However, he finds can't stay away from her permanently, and he puts in motion a series of events that will bring her back into his life. Where does love begin? In the fifth cellar of the Opera Populaire perhaps? Forced to relinquish the role of Angel of Music after Raoul appears on the scene, Erik must find a new way to communicate with Christine. This story is about the 14 days when Erik believes Christine will not be concerned about his face and will love him for who he is.

Fifteen years after a catastrophic asteroid impact left Earth a cold, war-ravaged place, Christine finds her entire world shaken when a devastating loss sweeps a strange, dark figure into her life. Rating to be changed to M.

What would happen if you put many different versions of the Phantom of the Opera together in one house? And this "Phamily" is led by a single woman? Let's see if that woman will keep everything under control, especially if certain sopranos are added by the opera spirits. Well, let's be surprised. Note: I take a few examples from other FF ;)

The year is 1871 and Paris is under siege by the Prussians. With her fiancé dead and no one willing to hire her, Christine finds herself living on the streets, begging for food and sleeping in abandoned cathedrals. Through heartbreak and trial, Christine must learn to trust and grow under the guidance of a sinister and deadly guardian.

"The world forgot him, but I never can." An origin story for Madame Giry, detailing her childhood in a Romani caravan, her rise through the ballet corps, how she met and lost her husband, and most of all, her long and complex relationship with Erik. (Mostly ALW-based, but includes elements from Leroux, Kay, and other adaptations.)

Unsatisfied with her choice, Christine sets out with a mission to reclaim what is lost. A storm is brewing, and come hell or highwater, she will have what is hers. Post-musical, E/C with a healthy dose of angst.

Modern AU. The tragedy of his mother's death drives Erik, a once-famous pianist, into extreme isolation. Angry and alone, he avenges her in the only way he knows how, a tragedy that will follow him for years, until he comes face to face with the victim of his mistakes: Christine Daae. Raoul was bound to recognise Christine when once he heard her sing. But things have changed... for both of them.

It's Erik and Christine's first Christmas as a married couple. Erik, who has never celebrated Christmas before in his life, doesn't really know what to do on this special day. But Christine is determined to give him the best Christmas of his life. Note: this story will be A Yun Ga (Erik) and Yang Chen Xiu Yi (Christine) from the Chinese Phantom Cast this year

In the 1990 Adaption of "The Phantom of the Opera" Where Christine (Teri Polo) convinced Erik, the Phantom (Charles Dance) that she could love his face without his mask. Upon seeing it she fainted and fled in fear with Erik unable to stop her. The story ended sadly with Erik dying and Christine leaving with the Count de Chagny. But here is my view on how the story should have gone.

Leroux-based. When Raoul de Chagny takes aim at Erik's eyes glowing through his window-pane, his bullet strikes true and accelerates the Opera Ghost's demise. "Yes, yes, he had undoubtedly fired at Erik. Why had he not killed him?" Two-shot. COMPLETE. Part of a series I found on an old hard-drive and am uploading.

Summary: Poor and plain Nurse Daae is hired to tend injured war hero Erik D'Anton in recently liberated WWII France. A variation from traditional canon, this story is one of endurance, hope, and the ever-redeeming powers of love.ExC, Romance/Hurt/Comfort, AU: 1944, Paris, France. Limony 'M' warning just to be safe.
