Birth and Proto-Birth to keep it up and they might be able to defeat Uva, which the two nodded in acknowledgement, seeing that O's is right.

"Toudou! Gotoh! We can win!"

"Huh?"

"What?"

"We might pull this off and defeat Uva!"

"I see…"

"He's right…"

"Lets do this!"

"Okay!"

"Okay!"

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at Doctor Maki's secret safehouse, where Maki and Kazari stood in front of the table where the next scene zoomed towards the purple Core Medals, and there you can see the emblem of the different dinosaurs, which are identified as:

- Pterodactyl

- Triceratops

- Tyrannosaurus

- Carnosaur

- Smiledon

- Dimetrodon

- Styracosaurus

- Anurognathus

- Stegosaurus

A brief flashback scene shows that Maki requested to Kazari to have the tenth purple Core Medal SLOTTED inside him, which baffled the feline Greed as this is the first time he would try experimenting this and yet drawn by curiosity, Kazari did it and now the tenth purple Core Medal is inside Maki's body.

Kazari then stared at the nine remaining purple Core Medals, and there he cautiously stared at them and now he is feeling more of that strange aura, which is different from the ones that the five Greed exhibits, and there the nine remaining purple Core Medals began to briefly glow and vibrated for a few seconds before going still, which Maki stared at it in a stoic manner.

This made Kazari feel a bit baffled and he asked Maki if he knows what he is getting himself into, which the bespectacled scientist stoically nodded in response.

"Doctor…!"

"Yes?"

"Do you have any idea what you're getting yourself into?"

"Yes."

"Having one of the medals inside you is one thing…but the rest of those medals…!"

"Calm down. You have nothing to worry about."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Maki assured to Kazari that there is nothing for him to worry, and after a minute of hesitation, Kazari went forward and glanced at the purple Core Medals, and there he cautiously checked on them before calming down, seeing that Maki is right about the purple Core Medals finally calming down after a brief movement.

However, five of the purple Core Medals began to move, causing Kazari to back away as Maki stared at it, where the five purple Core Medals began to levitate while glowing, which exhibited its terrifying aura, and Kazari backed away as he asked Maki if he knows something about what the purple Core Medals are doing.

"Doctor…!"

"Yes?"

"Do you have any idea what is going on here?"

"Apparently, no."

"You requesting me to put one of the medals inside you is one thing…but the rest of those medals…! Why are they moving on their own?"

"Calm down. You have nothing to worry about."

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

Five of the purple Core Medals are seen levitating while glowing, and there you can see which of them are seen, and they are revealed to be:

- Pterodactyl

- Triceratops

- Tyrannosaurus

- Carnosaur

- Smiledon
