Hunt For The Mystical Medals

Many thanks to those who reviewed this fic, I really appreciated it and this gave me inspiration to work on the next chapter and here a new story arc commences…and here you will see the aftermath of what happened following the previous chapters…and how this affects the side characters of Detective Conan…now that something unexpected is about to happen…which would commence right about now…

Meanwhile, the scene shifts at Doctor Maki's secret safehouse, where Maki and Kazari stood in front of the table where the next scene zoomed towards the purple Core Medals, and there you can see the emblem of the different dinosaurs, which are identified as:
- Pterodactyl
- Triceratops
- Tyrannosaurus
- Carnosaur
- Smiledon
- Dimetrodon
- Styracosaurus
- Anurognathus
- Stegosaurus
As Kazari stared at the purple Core Medals, he had a feeling of conflict as he is unsure how to make of this as he can sense the aura of the purple Core Medals that seemed to conflict his aura, and there he asked Maki if he knows what to do with these purple Core Medals, which Maki nonchalantly nodded in response.
"Doctor…"
"Yes?"
"Do you really have plans for these medals?"
"Indeed. I would not steal them if they are not worth anything."
"But sense tremendous aura coming from these medals…"
"Which is why I intend to use them…"
"Are you serious?"
"I am."
Kazari twitched his eye at hearing this, as a few minutes ago Maki requested to Kazari to SLOT one of the purple Core Medals inside him and the Greed complied, which now leaves the remaining nine purple Core Medals in their possession, and Kazari is baffled at what Maki is planning to do with the purple Core Medals.
However, something unexpected took place as five of the purple Core Medals began to move, causing Kazari to back away as Maki stared at it, where the five purple Core Medals began to levitate while glowing, which exhibited its terrifying aura, and Kazari backed away as he asked Maki if he knows something about what the purple Core Medals are doing.
"Doctor…!"
"Yes?"
"Do you have any idea what is going on here?"
"Apparently, no."
"You requesting me to put one of the medals inside you is one thing…but the rest of those medals…! Why are they moving on their own?"
"Calm down. You have nothing to worry about."
"Are you sure?"
"Yes."
Five of the purple Core Medals are seen levitating while glowing, and there you can see which of them are seen, and they are revealed to be:
- Pterodactyl
- Triceratops
- Tyrannosaurus
- Carnosaur
- Smiledon
The five purple Core Medals continue to glow while levitating in the air, and after a few seconds it leaves the safehouse and went away, and Maki stared at it, seeing that something INTERESTING is about to take place whilst Kazari had a bad feeling about this, and asked Maki if the five purple Core Medals escaping would cause problems, Maki said that something interesting is about to take place and this would help their current cause, which Kazari appeared to be conflicted about what the bespectacled scientist said just now.
"Are you sure that this is okay, doctor?"
"Relax, Kazari. Everything is in order."
"Are you sure? Those medals are flying off…! What if…"
"You need not worry. It will be alright."
"Eh?"
"Something interesting is about to happen."
"Doctor…"
"…"
The scene shifts at the streets where you can see motorists and pedestrians moving about, and where startled to see the five purple Core Medals flying straight, which made them get spooked at what they just saw.
"EEEEEKKKK!"
"WHAT THE HECK?"
"GHOSTS!"
"WE'RE BEING HAUNTED!"
"SOMEONE CALL THE POLICE!"
"SOMEONE SAVE ME!"
"HELP!"
"MOMMY!"

Ch. 164: Murasaki no medaru, kyōryū, chimei-tekina konbo part 4
The scene shifts at the parking lot of an office building where Kamen Riders Birth and Proto-Birth defeated the Black Swallowtail Yummy, which discharges about 200 Cell Medals, and as Ankh is about to take them, Uva showed up and uses his electrical attack via his antennas to repel his opponents before he absorbed the Cell Medals, strengthening him to a certain degree.
O's uses the eel whips to attack, but Uva wasn't fazed as he stood still before unleashing his electrical attack which sent O's careening against a pillar, and there Proto-Birth helped O's up, where they were surprised to see that Uva got stronger, as well as seeing that O's attacks having no effect on the Greed.
"Are you okay, Hino?"
"Yeah…"
"Looks like Uva has gotten stronger…"
"Looks like it. The eel whips are not scratching him…"
"This doesn't look good. We got to weaken him…"
"Yeah…but what made him get stronger?"
"That's what I want to know…"
"Unless he…"
Uva laughed maniacally as he told them the reason why, which caused O's to get up, surprised to hear that Uva planned this and that his schemes have paid off well.
"You what?"
"That's right. I did that and it looked like it paid off."
"How…"
"I figured that if you take in a lot of Cell Medals, they are as good as Core Medals…"
"No way…"
"And now I have the chance to kill you and get my Core Medals back!"
"Oh boy…"
"Now die!"
As Birth swoops down in an attempt to ram the Greed, Uva uses his antennas to discharge a strong electric blast which jolted Birth and he ended up crashing to the ground, and Ankh observed the scene and is forced to make a decision in order to find a way to weaken Uva, seeing that there are no other options available at this time, given the current Core Medals they have.
"Kyuji!"
"Ankh?"
"Here!"
"These are…"
"Fire-type attacks might work! And you're the only one who might pull it off!"
"But…"
"There's no other way! The Core Medals we got from UVA won't work even if you use a full combo!"
"Damn…"
Ankh is forced to loan the Kujaku and Condor Medals to O's, who promptly took them, and slots them into the Medal Driver after removing the Unagi and Tako Medals, then scans them with the Medal Scanner to assume a new form.
Medal Scanner: "TAKA…KUJAKU…CONDOR! TA-JA-DOOOR…"
O's assumes TaJaDor combo and began to fight back, and soon Birth and Proto-Birth joins in on the fight, and the three Kamen Riders began to push Uva back, as their teamwork is starting to pay off, and Uva is in disbelief that he is being pushed back despite absorbing over a hundred Cell Medals and strengthening himself, and he refuses to believe that his tactics are having little effect.
O's started to see that their efforts are paying off and told Birth and Proto-Birth to keep it up and they might be able to defeat Uva, which the two nodded in acknowledgement, seeing that O's is right.
"Toudou! Gotoh! We can win!"
"Huh?"
"What?"
"We might pull this off and defeat Uva!"
"I see…"
"He's right…"
"Lets do this!"
"Okay!"
"Okay!"
Birth and Proto-Birth slots in a Cell Medal and activated their Breast Cannon, and catching Uva off-guard, they fired a strong blast, which knocked him back, and was forcibly discharging several Cell Medals before O's fired a fire blast, causing his body to throw out the Sai and Zou Core Medals, which Ankh grabbed them and told the trio to use the chance to finish off Uva.
As the three Kamen Riders are about to gang up on the beleaguered Uva, something unexpected took place, as the five purple Core Medals arrived and circled around O's, which leaves him baffled, and there Birth, Proto-Birth noticed that the flying objects are Core Medals, and they asked Ankh about it, which he disavowed any knowledge about them.
"Hey, Ankh!"
"…"
"What's with those Core Medals?"
"How should I know?"
"Aren't they yours?"
"No way! They're not mine!"
"Are you serious?"
"Don't ask me!"
"Whatever…"
As Uva is baffled by the turn of events, the five Core Medals forcibly went inside O's, causing his body to tremble and underwent a seizure before the three red Core Medals are forcibly ejected, which Ankh frantically forced his monster right hand form to eject from Shinichi Kudo's body to grab the Core Medals, and Uva joins in. The two fought before backing away, where Ankh re-attaches himself onto Shinichi's body, staring menacingly towards Uva.
There it is shown that Ankh managed to retrieve the Taka and Kujaku Core Medals, but Uva managed to get hold of the Condor Medal, and there he asked Ankh about the purple Core Medals which the latter deny any knowledge of it, which Uva doesn't feel convinced, but then he uses his electrical attack to fend off his opponents before making his escape.
Ankh then saw Ran and Shiho arriving and went towards Kyuji, who appeared to be unconscious, while Gotoh and Toudou checked on their fallen comrade, and there they decided to take Kyuji to a hospital to see what they can do to help, while Ankh could only stare in dismay, as he lost one of his Core Medals to Uva, thus he was weaken to a certain degree.
As Ankh and the rest took their leave, it is shown that Vermouth and Conankh are watching from a distance, and Conankh is hissing as Ankh is leaving, though Vermouth assured to Conankh that he would get his chance, and there she said that he has a NEW TARGET to go after, pointing at Uva, who reverted to his human guise, which Conankh stared and MEMORIZED Uva's appearance.
"Patience, Conankh. You'll get your chance."
"…"
"For now you would get to PLAY with someone."
"…"
"And I'm sure you'll be delighted to face him…"
"…"
"Well then, let's go, Conankh."
"…"

Several minutes later, Satonaka went inside Kougami's office, informing him of what happened, which he appeared to be quite surprised, as he did not expect something like this to happen, and wondered if Maki anticipated this kind of situation, and Satonaka said that the debacle caused Ankh to lose one of his Core Medals, thus Kyuji won't be able to use the TaJaDor Combo, though Kougami said that for now they would have to anticipate what would happen next now that half of the purple Core Medals went inside Kyuji's body.
"For now we should monitor Kyuji Hino...I am certain something is about to take place.
"Do you think that would help our situation, sir?"
"I'm confident that it will be."
"What about Doctor Maki? It's safe to assume that he probably has half of the purple Core Medals..."
"We will thread that when the time comes. For now we should focus on Hino."
"Very well."
"Good."

Hope you liked this chapter of the current story arc, as the action-packed battle ended in a stalemate as five of the purple Core Medals entered Kyuji's body, knocking him out while Ankh loses the Condor Medal to Uva, though there is some consolation as he managed to regain the Sai and Zou Core Medals…
