In Marinette's bedroom...

She stirred in her sleep quite a bit, causing Tikki to wake up from her slumber. Her Kwami floated up to her with worried eyes.

"Marinette, are you sleeping?" Tikki asked her as she tried to nudge her.

The Kwami felt something different about her power of creation. It had never felt this way before. It was as if something was giving her more power.

The Kwami could tell it was One for All. It was coming from the Miraculous.

Tikki noticed a bright light and felt something coming over her holder. She looked over at the glowing and was surprised to see that it was her Miraculous. Tikki had never seen that happen before. Marinette hadn't even transformed and yet, it was still glowing.

Soon enough, it faded away, and Marinette sat upright. She was panting as if she had just ran a marathon. After a long minute of realizing where she was, Marinette looked down to see Tikki on the other side of her bed, rubbing her head. The Kwami had been flung off of the covers.

"Tikki...? Are you okay?" Marinette asked her Kwami.

Marinette looked around her room, wondering if anyone else showed up.

"I should be asking the same thing," Tikki said to her, "Your Miraculous was glowing while you were sleeping."

"What?!" Marinette cried out as she reached slowly to touch them.

They didn't feel any different. The Miraculous even stopped glowing.

"Tikki, I had the weirdest dream. Adrien and Izuku were there with me! I was in some weird dark room, and-- Ah! I was naked! Tikki, I was actually naked! In front of Adrien! It was so embarrassing! Then all of these people that had One for All before him showed up! It was so cool! There was this one lady that was so much like Majestia-- Ow!"

Tikki had pulled her ponytail to snap her out of it. Marinette gave her a glare and fixed her hair.

"Sorry Marinette, but you might need to get some fresh air," Tikki said to her.

Marinette agreed with her and went up to her balcony. She instantly felt a nice cool breeze coming her way as she leaned over the railing. The sun was almost setting, realizing that she had slept almost the whole day. As she looked down at the view below her, she noticed a couple families walking by and groups of teenagers hanging out together. A few of them even showed up in the Bakery Shop.

Marinette smiled down at the people coming into her parents Bakery Shop and decided to go down there to check on them. She quickly got dressed, and then felt something on her head as she put on her shirt. She froze in place and reached up to her head. Her eyes widened and ran over to her mirror.

Her antennas were back, and she wasn't even transformed as Ladybug. She turned around and even saw wings poking out of her pajama shirt.

"Ti-Tikki?! M-My an-antennas are still here!" Marinette cried out as she tried to push them down, "An-And, my wi-wings! The-These shouldn't be here!"

Every time she let go of them, they popped back up. She even tried to tuck her wings into her shirt, but they slid out of it.

"I can't go downstairs looking like this!" She said to Tikki.

Marinette looked through some of her hair accessories real quick and found a few hair bands. She tried a few different colors on and found the pink one look the best on her. She put on her jacket and tried to tuck in her wings into it. Then she put her backpack on, and that seemed to hold it into place. It actually hurt a little, but she could figure out what to do about it later.

"Well, it looks like I'll have to wear my backpack until I figure out what to do about this," Marinette said to Tikki, "Come on, Tikki. Let's head over to the school. Izuku needs that recipe book."

Marinette hid Tikki in her jacket and headed over to the school. Even though there was no school going on, she still had to check in on Class 1-A. After what happened with One for All, she knew Midoriya and Adrien were going through the same thing.

Then her eyes widened, realizing Adrien might have found something after waking up. She almost stepped into the school, but then decided to head over to Adrien's house instead. After what he'd been through, she knew that he might need help with something. Besides, she was kind of excited to see him after a good sleep.

In HawkMoth's lair...

A shining light shined down on Adrien's face, making him squint his eyes. Adrien tried to stay asleep, but he couldn't seem to get comfortable.

Plagg felt a little squished, so he flew out of Adrien's jacket and tried to push him awake. Then he noticed something weird going on with his Miraculous.

It was glowing, and yet no transformation whatsoever.

Plagg had a weird feeling coming over him and his destruction power. He tried to ignore it and tried again to wake up his holder. The Miraculous's glow seemed to settle down as he nudged on him.

"Adrien! Wake up," Plagg said to him, "Your Miraculous, it's glowing!"

Adrien sat upright, feeling sweat beading down his forehead from the sunlight coming in. His green eyes widened from the sudden realization that he had fallen asleep in HawkMoth's lair. He felt something fall off of his lap and looked down to see the recipe book.

The dream he had came back to him pretty quickly.

"Adrien, something's up with your Miraculous," Plagg said to him.

Adrien's eyes widened with shock and looked down to see nothing going on with it. He looked back at Plagg, sending him a dirty glare.

"Plagg, that's not funny," Adrien said to his Kwami, "I had this weird dream though. Me, Marinette and Izuku were in this dark room together with all of these superheroes from their Japan! Apparently, they were One for All holders, just like the past holders of the Black Cat Miraculous! It was so cool! The weird thing though is that I was naked for some reason, and so was--"

"Whoa, whoa. That's too much information, kid!" Plagg cried out, "We should head out of here just in case Chrysalis shows up."

Adrien reached out to grab the recipe book, when he felt something brush his leg. He tried to ignore it, thinking it was Plagg pulling a prank on him. After it kept coming however, he felt annoyed.

"Plagg, stop tickling me," Adrien said to his Kwami, "I've gotta get this recipe book to Marinette."

Plagg looked at him with a confused look and noticed something poking out of his pants.

"Kid, that wasn't me."

Adrien's eyes widened as he slowly reached down to touch something. He looked down and saw a black, furry tail. His heart felt like it skipped a beat as he let out a scream.

"Plagg! Wha-What's going on?! Why do I have a tail?!" Adrien cried out as he grabbed it, "Th-This shouldn't be here!"

"I-I didn't do anything! I-It must've been that kid's quirk messing with your Miraculous," Plagg tried to explain to him, "But, you might want to look in the mirror though..."

Adrien's eyes widened and quickly ran over to the elevator with the recipe book in his hands. Hopefully, he won't run into Natalie on the way to his room. Soon enough, he made it out of his father's office and quietly made his way up the stairs. Adrien saw no one around and entered his room. He ran over to his mirror and almost screamed again.

He had black, furry cat ears on top of his head. He slowly touched them and could feel his ears connected to his head.

"Thi-This isn't supposed to be happening, Plagg!" Adrien cried out, but trying not to bother Natalie, "I haven't even transformed yet!"

"I don't know what to tell you, kid."

He heard someone walking down the stairs and head towards the front door. He figured it was Natalie, so he quickly got dressed and tried stuffing his tail into his pants. Then he quickly grabbed a grey beanie and put it on. Luckily, it hid the cat ears very well.

Then he heard a knock at his bedroom door.

"Adrien, your friend Marinette is here to see you," Natalie said to him through the door.

Adrien stumbled towards the door as Plagg hid behind the piano. He opened it to see Natalie with Marinette. The moment Adrien locked eyes with her, Marinette and him felt something weird between them.

"She said that she's here for something important. Something about schoolwork," Natalie said to her, "I'll leave you to it then."

Natalie closed the door behind her and left them alone. Marinette avoided eye contact with him for a while as she looked around his room. She felt really hot, remembering the dream she had about him and Midoriya. She felt really ridiculous about this and tried to settle in his room.

They both didn't know what to say, but Marinette stumbled into his room. She almost tripped over his basketball, and he grabbed her before she fell. They both looked up at each other, and their eyes sparkled.

And then she realized that her head band fell to the floor.

And his beanie was hanging off of one of his ears.

They both looked at each other with surprised looks on their faces, and it wasn't going away anytime soon.

"Ma-Marinette?!"

"Adr-Adrien?!"

They both stared at each other for a while and soon put their beanie and head band back on.

Adrien had Marinette with antennas before, but only as Ladybug. Something about it felt weird to see her like that.

Marinette wasn't expecting Adrien to have cat ears, that's for sure. She saw his ears change a little as Cat Noir, but seeing them on Adrien was a whole other story.

"Adrien, why do have cat ears?" Marinette asked him.

"I-I don't know. I fell asleep in HawkMoth's lair, and I woke up with these!" Adrien explained, pointing at his ears.

"Wait, you woke up in HawkMoth's lair. What were you doing in your father's lair?" Marinette asked him.

"I don't know. I felt like making sure Chrysalis wasn't around. She left the place empty. But what about you? You have antennas! I thought you'd only have them as Ladybug," Adrien said to her.

"I thought so too," Marinette said to him, "Maybe this dream I had made this happen."

Adrien froze in place, realizing that she actually did have the same dream as him. He gave her a look that made her realize that he had the same dream.

"So, you had the same dream, too?" Adrien asked her, "Tha-That's a little strange."

"You're telling me," Marinette said to him as she took off her backpack, "I just found these when I woke up!"

Marinette let her wings drop to the floor, making Adrien almost burst out laughing with how ridiculous they looked when she wasn't Ladybug. She then sent him a dirty glare.

"Well, I found this poking out of my pants just now," Adrien cried out as he pulled out his black tail.

Seeing his ears and tail almost made Marinette collapse from laughter. She felt her stomach hurt from how funny he looked.

"I-I'm so-sorry, yo-you just look so ridiculous with cat ears and a tail!" Marinette cried out as he wiped a tear away.

It was Adrien's turn to give her a dirty glare.

After things calmed down a little, Marinette and Adrien sat down on the end of his bed. Tikki and Plagg finally showed up and the Kwami tried to share a piece of camembert with her.

"One for All, huh?" Adrien said to her, "Izuku's quirk is definitely... unique. All of those superheroes were so interesting compared to ones we've seen here."

"Yeah. That lady, Nana reminded me of Majestia," Marinette said to him, "She seemed like someone that knew what she was talking about."

Adrien and Marinette sat there silently, realizing they haven't talked like this at all. They had just found out their secret identities, so things still felt a little weird at times. It just the two of them, in Adrien's room. There wasn't any of Class 1-A around or someone to get in the way.

"So, you were in HawkMoth's lair, huh?" Marinette asked him, "That's gotta be a little weird for you."

"Yeah. A little bit," Adrien said back, "Natalie's still trying to clean things up around here after the police showed up. She's still upset about the whole thing."

Marinette felt bad that she hadn't checked on him sooner. She really wanted him to know that they were still friends and could come over whenever he wanted. She felt her cheeks warm up a bit as she placed her hand on his leg.

"You know, you can come over whenever you want. We could play video games, or even just do homework together. We are friends after all, aren't we?" Marinette said to him.

Her smile warmed him up the moment he looked into her bell blue eyes. She looked so genuinely happy to be here and wanted to cheer him up.

"Thank you, Marinette. I really appreciate you coming over to check on me," Adrien said to her, smiling back, "You know, I'm really glad that you're Ladybug."

Marinette felt her heart skip a beat when his green eyes sparkled back at her. She was surprised that she didn't look away this time around. Something about that moment felt so romantic. She felt herself leaning in to kiss him, but then remembered a certain someone still going out with him.

"S-So, I-I ac-actually came here to grab the book that your father owned. You know, the Miraculous book with all of the codes," Marinette said to him as she pulled away from him, "Izuku will probably need it soon, you know?"

Adrien looked up and noticed it lying there on the piano bench. He got up to get it and brought it over to her.

"Here. I found it in HawkMoth's lair and fell asleep looking at it. Weird, right?" Adrien said to her.

"Yeah. It looks like you found it at the right time," She said to him, "Good thing Chrysalis didn't take it with her when she left."

Marinette looked through the book, remembering looking at these printed pages with Master Fu a while back. She felt like Master Fu would be so proud of them if he were still around. She smiled down at the book as she caressed the pages.

"Remember when Master Fu upgraded our Miraculous?" Marinette asked him.

"Yeah, I still have some of that camembert saved up somewhere. Why?" Adrien said to her.

"I really think that this book might help us with Izuku's Miraculous. If One for All really does still have some quirks in there, then this might help him with the quirks. It might even help him keep it under control," Marinette explained.

"We should go give it to him then. This is pretty important," Adrien said to her, "He's gotta be awake by now."

Marinette and Adrien headed out of his room, and then she stopped in her tracks when she held the book close to her.

"Nana might be onto something. If we have a little bit of One for All in our Miraculous, then we might have one or two of those said quirks..."

Marinette looked at Adrien, and they both walked out of his room and ran to the school. Luckily, they had already tucked in their tail and wings before they left. They kept up the pace with each other as Marinette stuffed the book in her backpack. She didn't want anyone to see what she had. Hopefully Midoriya was already awake and ready for something like this.

Another amazing chapter!

This was really fun to write after the few fights with Chrysalis and the akumas. It was something really fun and silly, but also moved things along. Marinette and Adrien are just so cute, they are so much fun to write! Marinette's and Adrien's transformations seemed to have showed up even when they are not Ladybug and Cat Noir! So cute!

Marinette and Adrien are ready to start looking for ingredients for these recipes, but first they have to go see Midoriya!
