The rampage of Joan of Arc reborn as a Klabautermann, that lasted weeks as she made her way north and destroying everything in her way. She blamed the French for turning their backs to her in her time of need, and would had burn the English if she wasn't stop by the Greek Klabautermanns. The long term effects of her rampage caused the people of France to fear the consequences of using magic and using Klabautermanns. The Vatican used the burning of Notre Dame Cathedral to condemn all Klabautermanns and the use of magic. But the governments ignored the cries as they know that if they didn't, other countries will continue to make more Klabautermanns and research magic.

Joan suddenly woke up, she immediately summoned her rig to continue her onslaught but found nothing. She looked around finding herself in a room made out of stone and looking down at herself she found herself floating in the air. She remembers those other Klabautermanns showing up and killing her with a barrage of cannon fire.

"I'm dead again," Joan said figuring out that she's dead.

"Yes in a way," a familiar voice said.

Turning to the voice, Joan saw it's, Aria standing next to a table with a hunk of twisted metal. There is also an odd looking radio on the table too but her attention was on her old friend.

"Aria?" Joan asked surprised that she of all people is there to greet her.

"You're a Klabautermann still, just as a spirit now. Used magic to bring you back from this piece of wreckage," Aria said. "How I'm still alive, I'm a siren, an aquatic dragon and we unlike humans can live for thousands of years."

"You're a dragon?" Joan asks.

"Yes a dragon. And you're a Klabautermann of a resurrected heroine, who went on a rampage that destroyed much of France when they were still recovering from the last war. And destroying Notre Dame, the palace, the museum, the Eiffel Tower, and causing some of the streets to open up and revealing the catacombs full of bones of the dead. I never seen anything like that happen before. Your status as the Saint of France is being revoke," Aria said.

"A empty title from a false faith. I know what the true faith is from Jesus himself. I devoted myself to a false faith that only cared to make the leaders rich and fat, all that I was taught are nothing but lies and twisted truths. Me destroying Norte Dame and the false idols within, isn't seen as a sin against god. They're just buildings of stone and wood, nothing more. They claim that magic is the work of the devil when it's the only way god can communicate with humans," Joan said. (1)

"And destroying France?" Aria asked.

"They turned their backs to me, with the people I fought and died for, doing nothing when I was burn to death. So I repaid their betrayal on their descendants and all of France. The French people who were apart of my trial sided with the English. And they dare to bring me back to fight another war for them? Claiming that after my death, that another trial showed that I'm innocent and that I been made a saint, would ever be enough to make it up to me? I killed those men who brought me back and destroyed the city, eating the people alive and dead to restock and refuel my body. I refuse to be a weapon and be thrown away once I'm no longer useful," Joan said.

"I warned you," Aria said.

"You did, and what about you?" Joan asks.

"I was already home in Greece when I heard the news. Remember when you saw Charles, I told you I would be going home after the party," Aria said.

"Right," Joan said.

"You also should be wanting revenge on the English," Aria pointed out.

"Where do you think I was heading to next?" Joan asked.

"You be happy to know that thanks to being on the losing side, both France and England came out badly. And the reason why you were brought back was to handle the Klabautermann privateers or pirates that had been looting and raiding the French. The Russian empress loaned them over to some kingdoms that have problems with France. How much did you learn before you started destroying and burning?" Aria asks.

"Was told about how a Russian princess can use magic, making Klabautermanns and reclaimed her throne. The French controlled colonies being attacked by Klabautermanns and pirates being used. They only brought me back to fight another war and be their flagship of a Klabautermann fleet," Joan said bitterly.

"The French really went out on that. It's why we sent so many Klabautermanns to stop you," Aria said causing Joan to turn to face her. "The French were calling for help and it was a good way to display our strength to the world. Germany was asking for an arm and a leg to send theirs. Besides if I showed up you would had just blasted me."

"I would," Joan said.

"Which is why I did all of this you are an old friend and it's nice to have you around again, even if it's as a spirit. Me and my sisters have already revealed ourselves to the world as dragons in human foams. And with us being lords of our own domain in Greece and being the only ones besides Russia having knowledge on the lost art of magic. We don't have to worry about idiots who think that eating a dragon heart will grant them power or immortality. Doesn't work as the idea that horn from a rhinoceros cures anything, just wishful thinking but idiots will still pay huge amounts for it. Might as well shake them down for all they got," Aria said.

"You haven't changed. I still remember you in that wagon train selling goods and medicine to my army and other camp followers," Joan said.

"Me and my sisters learned long ago not to stick out and just be noblewomen who are heads of merchant guilds. Most of the time if we tried to help we would be called witches even after curing a plague. The church is losing lots of its power as governments don't care what they have to say about magic. Russia broke all ties with the church and is now the most powerful and technologically advanced country in the world now," Aria said.

"Good," Joan said.

"There you have it folks, her side of the story. Joan gave up so much and only to have no one coming to her aid at her time of need and left to die. Only having after it would had mattered, anything done. And only being brought back to fight again for a nation that already betrayed her," Aria said turning off the radio and pulled out the power cord to make sure it's off. (2)

"What now?" Joan asks.

"Well all of this is being heard on radio, to get your side of the story. It's been a couple of weeks since you were killed. But seeing how you are a Klabautermann now, if destroyed unlike before you can always be rebuilt," Aria said.

Author's Notes -

1 - In this story praying is like trying to talk to someone on the other side of the planet on a phone without power. Without magic to power the pray, god can't hear anything.

2 - It doesn't matter how much she was proven right and how she was made into a Saint after her death. All Joan cares about is that she was burn alive and no one tried to help her. And the nation that left her to die, making up to her when she's already dead, isn't good enough for her to care enough to not rampage.

Like someone refusing to help while someone close to you is dying and only after they're dead, is when that person tries to help. And thinking that's good enough to make up for not doing something when it could had save a life.

That's how Joan views France.
