The 20th century has just begun and it was already full of events. After an unfortunate incident on the western front Aziraphael joined the miraculously not-dead ex-preacher in the east for a quick lunch (and liquor). This is a minisode, in which Aziraphael asks and Crowley is not eager to answer.

Crowley has neglected his duties without apparent reason.

As punishment for giving away his flaming sword, Heaven takes Aziraphale's wings, with the promise to return them once he has earned their forgiveness. But that's difficult to do when you're in love with a demon like Crowley. Especially when Crowley doesn't even know he's an angel. Ineffable husbands, T for language and offscreen violence

Just because he loves seeing Aziraphale happy, Crowley agrees to go to a place the angel has wanted to visit for a long time. "And tell me, Anthony... " continues the magician. "Are you married? Can demons get married?"- "As a matter of fact, yes," Crowley answers, snapping his fingers and a ring appears on his hand and another on Aziraphale's. "I'm here on vacation with him."

"And that was the last I was to see of Crowley. For quite some time." wrote Aziraphale in his diary. Here is my take on what hellish consequences our demon had to face in that time between 1827 when he saved Elspeth and 1862 when he asked Aziraphale for insurance. -complete-

The angel who was in doubt whether he deserved to uphold his angelic statues found himself crying, silently, next to a demon. —- “The kisses of an angel. He gazed at his hands, spotting a bundle of small freckles where the past burns laid.”

Aziraphale has left for Heaven, and Crowley is stuck trying to figure out how to move on. Meanwhile, Aziraphale tends to his own heartbreak and tries to uncover anything he can about the Second Coming. And where is God anyway? Unsurprisingly, Aziraphale runs into problems in his new job: the Second Coming will be a massacre, and only Crowley can help him prevent it. But Crowley has his own reasons, and his own issues: Hell gives him an ultimatum, and he must choose. But it seems neither angels nor demons can make choices very well. And stopping the Second Coming will have major consequences for everyone.

Aziraphale returns to Earth to mend his relationship with Crowley, only to learn the demon has been injured. While trying to help his friend, Hell comes knocking. Hellbent on turning Crowley against the angel, they drag the snake back to hell to the torture pits. Will they succeed in souring the relationship, or is Crowley's love too strong, even for Hell?

Aziraphale adopts a cat. Crowley is not amused.
